Our heroes were currently in Petalburg Woods with Max who decided to tag along, May wanted to stop for lunch while Max wanted to see new Pokemon. Before the sibling can argue, Y/n decided to step in.

"Easy there you two, let's have lunch first so we don't have to look for Pokemon with an empty stomach." Y/n said.

They nodded, but there's one problem, They along with Ash forgot to bring any food! Pikachu went to get a Pokemon food container from Ash's bag..... only to find it empty much to his dismay.

Y/n was more prepared has he brought out some Pokemon food containers and poured some of it's contents for Lucario. He then brought out some sandwiches for himself and Xenovia. As they ate Y/n saw the others staring at them drooling, Y/n handed over a few more to them.

They took the sandwiches with a cheer while Y/n poured some Pokemon food for Pikachu, but before May could take a bite, it was snatched away by a Taillow, it was then followed by it's flock. 

Curious, Ash scanned the flock with his Pokedex.

"Taillow, the TinySwallow Pokemon. Taillow has a fierce personality, never backing down, even against the most powerful opponents."

"They must have smelt the food from Y/n's bag." Xenovia said she knows Y/n still has some food in his bag, and the flock TinySwallow Pokemon wants them.

"Guys get down!" Y/n said as he threw a heavy ball in the air and releasing Regieleki. The others did so as Y/n call out an order.

"Discharge!"

The electron Pokemon body's becomes surrounded in yellow electricity and it releases multiple bolts of yellow electricity from its body to the Taillow surrounding them. This managed to knock out most of the flock, but the one that took the sandwich from May managed to get back up.

"That one must be the leader of the flock." Y/n said.

"It must be, seeing it's the only one still standing after that discharge." Max said. 

"Sounds like my kind of Pokemon, i'm catching it." Ash declared before sending out Pikachu.

"Thunderbolt!"

Pikachu fired a bolt of lighting at Taillow who dodged before charging in with a quick attack and was countered with Pikachu's own.

"Use thunderbolt!"

Pikachu fired another thunderbolt at Taillow, it tried to dodge but the discharge from Regieleki from earlier had paralyzed it and the thunderbolt struck it's mark, kicking up a dust cloud.

When it died down, Taillow was still trying to get up. Ash took the chance to throw a Pokeball.

1...2...3 and Ping. And with that, Taillow was caught.

"I caught, a Taillow!" Ash cheered. "Pi Pikachu!" Pikachu cheered with him.

After Ash caught Taillow, it's flock managed to get up and attack our heroes to attempt to release their imprisoned leader.

"You think they leave us alone after beating the ringleader!" May shouted as they were being pecked.

*Regieleki! Get them off us with discharge!"

The lighting titan was about to unleash another discharge, someone appeared while sending out their Pokemon.

" Forretress explosion!"

A Forretress appeared and glowed white before exploding and kicking out a large cloud of dust.

"Come on, this way." ??? called out.

They followed ??? after Y/n recalled Regieleki, after they got far enough ??? is revealed to be Ash's old traveling companion Brock.

After introductions, Brock says  he wanted to travel with Ash again which the latter accepted.

Y/n then received a call from his xtransceiver, he picked it up to see B/n on the line.

"Hey Y/n, i  need your help here in Almia." B/n said.

"Has something happened?" Y/n asked.

"Well, Professor Hastings had three Rotom eggs that hatched about an hour ago, but their more then a  little mischievous." B/n explains. "They been possessing appliances. and causing massive trouble around the ranger union."

"Rotoms are naturally mischievous in nature." Y/n deadpaned. "I mean no disrespect to Professor Hastings, but he really should have seen that coming."

"In his defense, the eggs hatched faster then expected." B/n defended. " Anyways, we managed to capture and calm down two of them, but the third is proofed more crafty then the other two. We knew it was special when it was shiny, but it's also a very fast learner, learning from the other's mistakes to avoid getting caught." He explained.

"Oh boy, so your hoping to track it down by it's aura?" Y/n asked.

"Bingo, we're currently doing it best we can to prevent it from leaving the union so please hurry. I asked F/n to send his Alakazam to help send you here."

Said Alakazam appeared soon after, teleporting Y/n to the ranger union. When Y/n met up with his twin at the top floor, he then spread his aura across the entire building to scan it. He managed to track Rotom down to second floor before using a strong burst of aura to force the plasma out of the computers.

It then quickly possessed a washing machine that was nearby, turning into wash Rotom and fired a hydro pump at them, which Y/n created a barrier to block it.

"Guess it wasn't a good idea to leave the appliances laying around while the Rotom was still running wild huh?" B/n said sheepishly. Causing Y/n to facepalm.

Y/n then sent out his Lucario. "Hope  Professor Hastings doesn't mind if i catch it, cause it looks like it's the only way to stop it." 

"He said he needed only one Rotom anyways, go for it." B/n said.

"Lucario, use ice punch!"

Lucario's paw was surrounded by a light blue aura, it then tried to strike Rotom but the shiny plasma Pokemon jumped out of the washing machine and into a oven, turning it into heat Rotom before using overheat.

"Dodge and use foresight! Then aura sphere!

Lucario eyes glowed before firing a aura sphere at Rotom, it tried to flee into another appliance, but the aura sphere followed it and struck it's mark thanks to foresight .

Y/n then quickly threw a fast ball at Rotom. 1...2...3 and ping. With that Rotom was caught.

After putting the fast ball away, the rangers thanked Y/n before they began to clean up. B/n had offered Y/n some lunch before he returns to Hoenn which Y/n accepted. As the bothers  walked to  a cafeteria, Y/n could only wonder what the future will hold as the journey continues.
