Y/nand his friends arrive at Ambrette Town and are met with a view of the sea. As Bonnie and some of the group's Pokémon play in the ocean, Serena suggests the group visit the Ambrette Aquarium. There, they are told they can see many Water-type Pokemon from different regions, and Bonnie asks the aquarium receptionist to marry her brother. The group looks through the exhibits inside the aquarium, and while they look at the Magikarp exhibit, an old man tells them interesting facts about Water Pokemon. He then takes them to see the statue of the Golden Magikarp. When Ash asks about it, the man tells them to go to the director of the aquarium, who is sitting on the beach, for more information about the statue.

Down on the beach, the aquarium curator introduces himself as Rodman and his partner, Clauncher. He says he is trying to fish for the real Golden Magikarp. He tells the group of an ancient legend. At a time when deep diving was popular, a fisherman was electrocuted by a Starmie, but was saved from drowning by a giant, golden, Magikarp. Since then, there have been occasional reports of the Magikarp being seen again. The curator's dream is to capture the Golden Magikarp so that it can be viewed in the aquarium.

Up on shore, Rodman releases his latest catch, a normal Magikarp back into the ocean, and the travelers offer to help him. He gives our heroes fishing rods, and Ash offers to teach Serena how to fish. Later, Serena reels in a Corsola, but fails to capture it. Bonnie and Dedenne attempt to play with Clauncher, but soon it and Dedenne begin to fight, and Rodman tells them that it is not very friendly.

Y/n suddenly felt a bite. "Woah, i got something." Y/n said as he pulled on his rod, trying to reel the Pokemon in. "Woah! That's strong!" Soon a large shadow started to form as the Pokemon was coming closer to the surface. "It's putting up one mean fight!" Y/n said while moving the fishing rod around, using aura to increase his strength. 

With a hard yank, Y/n managed to reel it the Pokemon, the water erupted as everyone covered themselves from the force. Once everyone looked, they see a Pokemon no one expected. It was a Shiny Milotic.

"Who's that Pokemon?" Serena asked in awe as scanned it with her Pokedex.

"Milotic, The Tender Pokemon. Milotic is said to be the most beautiful of all the Pokémon. It has the power to becalm such emotions as anger and hostility to quell bitter feuding." Her Pokedex beeped.

They saw the tender Pokemon was badly injured, so Y/n got to work healing it while Carmilla kept a look out for the ones responsible, soon she sensed something. She sent out her Hydreigon.

"Dragon pulse!"

Hydreigon forms a ball of multicolored energy in all three of its mouths and fires a multicolored dragon-shaped beam of energy from them at where Carmilla pointed, piercing and destroying a submarine that held a group of Pokemon poachers along with team rocket's gold Magikarp submarine that wasn't too far behind it. This sent the latter blasting off while the poachers were sent crashing to shore. The poachers got out from the wreaked submarine, only to be tied up by aura chains before they could recover. They were sent to officer Jenny while the Milotic was sent to the Pokemon center to rest.

When the sun sets, the fishers decide to call it a day, and Rodman lets the travelers keep the fishing rods. As they thank him, the real Golden Magikarp leaps from the water. Rodman is thrilled to have finally caught sight of it and promises to have captured the Golden Magikarp by the next time the group visit, and waves them off.

As they rested a the Pokemon center, Y/n received a map to his next trail, he left for the trail with his friends following him. They found the trail sight near the docks. The trail sight like a construction site, Y/n has to take moving platforms to get to the top.

As Y/n made his way up, he encountered a Magneton, so he sent out Ceruledge.

"Bitter blade!"

Ceruledge's arm blades become covered in purple fire and she slashes the Magnet Pokemon with them, leaving behind a purple trail of energy. It managed to tank the attack with sturdy before firing a flash cannon.

"Dodge and flame charge!"

Ceruledge dodged the attack before surrounding herself with flames before charging at Magneton, knocking it out.

Y/n and Ceruledge both climbed further up, encountering a Steelix along the way.

"Flame charge! Hit and Run!"

Ceruledge surrounded herself with flames before rushing at Steelix. She then used the surroundings to strike the iron snake Pokemon from multiple angles. Steelix tried to counter with iron tail, but Ceruledge was too fast for it, it didn't take long before it was knocked out.

Reaching the top, he saw a pedestal with the steel type Z crystal, the Steelium Z was at the other side. Suddenly, a totem Togedemaru landed between him and the pedestal, it's aura flaring.

"Swords dance!"

Ceruledge slashes her arms about and multiple light-blue swords circle around her. The swords stop and point towards Ceruledge , end first, before disappearing. A yellow aura goes upwards along her body, boosting Ceruledge's attack power.

"Bitter blade!"

Ceruledge's blade grew before charging at the Roly Poly Pokemon, but Togedemaru curls up and reveals its spikes. Not only that block the hit, but the spikes delt some damage.

"Flame charge!"

Ceruledge surrounded herself with flames before rushing at the Totem, knocking it back and increasing her speed. The totem then let out a cry, summoning a ally Skarmory.

The armored bird Pokemon used torment, stopping Ceruledge from using the same move twice in a row.

"Shadow claw then bitter blade!"

Both of Ceruledge's blades become surrounded by a black aura with a purple outline. She then slashes Skarmory with them before her blades become covered in purple fire before slashing Skarmory, knocking it out.

"Swords dance! Then flame charge!"

Ceruledge increased her attack once more before surrounding herself with flames before rushing at Togedemaru, dodging it's zing zap before hitting her mark and knocking it back.

"Bitter blade!"

Ceruledge's  become covered in purple fire before slashing at the totem , knocking it back and kicking up a cloud of dust, when it died down, it revealed Togedemaru was down and out.

Y/n sighed in relive as it was over, the totem woke up and gave him the steel type z crystal, the Steelium Z. It then gave a cry of congratulations before leaving.

As Y/n descended the trail sight, he could only wonder what the future holds as the journey continues.
