Salem was one of the most mysterious and the most dangerous beings known to all of Remnant. Not many people knew who she was or where she had come from. But what some did know about her was that she was the one responsible for the appearance of all the grimm in remnant. She was a cold and cruel person, not showing little to any caring it sympathy for anyone else, especially to her own followers when they fail at any of their tasks. But despite her notorious history, she only had a single care and compassion for one being in her life.

Salem: you are indeed a very special child. Such innocence......such power.

The being that she had the care for was named (Y/N). You were an orphan around the age of 10 when your parents were killed by white fang members. One of them even tried to kill you. But that became a big mistake for him and the rest of the team of white fang members who were there. When you were under stress or anger, you would unleash a power you didn't even know about. When you did, it reduced the whole team of white fang to ashes. Days after that, you were forced to live on your own and try to survive, which was hard since after you released your power, the Atlas army had gotten readings on it and were now on the hunt for you so they could study you and know how you worked. You didn't want that and kept away from them as much as possible.

Salem soon caught news about your power and soon began to watch you as you were desperately running from the soldiers day after day. While she would've been more concerned about the power they would've had if they caught you. But she showed more concerned that they were going to study on a child.

Salem: humans, such despicable creatures. Chasing down and frightening this innocent child non stop for his power. These soldiers will be punched!

She said as multiple grim headed to the direction where you and a team of soldiers currently were. Speaking of which, you were currently backed up into a corner by the soldiers as they had their guns pointed at you while getting closer.

(Y/N): g.......go away.....j.......just leave me alone!!!

Soldier: keep still or we will be forced to shoot!

They moved in closer to you and you were nearly about to lose it and unleash your power on them. But one of them quickly fired a shock on your body which knocked you out.

Soldier: alright, now let's get him back to base and......

As he spoke, a growling noise was heard. They all looked up and saw a large pack of Beowolves appear.

Soldier: oh shit! Call for.....

Before he could tell them to call for back up, one of the Beowolves jumped on him and mauled him to death as the other ones attacked the rest of the soldiers. As the soldiers were being torn apart, one of the Beowolves lifted you up by the back of your shirt with it's teeth and carried you away.

(TimeSkip).

You had slowly started to wake up after a while and when you did, you saw that you were in a red and black colored bed.

(Y/N): h.......huh.

You were starting to get nervous.

(Y/N): w......where am I?

Salem: you're within my home.

You looked up and saw Salem standing there.

(Y/N): ;-;

Salem: please, do not be afraid of me child.

(Y/N): d......don't hurt me.

Salem: I'm not here to harm you, child.

She walked up and sat on the bed near you.

Salem: I only wish to help you.

(Y/N): r....really?

Salem: yes. I saw what those soldiers were doing. It was awful to see them chasing after a small child.

(Y/N): y.....yeah. it's all because of this power I have that they went after me.

Salem: indeed. Humans seem to only care about Gaining more power rather than others.

(Y/N): I just wish I could change the world and finally put an end to this. And maybe people won't lose families........like I did.

Salem: what if I told you that you could.

(Y/N): huh?

Salem: if you stay here with me, I can help you to control your power and with it, you can do away to all who've done you wrong.

(Y/N): r.......really?

Salem: yes. That is what you desire....is it not?

(Y/N): y...yes.....

Salem: is it a deal?

(Y/N): yes.

You said as she smiled down at you. You responded by giving her a hug to which made her blush and slowly hug you back.

Salem: I'll take good care of you. And I'll teach you everything you need to know.

(Y/N): thank you.

She smiled and continued to hold you in her arms. And after that day, you would grow up, having learned everything from her and after learning how to control your powers, you took down any army that stood in your way as well as the white fang. Then afterwards, all of Remnant was ruled by Salem and you as mother and son.
