At the training grounds where cadets are sparring

Keith: Today you will be starting off with hand to hand combat with a partner! You will be picking your own partner!

Everyone started to talk with each other and get their partners while Y/N wasn't paired up with anyone

Marcel: Sorry Y/N but we all already picked our partners

Pieck: I'm sure you can find a partner

Y/N's friends left as they were going to start sparring

Y/N: Well it looks like I'm by myself.

Y/N started to walk around to see if anyone didn't have a partner. Then something seemed like it hit Y/N

Y/N: Huh?

Y/N looked around him and he looked below to see a tiny girl who was about half of his size or smaller

Y/N: Oh hey, you must be...

Krista: Krista. Krista Lenz

Y/N: Right, sorry for bumping into you

Krista: No it's my fault, I should've been looking more carefully

Y/N and Krista look at each other like a predator looking at it's prey

Y/N: So why are you walking around? Don't you have a partner?

Krista: Not exactly

Y/N: Oh?

Krista: I got left alone, it's probably because of my height

Y/N started to inspect Krista more with his eyes

Y/N: You look about 4 foot 7 inches to me

Krista: Yeah...

Krista looked down

Y/N: But that doesn't really matter to me.

Krista looked back up seeing Y/N's eyes

Y/N: You can be as powerful as Mikasa over there than just being way more cuter than her

Frieda: She heard that!

Mikasa hit Frieda's wrist which led to the knife dropping

Frieda: Ow! That hurt!

Mikasa stared at Y/N and Krista while Y/N ignored her and continued to look at Krista

Y/N: Your height may have flaws but it has a lot of benefits

Krista: Such as?

Y/N: It's more difficult for the enemy to target you while I'm a giant and they can see whatever I do.

Y/N went into his stance

Y/N: Come at me, I'll be your partner

Krista looked at Y/N with her knife in hand and she tried to attack him but Y/N stepped away and tripped Krista with his leg

Y/N: Don't be so predictable

Y/N grabbed Krista's hand and lifted her back up

Y/N: Try to predict what I'm about to do next

Krista nodded her head but then again she tripped in end but Y/N grabbed her hand before she could reach the ground

Y/N sighs

Y/N: I'll teach you some skills that it was passed down by my family to help you. It will go great with your physique.

Krista nodded

Krista: Thank you for trying to help me Y/N. It means a lot that you care

Krista smiles as if an angel came out of the heavens and every boy was blushing madly with an exception of Y/N and Eren who didn't faze

Y/N: Don't worry about it 'Damn, she's so cute'

At the mess hall, at night

Y/N sat with his friends on a table

Reiner: Y/N, it seems like you really connected with Krista

Y/N: Who?

Lara: Krista, the smallest girl and smallest person from all the trainees

Y/N stayed silent as he kept on looking at Lara with no clue as to what she was saying

Lara: She's blonde

Y/N: Oh! Krista, yeah she's great. Not bad to always share my skills with others

Pieck: Then you should share with the rest of us

Y/N: You all already know my skills

Annie: I've never seen that skill in my life from the time I began to know you

Annie said with a serious face

Marcel: Me either

Y/N dropped down his spoon and he stared at his friends

Y/N: There are things that I-

Y/N looked up and saw Krista going to his table

Krista: Hey

Y/N: Hi

Krista was standing next to Y/N with her tray in her hands

Krista: Do you mind if I sit with you guys?

Krista said as she looked at Y/N and his friends

Annie: We were-

Y/N: Of course you can!

Y/N made space for Krista to sit next to him. Krista sat down all the way to the right while Y/N was between her and Reiner

Y/N: You had no place to go or something Krista?

Krista: It's not that, I just want to hide from Ymir and Frieda

Y/N: I'm sure they can be a handful, they are like your mother

Krista smiled and giggled while Y/N chuckles

Krista: So what were you guys talking about?

Everyone froze as they didn't know what to say

Y/N: 'Oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck!'

Marcel: 'Damnit Y/N!'

Reiner: 'Even though Krista is cute Y/N, we're in a bad position!'

Annie: 'Stupid Y/N'

Bertolt: 'Calm down Bertolt, maybe we can just get out of this... somehow.'

Pieck: 'Typical I guess but it's fine overall'

Lara: '...'

Y/N's friends stare at Y/N, signaling for him to talk

Y/N: We were talking about-

Eren: You son of a bitch!

Everyone looked towards Eren as he stood up

Jean: Bring it on you little bastard

Jean stood up as well and went towards Eren

Y/N: ‘Oh man, this is the first time that I’m happy that they are both fighting’

Y/N breathed out in relaxment as he avoided Krista’s question

Mikasa: Gentlemen, please

Mikasa grabs Eren’s hand and pulls it away from Jean’s hand

Y/N: Oh this is going to be good

Y/N whispered

Krista: It would be better if they just stop fighting and call it truce

Krista whispered as she watching Eren and Jean

Y/N: Seems easy enough

Y/N stands up from his seat before Jean could speak

Y/N: Before you scream your life out, you two should go back to your seats before Shadis notices anything going on.

Eren and Jean look at Y/N as he is making a normal face

Eren: He’s right, let’s call it a truce and be it at that

Jean looks at Eren and then he breathes out

Jean: S-sure

Jean says as he’s trying to make a normal face without anger

Eren and Jean both shake hands and go back to their individual tables. Y/N sits down as his table as well as some people clap. Everyone continues to go on and talk and eat their food

Y/N: See, easy as cutting a Titan’s nape

Krista: That was kind of you to do that Y/N, but I hope you didn;t do it because of me

Y/N: Eh it would’ve been fun either way even if they continued arguing so it’s a win-win right?

Krista giggles and smiles at Y/N as Y/N smirks

Reiner: They definitely have some kind of chemistry or something

Reiner whispered to the rest of their friends

Bertolt: No doubt to be honest

Marcel: Better to have friends then none

Annie: Hmph

Pieck: Sure

Lara: …

Thus, the graduation of the 218 trainees came

Soldier: Do you have heart!

Trainees: Sir!

All the trainees salute

Soldier: As of this moment, you have three options open to you! Choose wisely! The Garrison Regiment, whose job is to reinforce the Walls! The Scout Regiment, who ride out into Titan territory to take back what was once ours! And the Military Police Regiment who maintains law and order from His Royal Majesty! Those cadets eligible for the Military Police have already been named! The rest of you, take a look, these are the top of your class!

The trainees look at the top 10 of their class. 1st was Mikasa Ackerman, 2nd was Y/N L/N, 3rd was Lara Tybur, 4th was Marcel Galliard, 5th was Reiner Braun, 6th was Bertolt Hovver, 7th was Annie Leonhart, 8th was Pieck Finger, 9th was Eren Yeager, and last but not least was Ymir who placed 10th

Y/N: ‘This is it. We did it.’

Y/N: ‘Wall Rose, you’re next.’
