As our heroes were resting, Iris and Cilan had a battle. With Iris using Axew and Cilan using Pansage, but the battle was less then impressive, as the two were taking it too easy on the tusk Pokemon.

"You know Iris...." Bea began. " If you keep babying Axew, he'll never grow and evolve." She finished bluntly. 

Her blunt words caused Axew to look down sadly as he always dreamed of evolving. 

"Bea...." Iris hissed as she held her Pokemon close. " Why did you have to say that?"

"As blunt as Bea's words are....she does have a point." Y/n said before an argument could break out.  " Take it from someone who has a cousin who's a dragon trainer, who's dragon Pokemon always trained intensely and won't be happy with anything less." He explained.

 "Dragon Pokemon craves for intense battles, it's just how they are. This allow to gain experience and grow." Palutena explained. "I understand that Axew is still young, but sooner or later he'll have to start battling seriously." 

Iris was silent for a bit as she knew they had a point, before coming up with an idea.

"Y/n? Can you call out Zekrom?" She asked surprising them." Axew has trouble learning dragon rage, and i hope Zekrom can help with that, plus it'll be a huge honor to have one of the two legendary dragon Pokemon help us." She explained and Axew seems excited at the idea.

"I don't see any problem with that." Y/n said as he sent out the pitch black Pokemon. "Show us Axew's dragon rage, we'll need to see what we're working with here ."

Iris nodded and called out dragon rage, Y/n pain attention as Axew built up energy but was alarmed when the energy became unstable. "Hit the deck!" He warned the others.

Y/n created a aura barrier that surrounded him , his old friends and teacher while said teacher did the same to Ash and the others. Just in time as Axew's dragon rage exploded.

After the dust died down, Axew was seen in the middle of a crater looking sheepish at the destruction caused.

"Well Axew has the power down, but lacks control." Y/n said as he and Palutena lowered the barriers.

Zekrom began instructing Axew on how to focus his energy properly, and with each attempt Axew was getting better.

It took about an hour, but Axew was able to master dragon rage.

As Iris and Axew were celebrating, Y/n received a call from his twin brother B/n. 

B/n had called him to a place known as the white ruins, he needed his help to find the light stone, the hibernating form of the dragon of truth, Reshiram.

Agreeing to help, he requested Palutena to teleport him to the ruins as well asking her for help. She agreed before teleporting them to the white ruins.

After meeting up with B/n, they searched inside the ruins. As they searched inside, Y/n could sense Zekrom reacting to something.  

After an hour of searching, they all exited to report on their findings. 

A ranger named Jack walker managed to find the light stone, but as soon as Y/n was near, it  glowed red and floated few feet above ground. Jack had already backed away when it glowed and grew hot.

It then glowed brightly greatly, forcing everyone to cover their eyes. When it died down, it revealed the vast white Pokemon in all it's glory.

"Amazing, but what caused it to awaken from it's slumber?" Jack asked in awe of the sight of the dragon of truth.

"I have a feeling why...." Palutena said as she looked at Y/n. Figuring that Zekrom being nearby might have to do something with it.

Reshiram looked at Y/n with interest before roaring a challenge,  to test the young guardians strength .

Zekrom suddenly came out of his Pokeball and roared at his counterpart who roared back, both then began radiating a flaring and bursting aura. 

Y/n could tell the vast white Pokemon won't take no for an answer, Y/n and Zekrom got ready for one heck of a battle.

"Dragon rage!"

Zekrom opens its mouth and forms a light blue orb of energy inside of his mouth. He then fires a beam of energy from the orb at Reshiram who counters with it's own.

Reshiram then created a large sphere of flames with two rings surrounding it from its mouth at Zekrom.

"Dodge then use dragon rush!"

Zekrom dodged at the last second before rushing at Reshiram surrounded with a blue aura, the vast white Pokemon dodged it before firing another large sphere of flames with two rings surrounding it at Zekrom that hit it's mark.

"Fusion bolt!"

Zekrom's tail glows light blue with electricity. Zekrom's body then becomes surrounded in a sphere of violet electricity, which he then slams into the Reshiram. This caused a large explosion, when it died down Reshiram was visibley injured.

Before Y/n could call out another order, Reshiram roared something to Zekrom. The pitch black Pokemon nodded before roaring something at Y/n.

Lucario who was in his Pokeball at the time, knew this was a similar situation as before. Before Y/n could react, he snatched a Luxury ball from Y/n's bag and threw it at Reshiram.

1...2...3 and with that, Reshiram was caught.

Palutena congratulated Y/n as he picked up the Luxury ball containing Reshiram, soon B/n and the other rangers followed after getting over their shock.

Before teacher and student returned to their friends in Unova, they decided to hang out with B/n and the other rangers for a bit.

Y/n decided to scan his new Pokemon while on the way to the nearest Pokemon center. 

Reshiram the vast white Pokemon. A dragon and fire type. According to myth, if people ignore truth and let themselves become consumed by greed, Reshiram will arrive to burn their kingdoms down."

"Yikes, kinda extreme don't you think?" B/n commented .

"You deal with people like the Pokemon pincers, and people like the societea who plan to use a ancient fortress to take over the world and you also capture and summon legendary Pokemon though ranger signs and you call burn a town extreme?" Y/n asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah... good point." B/n said with a sweatdrop as his twin has a point.

As they reached a Pokemon center, Y/n could only wonder what the future holds as the journey continues.
