A decade had passed and now they were in the 50's. In the meantime Steve Rogers had crashed and was now frozen in the ice.

"OPEN PODS 309 AND 310" boss shouted as he walked to the underground freezer room. He hadn't been down there since he froze the two.

Pods 309 and 310 opened. An agent gave them both electric shocks so their hearts would pump faster and they would wake up.

Bucky woke up and moved his head around, trying to understand what he was doing there. His eyes were a bit frozen still but he would get better. He opened his mouth to speak but not a sound came out. He then closed his eyes again and waited.

Then all at once Y/N woke up. An alarm went off because her heart beat was too fast. She started hyperventilating. She tried too to speak but couldn't. The agents took her out of her pod and upstairs. Some other agents took Bucky too. They gave both of them blankets and hot chocolate and they sat in a warm room in front of a fire.

"Bucky! You're here!" Y/N managed to wheeze.

"Yes I'm here!" Bucky said. He then picked her up ad held her on his body so they could warm up together.

An hour later they were fine again.
"I am never going into a pod again!" Y/N said.
"Why's that?" An agent asked.

Y/N was now sitting on Bucky's lap and he was sitting on a couch in front of the fire.

"Have you ever been frozen?"
"No" the agent answered honestly.

"Well, i was trapped in my dream and I couldn't escape! So many horrible things happened and some good things.
I dreamed that the winter soldier was trying to kill me.
I dreamed that tigers and wolves chased me and I couldn't get away!
I dreamed that my teeth were falling out. I dreamed that i was naked in the middle of a huge crowd.
I dreamed that i sang and danced and that HYDRA was taken down!
I dreamed i was falling and falling for thirty minutes and at the end i died...
I dreamed I found my parents and i lived with them.
I dreamed that i had siblings and we played together.
I dreamed about a very special tree.
I dreamed that Bucky died and i was left alone in a forest.... there were so many dreams that i just can't remember them all!
I just remember that when I tried to wake up I couldn't. I sometimes couldn't breathe and sometimes I got hurt. It was so real I couldn't feel everything!" Y/N said then took a deep breath.

Bucky wrapped his arms around her to comfort her.

"Oh Y/N! I'm so sorry that happened to you! When I was asleep I rewatched all the murders I had committed. I heard people screaming and saw them beg for their lives. I then saw my own self killing them without a second thought."

"Oh... I'm so sorry about your dreams Bucky!" Y/N said sympathetically and stroked his head.

"Hour's up!" An agent interrupted their conversation. "You can try walk now." He went over to Y/N and made her stand in front of the still burning fire. Bucky got up by himself. His knees made funny noises as he started to walk. He then went over to Y/N and took her hand and they went out of the door and to the hallway.

"I want to try run!" Y/N suddenly said smiling.

"You shouldn't..." an agent started to say but Y/N was already running full speed down the ten mile hallway. Bucky chased after her.

"Hey wait up for me!" He shouted and laughed. Y/N looked back at Bucky and stuck out her tong teasingly and then sprinted forward. Bucky ran as fast as he could until the end but Y/N wasn't there!

He looked frantically left and right and searched the rooms. Then out of room 4638 Y/N leaped out and shouted "BOO!".

"Y/N! Never do that again! Ever! I thought they had taken you away again! You made me worry sick!" He said angrily.

"Sorry Bucky. I didn't want to scare you." She then took a step and leaped into his arms and hugged him. He twirled around and Y/N buried her face in his chest and inhaled his ambrosial scent. She had missed it a lot!

"I'm so happy I'm back and you aren't super old!" Y/N said smiling up at him.

"Yeah me too! I'm 22 but i feel 16 again. I wonder if the ice reduces age... I'll ask Boss later. Now lets go and play, what do you say?"

"Yes let's!" Y/N said happily Bucky put her down.

Y/N sprinted down the hall again and went to the door that led outside. She then stood staring through the window and waited for Bucky to catch up.

"It's beautiful!" She said putting her little hands on the glass. The snow ahead of her was shining from the sun. Bucky then also put his hands on the glass and stared.

"Come on then! What are you waiting for? Lets go outside!" Bucky said moving away from the glass and going to the door.

Y/N then grabbed Bucky's hand and they ran outside. It was hot! But the snow was cold. They made snow angels and  snowboarded. They also had a snow fight!

They skid past some trees and Y/N remembered their special tree. She waited to tell Bucky when they had stopped.

As they skid suddenly Y/N's ski bumped into a big rock. She went flying forward. Bucky managed to catch her mid air with his metal arm. That metal arm seemed to save Y/N from falling on her face pretty often!

After skiing for half an hour they found a bench to sit down and they drank some water.

"Hey Bucky, we should go find our trees!" Y/N suggested.
"Oh yeah! I wonder how much they have grown..." Bucky getting up.

They went to the field where they had planted the apple and pear seeds. The field was full of snow but right in the center a small apple tree had emerged. Bucky walked around it and then called "Y/N! Come look!"

"What is it? oooh!" She said gasping.

"My apple tree is growing around yours as if they are hugging!" Bucky said in awe. "How extraordinary!"

Then Y/N spotted an apple. "Oh Bucky! Look there!" She said pointing "an apple!"
Bucky, from where he stood, didn't have to reach high and picked the fruit. Then he held it between his two hands and ripped  it in half. He looked at the fruit in his hands. He gave the one part to Y/N. She took a bite.

"Woah! It's so delicious!" She said while munching the apple.

"Yeah it's really good!" Bucky replied with the same amazement.
