I hope you all are enjoying this so far by the way now that we're getting this far, some of the chapters with the rivals will start be getting longer and will be split into multiple parts.

I hope you're all looking forward to what I have planned for this chapter and the upcoming next one.

sports festival week part 1

Walking towards School, Naruto could always see his Senpai girl and sadly she had to be walking right next to that man.

Yuto suzuki had to be the one walking her down to school instead of him and it only made Naruto's blood boil seeing Yuto in his school gender for me.

'what is he trying to do? Trying to impress her with his muscles!' Naruto thought angry.

Naruto cannot believe that this had happened, he took a deep breath and relax himself before heading towards them but keeping his distance so he could hear them.

"So there really is going to be a sports festival all this week?" Senpai ask, Yuto nodded his head.

"Yes, it's been planned by everyone in charge in PE, all the teachers agreed that it would be a good idea to help the students with extra training as is going to be a test on Friday on PE," Yuto explain as this week was definitely going to be something different.

"So how does the festival really work? I haven't known it was going to happen," senpai ask.

"Well the teachers were going to save it as a surprise but me and the other members of the sports club and the student council members had already known, we were all working together to get this started," Yuto finish.

"Well this sounds like it's going to be," senpai said as yuto smile.

"Oh it's going to be," Yuto said as they continue to walk to school.

By the time they all got there, Yuto had to go and leave Senpai alone.

She remain at her parents swapped at the fountain today, naruto was spying on her from a far until class begins.

When they all got to class, the teacher had an announcement to make.

"Students, for the next 5 days we will be having a 5-day sports festival at the school, you will all be expected to attend this festival in any of the activities, you'll be all that our class 2 hours early," the teacher explained as most of the students cheered.

"Calm down everyone, you may be getting out of class 2 hours early but that doesn't mean you all can goof around you have to attend the sports as the other teachers will be there and making sure you all attend as this is going to be part of your grade when a PE test is coming up on Friday to see how y'all do," the teacher explain and finish.

Class went on as usual, Naruto as he was writing down on the paper answering the questions on the sheet, naruto had realized that if this keeps happening he has to start training in order to keep up with these rivals as he was worried his luck might run out and he did not want that to happen.

This sports festival might be able to help him with starting up his training again.

Later during lunch time

Naruto would have love to spend lunch sitting close to his Senpai girl but he knew he had to take things seriously.

So he went to find Yuto, walking around the school he eventually found him.

He was cleaning the gym floor with a mop, it was a surprise as it was not cleaning time yet, walking over to him, "hey, Yuto what are you doing? it's not cleaning time yet?"

Yuto suzuki look at naruto with a calm look on his, "someone dropped their bottle that was filled with juice and left a dry stain, I'm just cleaning it up before everyone starts coming in here for practice."

"Oh that makes perfect sense, hey why not I get a towel and I'll help dry up the floor," Naruto OfferUp to help.

"It's all right, I have it taken care myself," Yuto said as he finishing up mopping the floor.

"Oh, all right then, hey there is something I want to ask you though, if it's all right can I join your club? I have been interested in starting training," naruto ask as he known that would help with his training.

Yuto suzuki nodded, "of course you can, anyone is allowed to join the gym club, but we're going to have to speak to the club later first he has to know that you want to join."

Naruto and Yuto both walk to the rest of the gym club members, all of them were eating lunch together that was right next to the gym.

Naruto and Yuto went up to the leader of the sports club who was Itachi Zametora.

"Hey! Yuto why did you bring this one here? He's not a member of the gym club?" Itachi ask sounding annoyed as he had no interest of letting anyone else to hear each side club members of his.

"This is Naruto uzumaki and he wants to join the gym club," Yuto said as Itachi shook his head.

"I have no interested of letting more team members in the gym club," Itachi said but Yuto was not going to let him just to say no.

"Now hold up remember the deal we have with our club members, you have to give anyone who wants to join a fair test to see if they're good enough to join," Yuto said as Itachi look annoyed but nodded.

"Fine! I forgot about that, look if you want to join the sports club you have to do something for each club member or prove to them that you should join, I'll see how you do good on the running track after cleaning time," Itachi explain before going back to his lunch.

"Well in that case Naruto uzumaki come with me," Yuto said as they went back to the gym club.

"Since that's the agreement me and the other club members are each going to give you something to do and with me I want you to tell me how many weights are in this equipment room?" Yuto asked as naruto look around and counted in his head.

"Only five small weights and a large big weight?" Naruto asked sounding surprise.

"Okay yeah it's not really much we have a completely other equipment room but we just put these here that we don't use, like the other one from the other side of the gym, somebody from the light music club two years ago had left one of their large music cases in and completely forgot about it, anyway great job you pass mine," Yuto said before leaving him alone.

Naruto went over to the other storage room, it was filled with other stuff from the other clubs, it was almost like a lost in found.

Finding the music case was easy as it was in the center and it was quite big, Naruto had noticed there was a key right on top of it.

It was the key to the music case and for how big it was it could fit a whole entire person's body inside of it.

"Hmmm? Maybe this could become useful later on," naruto said as he took the key with him.

Lunch time is over and class was back in

Back in the classroom taking a look at the key again before putting it in his book bag and going back to studying

When it was cleaning time

Naruto was keeping an eye on his senpai girl until he felt a tap on his shoulder.

Turning around he face one of the other gym club members.

He has messy, black, shiny hair that is swept back, except for two thick bangs on the side. Some of his hair is pulled back into a small ponytail secured by a dark purple hair tie. He wears dark purple swimming goggles and has lime green eyes.

His name of course was Mantaro Sashimasu, "hey I want to see you in the martial arts club, I have already got a chance to talk to the leader of that club for what I need help with with giving you a task."

Naruto was a bit annoyed because he had to leave his Senpai girl alone a bit early but one day they will always been together forever.

Naruto nodded his head before heading to the martial arts club.

The club leader Budo was already there, "welcome to the martial arts club, let's see how good you are at sparring."

Budo and Naruto got into the center of the room ready for a training sparring.

Budo had a weapon in his hand that was completely made out of plastic, "it's all right if you're a little bit nervous, I'll go easy on you."

Budo of course being nice as he was about to hit Naruto with his weapon, Naruto got it and before he can land a punch on Budo, the club leader quickly dodge his attack.

Trying again to hit Naruto with the weapon and only this time it did as it was clear Budo was not going to go easy on him but Naruto all he could think about what would happen if he lose this.

He needs every possibility he has in order to get his Senpai girl and to get rid of Yuto and he could not lose this.

His heart and lungs started to go faster pumping blood, when he was about to get another hit by the weapon he quickly grabbed and this time he gave Budo A hard Punch and a kick makes him drop the weapon.

Budo smile, "fantastic, you're more of a quick learner than I thought."

Mantaro smile, "great job naruto," They all left to finish up cleaning time.

By the time for the next test

Itachi and the other members were waiting for him as they were all in their gym uniform.

White T-shirt and blue shorts.

Itachi with his arms cross, "all right I want you to do 10 laps back and forth and try not to slow down as I will be timing you."

Naruto nodded as he took a deep breath and when the timer starts, Naruto went running.

Back and forth for each lap, he couldn't help but slow down every around every two laps and only got more exhausted but he couldn't stop himself from keep running.

When he was finally done, Itachi look at him, "well you're clearly not that up to our skill but if you can keep up with the rest of us and do not disappoint I'm sure you can improve, all right I'll let you in if you can do the other three team members task first."

Looking at the last two team members that Naruto needs to win over before he can actually join the gym club.

Hojiro Zameshiro, Iruka Dorufino and Unagi Denkashiza.

"They will decide what we will do tomorrow before right now we all have to get ready for the sports festival activities," Itachi explain as he went and the other club members walk away except for.

Yuto who came over to Naruto, "got to say you're doing great, just to let you know though Unagi Denkashiza was a formal delinquent before he came into our club."

After that the sports festival started.

Naruto and the other students all competed in different activities until it was time to go home.

Back at home

Naruto was in his room on his phone looking up different ideas, it was interesting what he was seeing.

He was looking ways to how to get someone into a case, he already knew Yuto was more stronger so that might be proven to be a challenge for him.

But there could always be something else he could do.
