As we and cherry were walking home we were thinking ways to explain to our dad of us being a couple now

Light look down and see his children holding hands and know what happens

Light: you two are dating right?

Flashback 25 year ago light p.o.v.
(Light age is 10 in this flashback)

A lot happen. To my parents die and our house being burn down to the whole city being destroy. I had to survive on my own. I learn how to cook,hunt,and being sell stuff. I even learn how to fight with a dagger. But soon I made it to the kingdom. It was bigger than my Home town. I made it to see people gather so I want to see people look at two adults with what look like thier children. I smiles and see people cheer

I smiles but see two people go to a alleyway so I follow while making sure I don't get caught

???:is everyone in place

???:yes once I signal you we will attack the king and queen. But if not possible kill the Prince.

The other guy nod.

I was shocked and left to look for a guard. After I found one and i told him what I heard but after I finish a gun shot was heard and people with black and red clothes start to attack civilians and the guards. The guards try to defend the king and queen. I look to see the Prince on the floor with one the killer ready to end his life. I couldn't let kill the Prince so I want to try to save him.

???:well Prince it seems your time is up.

The Prince look as the killer grab his sword to stab him. But before he should I grab a rock and use all I got to hit him in the head stopping him. The killer fell backwards and the Prince look to see me and run to hide behind me

Killer:you son of a ***** im going kill both of you.

He then run toward us. I get ready to fight when out of the roof a guy fell and land in front of us and grab his gun to shoot at the killer finish him off.

???:you ok Prince

He nods and goes to him and soon guards were able to finish all the other killers. After all is done the guy that save us took us to the queen and king. The Prince ran to his mom and hugs

Prince;mom *hugs her while crying*

King:thank you connor

Connor:no problem my king. It the least I can do for helping me and my people.

The king then look at me and I kneel down

King:what is your name is I am ask

Light:my name is light

Queen:and where your parents

I look down and cried. I was trying my best not too but I couldn't hold it in. After finish crying I explained to what happen

Light:and that what happened to my parents and home village

King:I'm sorry to hear that. It must been hard on you.

Light:it ok I'm just glad the Prince is ok

connor: my king it was thank to this kid I was able to save the Prince life. He was able to distract the killer before he could strike him.

King:I see. Light

Light: yes your majesty

King: since you not only Prince but also were quick to inform the guard I would like to stay and train with connor to become an assassin.

I was shocked and honor too and nod

Light:yes I would like that

King: excellent Prince can you show me around we will get a room ready for him

The Prince nod and soon he showed me around

King: do you think he has potential

connor:I'm 100% sure. You has a kind heart and an iron Will. Plus him and the prince have a strong bond.

The kind and queen nods and smiles knowing that the Prince has somebody to protect

End of flashback y/n p.o.v.

I was shocked and surprised light knew my dad a long time.

Light:your father was my best friend to me. Not my king or someone I had to protect. But a true best friend a brother.

As he said this he pulls out a photo from his wallet and show us it to be him,my dad,his parrents and connor

Light:your dad would be happy to know you found someone special.

I smile and cherry hugs me and kiss me in the cheek.

Light: now come on it's almost time for dinner

We both and runs back to the house

(Light p.o.v.)

I smiles and put the picture back in my wallet and pull out two more. One was a picture with the y/n dad and light grown up. It also showed y/n mom hold the baby y/n. And the other is a picture of me with other people smiling

Light:I hope you guys are still alive and doing well

Cherry: hurry up dad.

Light:oh sorry I'm going.

I put the pictures back and put my wallet back into my pocket and head back.
