°Yandere! Yusei Fudo X Taciturn!Fem!Reader°

"Promise me we'll stay together forever,
[Y/N]."
You glared at the little boy's short pinkie finger, and reluctantly wrapped your own around his. The little boy in front of you subtly grinned, and bobbed your intertwined fingers.
"Don't break it!"
'I was only six years old. I didn't know any better.' You thought, brushing your teeth with a tired look. 'I'm sure that he's forgotten all about that promise ten years ago.'
You removed the toothbrush from your mouth and ducked, spitting out the majority of the foamy tooth paste from your mouth. And as you straightened to stare at yourself in the mirror, you faced with two lifeless [E/C] pearls. You were an apathetic and taciturn teenager disinterested in everything around you. You've always felt as though you belonged in the background; it was frankly -- your home.
After exiting the bathroom, you walked toward the door, on your way to school.
Upon your entrance, everyone stopped chattering and stared at you for a split second.
"Oh, it's just [L/N]. As I was saying..."
They proceeded to what they were doing, keeping you out of the picture. Of course you didn't care, and eventually did you walk to your seat. On your way there, you passed by an oddly familiar boy; one with tan skin, an average looking physique, black hair with gold highlights, and dark blue eyes.
Unnoticably, tension rised from him.
You materialized your desk after taking a seat, before hearing faint steps approach your area. As the shadow hovered over you, it caused your glance.
"Here." The boy spoke, a note landing on your desk by his hand. "Please, meet me here... It's-... It's really important."
You lifted the note with crossed eyebrows, and attempted to read it. The masculine young boy, however, cupped your hands together rather quickly. "D-Don't read it right now! Wait until I leave!" His touch caused you to pull your hands away out of instinct.
"Fine." You agreed, simply wanting for him to get out of your sight. The other pestering you with his eyes then smiled briefly, soon returning to his desk. And out of curiosity, you quickly read the note.
'Meet me underneath the large tree during lunch, I have something I'd like to share with you.'
-Yusei Fudo.
Ah yes, Yusei Fudo; a boy you've known since orphanage. You didn't interact with him at all during the time you both grew up together, so you pretty much considered him as a stranger.
Your memories from back then were quite hazy, and so you didn't remember much, only bits and pieces.
Lazily tucking strands of hair behind your ear, you laid the paper gently against the desk and readied for class, a little note didn't sidetrack you like it would for normal people.
As soon as Yusei sat down, he glanced toward you. He prevented another smile from overlapping his lips and examined you closely.
You looked so nonchalant and unapproachable, yet he found it alluring. The way you breathed, stared, moved -- he kept under close surveillance with his eyes. 'She still hasn't changed after all of these years... But that doesn't matter,
What matters is the note.'
[Time skip: Mid-Afternoon]
You nearly forgot that you had a meeting with Yusei. But still; you had took your time. Admiring the open scenery for a while, you distanced yourself to search for the tree Yusei was talking about.
After a bit of trial and error--you spotted him, waiting patiently.
With an easy approach, you held the letter in between your fingertips, and raised your eyes. "Hi, Fudo." You greeted, easily earning an smile out of awe from the young boy.
Yusei bowed. "You can just call me Yusei, [Y/N]." He straightened himself, his blue eyes staring into your lifeless [E/C] pearls. With a nod, you broke the brewing awkward atmosphere. "So.. What did you want to tell me?"
With an determined face, Yusei held up his pinkie finger. You watched him, rather unphased.
"What are you doing?.."
You then huffed as Yusei brought his hand closer toward your face. "Don't you remem-" He came to a brief interlude while feeling you slap his hand away.
"We're not orphans anymore, Yusei. Let's stop... holding onto the past." Those apathetic words of yours crumbled his spirit, while you were oblivious to what you had done.
The boy with blue eyes lowered his hand and clenched his fists, that stare he thought was so beautiful now piercing holes through him.
"Is that all? If so, I'm going to go eat lunch now."
With no hesitation you turned away, not even sparing him a glance. Eventually you reached your classroom and made it your decision to eat in there.
As you sat down, you removed your bento box from your bag and placed it lightly against the wooden surface. Occasionally, while enjoying your meal, you peered through the window's thin glass and over to Yusei, who now sat down in the finely-trimmed grass.
You wondered what was wrong with him, it wasn't like he was trying to confess his feelings,
Right?
[Time Skip: Late-Afternoon]
You joined the other students as they all replaced their indoor shoes with their outside ones. And after closing your miniature locker, you promptly adjusted your bag. "I don't have anywhere else to be today... so I guess I'll just go home and sleep early."
Without any concern, you parted from the school's facade and took a slow journey home. While doing so, you occasionally thought about what happened earlier between you and Yusei. "...Hm, he did look really sad. Perhaps I should apologize tomorrow?"
You unlocked your door and closed it behind you, taking off your shoes while doing so.
After taking a shower, you went to your fridge to cool your body temperature down. You poured yourself a nice cold glass of water and exhaled out of satisfactory after downing the liquid.
You then boiled some noodles for dinner, nothing too filling.
Eventually you found yourself in your bedroom, laying there on your bed. You tossed and turned, desperately searching for a comfortable position. And as soon as you sunk into your mattress, your eyelids grew heavy and you began to feel sudden drowsiness.
"[Y/N], my precious baby! I've missed you!"
Up ahead in the misty thick fog, you spotted two figures. One the left; an average heightened woman, who had almost the exact hair color as your own. And to the right; a man with a suit and tie who smiled at you lovingly. Subconsciously you approached them, and it hadn't struck you that you were shorter than your typical height.
Both figures crouched down, as you managed to run into their arms. Their touch was surprisingly warm, and you could feel their drops of tears run down your cheeks. You cupped your hands on both of their cheeks, taking in their features as much as you could.
'Are these... my parents?'
You felt them stroking your head, and closed your eyes. And as they leaned away from you, the woman you hoped to be your mother whispered lightly into your ear.
"It's time to wake up, [Y/N]."
Your eyes shot open only to have them meet with familiar blue ones. You blinked and stared at the face, slowly coming to recognize it. "Y..Yusei?"
Tears dripped from Yusei's eyes. You could only wonder how he had got in here, and why he was crying.
Your arms had felt undoubtedly tired, and you lowered them from his cheeks.
Wait, his cheeks?
Pieces started to put themselves together, like a puzzle. Quickly, you attempted to shove him away. However, his weight surpassed your strength. "G-Get off of me! Why are you in here??!"
Yusei still sat there speechless, feeling almost comforted when you placed your hands against his soft pinchable cheeks. He regained composure within the minute, and shook his head.
"..."
"You remember our promise, right?"
You tossed your legs, your head turning away from him in persistence to giving in.
Yusei leaned in closely, causing you to flinch. There was an abnormal emotionless look in his eyes, which ceased from his normal pearls. "Answer me."
You nodded, closing your eyes.
"When.. we were ... orphans.." You whispered, feeling him slither his hand around your neck. The boy in front of you nodded, his warmth completely shattered. "And guess what? You broke that promise."
Frankly, you expected him to choke you. But he didn't. Instead, he leaned down to gently kiss your lips, allowing you to feel the intensity of his infatuation with you.
While you were preoccupied by the uncomfortable kiss, Yusei wrapped one cuff around your wrist, and the other around his own. He then tossed the keys toward the corner of the room. It skidded, creating a faint jingling noise.
"But.. It's okay, because now we have something more."
Yusei leaned away once more, as it all became obvious that he had lost sight of himself.
"Our unbreakable bond."
