On the way to Celadon city, our heroes stopped for lunch. Ash was sulking as the others from pallet has five badges while he only has three.

While eating, Pikachu noticed a Mankey nearby. It then hopped over Brock, wanting a rice ball. After it was given one, it sat on a nearby rock to eat.

Ash scanned the new Pokemon, wondering if he could catch it. 

"Mankey the pig monkey Pokemon.  Known for its superior footwork, it packs a powerful punch." His Pokedex said.

He was about to throw a Pokeball at it, but was stopped by Bea.

"That's not a good idea Ash, Mankey's are easily angered." Bea told him. "If you anger it, it will be near impossible to calm down." 

"Oh." Ash said as he listened, knowing as a fighting type gym leader, Bea knew what she was talking about.  

Unfortunately, their lunch was interrupted by team moron. The pig monkey checked him out in curiosity, only to be kicked away.

This obviously angered the pig monkey Pokemon, but team rocket was too stupid to understand what they did.

"Have the three of you lost your minds?! Misty yelled at them.

"Don't worry Misty." Bea said. "They'll be getting a beating of a lifetime for that stunt."

Team rocket raised an eyebrow at that, when they asked what she meant. She merely twirled her fingers signaling them to turn around, which they did and saw that Mankey has evolved into Primeape.

"Crap! It evolved!" Ash said as he scanned the newly evolved Pokemon.

"Primeape the pig monkey Pokemon. If you make eye contact with this evolved form of Mankey it will chase you forever."

"Chase us forever?" Misty yelled in horror. 

Unfortunately, the Pokedex wasn't finished yet.

"Once it Primeape begins it's strongest attack thrash, it goes completely out of control." The device continued.

"Crud!" Y/n said.

Jessie tried to shoo Primeape away, but the pig monkey Pokemon merely punched her face first into a nearby rock, the other two tried to help, causing a all out melee.

While four was fighting in the all out melee, our heroes decided to back away. Unfortunately Primeape made quick work of team rocket and was now chasing them.

When it tried to pounce on Brock, Iseult quickly created a shield to block it.

No matter how hard it tried, Primeape was unable to break though the shield.

"Iseult, let me handle this." Ash said while pulling out a Pokeball.

"Your sure?" She asked. Getting a nod. "Then go for it!"

She lowered the shield after Brock moved away, Ash then sent out Charmander.

"Flamethrower!"

Charmander blasted a stream of fire at Primeape, who dodged and used mach punch.

"Dodge and use inferno!"

"Inferno? That's a high leveled move." Bea said in slight surprise.

"We were surprised too, but Charmander managed to master it in a few hours." Y/n explained.

Charmander fired a ball of flames that hit it's mark, Primeape  cried out in pain as it was burned.

"Now dragon rage!"

Charmander fired a green ball of energy at Primeape, which managed to knock it back.

Seeing that Primeape is been weaken enough, Ash threw a Pokeball at it.

1..2..3 and with that Primeape was caught.

"I got a Primeape!" Ash cheered with a pose. "Pi Pikachu!" Pikachu cheered along with him.

They noticed their closer to Celadon because of the chase, but Y/n noticed a trail sight nearby. He sighed, hoping it will be the last big event of the day.

 Walking down the trail path, Y/n saw three familiar Pokemon form Alola.

"Who are those Pokemon?" Ash asked.

"I don't know, but they look like Marowak." Brock said.

"Marowak, Alola Form. A Fire and Ghost type. The bone Marowak holds is precious to it and its greatest weapon. It uses the bone as a torch to unleash its attack." Y/n's Pokedex said.

"So they're  Marowaks from the Alola region." Brock said .

Someone appeared and explained the trail to Y/n, the three Marowaks will dance and pose twice, and he must find the difference of the two. And he must do this three times.

The first round began, Y/n paid attention to the Marowak as they danced before posing, they held it for a second before dancing and posing again.  

"The one at the middle." Y/n said pointing at the posing different .

"Correct, Marowak come!" He said as the Marowak attacked.

Y/n sent out Gyarados, who knocked it out with a aqua tail.

"Marowak was so pleased by your right answer it simply had to battle you." The man  said.

"What kind of reason is that?" Our heroes thought with a sweatdrop.

The second round begin, they once again danced before posing, with a hiker appearing from nowhere. They danced and posed again, 

"The hikers eyes?" Y/n said unsure.

"Correct! Come my dear hiker!"

"Alola!" The hiker cried out.

The hiker sent out a Magmar, which  was also taken down with a aqua tail.

"My hike friend was so pleased by you right answer he simply had to battle you." The man said.

Our heroes sweatdroped again, but didn't say anything.

The third round, the hiker and two of the Marowak posed as the third took a picture, they posed again, but with the totem posing behind them.

"The totem." Y/n said simply.

"Correct! Totem come."

"Hydro pump!

Gyaados fired a blast of water at the totem, but it used it's bone to defend.

The totem then called it's ally, a Salazzle.

"Salazzle, the Toxic Lizard Pokemon. A poison and fire type. And the evolved form of Salandit. Its poisonous gas contains lots of pheromones that attract male Salandit." Y/n's Pokedex beeped.

"Waterfall!" 

With great speed, Gyarados rushed at Salazzle, quickly knocking it out.

Marowak used  will lo wisp, which burned Gyarados.

"Let's go Gyarados!" Y/n said getting ready for a Z move.

Gyarados roared in agreement as he also got ready.

Gyarados strikes a series of synchronized poses with his Trainer to build Z-Power,  wave appears behind it that floods the area . He then swims through the body of water,  becoming covered in a light blue torrent of water in the process. He then swims in a circle, creating a vortex of water which attacks the opponent.  

When it died down, Marowak was down and out. 

Y/n sighed in relive as his friends cheered, the man gave Y/n the fire type Z crystal, the firuim Z. 

A few hours later, they reached Celadon city. They went to the Pokemon center to rest, as Y/n and Ash has a gym battle  tomorrow. The journey continues.
