The man with the metal arm ran fast and far with the newborn in its blanket in his strong normal arm. He got into a car and the driver pulled out and drove away. They drove all the way to the airport. They then flew in a private jet to the HYDRA Facility in Siberia.

*In the airplane

"Here, I got the child." The man said in a blank voice handing it to the leader of Hydra.

"Good job soldier." He complemented. He rocked the baby. It started crying. He snarled and rolled his eyes. "Ugh, here you take it and check if it is a girl or a boy."

The blue eyed man nodded and took the crying baby. "It's a girl sir."

"Just as I thought. Now shut it up!"

"How?" He tilted his head a bit.

"I don't care just do something!"

The man rocked the baby in his arms and cooed it. He then went to the back to get warm milk. He fed her the whole bottle and at the end she burped. That made him smile for the first time in years.

The boss looked at him in disgust. "I think we found our babysitter" he said to himself mocking the soldier.

They arrived in Siberia and the young man gave the baby to another person who took it inside. A room had been set up for the newborn. It had a crib, a wardrobe with a few baby clothes in it, lots of cloths used as diapers, a wooden chair and some wooden toys. It also had a painting of a rainbow that the previous child had made. The baby was put in the crib and soon fell asleep.

Many hours later a carer came in to feed the baby. The baby cried again and wouldn't stop. Every one in the in the building tried to feed her but she just wouldn't cooperate. Then they gave the baby to the soldier who had stolen her. She instantly stopped crying. She then for the first time opened her eyes and saw Bucky Barns holding her. She smiled up at him. He smiled back.

"What is her name?" Bucky asked while feeding her.

"Y/N" said someone who was reading a file. "We know who the mother is but there is no trace of a father." He scrunched his face trying to think.
"We will have figured out a way to tell who one's parents are in the future. Let's just leave it for now." He didn't though tell Bucky about Mystique. He wouldn't know for a long time.

Bucky walked around the base and ended up in his bedroom. He had the coziest room in the headquarters because he was the best super soldier. He never hesitated to kill.

He sat on his bed and rocked her to sleep.
"You are so cute!" He whispered to her.

*That night
Bucky gave y/n a nice warm bubble bath and got her ready for bed and fed her one last bottle of milk.

Bucky had put y/n in her horrible crib and covered her. He put a cute ribbon on her head and watched as she fell asleep in the cozy blankets he had set up for her.

"Good night y/n." Bucky said and leaned
down and kissed her on the forehead.

Suddenly he came out of his hypnotised state and looked around him. His normal hand was under y/n's little fragile head and his metal one touching her soft cheek.
"Oh!" Bucky exclaimed shocked. He went to his room and found a notepad and started writing at his desk.

"I, Bucky Barns, am back... i have a very foggy memory of the last year. I can though remember everything since kidnapping  y/n. I wasn't in total control until i kissed her forehead. I just hope no one finds out..."

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING THERE JAMES?" Someone shouted as they went in Bucky's bedroom.

Bucky quickly jumped out of his seat, threw down the pen and notebook and acted like his winter soldier self for the agent.

"It's 9:40 pm. You always sleep at 9:30. Is something bothering you?" The agent asked.

"No sir! I am fine! Goodnight sir!" Bucky said. His voice was softer then the usual harsh/winter soldier voice and he had a slight smile on his face.

"Hmm, okay, goodnight soldier."

Bucky nodded and went to the bathroom to brush his teeth and take a shower.

Then he got into his soft bed and fell asleep. He had horrible nightmares of the things he had done as the winter soldier. He woke up plenty of times covered in sweat. Finally at 3am, five times after already waking up, he walked over to the bathroom and took a cold shower. The winter soldier didn't have any feelings. But Bucky Barns did. He then got some shorts on and got into bed again. This time he slept very well.
