Distance, the word creates a bitter feeling in our hearts making us deny it's approach towards us, towards any of our goals, any of our relationship. When we get distanced from our goals we become determined than before to avoid further distraction. When distance comes in between relationship it reasons intense care in bonding after it diminished. Dau had started his journey towards Dwarka composing his intense feelings which invoked in him after realising the fact that Subhadra's future had a different path other than Dwarka.

Dau reached at Dwarka before afternoon. He received a grand welcome after entering into the boarder, and the flow continued till the time he got down from chariot, to meet his family in the premises of palace. At first he greeted his parents to be embraced by them. Then his sister in laws (wives of Kanha) greeted them while Revati welcomed him with a bright smile reflecting the happiness of his return all in itself.

Pradyumn and his brothers touched dau's feet together, and got blessing for themselves. Kanha and Subhadra were watching dau silently standing at their places. Dau raised eyebrows at them with a gesture like what happened. They both copied his gesture. Then dau narrowed his eyes towards them. They both too did the same. Dau started to think what's the matter. Even they repeated this action of dau too.

Everyone was chuckling over siblings' banter which had been missing from the scenario for a long time. At last dau opened his arms for his naughties. In no time Kanha and Subhadra rushed to his hug only to be squeezed the closest to him by his strong arms.

"How are you, my naughties?" Dau asked caressing their heads.

"We are upset over our dau," Answer came in unison.

"But what had your dau done?" Dau asked innocently.

"Our dau had left us alone with our mischiefs. We have so much debts from our mischiefs, and those debts used to bother us only due to our dau's absence. That's why we are upset," Both replied with matching pace.

"Ohhh! Is it? Now your dau is here. You both can do mischiefs as much as you want. Now happy, my heart beats?" Dau pinched both their cheeks.

"So much happy. You are the best dau," The compliment in chorus made everyone burst into laughing.

It was lunch time, and Arjun was waiting for Subhadra. At the same time he was thinking whether she will come or not. His thought slowed down it's pace when her fragrance mixed with his breaths.

"You must have doubt about my coming, right? But my duty is prior over my delight," She understood his expressions like always.

"So coming here is your duty, isn't it?" He became a bit sad on her mention about duty.

"Yes, it's my duty towards myself. Because without being here I feel like peace doesn't exist for me fully," Being near him is a part of her peace, this answer made him smile along with her.

She served him, and as usual was fanning him gently. Suddenly the brightness of afternoon overpowered by giant clouds spreading their shadows over the earth. She jerked over this sudden change. Smile of her face got replaced with lines of worry.

"This is change isn't so abnormal to be worried, Princess!" He tried to assure her.

She held his hand to control her anxiety. He could have felt happy over her touch. But sensing the anxiety in her nerves he became worried unlike her.

Sun keep shining in it's shades
Though clouds cover it's ways
Stars glitter in night
Despite the darkness is there
Stronger in it's grip
Larger in it's gap
Fragrance too flow in
Even the air is fragile
May come hurdles to stop you
A reason will be there

If not much then just to smile

He uttered the last three lines of poem with genuine assurance that he will be there as that reason. This made her smile making her hold an affectionate one over his hand.

On the other side dau had revealed about the proposal he received from Duryodhan. He was also restless to keep that secret onto himself. So, he thought it would be better to share.

"Duryodhan for our ladli!" Devaki was the first one to speak over the proposal.

"I too don't feel anything good about this proposal, Bal!" Rohini's tensed expression joined Devaki's exclamation.

"But why, Mata? What's wrong in this proposal? Kuru clan is one among most respected ones, and Hastinapur's prosperity has it's own reputation," Dau told his point of view which was just a truth limited to surface level.

"What about peace? Is there any peace in Hastinapur certainly?" Devaki asked making everyone silent with their own thoughts.

"Your mata is right, Ram. Hastinapur's peace had evaporated from a long ago. The clash of opinions had crashed each opportunity of peace at that place. Once more think about it," Vasudev supported Devaki expressing his unwillingness too.

"Kanha, won't you say anything?" Dau asking shifting everyone's attention towards Kanha who was silent from the beginning of discussion.

"It's related to our ladli's life. So, reconsideration about this matter till our satisfaction won't be wrong," Kanha replied making everyone node at each other.

"Fine then. But still I don't feel anything like to object this proposal," Dau's words made the tension intense in the air.

There Subhadra was preparing to go to Arjun for evening veneration. She was repeating the lines of his poem to herself with a calm smile. Just then she heard a chorus. When she turned she find found her nephews.

"Bua maa! You know.........," Bhanu was about to say, but Shambh interrupted him.

"I will tell the news. Because I threw the ball towards grand father's chamber, and that's why we got to know the news," Shambh told, to which Nishant placed his hands on his hips.

"So, what? At first I heard bua maa's name in their conversation. So, I will tell the news," Nishant argued releasing short breaths while countering.

"Why are you arguing, my dears? You all can say the news sharing your turns," Subhadra suggested making them smile.

"I will be the first. Bua maa, they were talking about a proposal relating to you," Ulmukha who was silent grabbed the opportunity to speak.

"They means?" She asked instantly.

"Jyeshth pita, pitamah, pitamahi and pitashri," Bhanu came forward with the answer.

"Marriage proposal, Bua maa! They were talking about your marriage proposal. Here's the complete news," Nishant took his turn to speak.

"No, news isn't completed till now. Because you didn't tell that some Duryodhan had presented this proposal to jyeshth pita from his side," Shambh completed the news making Subhadra shocked.

"My marriage! With Duryodhan!" She whispered to herself.
