I felt his fingers dig into my cheek, the four blackened ovals that would remain and discolor my soft skin long after the blood had dried from my veins. The scream was stifled. I could hear him panting, the pleasure in his breath, like an animal in heat. He was not stealing but rather claiming what was to be rightfully his.
You may wonder how, (Y/N) (L/N), ended in this abounded house with a psychopath.
9 hours early.
"Let's go it'll be fun!" The boy was so blonde that the sun itself was jealous of him, he perused us into his risky plan.
"Chris, baka! What if it's haunted? I won't die without watching season 3 of 'Seventy Two Nee-san'!" Rem said folding her arms and narrowed her pitch black eye's on Chris, the sun boy.
"It's not! I promise I'll use my sunny shield to protect you." The boy had eyes of pure mischief, deep blue that drowns you into it's honesty.
"Umm, guys. What about me?" You said while looking back at them, voice quieter than before, less sure.
"Huh, you said something?" Rem twirled her fingers through her raven hair, smoothly silky hair.
You stepped back, unsure of your actions. Should you repeated what you said or leave them in a circle of confusion?
"I..I said wh-" Chris interrupted you by his loud mouth that made you flinch, "The sun is setting and we should be moving." He gripped Rem's tiny hands compared to his, he calls her hand 'baby hands' since his hands twice bigger than hers. "C'mon, (Y/N), no time to daydream." He added while walking away.
You was shy, not an introvert where you felt power in being alone. No, that wasn't it, you wanted to be around people, to connect with them, you just didn't know how. That, was the true definition of being shy.
You walked behind them, lost in your own thoughts. Chris, he found an abounded house and decided we should explore to it. He said our youth is special and we have to live wild before we age old, and our hair turns to grey. It wasn't a wise choice, there's lots of explanation what can go wrong.
1. Haunted place isn't fun, and games until a demon figure pops out of thin air, flies towards your way and burts out some words that'll haunt you. And, tries to take over your body and murders yo friend, which in the end they die.
2. A homeless person may living under the abounded roof, claims the place. See's us trespassing and God knows what they'll do to us. Attack us, threaten us or worse murdering us.
3. Having a dumb friends that will risk their life to death. Well, I'm gonna die Please when I die I want gravestone be written on it, "Less friends less death situation." They gonna push me to my edge of death.
I should not be on Kūmo Street. I knew it was wrong decision, but they were my only friends. I can hear back in my head my mother's voice, if they jumped over the bridge would you do the same? Her soothing voice will always calm my anxiety down, just one call it takes. Kūmp street was master piece, beauty that has no limit.Certainly there was nothing to remind one of Kūmo in the neat, rectilinear streets and the featureless, repetitive buildings.
"Remrem, once we're done with this exploring I'll buy you ramen. " Chris assured Rem, her tummy turned upside down and filled with guts. "And live once." He add with a chuckle that sounds like an innocent child.
I speeded towards them matching their pace, "We got no weapons to protect ourselves from the worst income." You said a hint of fear in your voice.
"Woman up, (Y/N)!" Chris said patting your back with big smile, that what would soldiers say before war. So, the death follows. I hanged my head low, and pulled my hood over to cover my face.
7 hours early
We stood front of the abounded house before us it looked filthy, crooked, and mostly terrifying vibe it gave away. The grim and gloomy building was the worst excuse for a house she'd ever seen, it was more like a a long-abandoned prison or insane asylum rather than a once glamorous house. The doors and windows were covered with a thick layer dust that looked like it has been untouched for years. The windows of the "house" looked back at her like the eyes of an empty soul, along with the grand door at the entryway to the "house" that seemed to give her the impression it was a gateway to hell.
(Y/N) body trembled even her bones wanted to leave her body and scatter way, yes she was purely terrified. She wasn't a wuss she was good girl who stayed out of trouble and never trespasses to an uncalling death. Chris dragged Rem towards the door, "Ladies first." He said in mischief tone, goosebumps rising.
"Mhm, let's go (Y/N)."
She dragged your arm you let out an audible squeal.
The door creaks open, Chris cringed at the sound it made, moving open a centimeter at a time. It could move faster, but the wood of the door has grown moldy. Once inside, a thick coating of dust and mold coats everything. "Yuck!" Rem blocked her nose from unfamiliar strange smell that filled the air. A shiver rushes down your spine. You can't tell what, but there is something unbelievably spooky about this place. Was it a wise choice to come here?
Each step you took the wooden floor makes a loud creek sound. If someone lived here she or he will wake up eventually of this non-stop sound. We looked like rats scattering around in need of food, but instead we're hungry for adventure. Well, I'm fed up with their bullshit. I sighed in defeat if I didn't went with them I'm probably in bed drifting to deep slumber 'cause that what I need.
6 hour early
"Each of us gonna split into one. I'll take west side, and Rem you go downstairs..." Chris gave rem a mega flash light that lasts long, "..(Y/N) you go upstairs." Chris said in calm tone, Rem didn't liked this idea neither I did, "OH, I'm gonna split you in half! I'm not-" Rem protested her opinion, but Chris walked away unfazed that not all Knights are charming.
I grab the rail with my free hand and we move up gingerly, The squeak did not surprise me but it was immediate and loud, if there was anyone upstairs they now knew i was here. I was met with dusty hall, cobwebs filled the hall. Dust lay over every surface like dirty snow, pristine dust layer, I passed by cracked windows and mouldy, browned wooden walls with water stains painting as scars upon skin.
And then there was a scream.
The scream tore through me like a great shard of glass. I felt my eyes widen and pulse quicken, my heart thudding fast. I quickly followed the scream, my eye's were searching for the blonde boy, Chris, legs were pounding furiously on the uneven wooden stairs. I reached down it was dark extremely dark I picked my flash and turned it on. I was lost. Where are they? Should I yell?
Another screamed roomed the house, it was deep. Sounded like Chris' scream. We're they both gone? Adrenaline surged through my veins, fight or flight, stand or run, be a hero or a coward. I didn't dared to move, I stood in the middle of no where.
I felt I was watched.
But, by whom? I wasn't alone now my heart beats of fear faster, adrenaline increasing every second like a thin ice. I stood there holding the flash, well, closely hugging it like it's my shield.
4 hours early
The door was locked or I'm trapped inside this abounded house. Wasn't sure which it was since I was too busy focused on my fear, they were louder. I found myself in a room, sitting on a cold wooden floor hugging my legs, my eyes are closed. I can't find my phone it dropped somewhere in the darkness as I was searching for a spot to mentally cry of adrenaline. Yes, I was fucking scared. Who ever luring around this house knows I'm here 'cause I can hear deep breathing every moment to quiet moment again. I know my mind wasn't playing games with me, this isn't hallucinating. I'm not hallucinating. Chris, Rem, no sign of them. Oh, did I mention the flash light ran of batteries? Well, it wasn't Rem's mega flash light that last long, it was cheap flash light. I had lost any sense of how long I'd been there, each second was an eternity praying of getting out of here. Maybe, maybe our parents sent a search team for us. I'm sure help is on the way. I have to stay positive.
1 hour early
I have to stay positive.
I have to survive.
I have to believe.
I have to-
Sniff, sniff.
A delicate flavour lingered in the air it filled the empty dark room, my tummy growled of hunger. I weakly stood up the wall behind me supported me as I leaned my back to it. There was a light wasn't bright, but was visible enough and lighted the house. I followed the light scared of what I'll meet. What if's starts to kick in. What if it's a sign from heaven's that I'm being rescued? I kept following the light taking slow steps making sure the floor doesn't make creaking sound. I walk into a kitchen as the door behinds me slams shot, cold shiver went down to my spine. There stood a boy, around my age.He held a wooden platter towards her. There was a piece of warm bread with a slab of melting yellow butter and a thick, hearty slice of what looked roasted pork? Probably meat? But, perhaps chicken? It looked defiantly meat.
"C-come dinne-r iz ready-y." The boy said in broken English, he seemed he never spoken the language before as if it's a strange flavour to his tongue.
He was taller than me by two inches, slim body, dark raven hair dusty messy and an caramel skin. But, he's eyes it frightened me, it was dark. The eyes held sanity. If I looked to deep into he's eyes he can see the fear of mine. I brought the fresh, warm bread to my nose, inhaling deeply. It smelled rich, promising a delightful taste. The moment I slide into my chair I'm served an enormous platter of food. Eggs, ham, piles of fried potatoes. He licked his fleshy lips and grabbed a handful chunk meat that I noticed before. He started to dig without a fork or spoon just his bare hands, he looked savage. A beast. A monster. But, the meat didn't looked as promising as it is.
"E-eat." He gave me a weirdly smile, it looked like he never tried to. He kept watching me, he's eye's stood the most. Terrifying. He's skin almost yellowish lack of sun. Overall he looked scary to look at.
His mouth was watering a little, I quickly became unsettled by how uncivilised the stranger seemed. "Where are they?" I asked him, making sure not to trigger any unwanted subject. He laughed. The laughter was childish and mischievous, I wondered if he knew how to speak at all, and questioned why I had entered his home so carelessly. I started to study him, he looked messy, asif he hadn't bathed in a while, this led me to notice a musky smell of dirt and mould around me. His hair look greasy. "Iz her'e." He said shoving a bowl of soup with chunky meat, I was confused. But, I damn well knew what he meant. Their remains was in this soup, everything around me paused. My body glued into this wooden chair, he let's out a sinister laugh, "Yooou! Iz fery p-pwetty." He stoop up and walked towards my place, I wanted to run but my whole body shut down. Adrenaline got the best of me. He's eye's gave me loving gaze love at first sight, but I see the darkness inside of it. He brought spoon close to my face forcing me to eat, I looked away rejecting his request which made him mad. I felt his fingers dig into my face, he's eye's threatened me in a cold stare.
"Y-you belung two me."
