°Yandere! Katsuki Bakugou X Fem! Reader°
~♡~
You eagerly kicked your legs to and from, as the lengthy vehicle came to a halt. Currently, a class trip was in session. Aizawa announced this a few days ago, this was simply a break to get your mind off of a few things.
Students from class 1-A sat on a bus that was idle near the mountains. Everyone gazed towards the window, all except for Katsuki Bakugou. He sat comfortably; his hands tied behind his back, leaning back against his seat, along with his legs, which were resting on the head of Midoriya's seat. Kirishima sat beside him. Meanwhile, the timid green bean was currently next to you, uncomfortable by Bakugou's feet crossed above him.
"Midoriya! Check this out!"
Midoriya perked up, his expression more frantic and flustered than interested. "H..Huh? W..What i...is it, [L/N]?" He watched as you pressed your index finger against the glass, probing for his attention to raise towards the scenery. "You see that mountain up there? I'm pretty sure we'll be staying in the hotel! And ... I've been told that it's..." You swept your eyes from the view and towards your closest friend, coming so close as to whispering a solid word.
"Haunted..."
Your friend froze, and slowly cocked his head away. Blue lines amended underneath his left eye, signalling his discomfort. "H..Huh?! You must be lying, right?!" He asked, unable to contain his trembling. His question made you frantically nod, you were going to persuade him furthermore, however a redhead in particular stopped you.
"Come on, [L/N], don't be like that! You know how Midoriya is!!" Kirishima spoke while leaning against the top of your seat, peering downwards towards your guilted figure. Midoriya shuffled his gaze towards you, and then up at Kirishima. "She's just teasin' you."
You pursed your lips as your classmate ruined the teasing you brought onto the manipulative being. But to recuperate, you pursued your goals that consisted of making Midoriya feel fear. "I'm not! I'm telling you the truth!"
Midoriya gulped. "[L-L/N]! I know you're lying, stop trying to pers-" The sound of someone else's voice overlapped his, causing all attention to roll over towards upfront.
It was Aizawa.
"Everyone, grab your things, we're walking up the mountains."
Most of class 1-A were getting excited, others like Bakugou didn't care. And as everyone proceeded off of the bus, you all stared in astonishment towards the long staircase leading up the large mountain. Mineta staggered back, worry surrounding his face. "Don't tell me we have to walk all the way up there!?!"
Aizawa grinned. "That's it. Think of it as training and receiving a reward; all of you will work your way up towards the top, and to compensate for that, the hotel will be a place you all could relax."
"But I thought we could take a break from all of that work.." Denki stated as he and Ashido slouched, despondent due to their latest task. That is, until Jiro gently shoved the boy with golden locks forward. "Hey, Kaminari! I bet you can't beat me running up this thing!"
Kaminari altered his mood and grew undoubtedly competitive by Jiro's words. He scoffed, while the female made her way up the staircase. Class 1-A followed behind, using their quirks to maneuver past each other, leaving you, Uraraka, Midoriya, and Bakugou standing there. Aizawa took another route, making sure that he'd beat the rest of the students before their arrival.
"Uraraka, why aren't you floating your way up there?" Midoriya asked calmly, causing the girl to fidget. "A-Ah... I haven't fully controlled zero gravity yet... So the most I could do is float upwards and towards the atmosphere..!"
You giggled, your eyes pivoting towards the egotist. "You're the most competitive person here, Bakugou. Why aren't you shamelessly exploding your way up there?" You asked him, watching as he quickly swept his gaze away from you. He grunted, taking his precious time up the staircase.
Midoriya furrowed his eyebrows, as he realized this was not the boy he knew all these years. But he easily brushed it off, figuring today he wasn't feeling too well. "Hey, [L/N]. Could w..we ... race each other?"
His question made you smile, and you staggered forward and up the cases, passing by Bakugou along the way. "I'm already steps ahead of you!" You cooed, twirling around with a widening grin. The male behind you flinched, afterwards you both tailed each other, with Uraraka tagging behind.
"[L/N]! If that was supposed to be a joke, you should be a comedian!!"
Bakugou watched all of you closely, angered by the sight. More specifically; Midoriya. He clenched his teeth, the gears in his head grinding as he thought about one scenario in particular...
You and Midoriya's happy ending.
His steamy red eyes were dim, those glistening colors in his hues fell into a void which had no refunds.
"That damn freckled bastard..."
"It's about time he learns his place."
Eventually everyone reached the hotel, panting heavily while being rendered out of breath. You had your hands on your knees, struggling to regain composure. "My bag made the race even worse.." Hagakure complained.
As everyone found themselves approaching the corridors, Bakugou held Midoriya back for a little chat. Of course his childhood friend accepted, after getting that brief feeling of intimidating inferiority.
"...Kacchan... What did you want to talk about?" He asked softly, often diverting his gaze elsewhere.
Bakugou simply glared, his hands tucked into his pockets. "..." Doing this caused the other to gulp nervously, feeling petrified by the amounts of hostility swarming around his figure. Midoriya then turned his head towards the doors. "[L/N] ... is waiting for me... I.. think I should go if all we're going to do his glare.."
Bakugou removed one hand from his pocket, his palm crackling with explosions. His eyebrow twitched. "You tryin' to be smart, you nerd?" He asked sternly, causing the other to stagger back. "N-No!"
Midoriya then pursed his lips, as it grew quiet once more.
"Listen, you freak." Bakugou glared, turning away from the male and towards the corridors belonging to the hotel. "I want you to stay away from [Y/N]. Get any more involved with her and I'll kill you."
He moved away from Midoriya with unpleased eyes, entering the building so hopefully he could congregate or watch you from afar.
The freckled boy shivered once more, as his threat never settled the fear already inside of him. He watched him walk off, and felt pressured as he followed behind him. His eyes stared towards the cement, a keen sense of worry in his shimmering hues. 'It's just an empty threat, right? I wonder why he's treating me this way...' He then frantically shook his head. 'No, Kacchan is just trying to make me feel inferior, this is normal!'
As Midoriya entered the building, he spotted you getting a keycard for your room, and so he wanted to accompany you. "[L/N]..! Can I come with you? I should know where your room is in case of an emergency." Midoriya asked, attaining his key as well. You peered towards him with a small smile. "Sure! Let's find some Poltergeists while we're at it!" You pulled him along with you, coursing Midoriya's body in concern.
"P...Poltergeists?!"
The both of you roamed the hallways, and your demeanor soon contorted into a dramatic infiltration. "Okay, the hallways are clear, no supernatural occurrences currently happening--" You had your back against the wall and slid against the narrow walls, meanwhile Midoriya warily followed your lead. Your nonexistent walkie-talkie chirped and buzzed, as you swiftly twirled towards your door. "I've located the checkpoint, Midoriya, over."
Midoriya nodded while a drop of sweat rolled down his cheek. 'She's really into this sort of thing..' He stood beside you, watching in anticipation as you raised the keycard to unlock your door. With a gentle push, it opened, revealing a luxurious room. "Wow, it... looks great!" Midoriya complimented, examining the space with his eyes.
You nodded in agreement, entering the vacant place to throw your things against the floor. The young boy standing in the doorway scratched his cheek nervously, his eyes shifted.
He felt like he was being watched.
"H.. Hey, [L/N]... I'm going to go unpack now. I don't think I'd be able to stand myself if Mr. Aizawa found me in front of your room." He spoke honestly, confronted by his tension. Midoriya stared at you for an answer, and eventually you turned around with yet another nod, while smiling faintly. "Okay, goodbye Midoriya! I'll talk to you later, right?"
Midoriya's cheeks dissolved into a faint dust of pink, compelled by your words. He then smiled widely and nodded himself. "Yeah!" He closed the door upon his exit, and his steps grew faint as you heard him depart from your area.
You squeezed your arm. "Midoriya is such an innocent bean, so adorable!" After briefly looking around the room, you found yourself laying against your bed, staring towards the ceiling. "This... is.. really ... comfortable..." Your eyelids eventually lowered while your words slurred. Dozing off to sleep wasn't your plan, however, the opportunity was too great to pass up. "May..be... a few... ho..urs... of rest..-" Before you could finish, you passed out and had your consciousness sweep away to the dreamlands.
During the middle of the night, Midoriya had gone off to the Vending Machines for a brief drink. The hallways were quiet, and dark. It almost felt abandoned. As the timid boy traveled further, he glanced around in frightened paranoia. "Keep it together, Izuku...! What [L/N] told you was nothing!" He then started to awkwardly laugh, turning towards the end of the hallway with numerous bullets of nervous sweats rolling down his face.
After he came close to another end of the narrow distance, he spotted someone standing there, glaring with red placid eyes.
"H.. Hello?" The startled boy choked out, while he became parked in the center. He squinted his eyes, his gaze almost demanding for an answer.
"...Deku.."
Midoriya flinched. "K-Kacchan!! What are you doing up so late?!" He asked, meanwhile the other contemplated on going up to him. After a ponderous second, the figure revealing to be Bakugou slowly walked up to his old friend.
He held the expression of disgust.
"You seem to have taken what I said earlier lightly..."
Midoriya took a step back, almost falling into a panic. "W-What? I thought you were kidding!! Co...Come on, we can argue tomorrow! It's lat-" Before he could finish, Bakugou suddenly lunged forward and grabbed the nerd by his collar, soon to force his back against the wall.
"Shut up, you small fry!! I told you to stay away from [Y/N]. But you.." His grip tightened. "...You didn't take me seriously..." As Bakugou's anger consumed him, he suddenly paused, and a laugh gradually grew louder.
"I've been watching [Y/N] longer than you, so how .... how'd you manage to win her over?!" He brought Midoriya away from the wall and grasped onto his jaw, his pensive glare unwavering. The male slowly extracted something from his pocket, and as soon as his adversary laid his eyes upon the weapon; he fearfully squirmed, and his body shook in unattainable trembles.
"Mmf! Hmph!! ... Hmph!!!"
Drowsily, you parted your eyelids followed by an yawn. Your senses were awakening, and as it did so, your ears caught a strange noise. You sat up and rubbed your eyes, taking notice how strangely dark it was throughout the room. "How long.. did I sleep for?..."
Sssk.
Ssssk.
...Ssssk.
That strange noise proceeded, and rather quietly, you reached for your phone and powered it on, allowing the bright light from your screen to illuminate the room.
Your chest tightened, and you gulped as you read the three numbers centered at the top of your screen.
>Time: 3:04 AM<
"It's... It's the Devil's hour!!!"
You frantically looked left, then right, growing eagerly frantic in fear. "N-No wonder I was hearing things.." Your facial expression contorted as you felt indulged to investigate. "Maybe I should call Mid-"
Sssssk.
There's that sound again. It sounded somewhat familiar to you. Your eyes widened, and your body shot forward and into your feet, rising to the door.
"It sounds like someone dragging their feet!"
"Som..eon...e hel..p--" The boy choked out blood which painted against the floor, part of his cheek smudged with blood. Tears clouded his eyes, as he crawled against the floor surrounded in vulnerability. "..H..el..p m..e!" Midoriya tried to scream, but his throat had gone dry. As body was getting numb, he still searched for hope.
It was then did he spot a familiar door in the distance. This provoked him to crawl faster, despite he wound in his abdomen. A trail of blood led behind him, making it inevitable to get away from his adversary.
"...Get back here, Deku... We're not done talking...."
Midoriya turned around with widened eyes, and shook his head earnestly. "..Ge..t a-aw..ay!! K..Ka..cchan!" His head turned back around and proceeded to crawl, desperation filled in his green hues.
Bakugou scoffed, crouched down, and grabbed onto the boy's shirt. He then reeled him in back towards him, a wide grin on his face. What was in his other hand was a pocket knife, thirsty for blood. "This... is what happens when you take my words for granted.."
Midoriya clenched his teeth, struggling to survive. "I... won...t di..e! I ca..n't..." He tried to grasp onto anything around him, however there was nothing for him to use to his advantage; only a tiled floor which allowed his nails to skid across.
'I... made ... a promise to all might!'
'And [L/N], I... still haven't...'
Bakugou's red hues held no hesitation. Just as Midoriya stretched out his hand to reach for your room, his adversary shoved the switchblade deeply into his neck, his grin lessening into an angered scowl. Blood instantly splattered onto a bit of his clothing, and landed against his cheeks. "[Y/N] is mine. A small fry like you had no chance in hell being with her."
He heard his childhood friend attempt to breathe, and staggered back as he rolled over to place his hand against his bleeding throat.
Midoriya's tears rolled down into his mouth, snot drizzled down his nose, and his body was growing cold. He stared towards Bakugou in horror, and eventually, his trembling had stopped; while his arms fell against the tiles.
'Confessed to her...'
You gulped once again as you reached onto your doorknob. After one good twist you pulled open your door. It was so dark you couldn't see a thing, but you could easily spot one thing if you squinted your eyes.
"..."
"...Bakugou?"
The male perked up as his foot leaned to shove something from your view. He approached you, his dominant hand in his pocket.
"What are you doing up so late..?"
His eyes glinted with insanity, however you had yet to notice. The more he came closer, the earlier you spotted blood against his clothes, and his face. "...[Y/N]." Bakugou said sternly, entering your room without your consent. He closer the door behind him and turned on the lights, allowing you to view his state vividly.
Bakugou placed both hands against your shoulders and pulled you closed towards him, smothering his head into the crook of your neck as he took in that wonderful scent which belonged to you.
"..[Y/N].."
"..."
Your heart dropped out of your chest. All of these were signs that you could've been in potential danger, and so you recklessly squirmed.
"U..Um, B-Bakugou.. what.. happened.. to you?"
You stuttered, attempting to take one step back. He continued to keep hold of you, and closed his eyes. "You... Idiot ... cheating's not very funny.."
He leaned away to stare at your puzzled face in awe, finding it sadistically cute to look at.
"I couldn't let that nerd get in the way of our relationship. You're mine, and mine only."
