Our heroes are currently on their way to a Pokemon center to rest, they saw a Charmander on the path.

"Charmander the lizard Pokemon. A fire type. Charmander's health can be gauged by the fire on the tip of its tail, which burns intensely when it's in good health." Ash's Pokedex informed the group.

However the lizard Pokemon's tail flame was small, which means that it's not in good health, which worried the group.

The lizard Pokemon was waiting for it's trainer and refused to leave, as it believes it's trainer will return for it.

The two aura guardians didn't give it much of a choice though, as they used their aura to pick it up in a sphere before bring it to a Pokemon center nearby. 

After passing Charmander to nurse joy, the lizard Pokemon's trainer made himself known by bragging about tricking Charmander that he'll go back for him while having no intention of doing so. 

The angered our heroes, the two guardian's especially. They made their displeasure known by each making a aura arm and using them grabbing the smug trainer, who his friend's call Damian.

  While surprised at first, he lost his colors at the sight of the pissed of guardians. It's no secret  that aura guardian's have the same authority as the police and Pokemon rangers, Pokemon abuse and abandonment was enough of a crime to get ones trainer license revoked.

After handing Damian to officer jenny and Damian's friends captured for questioning, our heroes wonder how to tell Charmander the news about Damian's arrest. 

The lizard Pokemon was upset about the news, but cheered up when Ash offered him a spot on this team.

Damian's other Pokemon was taken by officer jenny and was given to the guardian's, the Pokemon were A Hitmonlee , Hitmonchan, a female Nidoran,  a Shellder and a black and white Zigzagoon.

After seeing the Zigzagoon Y/n called his parents about it, from Bea he learned that the Galar region also has it's regional variants. The Zigazagoon is a Galarian Zigazagoon.

They updated his Pokedex to scan Galar Pokemon and Galarian Forms, which he then used to scan Damian's former Pokemon.

"Zigzagoon the tiny raccoon Pokemon. Galarian Form. A dark and normal type.Its restlessness has it constantly running around.If it sees another Pokemon, it will purposely run into them in order to start a fight."

"Shellder the Bivalve Pokemon. A water type. This Pokemon's tongue is always hanging out.It uses its tongue with great dexterity to dig up sand from the seabed in its search for food."

"Hitmonchan the punching  Pokemon. A fighting type. And one of the three evolved forms of Tyrouge. Its punches slice the air. They are launched at such high speed,even a slight graze could cause a burn."

Hitmonlee the kicking Pokemon. A fighting type. And one of the three evolved forms of Tyrouge. This amazing Pokémon has an awesome sense of balance. It can kick in succession from any position."

Nidoran the Poison pin Pokemon. A poison type. Nidoran has barbs that secrete a powerful poison. They are thought to have developed as protection for this small-bodied Pokemon. When enraged, it releases a horrible toxin from its horn."

They decided to give the Pokemon to some of their friends. Misty got the Shellder, Iseult got Nidoran, Zizagoon went to Brock while Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee went to Bea.  

They left the next day, Y/n then noticed a trail sign pointing down a path.

Sighing, Y/n went down the path with the others following him. 

Y/n was greeted by the sight of a Hitmonlee waiting for him

He then saw a sign that says he needs to defeat three Pokemon before facing the totem. 

Using Articuno for the battle, since Articuno was already strong and with help form her trainer, the kicking Pokemon was down with one sky attack.  

They went to next area where a Hitmonchan awaits them, however one sky attack later it's was down and out.   

At the third area, a Hitmontop  awaits them. It gave Y/n and Articuno more of a challenge with moves like rock slide and brick break, but a well placed brave bird took it down.   

Y/n and the other then reached the final area, where the Fightinium Z can be found of a pedestal at the other side.

Y/n braced himself , knowing a totem Pokemon won't let him have it without a fight.

Suddenly a shadow appeared above Y/n, causing him to jump back as the totem Pokemon landed in front of him.

The totem was a Lucario, partners to most aura guardians. The reason that Y/n and Iseult  don't have one is cause they already have a partner.  

"Lucario the aura Pokemon. A fighting and steel type. And the evolved form of Riolu.  It controls waves known as auras, which are powerful enough to pulverize huge rocks. It uses these waves to take down its prey." Y/n Pokedex informed.

The totem flared it's aura before getting ready, Y/n and Articuno got ready as well, knowing one mistake can cost him the battle. 

"I hope Y/n and handle this." Iseult said worried.

"Come on have some faith well you?" Ash said while looking at her.

"I do! She snapped back. " But as an aura guardian, i know how powerful a Lucario is. It's a guardian's main partner, it reason we don't have one is we already have a partner of our own when we started. 

"Calm down, the both of you." Brock said defusing the argument. "Y/n needs to focus, and you two arguing won't help him." 

The two huffed, but remained quiet.

"Iseult has a reason to worry, one wrong move and it's over for him. Bea said, being a fighting gym leader, she knows how powerful a well trained Lucario can be.   

"Aerial ace! Y/n called out. Articuno flew at the aura Pokemon at high speed, hoping to get it first hit.

Lucario dodged that with detect before using force palm, which Articuno barley managed to dodge.

"Get to high ground, then use water pulse!" Articuno managed to escape higher  to the top before firing a sphere of water at Lucario.  

The attack hit, but Lucario shook of the attack before using  aura sphere, which Articuno used protect to block it. 

"Articuno! We need to go full power o this one!" Y/n call out to the freeze Pokemon who nodded.  

Before Y/n could do anything  Lucario called it's ally, a Riolu.  

Riolu then used a quick attack, which was countered with a aerial ace." Wing attack!" Articuno's wing glowed swapping at Riolu taking it out.  

Y/n and Articuno got ready to end this and one strike as the former placed the Flynium Z on the ring.

Articuno strikes a series of synchronized poses with its Trainer to build Z-Power.It then generates blue aura around itself before flying high into the air. Articuno then dive-bombs into the opponent below with sheer force.

The dust died down to reveal Lucario down and out, as the Z move was to much for it.

Y/n sighed in relive as he and Articuno slumped to the ground exhausted, his friends came to his side to congratulate him.

Y/n took the Fightinium Z from its pedestal  to add it to his ring, the totem gave Y/n a nod of respect before leaving.

Before our heroes left, two Lucario's jumped in front of the guardians. The lucario's became their Pokemon, they were to become the Pokemon of the two guardian's if Y/n was able to pass the trail.

Our heroes than continued on there journey to Vermillon
