DAY 7

It is Sunday and on Sundays, Akademi High is usually open for club activities. Osana and Raiburu are sitting on the grass with their backs against the wall by Class 1-2A. Osana hasn't been able to sleep since Taro rejected her while Raiburu has been with her, trying to make her feel better but nothing is working.

"I'm sorry" Raiburu says in guilt.

"It's not your fault" Osana says feeling horrible that she just received an apology from her best friend.

"But isn't it? Yesterday, you made me realise that it is my fault you got rejected. I encouraged you to put the note in his locker" Raiburu says, trying to convince Osana to blame her for it.

"Are you suggesting that if I didn't give Taro the note, he wouldn't have rejected me?" Osana asks getting fed up.

"YES!" Raiburu says. Ayano is coming out of the school store. She was sharpening a knife inside when she heard Raiburu's shout. She tiptoes nearer to the wall to their conversation.

"All you've ever done is support and encourage me. Anything that happens after that isn't your fault" Osana says, holding Raiburu's hand however, Raiburu doesn't believe her. She feels that Osana feels the same way but is trying to conceal it. Infact, she blames herself for the pain that Osana is feeling; due to this, she wants to be alone.

Raiburu goes all the way to the school incinerator. She goes into the door beside it and starts to cry. Ayano who is outside the door hears her weeping and grins, seeing this as a good opportunity to bounce in and finish the job. She slowly opens the door and goes in. Raiburu lifts her head and sees Ayano approaching her.

"Ayano? What are you doing here?" she says and bows her head. Seeing that she got no response from Ayano, she gets suspicious.

"By the way, how do you Osana? It looks like she likes you a lot but I didn't see you by her side when Taro rejected her" Raiburu says in suspicion.

"Oh. You see, I actually like Taro to" Ayano says sweetly. Raiburu looks at her closely.

"Go on" Raiburu says, still suspecting her. Ayano looks to the ground and sees a stone. Raiburu notices that she is looking at the stone and immediately knows what to expect.

"I like Taro and.....YOUR SHIT OF A FRIEND IS GETTING IN MY WAY!!!" Ayano shouts and swiftly picks up the stone, heading for Raiburu. She wants to use it to smack her head but Raiburu immediately holds her hand and it ends up being a test of strength.

"I knew you suspicious. How did Osana not see through your obvious facade?" Raiburu says as she tries to overpower Ayano, letting out loud grunts.

"I won't really call it obvious though. As long as my senpai doesn't know, I don't care who finds it obvious" Ayano says and bends Raiburu's back but she spins Ayano around and hits her back on the wall. Ayano swings her leg up and hits Raiburu's groin which makes her yelp. Ayano picks the stone and wants to use it to hit Raiburu again but she bends to the side and dodges it. She gets frustrated and throws the stone in Raiburu's direction but she dodges it just in the nick of time. Her eyes widen at the fact that she almost got hit by a stone.

She runs towards her, jumps in the air and spin kicks Ayano, almost throwing her on the ground. Ayano hisses and throws a punch at Ayano, however, she catches her fist in palm and stares into her eye.

"I'm going to tell Taro your true colours. He doesn't know how evil you are because of your damn angelic face" Raiburu says in attempt to threaten Ayano but all she gets out of her is a scoff.

"That's if you are alive to do that" Ayano says and takes the knife out of her stockings. She wants to use it to stab Raiburu but she holds it, making them both struggle.

"Who taught you martial arts anyway?" Raiburu asks being scared that she is about to lose - because she is.

"Your admirer" Ayano says with joy in her heart. Raiburu's legs start to move back and her shoulder leans against the wall.

"Who admires me?" Raiburu asks losing focus.

"Budo" Ayano says and hits the back of the knife, forcing it down Raiburu's throat as her eyes start to tear up. She falls to the ground and starts to wheeze. Ayano uses her leg to press her throat, making her unable to breathe. Finally, she lays dead on the ground. She places the knife back in her stockings as peeps outside the door.

Nobody is there.

She touches Raiburu's chest to be sure that she is dead. In confirming that she is indeed dead, she carries her heavy body to the incinerator. Budo is on his way to the incinerator to burn garbage. He sees Ayano holding Raiburu and notices her bloody body. He covers his mouth to prevent himself from screaming. He watches as she throws her body into the incinerator and turns it on, watching the corpse burn. He gasps loudly in shock, attracting her attention to him.
She scowls and walks towards him but he bounces out of her way in terror. She glances at him one last time and walks off. Budo slowly walks to the incinerator and hesitantly peeks inside. He sees Raiburu's body almost burnt to fried chicken and looks away, throwing up.

Ayano is on her way to Info-chan's computer room but doesn't know that Phantom girl is following her from behind. It would be difficult for her to leave Ayano alone because she has just killed someone. As Ayano ascends the stairs, she feels the same presence she felt in the third floor's restroom. She is very curious about this presence because she finds it bizarre. She sharply turns back and Phantom girl disappears narrowly. Ayano is very, very suspicious.

As she arrives at the computer room, she sees Info-chan's eyes fixed on the computer with the light reflecting on her glasses, making her look shady.

"You killed Raiburu. I always knew you had the balls" Info-chan says and spins her chair around.

"So now, Osana is next. I'm just waiting for her to hear of Raiburu's death. That's your job. You said you wanted your papers to sell; do it quickly. Her existence is making me sick" Ayano says in an authoritative manner.

"I'm impressed but, may I ask a pressing question?" asks Info-chan. Ayano shrugs in a *I don't care manner*

"You didn't kill Masuta. Why?" Info-chan asks and this question makes Ayano think deeply. Finally, she finds her reason.

"He can be useful" Ayano says proudly.

"That's right. He has feelings for you" Info-chan says and laughs which Ayano finds annoying. All of a sudden, Ayano remembers the bloody shirt she found in the toilet.

"Info-chan, it's my turn to ask you a question" Ayano says in a bossy way.

"That's why I'm here" Info-chan says.

"I found a bloody shirt in the third floor's restroom which led me to tapes. What exactly happened and why was the shirt buried in the floor?" Ayano asks. Info-chan makes a worried expression.

''Where is the shirt?" Info-chan asks and gets up from her chair. Ayano hands her the shirt from her bag. In that moment, Phantom girl walks in through the door. She stands at a spot, glaring at Ayano thundurously. Info-chan runs to Ayano and spins her around.

"Why so impulsive?" Ayano asks in a way that was meant to piss her off.

"Tell me, are you ready to see a ghost? Do you want to see a ghost?" Info-chan asks her deeply. Ayano stares at her like she's saying absolute bullshit.

"Have you seen one before?" Ayano asks curiously.

"I think so" Info-chan says in an inconclusive way. Ayano begins to think. She isn't sure if there is actually a ghost but she is sure one thing....

"Then let me see one to. No dumb ghost scares me" Ayano says boldly. Info-chan admires her courage and gives Ayano the shirt. Immediately, she feels the presence again - she knows that somebody is standing behind her. As she turns around, she sees an angry phantom girl leaning on the wall.

"How long have you been with me?" Ayano asks.

"You killed someone, Ayano" Phantom girl says in a spooky way, her voice echoing in the room.

"And someone killed you, ghost girl" Ayano says in the same manner as Phantom girl. Meanwhile, Info-chan is dissatisfied with Ayano's choice of name to call her.

"No Ayano. Call her Phantom girl" Info-chan says but Ayano couldn't care less about useless names when a ghost is standing at her front.

FACTS💡
Ayano just thought about using Budo at the dime second and didn't have that thought on her mind before. Her reason for not killing Budo is simply nothing. She didn't feel like killing him.

SORRY FOR THE LATE UPDATE. I'M BUSY WITH ONLINE CLASSES AND HAVE ASSIGNMENTS SO UPDATING MIGHT TAKE SOME TIME UNLESS I'M FREE. I HOPE THIS CHAPTER MADE UP FOR IT❤️
