As Y/n and friends continue toward the Nacrene City Gym, they come across a group of kindergarten students who have befriended a Trubbish after rescuing it from a junkyard. The students want to keep it in their class, but their teacher, Daniela, will have no part of it! She thinks a Trubbish will be impossible to care for, as well as being unsafe for the class.

Ash offers to go and talk to the kids on behalf of their teacher, but when he sees how much fun the kids are having in their clubhouse—and how much they really care about the Trubbish—he ends up siding with them! When Daniela still refuses to allow Trubbish to stay, Ash challenges her to a battle. As they're about to begin, the secret clubhouse that the kids and Trubbish built out of junk starts to collapse!

Abandoning the battle, Ash and Pikachu attempt to help Daniela and her Deerling stop the clubhouse from falling down. As they struggle to hold up the toppling wall of junk, the Trubbish saves the day with a powerful series of Sludge attacks! Seeing how much the kids care about Trubbish and vice versa, the teacher reconsiders her position and asks Trubbish to stay with the class after all. And for his role in helping protect the children, Ash is given a mysterious Pokemon Egg!

After our heroes left, Y/n saw a trail sign pointing to a path. Y/n then followed it with the others close behind.

Y/n saw a alolan Rattata blocking his path, Y/n guessed it was one of the totem Pokemon's allies .

"Is that a Rattata?" Ash asked unsure.

"Yes, that Rattata is from the Alola region." Palutena explained " The Rattata population in Alola was booming until Yungoos was imported as a control measure. In order to avoid these new predators, Rattata altered its habits. It moved to more urban areas, became nocturnal, and formed large nests led by Raticate" 

Palutena then used her Rotom phone to scan the two Alolan Pokemon for the others. 

"Rattata and its evolved form, Raticate. The Mouse Pokemon. A Dark and Normal type. When they band together, they steal food from people's homes. Long ago, they came here to the Alolan islands aboard cargo ships, and eventually grew into the Pokemon we see today. The numbers of Rattata and Raticate eventually grew so large that Yungoos and Gumshoos were brought in from a different region to chase them off." The Rotom phone beeped.

"Y/n's more then capable to take out some pest." Koneko said.

"Lucario, battle time!"

Rattata fangs glowed as it went for a hyper fang.

"Dodge and use force palm!"

Lucario stepped aside before striking the mouse Pokemon with a glowing palm. This sent Rattata flying, when it landed it was down and out. It soon woke up and fled, allowing Y/n to advance.

Y/n soon encountered another Rattata, which went down to another force palm.

Soon a alolan Raticate appears, it's tail glows silver as it tried to hit Lucario with an iron tail. 

"Metal claw!"

Lucario's claw's extended while glowing sliver, it then clashed with Raticate's iron tail. After a few clashes, Lucario backflipped from the alolan mouse Pokemon.

"Aura sphere!"

Lucario creates a aura sphere before launching at Raticate, the attack hit it's mark and sent it flying. When it landed, it was down and out.

After reaching a large field, Y//n so the Z crystal at the other side of it on a pedestal. Y/n approached with caution, knowing a totem Pokemon isn't going let him have it without a fight.

Y/n the heard a cry of a alolan Raticate, a totem Raticate soon appeared from behind the pedestal and jumped in front of it, it's aura flared as it cried a challenge.

Y/n stuck with Lucario, knowing he's the best one for the job.

"Force palm!"

Lucario charged forward and struck the totem at a glowing paw, sending it sliding back a bit, it then tried to counter with hyper fang but Lucario quickly jumped back to avoid the attack.

The totem then called an ally Pokemon, a alolan Rattata.

"Brick break on Rattata!" 

Lucario hands glows white, and he karate chops the mouse Pokemon before it could counter. This knocked the Rattata out before he jumped back to dodge Raticate's hyper fang.

"Aura sphere!"

Lucario fired another aura sphere that knocked the totem back, but it was still able to keep fighting.

"Aura sphere barrage!"

Lucario created a large aura sphere before throwing it into the air, it then broke into many more normal sized aura spheres and rained down on the totem, kicking a large dust cloud. When it died down, it revealed the totem was down and out.

Y/n sighed in relive as his friends cheered from the side, Raticate soon woke up before giving a cry of congratulations before leaving. Y/n then went to the pedestal to retrieve the dark type Z crystal, the Darkinium z and attach it to his Z powered ring.

Our heroes decided to camp there for a bit,  they then let out all of their Pokemon for lunch. As they waited for Cilan to finish cooking, Koneko's  only Pokemon Eevee came up to Y/n before asking him something.

"What's that? How to evolve into a Sylveon you say?" Y/n asked and Eevee nodded.

"Eevee has been wanting to evolve for a while now, and she picked Sylveon as the eeveelution of her choice." Koneko explained.

"Does she know a fairy type move?"

 "No, not yet." Koneko said.

"You'll have to teach her one along with raising her friendship."

"Got it." Koneko nodded.

As Y/n helped his junior ( Koneko) is younger then Y/n by two years) help Eevee learn a fairy type move, Palutena explained to Ash and the others about the type itself. Iris was unnerved by the type as it's strong and immune to dragon types, but decided not to freak out like she does with ice types.

After a few minutes, Eevee successfully learned the fairy type move Baby doll eyes, soon Eevee glowed as she began to evolve. After the glow died down, it revealed a new Sylveon.

Y/n scanned the newly evolved Slyveon for the others.

"Sylveon, the Intertwining Pokemon and an evolved form of Eevee  A Fairy Tpe. Sylveon affectionately wraps its ribbon-like feelers around its Trainer's arm as they walk together."

As the others marveled at Sylveon, Y/n could only wonder what the future will hold as the journey continues.

Done and done, next time our heroes will meet a clumsy girl named Bianca who gives Ash and Y/n their badge cases, but due to them being to dirty, they were stolen by a Minccino.
