Kanha got the hint of Subhadra. So he was preparing according to that. Subhadra was also sure about Kanha's understanding. But she was in wait to see how will he accomplish the task. Her excitement wasn't hidden in emotions. That was all evident.

Arjun also noticed her excitement. But he didn't ask anything as it would have considered as inappropriate according to the codes of decency. He just reciprocated her with a genuine happy smile.

After Arjun completed his dinner Subhadra went to palace gate only to find Kanha was standing alone.

"Bhratashri, where's dau?" She asked observing the surrounding.

"I didn't tell him about our plan," Kanha told making her raise eyebrows.

"May I know the reason, Bhratashri?" She asked in a enquiring voice matching with her previous expression.

"From tomorrow last week of this month is starting. So he was busy regarding monthly opinion poll which is used to conduct for knowing about public inconveniences regarding administrative policies. I didn't find any sign of getting his time. So I didn't inform him anything," Kanha explained to Subhadra who was a bit sad due do her dau's absence.

"Then let's go back, Bhratashri. Because we didn't have any night sneak out without dau till now. We will go on any other day," Subhadra suggested, to which Kanha nodded in negative.

"No, we can't go back. If we do so then I will have dau's scolding, Rukmini's silence and your other bhabhis' sarcasm as punishment," A scared expression came over his face equally matching with the flow of his words.

"Why all these will happen, Bhratashri?" Subhadra asked in a concerned tone after hearing the chances of hard consequences.

"When I became sure that dau can't join us, I applied a trick. I teased Satyabhama, and made dau feel that she's upset with me. So that dau will think I will do something special tonight for convincing her. After that I showed Satyabhama about administrative pressure through dau's advice to me. So that she will think I have to pass tonight with heavy work load," Kanha explained again while Subhadra was enjoying his expression during narration.

"If we go back then truth will be revealed. Then the weight of trouble will make me fall in dangerous angles. Dau won't hear to bhabhi maa, and Rukmini will support her sisters,"  Kanha's state and statement made Subhadra giggle.

"Ok, Bhratashri. Let's go ahead then," She told making Kanha show happiness childishly.

Both brother sister went on night sneak out. After enjoying the sight of sea shore both came back, and departed towards their chambers. On the way Subhadra thought to check upon Arjun once. Because she felt in excitement she ignored her duty towards his comfort. So she went to his residence. She entered in by pushing the door as it wasn't locked from inside.

She saw him sleeping peacefully. Her hands went automatically to caress his hairs. When she realized her action she took back her hands quickly. She halted there sometimes to confirm his comfort, and left after being satisfied. But she was unaware of the fact that Arjun was awake after sensing her presence.

Next morning she noticed a different glow in Arjun's smile during veneration. It's was indicating like he was cherishing a bliss. But she didn't acknowledge the reason. How could she? After all she assumed that he was sleeping last night when she came. If she knew about his awakening state then she could haven't met his eyes to witness the reflection of his bliss.

She completed the first portion of her duty, and move ahead for the next one. Jambavati and Nagnajeeti came to kitchen when she was preparing breakfast for Arjun.

"Ladli, where you went tonight? You weren't present in your chamber," Jambavati asked making her flinch a little.

"We thought you must having stroll in garden. But there also we couldn't find you," Nagnajeeti added further facts to Jambavati's words.

"I went to look over that sage's wellbeing  just casually," She told without letting them know about the unwillingness behind her utterance.

"Ohh! Fine then," Jambavati said exchanging smile with Nagnajeeti, to which Subhadra also reciprocated.

"My appreciation, your asking of award both will lead towards another step of closeness with each other for both of you, Gudiya," Kanha said in mind with his ever charming companion which is none other than his smile.
