Y/n and his friends near Skyarrow Bridge, which will lead them to Castelia City. As they step closer, they spot a Poke Mart, so Ash decides he will call Professor Juniper. Ash, not looking where he is going, almost bumps into a passing woman. He apologizes and allows the woman to go ahead of him into the Poké Mart. Iris walks up and tells Ash that he's still a little kid. Ash goes inside and contacts Professor Juniper via the PC. Ash tells Juniper that he caught a Sewaddle, which makes her proud. She asks Ash if he wants to swap Sewaddle with Pidove and Ash says yes. Soon enough, Ash has his Pidove again and spots the woman he almost ran into earlier staring at some photographs. Cilan realizes the photos have some age to them, and the woman merely calls them "Water Taxis" with no details and walks off, confusing the group.

The group steps outside, just as an eerie fog rolls in. Just then, an Officer Jenny rides by on her motorcycle. Cilan asks if she could clear the fog. Officer Jenny sends out her Swanna, which Ash scans with his Pokedex, and uses Defog, but to no avail. Suddenly, a car drives by, and Jenny chases after it as no vehicles should be driven in the fog. Ash, despite the risks, decides to cross the Skyarrow Bridge anyway. The others had no choice but to follow.

Once they get on the bridge, Iris tells her Axew to stay in her hair. Suddenly, a Psybeam is fired in front of the group as a warning shot, with a Gothitelle making it clear that it doesn't want anyone to cross.

Ash was ready to fight, but Palutina stopped him, stepping forward, she released waves of calming aura, the Astra body Pokemon slowly calmed down before floating down to her, Using aura to read it's thoughts, turns out, Gothitelle worked with a girl named Sally in the past for the Water Taxi, and when the bridge was complete and the water taxi closed services. Gothetelle was drawn to tears at the time, but Sally invited it to join her and her father as they moved away. Gothitelle was saddened when Sally later went to train to be a doctor, and it escaped from their new home. Soon, the women from earlier showed up, who revealed herself to be a grown-up Sally.  The two old friends reunite, shedding tears as they recalled the past together.  

 After the recounts, they wipe each other's tears from their faces. Gothitelle faces the fact that it can't go back into the past, no matter how many memories it can recount. Gothitelle decides to send Sally, and our heroes back to the present. Sally suddenly notices Gothitelle on top of the bridge, which they say a tender goodbye. Sally asks if she can visit Gothitelle again, which Gothitelle nods before vanishing in a mysterious mist. Officer Jenny soon arrives and says how strange it was for the fog to go away so quickly. The group looks at each other and laugh.

After separating with Sally, they went to the Pokemon center to rest, but before Y/n could settle down, he got a call from B/n.

"Hey Bro, i need you at Kitakami"

"Kitakami? Why?"

"Long story, think you can get here soon?"

"Alright, I'm coming."

With Palutina's Gardevoirs help, Y/n and Palutina teleported to Kitakami where B/n is, there Y/n saw his twin with a girl who introduced herself as Carmine along with a small Pokemon they call Ogerpon.

They explained while in Kitami, Ogerpon is a evil orger that threated the village, three Pokemon known as the Loyal three, though Y/n can hear their sarcasm at the loyal part, has perished protecting the village, but not before stripping  Ogerpon of three of it's four mask that it drew it's power from. Before they told him the true story of Ogerpon and the Loyal three

Initially, Ogerpon and its former partner came to the land of Kitakami from a foreign land. They were shunned by the people of the village due to their strange appearance, and so they lived in a nearby mountain, isolated from the villagers. Although it saddened the pair that the villagers were not welcoming, they were happy to live quietly with each other. The village mask-maker took pity on the pair and crafted four beautiful masks for them, allowing them to blend in with the people during the village festival, which made the pair overjoyed.

 However, the word of the beautiful masks attracted three greedy Pokemon to Kitakami. They attacked the man and stole three of the four masks he tried to protect. Finding her home in ruins, Ogerpon, full of anger, donned the remaining mask, found the three Pokemon with the masks they had stolen, and defeated them. The townspeople, not understanding what had happened, assumed the three Pokemon had fallen trying to protect them from the violent ogre, and named them the Loyal Three. Ogerpon subsequently returned to the mountain alone and was not seen again.

But now they have been resurrected and still having the three mask that was stolen, they needed his help to hunt them the Loyal three and retrieve the mask. Y/n and Palutina agreed, but before they went to search for them, B/n handed Y/n a tera orb, something that allows a Pokemon to terastallize, it was given to him by the Naranja Academy from Paldea region, he has no need for it as he was a ranger, so it's better off in Y/n's hand, plus, he hopped Y/n could track the mask by the tera energy of the crystals on them.

Focusing, Y/n led them up Oni mountain, where they found Fezandipiti, who have grown larger thanks to the Kitakami Mochi served to the three at Kitakami Hall, Y/n pulled out his Pkedex to scan it.

"Fezandipiti, the Retainer Pokemon. A Poison and Fairy Type. Fezandipiti owes its beautiful looks and lovely voice to the toxic stimulants emanating from the chain wrapped around its body." Y/n's Pokedex beeped.

Y/n out Lucario who used puts he paws together and spreads them apart, creating a light green bone before knocking the Retainer Pokemon out of the air. He then knocked it back, catching the mask as Fezandipiti dropped it. He then jumped back and handed it to B/n before continuing his attack, knocking the Retainer Pokemon around before it crashed landed, kicking up a cloud of dust, when it died down, Fezandipiti returned to normal size as it was down and out.

Y/n then threw a Dusk ball at Fezandipiti

1...2...3 and Ping! And with that, Fezandipiti was caught.

The dusk ball was sent back to the guardian school, Y/n knew a few master guardians that had a way to deal with Pokemon with attitudes.

With Ogerpon, she was overjoyed to regain the Hearthflame Mask, it was quite the adorable sight.

Next, they found the next one at Wistful Fields, where they found Munkidori

"Munkidori, the Retainer Pokemon. A Poison and Psychic Type. The chain is made from toxins that enhance capabilities. It stimulated Munkidori's brain and caused the Pokemon's psychic powers to bloom." Y/n's Rotom phone beeped.

Y/n sent out Lucario again, but this time, Victini charged him with energy, empowering him.

"Now aura sphere!"

Lucario formed a sphere of aura empowered by Victinis between his hands before firing it at Munkidori, it stood there, thinking it was a foolish play as it resist fighting, but only to be proven wrong as the empowered aura sphere knocked it out in one hit, returning it to normal size as it dropped the mask. 

Y/n then threw a Dusk ball at Munkidori

1...2...3 and Ping! And with that, Munkidori was caught.

With Ogerpon, she was overjoyed to regain the Wellspring Mask

For the final one, they tracked it down to Paradise Barrens, there they found Okidogi

"Okidogi, the Retainer Pokemon. A Poison and Fighting Type. After all its muscles were stimulated by the toxic chain around its neck, Okidogi transformed and gained a powerful physique."

Y/n sent out Victini this time. "Zen headbutt!"

Victini's head glowed before she flew at Okidogi, slamming it back. The Retainer Pokemon tried to strike back, but Victini's small size made that difficult. She then knocked it back with another.

"Psychic!"

Victini's eyes glowed light blue as a aura of the same color appeared around Okidogi. She lifted it before tossing it back to a boulder, caused it to drop the mask before it slammed into said boulder, kicking up a cloud of dust, even it died down, it was down and out.

Y/n then threw a Dusk ball at Okidogi

1...2...3 and Ping! And with that, Okidogi was caught.

Ogerpon was jumping for joy as she finally regained the Cornerstone Mask, which means all three mask are back to where they belong, with Ogerpon.

Soon, Carmine's little brother Kieran tells them to come back to Mossui Town, where he's succeeded in convincing the townspeople of Ogerpon and the Loyal Three's true natures, clearing Ogerpon's name. Ogerpon was happy to be welcomed by the village. Palutena who was with Kieran as Y/n went to find the Loyal three had noticed some inner darkness inside of him, but with her gentle words and nature, she was able nip that problem in the bud.

At Oni Mountain, Ogerpon expresses her desire to come with Y/n, but they needed to battle first, which Y/n agreed.

Ogerpon puts on her Hearthflame Mask, which changed her type to Grass and Fire while Y/n sent out Gyarados. Crystal pillars surrounded Ogerpon before they shattered, revealing the mask Pokemon been crystalized but unlike other Pokemon, she does not have a tera crown, instead the Hearthflame Mask grew massive and bright-orange flames erupt from behind the edges of the mask, the Terastal symbol appears in its forehead crystal, its eyes are surrounded by more black coloration, two sharp crystal horns protrude from its forehead, and its mouth opens up wide as if bellowing in rage.

"Waterfall!"

Gyarados surrounded himself with water before knocking Ogeron back, but she ignited her  cudgel before striking back, pushing Gyarados back a bit.

"Aqua tail!"

Ogeron tried again, but Gyarados's tail was surrounded by water before knocking it back. 

The crystalized mask and the casing on Ogeron shattered, returning the mask to normal size. But not giving up, she pulled out her Wellspring Mask with turns her into a Grass and Water type and terastallized once more, the mask's hair flares out to the sides, water flows out from behind the sides of the mask, the Terastal symbol appears in the left tear, and two flat crystal horns protrude from its hair.

Y/n recalled Gyarados before sending out Shaymin.

"Petal Bizzard!"

Multiple pink petals circle around or in front of Shaymin's body and are then fired at the Mask Pokemon and knocking it back. She then used her cudgel, but this time, coated with water that knocked Shaymin back, but Shaymin blasted Ogerpon with another Petal Bizzard, causing the crystalized mask and the casing on Ogeron shattered, returning the mask to normal size. Still wanting to keep going, she put on the Cornerstone Mask, turning her to a Grass/Rock Type before terastallizing once more.  strands of diamond-shaped black hair extend from the sides of the mask, the Terastal symbol appears in its right pupil, two craggy crystal horns protrude from its forehead, and its mouth opens up even more.

"Leaf Storm!"

 Shaymin jumps into the air and multiple glowing green leaves start spinning around Shaymin's body. Shaymin then fires the leaves at Ogerpon who charged at Shaymin with her cudgel that's surrounded by stones, knocking her back.

Ogerpon went for her attack , this time managing to strike Shaymin back to Y/n knocked out.

Recalling Shaymin, Y/n sent out Milotic. "Hydro pump!"

Milotic fired a powerful stream of water at Ogerpon, causing crystalized mask and the casing on Ogeron shattered, returning the mask to normal size. Still having some fight left, she donned her teal mask before terastallizing once more. Numerous green leaves and vines grow out from behind the sides of the mask, the Terastal symbol appears in the crown jewel, two branching crystal horns protrude from the crown, and the mouth opens up wider in a terrifying grin.

"Ice beam!"

Milotic forms a light blue ball of energy in front of her mouth and fires multiple light blue beams of energy from the ball that pushed Ogerpon back before she managed to strike Milotic with her cudgel, knocking her out.

Y/n recalled Milotic before sending out Victini.

"V Create!"

Victini's ears ignite into flames. The flames then disappear, leaving a V-shaped yellow flame around her head and a red aura around Victini's body. Victini then rushes towards Ogerpon and headbutts her, causing a gigantic explosion. When it died down it revealed the crystalized mask and the casing on Ogerpon shattered, returning the mask to normal size. Seeing Ogerpon is finally out of gas, Y/n threw a Luxury ball at her

1...2...3 and Ping! And with that, Ogerpon was caught.

After being caught, Ogerpon entrusted Y/n with the Hearthflame Mask, Wellspring Mask and Cornerstone Mask. As Y/n and the others went to a Pokemon center to relax, he could only wonder what the future will hold as the journey continues.
