Even as Hidimva the Rakshasi had been talking to Bheema, she suddenly sensed that her brother was prowling through the forest, and he was coming straight towards them.

Hidimva the Rakshasi turned desperately to Bheema. "My brother is coming towards this place. I am a Rakshasi and I am very powerful and well-versed in magic. I am completely capable of carrying you all through the skies far away from my brother. Wake up your brothers, and your mother and I will take all of you to safety."

Bheema shook his head. "As long as I am here, nothing can happen to my brothers or my mother. There is no Rakshasa who can defeat me."

Hidimva, the chief of the Rakshasas, heard the last words of Bheema.

Then Hidimva the Rakshasa saw that his sister was now in a human form and she looked beautiful.

Hidimva was even more shocked as he realized that his sister had obviously been planning to keep the humans safe from him and that was the reason that she had changed her appearance to favour the human in front of her.

Hidimva, the Rakshasa, furiously came forward, studying his sister. "Are you ready to sacrifice the good name and honour of all Rakshasas, who are your ancestors? You are willing to help these humans instead of helping me. For this alone I will kill you! I will kill these humans first, and then I will kill you."

Bheema stepped in front of the female Rakshasi.

"Your sister fell in love with me. She has done no wrong to you because of that. And I will never let you kill a woman when I am there. Come forward and fight me!"

Hidimva first attacked, and Bhima easily defended himself.

Bheema then dragged the Rakshasa far away from his brothers and mother so that their fight did not wake up the others.

Then when Bheema saw that they were far away from his family, Hidimva and Bheema fought like fully grown elephants mad with rage. They even broke the trees and threw them at each other.

These sounds woke up Kunti first.
