The group enters a new town and spots a sign advertising an unofficial Gym that claims to house the world's most powerful Pokemon. As Y/n and his friends arrives, a Trainer rushes his way out, angrily proclaiming that the Pokemon in question wasn't normal at all, making Ash's desire to defeat the Gym grow. As he issues his challenge, a Trainer named Anthony confidently accepts it, along with his Pelipper.

But before they could start, Anthony revealed he had another challenger scheduled and Ash had to wait, much to the Pallet's trainer's annoyance. Soon said challenger arrived, causing Y/n and Xenovia's to look at her with surprise. It was a master guardian and a teacher of the guardian school, Pneuma.

She sent out her own Lucario while Anthony sent out his Pelipper.

"Pelipper, the Water Bird Pokemon. Pelipper carry small items in their mouths over long distances and, when tired, rest floating on the water." Ash's Pokedex beeped.

"Now Pelipper, flamethrower!"

To most of our heroes surprise, Pelipper actually fired a stream of flames from it's beak at Lucario who dodged without command.

"That's impossible! There's no way for Pelipper to use flamethrower! It should only be able to use water and flying type attacks!" Max shouted in disbelief.

"Not exactly Max, but your right about one thing, Pelipper should't be able to use flamethrower." Xenovia said suspicious.

Y/n was silent as he watched with crossed arms, his ears twitched as he could have sworn he heard a opening of a Pokeball when the attack was called.

"Could it be...?" Y/n thought, remembering what Ash's Pokedex had informed them.

"Thunder punch."

With surprising speeds, Lucario closed the gap before striking the water bird Pokemon with a lighting infused fist, knocking it to the ground. And to almost everyone's surprise, a Magby and a bunch of Pokeballs spilled out of  Pelipper's beak.

"So that's what's going on, the reason Pellipper could use use moves it normally can't is the Pokeballs in it's beak. Each containing a small Pokemon to use a move it can't learn normally." Xenovia said in realization.

"I thought so."

"Y/n, you knew?" Max asked him in confusion.

"Kinda, some aura guardians like myself have sensitive senses. When he commanded Pelipper to "use" flamethrower, i heard the sound of a Pokeball opening ."

Anthony was worried that his secret is now out, but before he could say anything, team rocket was at it again. But before Y/n and the others could send out a Pokemon, Pneuma signaled them to stand down. They were surprised, but did so.

With her help, Anthony was able to deal with them and send them blasting off. Afterwards, Anthony ultimately decides to close his Gym down and plans to use Pelipper fairly, as it was powerful even without the Pokeballs in its mouth.

Before our heroes could hit the road again, Pneuma requested Y/n and Xenovia to come with her to the Paldea region. Confused, but the two younger guardians agreed.

With a Alakazam, they appeared in Paldea's Naranja academy. There, they met with it's headmaster, director Clavell. He requested that they go to the Glaseado Mountain, where many Pokemon were rampaging. 

Once they arrived, the guardian trio split up, Xenovia took east,  Y/n took west and Pneuma  searched the caves.

As Y/n searched, he saw everything around him was covered in ice. Like something was using ice beam to freeze anything in sight. He soon saw a old friend of his facing a Pokemon he doesn't recognize. 

This was Lumine a fellow aura guardian, she had her Eevee against what looks like a dragon type Pokemon. And oddly, said dragon Pokemon looks crystalized and was a gem that looks like the head and wings of a dragon on it's head

Lumine is from Genshin impact.

Y/n quickly sent out his Lucario. "Close combat!"

Lucario jumped between the two before unleashing a barrage of attacks on the Pokemon, pushing it back. Y/n quickly rush to Lumine to check up on her.

"You okay?"

"I'm fine thanks for the save."

"Where's Aether?" Aether was Lumine's twin brother, those two have a .... unique way of showing their bond at times.

"He's currently somewhere else in Glaseado .  I said i can handle this and told him to handle another area, but knowing him, he's not in a better position then i am."

"Typical, anyways, lets talk about it after we handle our current situation." Y/n said as the dragon Pokemon began to get up.

"Agreed."

"Fill me in, what Pokemon is that ?"

"That's a Baxcalibur, a Dragon and ice type and the pseudo-legendary Pokemon of Pladea." Lumine explained. "Right now it's Terastallized. When Terastallized, that Pokemon becomes purely that type, and gets a boost with using a move of type. And any duel types will become only it's Tera type, for example, if your Lucario has a fighting Tera type, it loses it's steel typing and becomes pure fighting while Terastallized. Not to mention, if it's tera type matches one of it's original types, it's stab moves get a boost."

"Judges by it's gem, it's a dragon tera type?"

"Bingo, so it's dragon moves get a big boost."

"And if i understood your explanation correctly, it means it lost it's ice typing. Dragon pulse!"

"Eevee copycat!"

Both Lucario and Eevee fires a giant multicolored dragon-shaped energy from their mouth at Baxcalibur who countered with it's own, but was overpowered and knocked back. And to Y/n's surprise, it's crystal casing suddenly shattered.

"This means it's weakened, here's your chance to catch it." Lumine told Y/n. " I already have it's first evolution, it's yours."

Y/n nodded and threw a Dusk ball at Baxcalibur.

1...2...3 and Ping. And with that, Baxcalibur was caught.

They quickly sensed where Xenovia is and rushed over, there they find her facing against a Terastallized Dragonite, and from what Y/n could tell from it's single-bladed axe like gem, it has a steel tera type.

"Aura sphere!"

"Helping hand!"

Eevee lays one of its front paws on Lucario causing to become covered in a multicolored aura, Lucario then fired a large then normal sphere of aura at the dragon Pokemon, hitting it hard due to it's current steel typing, knocking it to the wall and causing it's crystal casing to shatter.

"It's yours, you beat it." Xenovia said before Y/n could say anything.

Y/n threw a Dusk ball at Dragonite.

1...2...3 and ping. And with that, Dragonite was caught.

They then went searching for Aether, looking in the caves, they found him facing a Terastallized Garchomp with his own Eevee and from what Y/n could tell from it's water fountain like gem, it has the water tera type.

Y/n quickly sent out Regieleki. "Zap cannon!"

Regieleki puts its arms in front of it and creates a yellow orb of electricity with a black and white center in front of its body. It then separates its arms and fires the orb at Garchomp, knocking it back and paralyzing it.

"Thunderbolt!"

Regieleki  fires a powerful bolt of yellow electricity from its body at the mach Pokemon, the attack hit it's mark,knocking it to the wall and causing it's crystal casing to shatter.

Y/n then took the chance to throw a Dusk ball.

1...2...3 and ping. And with that, Garchomp was caught.

"Seriously Aether? Why didn't you use your Electabuzz? It's a water tera type" Lumine asked her older twin.

"He was exhausted from all the battles before this." Aether said.

"That's why i told you to catch more Pokemon, but no... you want to train up Electabuzz for evolution first." Lumine mocked.

"Hey! You don't have more then two Pokemon yourself!"

Y/n chopped both their heads to stop a incoming argument, while they do truly care for each other, they can get nasty in their sibling rivalry. 

"Well done everyone." Pneuma said as she dragged a tied up and unconscious man with her.

"Master Pneuma , is this the ones who's behind this?" Xenovia asked.

"Indeed, using a mind control device, he controlled Terastallized Pokemon to attempt to attack the towns and cities."

"And he chose Terastallized pseudo-legenderies as he main forces." Lumine realized. 

"That's why the Dragonite and Garchomp are here, i read their normally from elsewhere." Aether continued.

"Correct. Fortunately, he wasn't the brightest planner and he lost control of the three Pokemon Pokemon."  Pneuma nodded. "Now lets get him locked up."

After sending him to officer Jenny,  they decided to hang out at  Naranja academy for a bit before Y/n and Xenovia returns to Hoenn. As Y/n took some classes with the twins, he could only wonder what the future holds as the journey continues.
