Chapter 19: A Warning
A/N: After an incident in Chan's place, you got to pay Sam a visit to let him know something very important.
(Couldn't find an image to properly represent this chapter).
Lando was standing outside with Jason as the two of them were waiting for both You and Austin to finally show up.
Lando: Man, it should take much longer.
Jason: Yeah, took almost three months but it's finally here.
Lando just gave a side eye glance at him in response to the comment as two continued to stand and wait. After a little while, You and Austin soon arrived.
Lando: There you guys are.
(Y/N): Yeah, We're still kinda overwhelmed about the news Grian gave us.
Jason: What did he tell you guys?
Austin: We'll talk about that later. Did anything else happen while we were on our way here?
Jason: Nope. Nothing else really seemed to have happened after this person climbed into the window.
Austin: Well that's good, at least sort of, anyways.
(Y/N): Which one of the windows did this person climb into?
Jason: Well, I don't know what rooms of the house each of these windows lead to except for maybe the front ones, but I saw them enter through one of the smaller windows at the side of the house.
Austin: What about their appearance? Were you able to get a good look at them while they were trying to get inside?
Jason: Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get a good look at them when they were trying to get through the window. The only sight I got of them was of their body from behind and they appeared to have been wearing a hood and casual pants.
(Y/N): So not even a slip of their hair poking out of the hood to give at least one hint on who they could be.
Jason: Nope, not a single one. Pretty much the majority of their body was covered. Whoever they were, it definitely seemed like they didn't want to be seen by anyone.
Austin: Well shit.....
(Y/N): Well, what about Chan? Does she know about all of this yet?
Lando: We tried knocking on her door, but we didn't get a single answer. We even tried yelling her name, still no reply.
Jason: And just to be really sure that she wasn't in a deep sleep or something, I chucked a few small pebbles at the window that I assumed was Chan's room. Still got no response.
(Y/N): Great, so someone snuck inside Chan's house and she's not even there.
Austin squinted his eyes a bit as his suspicions from yesterday is feeling more prominent.
(Y/N): Well.... did you try calling her to try and tell her?
Lando: Yep, she didn't pick up at all.
Jason: I don't even have her number.
(Y/N): Well uh...... did you try calling her again?
Lando: I tried to call her over 4 times, and she still didn't pick up any of them.
(Y/N): She didn't pick up from any of the calls? Odd, I'd thought she would have at least picked up after the 2nd or 3rd call. Let me try to call her.
You said before pulling out your phone.
Jason: What would be so different if you try to call her?
(Y/N): I mean, not to sound rude or anything but........ has Chan really had much of interactions with you..... or really even know who either of you are?
Lando: Wooooooow.......
Jason: But at the same time, he does make a good point.
He said as you began to dial Chan's number. After typing, you merely waited for Chan to pick up, but after a few seconds, you were met with a message.
Chan's message: Hello, to anyone who's calling, I'm sorry I can't pick up the phone right now. I'm either not home right now, busy with a personal matter that needs my attention or something else. Please leave a message and I'll answer back as soon as I can.
Lando: Pretty much the same thing I was given four times I tried to call.
Austin: She mentioned something about dealing with "personal matters" when she needed to be excused from Gym class yesterday. Whatever she seems to be dealing with must be so intense if she just straight up ignores all of Lando's calls and (Y/N)'s.
(Y/N): Look, She'll probably be back tomorrow. We can just tell her what happened whenever she gets back. But for right now, we just need to figure out this issue right now.
Jason: How do we go about it though? Chan's not here and all of her doors locked and we aren't even sure how this person managed to get in through the window, so I don't see what this person might have been doing around her place.
(Y/N): Not really sure honestly. I'd want to go in there and catch whoever it is. But at the same time, I'm also not really comfortable with breaking and entering into Chan's house. Especially if we end up getting caught. First the stalkers and... other stuff, and now this. This is becoming one big cluster fuck.
Lando: Calling the police won't do much good either. Paul will hardly do any sort of observation and will leave as quickly as he'll show up.
Austin: So..... Do we just leave this here and hope that Chan will come back in time and cause this person to run off or something?
Jason: Even if she does get back, this person might get away before she even gets back.
You thought about it for a moment, contemplating on how to go about this situation. You didn't want to go and break into Chan's house, but on the other hand, you also didn't want to just leave Chan's place while someone's in there, possibly to steal her stuff or even.... attack her when she gets back. After a lot of thinking, you soon spoke again.
(Y/N): As much as I don't like the idea, we might need to try and get into Chan's house and draw this person out.
Austin: Wait, seriously?
(Y/N): We can't just leave, knowing someone's inside Chan's house. Plus, we take care of them, it'll give us one less problem to worry about.
Jason: Hmmmm, he does make a good point. All of the stuff with the yandere is already enough of a handful. Last thing we need is another person breaking into people's homes for god knows what reason.
Lando: Okay... but how do we intend on getting inside? All of the doors are locked and I doubt any of us know how to open up a closed window.
Austin: Well, as much I'd like to not do this, I might have something that could take care of that.
(Y/N): What do you mean?
Austin soon pulled out something from his pocket. It was a hair pen.
Lando: A Hair pen?
Austin: Yep.
Austin said before he started walking to the back of the house, you and the other two followed behind him. Once he reached the back door, he started to pick at the lock of it, trying to get the door unlocked
Lando: Look, Austin, I'm not here to question your way of doing things, but I honestly don't think this old trick you're trying is seriously going to.....
After a little while of picking, the door was finally unlocked and Austin opened it up.
Lando:..... Forget I said anything.
He said as the four of you soon entered inside Chan's home, with Jason closing the door behind him after you all were in. The four of you walked through her house, being careful to not bump into anything in there and possibly breaking them.
(Y/N): Okay, let's try to find this person as soon as we can. We don't want Chan, or anyone for that matter, knowing that we were in here.
You whispered to the others.
Jason: How do we go about trying to catch this person?
Austin: We should probably split into different rooms. If we all look in one room at once, they'll likely slip away.
Lando: Good idea, but we should consider the fact that this person might be packing a weapon on them.
(Y/N): Maybe two groups of two just to be on the safe side.
Jason: Sounds good to me. If someone tries to jump out and stab me, Lando can jump in the way to take the shot for me, and then I can tackle them.
Lando: What makes you think I'm just gonna jump in the way to take it?
He said as he squinted his eyes, causing Jason to go silent for a moment.
Lando: If you put me in the crossfire, I promise I'll haunt your ass for the rest of your life.
Jason: Oh please, you know I'm just kidding.
Lando: Not exactly a good time to be doing that in this current situation!
Jason: I'm just trying to ease the likely tension in this!
Lando: Now is not the best time to be doing that!
You and Austin both sighed as the two yelled at each other in the form of a whisper yell.
(Y/N): Look, me and Austin will check Chan's room and see if the person's likely in there. You guys take one of the other rooms.
You said before you and Austin headed up to Chan's room while Jason and Lando decided to check around near the kitchen and laundry rooms. You went to one of the other rooms on that floor of the house while Austin decided to go ahead inside of Chan's room to have a quick look around. As he looked around the room, he knew that it wasn't exactly the biggest room in the house. But it still wouldn't hurt to look. Austin then kneeled down to check to see if there was anyone under the bed. Not too much of a surprise, there wasn't anyone under there.
Austin: Definitely not under the bed.
He said as he stood back up. As he did, he took notice of a book that was sitting on a desk. He approached it before stopping and looking around for a moment, making sure You weren't there yet. After looking, he turned his attention back to the book before picking it up and opening it. And after reading a couple of the words, he soon found out what the book was.
Austin: This is Chan's journal.
He looked around again before turning his attention back again to the journal.
Austin's mind: I know I really shouldn't be reading this, but something just doesn't seem right about this "personal matter".
He said before he started reading parts of the jorunal that had anything to do with both during and after Chan's arrival to Buraza town. He read through certain pages for a while and started to learn a few things. But before he could read any more of it, he could hear you starting to approach the room. He quickly closed the book, set it back on the desk and stepped away from it as if he hadn't gone near it at all, just before you entered the room.
(Y/N): Find anything in here?
Austin: Um... nope. Not too much in here. Though, I only checked under the bed so far. How about you?
(Y/N): Nah, I haven't had much luck either. And to be fairly honest, I can't believe I actually decided on breaking into Chan's house and looking around inside of it while she's not here. I feel like I'm stooping to Sam's level now.
Austin: Well, let's try to compare what we're doing right now to what Sam does. Yes, we've broken into someone's house, but we're doing it to draw out someone who might be trying to rob her home. Where as Sam broke into Gareth's place, while he was still there, and would go on to accuse him of murder.
(Y/N): Yeah, but still, it just feels wrong having to do this.
Austin: Well, in a town with an incompetent cop, sometimes you have to take matters into your own hands.
(Y/N): Maybe.... I guess. Well, since you already checked the bottom of the bed, guess that just leaves one spot that they could probably be hiding at in here.
You said before the two of you turned your attention to the closet. You started to approach it slowly, be ready just in case someone might jump out. Austin moved to the side to be out of sight of the possible person, ready to jump them if they try anything. After a moment of hesitation, you opened the closet door, only to find that it was empty, causing you to give a light sigh of relief.
(Y/N): Well, guess we know they're not in here either.
You said before closing the closet door and the two of you left the room, heading to the one closest to it. Meanwhile, Lando and Jason were looking around the kitchen and laundry room while also watching each other's back.
Jason: Anything on your end?
Lando: Nope, not much over here. How are things on your end?
Jason: No dice here.
Lando: Are we sure this person you saw is even still here?
Jason: I circled around this house several times before you even showed up. I would have at least either seen them getting out or running off.
Lando: Well it really doesn't seem like they're here.
Jason: We'll find them, there's only so few places a person is physically capable of hiding at.
Lando: Somehow I'm not too confident in that.
Lando said as he entered the bathroom to have a quick look around in there. He looked around the room, not really expecting to find anyone hiding in there.
Lando: Just as much as I expected; nothing.
Lando walked over to a closet that was in the bathroom, about to open it up, until a light sound came from the basket that was in the room. He turned around and slowly started approaching it. He stopped in front of it and slowly started opening the lid. After opening it all the way, he was met with a small mouse quickly jumping out and running away, much to his annoyance.
Lando: Yeah, cause that hasn't been done to death before.
Suddenly, the closet door behind him burst open, someone rushed forward, slamming against Lando before quickly running out of the bathroom.
Lando: Ugh, what the hell?!
Jason, hearing the noise, walked to the direction of it. But he was quickly met with the person who bolted out from the bathroom running into him.
Jason: What the?
He grunted and looked up at the person.
Jason: You!
Hearing the noise, You and Austin rushed downstairs to find Jason face to face with the hooded person.
Jason: Look, I don't know who you are, but you made a big mistake trying to.....
The hooded person suddenly managed to jump over Jason and attempted to make their way to the door.
Jason: Wait, what? 0_0
Austin quickly bolted to them, trying to stop them from getting away. However, The person turned around and landed a swift kick, knocking Austin back into Jason.
Jason: Ah! This person's got a nasty kick on them!
They opened the door and ran as fast as they could from the house.
Jason: Yeah, probably should have thought to lock the door back after we walked in.
Austin: Seriously not the time, Jason!
Jason: When is it ever the time?
(Y/N): We gotta catch up with them! Come on!
You said before running out the door. The three of them followed behind you, with Jason closing the door back after you were all out. You ran as fast as you could to try and catch up to the hooded person, but they were very fast on their feet. They weren't easily breaking away from you, but you certainly weren't having much luck in trying to catch them.
Lando: It's like chasing a cheetah on two legs!
Lando said before Jason picked up the lid of a trash can while passing by it.
Jason: This should slow them down!
He yelled before slinging the lid toward the person, but it didn't get far and just flew in a separate direction.
Austin: Oh nice throw, Captain America!
Jason: I'm trying, alright!
The chase continued for a little while, but it eventually came to an end after the person had managed to get further ahead of you all and hid themselves out of sight. By the time you reached the location where they hid, you found it to be a much bigger area. Looking around the area would probably not be much help.
(Y/N): Damn it! Where the hell did they go?!
Lando: Crafty bastard or bitch managed to give us the slip! They could be anywhere around here!
Austin: Not to mention that with all this much wider space here, they have a better chance at moving around and getting the slip on us and we'll not even notice it.
(Y/N): Shit.....
You looked around the area in frustration.
Lando: We're not gonna be able to find them around here. This pretty much puts a stop to this whole shit show.
He said as he scratched the back of his head while sighing. You let out a sigh of your own, though in a much more frustrated and aggravated state.
(Y/N): Yeah, unfortunately. How the hell were they so fast?
Jason: If I were a betting man, when this person isn't robbing a house, they like to do a lot of jogging.
Lando: In this crappy small town? Doubt it. There would have at least been a notice to one person just jogging around town several times a day.
Jason: Maybe they're a nighttime jogger.
Austin: Forget it, let's just head back to Chan's place and lock it back up.
(Y/N):.... Fine.....
You said before the four of you quickly made your way back to Chan's home. The first thing you did after coming back there was closing and locking all of her windows to make sure no one tries to climb in through any of them like before. After all that was done, Austin relocked the door and the four of you walked away from Chan's house while also making sure the other neighbors around the area didn't see anything.
Lando: Well, this has certainly been something.
Austin: Yeah, that's one way of putting it.
(Y/N): Let's just go home. There's not much that we can do here. I still feel shitty even having entered Chan's home while she was gone. But I can't ever tell her about this, who knows how she'll react. We'll need to keep this a secret. The only other people that we'll probably need to tell are the others and that's ONLY when we're meeting in one of our places.
Jason: My lips are sealed. Not a word will be uttered.
Lando: But what about Chan's place? What if that person comes back again?
Jason: Just leave that all to me. I can keep occasional look outs just in case this person ever comes back, and if they do, I'll be quick to let you guys know about it. Though we'll probably have to figure out a different way of taking care of it.
Austin: We'll think of something when we get to that.
Lando: I'm fine with that then I guess. But if we have to do this again, let's make sure we catch this person before they try to make a break for it again.
With that, You all parted ways, Lando and Jason heading back to their homes respectively while You and Austin were seemingly heading on your way to your home, however, Austin was quick to speak when it seemed like the two of you weren't actually heading in the direction of your house.
Austin: So I take it we're not actually going home then?
(Y/N): No, after what Grian told us, I think we need to have another little talk with Sam over this.
Austin: What about Paul Blart? After all, he was the one who opened his mouth.
(Y/N): Trust me, if I ever see him again, cop or not, I'm kicking that fat fuck square in the bean bags.
You said as you balled your hands into a fist just a bit. The two of you made your way to the train station. Once there, you paid for the tickets and got onto the train.
Austin: So, is this going to be something that'll take up the rest of the day sort of thing or...?
(Y/N): No, I'm only going by to let Sam know that we're aware of what's happening now and making something perfectly clear to him.
After that, the train eventually took off to the part of town where Sam and the boys were living.
(Timeskip).
After a while long train ride, the two of you finally made it and got off the train, making your way to the apartment the boys were at. You were glaring the entire way there. As the two of you entered the apartment building, you were greeted by the landlord, Green.
Green: Well hello there, Gentlemen. And what brings you here?
Austin: We're here to see Sam.
Green: Well, sorry to disappoint you boys, but Sam isn't here at the moment.
Austin: Did I say Sam? I meant Samantha. -_-
Green: Oh Samantha. Well, she's just up......
(Y/N): We know where she is.
You said as the both of you soon headed up the stairs to where Sam's room was. After making it to the door, you knocked on it.
(Y/N): Sam, open up!
Grian: Oh no....
Grian said as you could hear their voices through the door.
Sam: Oh uh...... Sam's not here. It's just Samantha. You'll have to come back later.
(Y/N): Sam, open the damn door or you're gonna become a girl once I'm done with you!
After a moment of silence and hesitation, Sam soon opened up the door for the both of you.
Sam: Oh.. H... Hey, (Y/N), what brings you here?
(Y/N): Save it! We have a little something to discuss!
You said before the both of you walked past Sam and entered the room.
Taurtis: Hey guys, what are you doing here?
Grian: I'm just going to stand on the sidelines here while you have this conversation.
He said before backing away from Sam and Taurtis.
Taurtis: Look, if this is about our disguises, We'd love to take them off, me especially, but uh....... you see.....
(Y/N): We're not here about your terrible disguises, in spite of how much more horrid and disrespectful Sam's is.
Sam: What? How is my disguise disrespectful compared to Taurtis' disguise?!
Grian & Taurtis: Gee, I wonder why. >_>
The two boys said while turning their heads to Sam and giving slight glares.
(Y/N): The reason we're here is because of something else.
Sam: Then what is it?
(Y/N): Well Sam, remember that man who showed up at school during gym today?
Taurtis: Uh.........
Sam: G... Guy... what Gu...?
(Y/N): SAM!
You yelled at Sam, with a clear tone of anger in your voice.
Sam: Okay, okay! I got it! I remember him! But..... What do you want to talk about him for?
(Y/N): Well, for one thing, we just heard that this particular person is said to be from the Yakuza. But not just him, the drug dealer apparently just so happened to be from the Yakuza as well.
Sam and Taurtis immediately froze up after hearing this.
(Y/N): And just to add onto that, apparently Paul Blart was the one who tipped off the Yakuza about all who was involved with the drug bust that night and now they're going after all that were seemingly involved with said drug bust that night.
Taurtis: Whaaaaaaat? That's crazy talk.
Sam: Y... Yeah, and even if something like that was even true, where did you guys possibly get that kind of information from?
Austin: Let's just say a little birdie gave us a heads up about it.
Grian gave a light sigh, thankful that they didn't outright say it was him, knowing that he'd get the complaint from Sam and Taurtis for telling the two.
Sam: W... Well you guys might have just been misinformed.
(Y/N): Sam!
You yelled again, starting to ball your hands into a fist as you were close to getting physical with him.
Sam: Okay, okay, so.... maybe the Yakuza might be after us for the drug bust. BUUUUUUT to be fair, they only seem to know our names, so they don't appear to know what we look like. Plus, they're looking for "Sam and Taurtis". As long as we're able to fool them with our "Samantha and Taurissa" disguises, they'll never be able to find us out.
Austin: That still leaves (Y/N), Me and Grian as targets for them aside from possibly Sookie and Okami as well!
Taurtis: Weeeell, it is kind of on you guys for following us before and trying to stop it yourselves before Paul, Okami and Sookie showed up.
(Y/N): The only reason we did that was so that we could try and fix a problem that you two idiots ended up creating in the first place!
Taurtis: That wasn't caused by us!
Austin: You two idiots were the ones attempting to sell drugs after that drug dealer gave you them!
Sam: We didn't know that what he was selling to us were drugs! We just thought that he gave us sugar and candy!
Grian: It should have been obvious from the fact that he was literally a man in a suit asking two teenage boys to follow him into an alleyway.
Sam: He was very convincing!
(Y/N): There wasn't anything in that man's voice that remotely sounded convincing! He didn't even sound like he was trying not to sound suspicious! You two were just neive idiots! And it's that stupidity that's now putting all of us in danger!
Sam: Alright we get it! We messed up when we got involved with that guy! But yelling at us isn't going to change this!
(Y/N): Oh no, Sam. We didn't just come here to simply yell at you.
Sam: Wait, really?
(Y/N): Yeah, because I came here to give you a warning.
Sam: A warning?
(Y/N): Yes. If they find us, we'll tell them who you are.
Sam: What?! Y.... You wouldn't dare!
(Y/N): Oh, I would. Because knowing you, if you got caught, you would try to drag us down with you as well just so you aren't the only one receiving the punishment! So, let me make this perfectly clear to you....
You said before grabbing Sam by the shirt and pulling him close to you before speaking again.
(Y/N): If the Yakuza end up finding me and Austin, we WILL rat you and Taurtis out! This problem was all started by the two of you getting involved with that drug dealer, and the both of you will face the results of it! This is one problem you're not just simply going to be walking out of!
You said while giving a threatening glare to Sam, leaving him, Taurtis and even Grian silent the entire time.
(Y/N): Let's go, Austin. We're done here.
You said as you let go of Sam's shirt before leaving the room with Austin, and the apartment as well. For a little while, the both of you were mostly silent during your walk, at least until you finally decided to speak again.
(Y/N): Think I might have gotten a little too angry during that conversation.
Austin: Um...... nope, I think that was the proper way of going about that given our current situation.
(Y/N): Only thing now is how to go about our Yakuza problem. They'll be hunting us down until they finally catch us.
Austin: Any ideas that you might have had in mind?
(Y/N): Not really. At least not for a problem as big as this.
Austin: I'm pretty much drawing a blank here too. But knowing someone as dangerous as them is possibly coming after us is blocking out my mind a bit. It especially doesn't help that your parents will probably become targets as well whenever they're present at home.
You quickly widened your eyes after hearing Austin mention your parents.
(Y/N): Oh god. I actually never considered that! Fuck!
You yelled in a light panic.
Austin: Relax, now's not the time to freak out. I know how bad it will be if they ever attempt to go after them as well, but let's at least try to consider what Sam mentioned earlier. The only thing about us that they appear to know about us is just our names. They don't seem to be aware of either our appearance or even our addresses. So, with that lack of knowledge, it could take them a long time before they ever figure out who we are, if they'll ever eventually figure it out.
(Y/N): But this is the Yakuza we're talking about. They're resourceful, they've got men on the inside and out that could provide them some information. And considering Paul Blart is a blabbermouth, who knows what else he'll say that they'll find out about.
Austin: I mean yes, it's true that the Yakuza have their ways in getting information, but to be fair, it seems like they weren't aware of our names until Paul finally opened his big mouth. So if they had any trouble trying to figure out our names, maybe they'll have just as much trouble with any further information...... just as long as no one else opens their mouth.
(Y/N): I appreciate the optimism, but I'm highly doubtful someone as big as them would have trouble trying to figure out what we look like and where we live. And if Paul Blart opened his mouth before, he's more than likely to do it again.
You said as the both of you reached the train station.
Austin: Well, I'm still wanting to hold out some sort of hope that this Yakuza problem will blow over, even if it's just pipe dreaming.
You let out a frustrated sigh before speaking again in a normal tone.
(Y/N): Let's just get home. There's been enough bullshit for today to where I can say that I think we've been out long enough.
Austin: Sounds good to me. We still gotta work on our cosplay assignment anyways.
He said as the two of you entered the train station and got your tickets before getting on the train before it took off back home.
(Timeskip).
You and Austin were in the middle of working on your respected cosplay assignments. You both got surprisingly far with them, but it was still anything but easy, especially when it came to getting certain things to come out properly.
(Y/N): Just out of curiosity, how exactly do you expect to pull off the cosplay idea that you have? I get that you're a huge kaiju fan, but it's not exactly very easy to make those kinds of suits, much less walk around in them properly.
Austin: I'll find a way to work around it. Even if it's not what I had originally intended it to be.
(Y/N): What if Okami thinks it's a bit much?
Austin: Well, that's just her own fault for not being very specific on what our cosplay needs and how far we can go with it.
(Y/N): Fair point, I suppose.
Austin: Who do you have as an intended cosplay?
(Y/N): It's not much. I figured I could try going for (F/F/C) this time around.
((F/F/C) meaning favorite fictional character).
Austin: Not a bad choice. Seems a lot more simpler than with what I'm going with.
(Y/N): It really depends on how well I can get it done properly.
Austin: You're certainly doing a lot better than how I'm doing.
(Y/N): Eh.... maybe.
You said to yourself as the two of you continued with your cosplays. You continued working on them for hours, with some occasional breaks during the time. After a couple of hours, your parents soon came home to find you both working on your projects.
(Y/M/N): Oh, hey you two.
(Y/N): Hey mom.
(Y/D/N): What are you guys working on?
Austin: It's a homework project, basically we're having to do a cosplay of a character for some sort of contest.
(Y/D/N): Oh, so it's sort of like a multiple night sort of project.
Austin: Nope, just for this night.
(Y/D/N): Eh wha?
(Y/N): Yeah, Okami usually has us finish the homework in one night. This seems to not be the exception.
(Y/M/N): Did you try explaining to her that it would probably take longer than just one night.
(Y/N): Trust me, she would simply consider this as a means of improving our skills by trying to get something done in one night as opposed to several.
(Y/M/N): Still seems a bit much.
Austin: Yeah, but we still do it if it means getting through the year.
(Y/D/N): Well, do you boys need any help? I know we just got back, but we can still lend a hand.
(Y/N): No, we're good. It really shouldn't take much longer with this anyways.
(Y/M/N): You sure?
(Y/N): Yeah, we got this. We just need to get a couple touches on these and they should be all good.
(Y/M/N): Well, alright. But if you're stuck on something, don't hesitate to ask us for help.
(Y/N): Will do.
You said as the two of them walked by and went to put their own stuff down while You and Austin continued on finishing your cosplay. During this, You started speaking with Austin, in a whisper.
(Y/N): I just feel terrible about all of this. They could end up being involved with a dangerous group, and it'll be part of the blame for it.
Austin: Don't beat yourself up over it. Remember, they don't know about what we look like and where we live.
(Y/N): But what about my parents? They'll know about their last names and trace them back to me. Not to mention that there's that stalker who seems to be aware of them since they mentioned the drug dealer in their last call.
Austin: I know, and that's certainly the concerning part in all of this. We just need to think of something.
(Y/N): Look, it's pretty much inevitable at this point. They'll find us and we'll be kissing our asses goodbye.
Austin sat there and thought to himself about what to do. During the time, his mind was drawing a blank and it seemed like he couldn't think of anything that could help. However, just when it seemed he was about to give up, something clicked in his head.
Austin: Wait, what about this?
(Y/N): Huh?
Austin: So, we know that Paul opened his mouth about all who was involved in the drug bust, right?
(Y/N): Yes, I think that's been established a lot today.
Austin: Well, if Silly and Okami are seemingly being eyed by them as well, then maybe we can talk to them about this and we get some help from them and Rowan. I mean, they are part of a swat team. And the assistance from them could probably cause the Yakuza to back off.
(Y/N): Hmmm, that is true. Even the Yakuza knows that there are limits on who they would want to mess with. Plus, Rowan showed that he clearly didn't like that guy from earlier, so the idea of someone possibly going after his wife and daughter would really get him raging.
Austin: Plus, to be on the safer side, we could also approach Ghost and.... ask him if we could borrow some of the weapons in his home to help us defend ourselves whenever we're out of the house.
(Y/N): Okay, well now I think maybe we need to slow down a little bit on that one now.
Austin: Alright, alright, but I still think it's something to consider. I just want something to help us out in case any of those bastards show up at all.
(Y/N): I know. I don't want to have to use a gun unless the moment really comes to where I'll need to use it.
Austin: Well that's fine. Hopefully that moment won't need to come.
(Y/N): Yeah.... same here.
You said as you looked out the window next to you, thinking of the events that are possibly going to occur after that moment.
A/N: there's only a sliver of hope that things will be fine.
