While the group takes a break on the way to Castelia City, Ash admitres his newly won Basic Badge, and musing to Pikachu that he only has six left to earn. Axew wanders over to the backpacks, and takes interest in at Ash's Egg, when it suddenly begins to shake and glow. Axew is so startled that he falls over backwards, and then excitedly draws everyone's attention to the Egg.

Palutena created a small barrier around Ash and the egg, it blocked everyone outside of it from sight, so Ash will be the first one the baby will see. The egg then glowed brightly causing Ash to cover his eyes, when the glow died down, Ash uncovered his eyes to see a newly hatched Scraggy looking at him curiously. He then scanned it using his Pokedex.

"Scraggy, the Shedding Pokemon. The lower half of Scraggy's body is covered by a tough rubbery skin and when someone makes eye contact it responds with Headbutt." His Pokedex beeped.

After Palutena let down the barrier, Ash sent out all his Pokemon to greet their new member, but when they approached it to say hi, he always responds with a headbutt.

"Ash, you should keep the little one outside it's Pokeball for now, to allow it to get use to it's surroundings." Palutena suggested.

Ash nodded in agreement. As they set up camp, Y/n and Koneko placed a aura barrier around the area, so Scraggy would't wander off. 

As they waited for lunch, Palutena had Y/n and Koneko spar with each other. As Y/n was blocking his junior's attacks, his Xtransceiver began to rang, this distracted Y/n a bit, he almost didn't block Koneko's last attack and sent him back a few feet, despite her size, Koneko was pretty strong.

Picking up, Y/n saw B/n was the one who called him.

"Bro, i need your help in Oblivia."

"What for?"

"A friend of mine that lives on Rainbow island found a Manaphy egg, i would like you to go to Rainbow island to pick it up."

"Can't you pick it up yourself?"

"I would if i could, but the me and the other rangers in Oblivia are busy rounding up the remaining Pokemon pinchers that are following Purple eyes."

"Alright, i'll be right there."

After Y/n hung up, he turned to see Palutena already has already has her Gardervoir ready. With her help, Y/n was teleported to Oblivia.

Reaching Rainbow island's beach area, Y/n saw someone on a UFO like machine holding the Manaphy egg, he also saw a Poochyena with glowing red eyes growling at a group of kids and a old man.

"Haha! I'll be taking this!" The man laughed before trying to leave by flying away on his machine, the key word being try. He soon realized he wasn't moving, 

Y/n had created a aura chain before tossing it at the UFO machine, it wrapped around a handle and Y/n was using his own raw strength to hold it in place. 

With a sharp yank of the chain, Y/n flung the man to some trees, causing him to drop the egg, luckily Y/n was able to safely catch the egg before it hit the ground.

"Grr.. you'll pay for that B/n, Poochyena bite!"

The bite Pokemon's fangs glowed before it charged at Y/n, but it was quickly knocked aside by Lucario. Y/n and Lucario made eye contact before the latter rushed at the man and placed a paw on his gauntlet like machine before sending a small burst of aura into it, shorting it out.

"No! Blast you B/n!"

A whistle rang out from their left, the man and the kids turned to see B/n walking to them. This caused them to look between the brothers in confusion.

"We're twins." Said twins said in union before B/n tied the man up.

B/n's styler began to ring, when he picked up, the panicked voice of one of his partners, Summer.

"B/n! The pinchers chased after Shaymin in the air after it transformed and took off into the air! And they had a bunch of them battle us while two of them go chase after Shaymin!"

Soon more pinchers appeared in their flying machines, it was clear their trying to block B/n from interfering with their comrades.

B/n leaped into the air before using his styler to draw a symbol on the ground, soon a cry was heard as a Latios appeared.

"Y/n, i'll keep these guys busy, you go help Shaymin."

Y/n nodded, after getting on the eon Pokemon, Y/n gathered some aura to his hands before clapping them together, creating a shockwave, this dazed some of the pinchers and gave Latios a chance to speed off.

It didn't take long for Latios to find the pinchers that was chasing Shaymin, the two were using the machines to try to blast Shaymin out of the say.

"Hey! Stop that!" Y/n shouted at them.

"How did you get past our comrades? Whatever, we'll just shoot you down."

The two pinchers then turned their fire at Y/n, unfortunately for them though, Latios was able to easily dodge them as he done so many times before in the past, it didn't take long before they ran out of ammo.

"Oh no..." One of the grunts muttered.

"I heard from my brother that you also tried to shoot down Latios before right? Since you like shooting Pokemon from the sky, let's see how you like it!"

Y/n created two aura sphere's before firing them at the grunts, it hit their machines breaking them, they would have crashed to the ocean bellow, but Y/n trapped them in each a aura bubble before sending them to Rainbow island.

Y/n noticed Shaymin slowing down and beginning to to descend, knowing the pinchers had been chasing the poor thing for a while now, he knows it's really exhausted. Latios speeds up so Y/n can catch the gratitude Pokemon in his hands.

A few minutes later, Y/n was at Rand's house .There B/n entrusted Y/n with both the egg and Shaymin, knowing his twin was the best trainer he knows to take care of them.

Y/n decided to stay in Oblivia for a bit to catch up with B/n, as the brothers talked to each other, Y/n could only wonder what the future holds as the journey continues.
