It was a chilling evening, and you recently left Hiyori and Yato only to wander. The both of them seemed like they wanted to be alone with each other for a little while, so why not let them?
You sighed deeply while folding your arms behind your back in ponderous thought. And as soon as you lifted your head to view the sky, you spotted an creature falling with large fluttering wings.
Squinting your eyes, you noticed that it was actually inching closer to earth. Immediately, your eyes widened and you attempted to sprint. However as the creature had landed, it created a crater within the ground and caused strong ripples of wind to brush you away.
You shrieked as you had landed, nearly fainting as the air in your body was knocked out of you. Dust filled the air and entered your nose as you attempted to regain your bearings.
"What.. was that??"
Your eyes traveled up the creature, only to have witnessed a woman standing on top of it. She held dual handguns for only a second, before tucking them away safely. Steep purple irises, blond hair nearing her feet, and a slender body. She looked like a goddess in your eyes, which caused you to stare.
The woman stressfully pulled back a bit of her hair, before lowering her eyes only to spot your collapsed figure. She then jumped off of the large creature and went to approach you.
Your cheeks became a flushed red, confused and dazed to why she was approaching you. She then offered her hand with a gentle smile. "Are you hurt?"
The young woman asked, her lavender eyes scanning you in thorough search for cuts or bruises. Pushing your thoughts aside, you sublty smiled in return before taking her hand. "I'm fine. Thank you though, I really appreciate it!"
"You're a nice young lady. What's your name?" She asked you as she pulled you up to your feet. You brushed your jeans, before diverting your gaze in awkward remark. "It's [F/N] [L/N]. How.. about you?"
The woman paused, before rather reluctantly parting her lips to speak with a small relaxed grin. "My name is Bishamonten, feel free to call me Bishamon."
Your [E/C] irises shimmered, as you came to realize that the name sounded quite foreign. As you were almost reeled into the depths of curiosity, you snapped back to reality and frantically shook your head. 'I should be asking about that creature she just killed back there!'
You cleared your throat, while occasionally taking small peeks over toward the twitching specimen. "Excuse me.. Bishamon... What happened with you and that thing back there?" It felt as though Bishamonten knew you were going to ask. She looked unphased, and simply stared into your eyes.
Eventually, she maneuvered to turn towards the creature. "That is a Phantom. I take it ... that you can see them?" She then took a step closer toward you, this only caused you to reflect the opposite and stagger back.
"Y-Yeah..."
Bishamonten eyed you curiously, right before sighing. "That can't be helped. You don't look like a corrupted phantom, so I won't kill you."
You gulped down the intense fear you felt in that moment, your eyes losing their curious shimmer. "K-Kill me??" You frantically stammered, flashing back to the metallic handguns she held earlier.
Getting shot was the last thing you'd want to feel.
"Don't worry, I said that I wouldn't kill you. You seem ... special." She then smiled once more. "But I need to go now, I hope to see you more often, [L/N]." Bishamonten threw a short wave before pivoting her heel, walking the other way opposite from you.
After realizing you were holding your breath, you exhaled, all while looking up at the woman walking down the sidewalk. She seemed very mysterious, and yet interesting at the same time.
You twirled the opposite way, and began to sprint back toward Hiyori and Yato. "I can't wait to tell them what happened to me just now!" You eagerly shouted, flailing your arms in the air. Bishamonten turned around slowly, happening to overhear Yato's name. Her lavender eyes darkened, and her lips parted as she was somehow speaking to someone.
More importantly; Her Regalias.
"Yato! Hiyori!" You slammed open the door, entering Hiyori's home practically emanting glee and enthusiasm. The two looked over towards you, and a familiar boy with bright orange hair peered over his magazine while eating potatoe chips.
"Hm, I thought you were going back to your old school, Yukine?" You sat down beside Hiyori, meanwhile the regalia shook his head.
"I'm dead now, so it doesn't matter anyway." He peered over toward the schoolgirl Hiyori, who looked up at you. She was getting help from Yato, studying. However it turned out the other way around due to Yato's stupidity.
"What happened, [L/N]?" Yato asked you, while slithering his hand towards Yukine's chip bag.
"So I saw this huge Phantom today, it had long black wings and-"
Hiyori, Yato, and Yukine all shot up. They all sweat-dropped, worried about your clueless being. The God with blue eyes cleared his throat.
"You weren't possessed or anything... right?"
You shook your head frantically.
"Then what happened to it?.. Don't tell me it got away...-" Interrupting his sentennce with your wide grin, you scratched your cheek with a faint blush. "A woman named Bishamon... saved me. I'm so grateful to her."
Yato suddenly froze, and flicked his eyes away. "Oh, I see~ Well, you should... stay away from her, who knows what she's capable of..."
You got a bit worried due to his remark, but decided not to question it. "Um.. I think I'll go home now. You seem busy, and I don't want to become an obstacle if someone calls you, Yato." You then bowed, but in reality; you wanted to leave since you've already contorted the atmosphere.
Hiyori waved with a gentle smile, as Yukine did so as well. "See you later!" She spoke, watching as you made your way to the door. And as you were about to step out into the hallway, your face nearly met with large breasts. "Huh?!" You staggered backwards, causing the others behind you to curiously peer over.
Familiar yet lifeless lavender eyes followed yours as you awkwardly shifted your eyes away. "B-Bishamon! How did you find this place?!" The woman pulled on her small hat with a small smile, emanting warmth and passion. "I came here to get you, I know it's been only a few minutes... but I wanted to get to know you more." She stifled a light chuckle, peering over towards the shocked others.
Her irises then landed on Yato.
"..."
The both of them glared at one another for a little while, only Bishamonten disrupted their sequence by grabbing onto your wrist. "Let's hurry up." She then innocently smiled toward you once more. Your stomach turned in objection, and you soon came to an immediate halt while Hiyori approached calmly. "Where are you taking her... Bishamon?"
The woman stared at her with dismay, soon proceeding to exit. "That is none of your business." Her ending sentence made Yato's suspicion reach it's peak. He looked toward Yukine, before extending his arm. "Now, Yukine!"
The boy eating his potaoe chips complied, and willingly took on as Yato's regalia. Bishamonten on the other hand, lowered her eyelids in agitation. "This has nothing to do with you! You both are getting in my way!"
Yato held the bottom of the sword underneath it's palm while the other gently held the handle. He huffed. "We're not going to let you leave with our friend! You tried to kill me, remember?!"
Bishamonten rolled her eyes, and released your wrist. "Then which one do you prefer? Me killing her, or temporarily taking her for a while." And while she spoke, the one of the pistols from earlier managing to guide it's way to her palm. Slowly, the woman raised the weapon to your head, earning a frightful gasp from you.
Bishamonten looked towards you with a small smile, suddenly becoming sidetracked by your yelp. Her cheeks became a puzzled red as she whispered softly into your ear. "It's so cute how you squeal for me.." She cocked the gun, her eyes emanting sadistic intentions. "Do it again..."
Yato suddenly intervened. "What's gotten into you, Bishamon??! You're acting completely different!" The masculine voice caused the woman with long blond hair to snap back into what was before them; an obstacle. She pressed the weapon against your right temple.
"The choice is yours. It's not like you'd have enough time to reach me by the time I pull the trigger."
Hiyori bit down on her lower lip and turned toward the god with blue irises. "Yato! We have no choice in the matter ... Let's.. just let her go.. She'll bring [L/N] back with us later on..! Please don't be irrational!"
"..." Coming to a difficult decision, the male's hands trembled as he slowly lowered his sword, earning a grin from Bishamonten.
"Good boy.. Now let's go [Y/N]." She yanked you out of the door while the gun she held was tucked away yet again. It became clear that she wasn't even going to kill you even if she met with the odds.
"U..Um... where are.. you taking me, Bishamon?"
The woman smiled graciously, and glanced over at you. "I'm taking you home." She muttered, earning a confused look to amend onto your features. "Home...? But this is my home, with Hiyori and Yato!"
Bishamonten suddenly deadpanned. "No, it's not. They're nothing to you." Her sharp tongue made you flinch. This wasn't the Bishamonten you had first met, this new persona of hers was truly scary.
The both of you eventually arrived at a large building that would compare to that of a temple. You looked astonished, and while you walked through the entrance, you were greeted by many people of different age. Bishamonten waved toward most of them with a gentle and appeasing smile. "Everyone, I brought someone very special to me today. Please treat her with the kindest of hearts."
She then escorted you once given the message, and took you to what looked to be a guest room. "You'll be staying in here from now on."
As you examined the room, your eyes came to a halt as soon as you spotted a cage centered on the surface. The more you stared, the more you grew heavily uneasy.
"I'll help you inside~."
You yelped as you were forced into the cage. With terrified eyes, you looked behind you and at the woman. "W..What the??! Aren't you going to let me go--"
"Home?" Bishamonten finished, closing the door behind her while lowering her eyelids. "We talked about this, [Y/N]."
She opened her eyes, revealing the malice and devoid lavendar cat eyes filled with discreet intentions.
"This... Is your home now."
"But.. I...-" Bishamonten stepped closer in your direction and tapped the bars. "Don't you understand? You belong to me now, it was set from the very moment I laid eyes on you."
Your heart pounded out of fear, and nervousness. "Bishamon ... I don't like this.. please, let me go!" You shouted, tugging violently against the thick rails. The woman in front of you looked rather surprised, as you abruptly began to helplessly shed tears.
Her hand extended behind herself, and onto the door knob. She smiled at you in awe, right before exiting.
"Bishamon, please!!"
You screamed dreadfully. Meanwhile, Bishamonten was seen slowly closing the door with an everlasting smile, which contained an unordinary motives. "Oh, by the way..."
"Bishamon!"
"Welcome to the family~."
