(Tai's POV)

I'm standing on a cliff. I looked at a grave, my husband's grave.

Tai: Hi Sum Sum. Did you miss me? It's been awhile, hasn't it?

I asked, actually expecting an answer.

Tai: I've been doing great. I sent Zwei to Ruby and Yang awhile back, so the house is pretty empty and quiet.

I looked down at the ground.

Tai: I miss you, a lot. I know you would want me to move on, but it's hard to. I want to find someone to love, but I don't think anyone can compare to you.

I took a deep breath and looked back at the grave.

Tai: I need to get going Sum Sum. I love you.

I turned around and headed back home.

(Time skip)

I just got back home. I sat down on my couch and sighed. I checked the time.

Tai: Ruby and Yang should be home at anytime now.

They told me that summer break has begun and that they would be here soon. I turned the tv on to pass the time. After a bit of waiting, I heard a knock on the door. I got up and answered it.

Ruby: Hi mom!

Tai: Ruby! Yang!

I pulled them both in a tight hug. They hugged me back.

Tai: I'm glad to see you two again.

I broke the hug. I heard a bark. I looked down and saw Zwei looking up at me. I picked him up and he licked my face.

Tai: I'm happy to see you too Zwei.

Ruby and Yang walked in the house.

Yang: Anything exciting happen while we were gone?

Tai: Not really. I did plant some new flowers in the garden.

Yang: Woah, so nothing exciting.

Tai: How is Beacon so far?

Ruby: It's going great. I'm the leader of a team!

She's the leader? That's nice to hear. Just like her father.

Tai: I'm happy to hear you are leader. You are going to need to tell me everything that happened.

Yang: Zwei was set on fire and launched through a robot.

Tai: What?!

She has to be lying. I looked at Ruby and she looked away, avoiding eye contact. Yang isn't lying. I rubbed my forehead and sighed.

Tai: You're lucky Zwei is ok.

Zwei just barked. I placed him down on the floor.

Ruby: I'll tell you everything, just later. I'm tired.

Tai: Well, you two get some rest. From the sounds of it, you two deserve it.

They walked upstairs. I heard two doors open then shut. I went over to the couch and sat down. Zwei jumped up on the couch and laid down next to me. I put my hand on his head and petted him.

Tai: Who's a good boy?

Zwei barked at me in response.

Tai: That's right. You are.

I looked around. I pulled out my laptop and opened it. I went to a dating website I'm using right now. I checked my profile and I don't have any matches yet.

Tai: Still no matches? I've been using this for a month now.

I sighed and went through some profiles, hoping to find someone that catches my eye.

Ruby: What are you doing?

I jumped a little and slammed my laptop shut.

Tai: Nothing!

I turned around and saw Yang and Ruby standing behind the couch.

Yang: What were you doing mom?

Tai: I told you! N-nothing!

They both gave me a skeptical look. Yang shrugged.

Yang: Alright. Guess I'll go back to my- Ruby now!

Ruby used her semblance to fly past me and grabbed the laptop out of my hands.

Ruby: Got it!

Tai: Give that back or you're grounded!

Ruby looked at me.

Ruby: ...No.

Her and Yang ran into the kitchen. I got up and ran after them. I saw them looking at the screen.

Ruby: A dating website?

I feel my face heat up like crazy.

Yang: Oh my gosh mom.

Yang turned around to look at me.

Yang: You're doing this all wrong.

Tai: W-what?

Yang: You're not going to get any guys with this profile.

Tai: What do you mean?

Ruby: Don't worry mom. Me and Yang will help you get a boyfriend!

Tai: I don't need help from my daughters to get a date!

Ruby: We're going to help you no matter what you saw.

Yang: Trust us, we know what we are doing. We are just going to change your bio just a little.

I sighed. Might as well let them help. It can't hurt. They might actually get me a date.

Tai: Alright, fine. If this backfires, you two are grounded!

(Readers POV)

I just got back home from work. I took my shoes off and walked up to the couch. I sat down and let out a sigh of relief.

(Y/N): Work just gets harder every day. What time is it?

I got out my scroll and noticed that it's five o'clock. Man, times flies when you work you're ass off. At least it's the weekend, so I don't have to work until Monday. I got out my laptop and checked my dating profile.

(Y/N): How could it be this hard to find a date?

I got a notification.

(Y/N): A match? Finally.

I clicked on it and it brought me to a profile.

(Y/N): Taiyang Xiao Long.

I looked at some of her pictures and she's gorgeous. I can't believe that she's my first match. I sent her a simple "hi."

(Tai's POV)

Ruby: Hey mom! You already got a match and he sent a message!

Tai: Really?!

I looked at the screen.

Tai: Holy crap, you two actually did it.

Yang: See? I told you we knew what we were doing. Me and Ruby will leave you to it.

They gave me a quick hug and they left the kitchen. I checked the profile out.

Tai: (Y/N) (L/N). He looks better than I expected.

I looked at the message and it's "hi." I sent "Hello" back. He sent back "How are you doing?" "I'm going great, thanks for asking" I typed and sent. "Are you free tomorrow? I'd like to go on a date."

Tai: Tomorrow? I can go today, but he's probably busy today.

"I'm free tomorrow. I'd love to go on a date." I sent to him and waited. The wait felt like an eternity. He sent "Nice, I'll see you tomorrow."

Tai: Yes! I still can't believe Ruby and Yang made this look easy. I'll have to thank them later, assuming this goes good.

(Readers POV)

I threw my hands up in the air in celebration.

(Y/N): Yes. I got a date tomorrow.

I sighed in relief and closed my laptop. I turned the tv on. I laid down on the couch and watched tv. Today really has been a eventful day.

(Time skip)

I'm in town right now. Me and Tai are meeting up today for our date. I made it to a cafe and entered in it. I looked around and saw a blonde haired woman sitting by herself at a table. I walked up to her.

(Y/N): Excuse me. Are you Taiyang Xiao Long?

She looked up at me and smiled.

Tai: I am. You must be (Y/N) (L/N).

(Y/N): That's me. It's nice to meet you.

I sat down across from her.

(Y/N): I have to say, you look way prettier in person.

Tai: Thank you. You got quite the looks yourself.

A waiter walked up to us and asked us for our orders. We asked for some coffee and the waiter left.

(Y/N): So Tai, tell me about yourself.

Tai: Alright. Where to start?

She asked herself.

Tai: I have a dog named Zwei, I'm a single mother of two girls, and I like gardening.

(Y/N): You have two daughters?

Tai: I do... Is that a bad thing?

(Y/N): Oh no, it's fine. How old are your girls?

Tai: Seventeen and fifteen.

(Y/N): That's nice.

I thought about what to ask next.

(Y/N): What do you do for work?

Tai: I teach at Signal Academy and do some huntress work here and there.

She's a huntress?

(Y/N): I never thought someone as beautiful as you would do something so dangerous.

Tai: I'm a tough woman.

I looked and saw the waiter come back with our orders. He gave us our coffee and walked away.

(Time skip) (Tai's POV)

Me and (Y/N) have been talking for an hour now. He's fun to talk to. He pulled out his scroll and gave a disappointed look.

(Y/N): I'm so sorry for calling this short, but I have to go.

Tai: It's alright. I had a fun time talk to you.

(Y/N): It's was fun talking to you too.

(Y/N) reached in his pocket and pulled out some money.

(Y/N): This is for the coffee.

He handed me the money. He got up and was about to leave, but I grabbed his arm and stopped him.

Tai: Let's keep in touch, handsome.

I gave him a quick kiss on the lips. His cheeks turned a little shade of pink. He just nodded his head and he left. I paid for the bill with the money (Y/N) gave me and I left the cafe. I can still taste him on my lips.

Tai: I... love this taste.

I licked my lips and savored the flavor.

Yang: How did it go?

I jumped a bit. I turned around to see Ruby and Yang.

Tai: Why are you two here?

Ruby: We just had to know how it went.

Tai: Did you two really wait an hour outside of the cafe?

Yang: That's doesn't matter right now. Did it go well?

Tai: Yeah, actually. I feel a connection with him. I think he's a keeper.

Yang: Wow. The dating website worked better than I expected. I thought you would have to go through at least ten guys before finding the one.

Ruby: Yay! Mom won't be lonely anymore!

Tai: Gee, thanks.

(Time skip)

Me and (Y/N) have been seeing each other for about two weeks now. Every time I see him, the more I fall in love with him. I can't get my mind off of him.

Tai: I can't wait to see him again.

He sent me his address and I'm heading to his house now. After some walking, I made it to his house. I got a little nervous. I knocked on the front door and waited. After a bit, the door open.

(Y/N): You made it Tai. Please come in.

He walked to the side and held the door open. I walked inside his house.

Tai: Nice place you got here.

I looked around and saw a framed picture of a woman I haven't seen before on a table. I pointed at it and looked at (Y/N).

Tai: Who is she?

(Y/N): I forgot to get rid of that. That's my ex, Jessica.

(Y/N) said with venom in his voice. He picked the picture up and went to a trash can. He threw it away.

Tai: It sounds like you really hate her.

(Y/N): Of course I hate her. We have been married for years.

He was married? I really want to know more.

Tai: If you don't mind me asking, what happened?

(Y/N) sighed.

(Y/N): We have been together for along time, but I found out she has been cheating behind my back the entire time. After I found out, she divorced me and took half my money. Now I have to work my ass off to pay bills.

I feel bad for (Y/N). Being with someone just to find out they have been cheating must hurt a lot. I walked up to him and hugged him from behind.

Tai: I'm sorry for asking.

(Y/N): No, it's fine. It wasn't your fault.

I thought of an idea. I started to to rub up on his chest.

Tai: Let me help you forget about her.~

I trailed my hands downward.

Tai: Mind showing me where your bedroom is?~

(Time skip)

Me and (Y/N) are laying in his bed, breathing heavily. We have the covers over us, covering our naked, sweaty bodies.

(Y/N): That... was... amazing.

Tai: It was.

(Y/N): I had no idea you were that flexible.

Tai: I guess I should have warned you that I'm very experienced.

I rolled over to face him. I put my arm on his chest and let out a sigh of relief.

Tai: When we first met, I knew you were the one. I would do anything for you. Anything.

(Y/N): I feel the same way. I got really lucky getting matched with you.

He wrapped an arm around me and placed his hand on my hip.

Tai: Do you mind if I stay the night?

(Y/N): I don't mind.

I snuggled up to him. It's getting late. I closed my eyes and held (Y/N) close.

Tai: Mine.

I whispered to myself.

(Time skip)

I'm suddenly woken up by the doorbell ringing. I looked at (Y/N) and he is still asleep. I got up and put some clothes on quickly. I checked the time and it's midnight.

Tai: Who the hell is here at this time?

I made it to the front door and opened it. I saw a woman that looks familiar.

Jessica: Who the hell are you?

Tai: Who the hell are you?

Jessica: I'm Jessica.

Tai: Oh. You're the whore that cheated on my (Y/N).

Jessica: You bitch!

Tai: Why are you even here?

Jessica: I came here because that bastard needs to give me some money.

Tai: You won't get shit. Now get out of here, before I make you.

Jessica: Ha! What could you do to me, you old used up piece of trash?

Stupid whore. I kicked her in the gut. She gasped for air and went on her knees. I grabbed the back of her head and kneed her in the face, causing blood to come from her nose.

Tai: You want to say that again?

She started to cry from the pain. I covered her mouth to make sure she doesn't wake up (Y/N).

Tai: Normally, I would let you go with a warning. But you might tell on me and I can't let that happen. I can not be separated from my (Y/N).

I hit her on the head as hard as I could, knocking her out. I let out a sigh.

Tai: Time to dispose of you. I know you can't hear me, but you deserve everything that's coming to you for breaking my (Y/N)'s heart.

I picked her up and went to take her to her finally resting place.

(Time skip) (Readers POV)

Me and Tai have been dating for a month now. Tai is at my house right now. We sat down on the couch and I turned the tv on. I see the news go on.

News reporter: The current whereabouts of Jessica Jones are still unknown. She has gone missing a month ago without leaving a single trace. If you have any info-

I changed the channel to something else. Tai hugged my arm and pulled me closer to her.

Tai: I hope they find her someday.

(Y/N): Yeah. She did cheat on me and stuff, but she doesn't deserve to go missing.

Tai put her hand on my cheek and moved my head to look at her. She put her lips on mine and we stayed like that for a bit. Tai broke the kiss.

Tai: Let's not worry about her. I'm sure they'll find her soon enough.

(Y/N): Yeah, I guess you're right.

She placed her hand on my lap and started to rub it.

Tai: I've been in the mood. Want to help me out?~

(Y/N): Of course. I've been stressed lately.

Tai: Good. I've been thinking of some new things we could try out in bed.~
