Y/n was at the locker room preparing for his rematch with Raihan, once he choose his six Pokemon, he took a deep breath as he was called. He met with Raihan in the middle of the battlefield to shake hands.They then went to their sides of the battlefield before sending of their first Pokemon.

"Lets go Torkoal!"

"Regirock battle time!"

Torkoal's drought activated, causing the sun to become harsh.

"Solar beam"

"Dig!"

Torkoal absorbed sunlight before firing a green beam of light at Regirock who dodged by jumping, it then spins extremely fast, drilling into the ground with its feet. It then resurfaced bellow Torkoal, knocking it into the air.

"Body press!"

"Hyper beam!"

Torkoal fell towards Regirock, but the rock peak Pokemon charged up a orange beam and fired it at the coal Pokemon, knocking it out of the air. When it landed, it revealed Torkal was down and out.

After recalling Torkoal, Raihan sent out a Goodra.

Y/n also recalled Regirock, before sending out another Pokemon.

"Regice battle time!"

"Rain dance!"

"Zap cannon!"

Goodra let out a cry as clouds began to from and rain began to pour, but Regice puts its hands in front of it and creates a yellow orb of electricity with a red center in front of its hands. It then separates its hands and fires the orb at the Dragon Pokemon, paralyzing it.

"Thunder!"

"Ice beam!"

Goodra tried to use it's attack but wasn't able to has it was fully paralyzed, Regice fired three light blue lighting bolts it, pushing it back.

"Ice punch!"

Regice's fist glowed light blue before it struck Goorda, knocking it back to Raihan knocked out.

After recalling Goora, Raihan sent out a Turtonator.

Y/n recalled Regice before he once again sent out Regirock.

"Sunny day!"

"Stone edge!"

"Shell trap quickly!"

Turtonator let out a cry to caused the sun to become harsh. Regirock holds out its arms and three small light blue circles appear in front of them. The rings glow white and form into stones the same color as Regirock. The stones then fire at the blast turtle Pokemon, before they hit, it turned around, causing the stones to hit the shell and the spikes on it to fire at Regirock, this knocked Regirock back, but it shook off the hit.

"Now dragon pulse!"

"Dig!"

Turtonator fired a multicolored dragon-shaped beam of energy at Regirock who dodged it by digging underground, it then resurfaced and struck the blast turtle Pokemon on the hole on it's chest knocking it back. 

"Stone edge!"

Regirock fired another barrage of stones that hit their mark, kicking up a cloud of dust, when it died down, it revealed Turtonator was down and out.

Raihan recalled Turtonator and sent out a Flygon.

"Sandstorm!"

"Stone edge!"

Flygon's wings glowed before it flapped them, kicking up a sandstorm. Regirock fired another barrage of stones,  but the mystic Pokemon quickly dodged them.

"Earthquake! Then dragon claw, back to back!"

Flygon slammed it's tail on the ground, causing it to shake violently and damaging Regirock. A light-green aura forms around each of Flygon's hands and they turn into a claw-like shape. Flygon then strikes Regirock in a hit and run tactic, soon a final hit knocked Regirock out.

Y/n recalled Regirock before he once again sent out Regice.

"Hail!"

"Earthquake!"

Flygon once again slams it's tail on the ground, shaking it violently. damaging it as Regice let out a cry while glowing light blue, causing it to hail. Regice then glowed green slightly as it's ice body activates.

"Earthquake!"

"Blizzard!"

Regice holds its hands in front of it, then opens them to a 'T' formation and releases a blizzard from its body at Flygon. Because hail was up, the mystic Pokemon was hit head on, knocking it to the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust, when it died down, it revealed Flygon was down and out.

Raihan recalled Flygon before sending out his Duraludon.

"As strong as ever, but i won't give up that easily, time to Gigantimax.

Raihan recalled Duraludon into it's Pokeball before charging it with energy, it then grew into a beach ball sized premier ball before Raihan threw it behind him. The premier ball brust open, letting out a Gigantamaxed Duraludon.

"Zap cannon!"

"Max Rock fall!"

Gigantamax Duraludon makes a giant stone slab rise from the ground. The slab then falls onto Regice who managed to tank it before firing a yellow orb of electricity with a red center in front of its hands at Duraludon who got paralyzed by the hit. The Max move also caused a sandstorm to start.

"Max Steelspike!"

"Hyper beam!"

Regice lifts it's arms and an ball of energy appears in between them. It then brings its arms forwards and fires an orange beam of energy from the ball at Duraludon, this knocked it a step back before it slams its hands onto the ground, creating a series of jagged gray spikes that extend forward and strike Regice, the attack hit it's mark, kicking up a large cloud of dust, when it died down, Regice was down and out.

Y/n recalled Regice before sending out Regidrago.

Y/n then recalled Regidraco into it's Pokeball before charging it with energy, it then grew into a beach ball sized premier ball before Y/n threw it behind him, the premier ball burst open, letting out a Dynamaxed Regidraco.

"Max Wyrmwind!"

" G-Max Depletion!"

Both attacks clashed and caused a massive explosion that shook the stadium, when it died down, it showed both Pokemon back to normal and Duraludon was down and out.

Y/n sighed in relive as both sides recalled their Pokemon, after shaking hands with Raihan, Y/n returned to the locker where he got a call from his X transceiver. Picking up, he saw it was Camilla, a master guardian and Y/n's self proclaimed big sister.

"Hello little brother, i saw your latest battle, congratulations on your win."

"Thanks master Camilla, is there a reason of you calling me?"

"There is, i would like you come to the crown tundra."

"Understood."

After informing his partners and siblings, Y/n teleported to the crown tundra, when he got there, he saw Camilla along with other guardian in training, Sona stiri.

"Welcome little brother, this is the Dyna tree." Camilla said as she shows them a large tree. "You see, rumors speak of the legendary birds gather in the region's crown tundra every several decades." She explained. "Here one comes now."

Soon came a black Pokemon, Y/n could't really recognize.

"Is that Moltres?" Y/n asked unsure.

"Indeed, to be more specific, this is a Galarian Moltres."

"I didn't know Moltres have a regional form, does that mean that.." Y/n said in surprise.

"Indeed, Zapdos and Articuno has a regional from as well." Camilla nodded. "In fact, here comes Zapdos now."

A slight rumble was felt has something headed their way, Y/n carried Sona bridal style before jumping out of the way of the Galarian Zapdos. It was orange instead of yellow and was running instead of flying. It tried to kick the Galarian Moltres but it dodged and fired some black flames as a counterattack, Galarian Zapdos dodged before dodging a beam from another.This was Galarian Articuno, it's mostly purple instead of blue and was floating instead of flying.

But before they could clash, Camilla's phone suddenly rang, causing the trio to stop before scattering.

After they left, Y/n and Sona noticed their current position before the latter jumped out of the former's arms. Both were embarrassed and the giggle from the older guardian made their faces redder as it let them know she saw that.

"The one who called me was a man named Peony, he was the one who informed me about the legendary birds." Camilla explained." We're going to track down and capture them as i heard rumors of poachers that are after them."

"Understood, but why us specifically?" Y/n asked.

"For Sona, she's one of our brightest minds. As for you little brother, of the guardians students, your the best at catching Pokemon."

"That's true, every time you joined a catching contest. you always win. Your just that good." Sona agreed.

"If the two of you say so, let's find them."

They found Articuno at the snow parts of the tundra, when it saw them, it split into three clones to try and confuse them, unfortunately for it, such a trick is useless against a group of aura guardians. Camilla sent out her Salamance who used dragon claw to knock down the real Articuno, before it the the galarian form could react, it was hit by a dragon pulse.

Seeing the chance, Y/n threw a dusk ball at it.

1..2..3 and Ping. And with that Articuno was caught.

Next was Zapdos that was running around in the wild area, thanks to Sona, they managed to corner it, Y/n was able catch it in a dusk ball when it was exhausted from running.

Finally they found Moltres near the dojo at the Isle of Armor, where it was captured in the net of the poachers Camilla mentioned. Before Y/n and Sona could step in, Camilla calmly walked to the poachers . When she was noticed, the leader opened his mouth to say something but Camilla merely waved her hands, unleashing a wave of aura that knocked the poachers to the side.

Y/n quickly used his aura chains to capture the poachers while Camilla and Sona freed Moltres from the net. Seeing it was injured greatly, Camilla had Y/n capture it to take it to the Pokemon center. 

After dropping of the poachers of the off with officer Jenny, they went to a Pokemon center to rest before they return to Wyndon Stadium. As they waited for Moltres to heal, Y/n decided to scan his newest Pokemon.

"Articuno, Galarian form. The Cruel Pokemon, a Psychic and Flying Type. Its feather-like blades are composed of psychic energy and can shear through thick iron sheets as if they were paper."

"Zapdos. Galarian form. The Strong Legs Pokemon. A Fighting and Flying Type. One kick from its powerful legs will pulverize a dump truck. Supposedly, this Pokemon runs through the mountains at over 180 mph."

"Moltres, Galarian form. The Malevolent Pokemon. A Dark and Flying Type. This Pokemon's sinister, flame-like aura will consume the spirit of any creature it hits. Victims become burned-out shadows of themselves."

Once they were informed that Moltres will  make a full recovery, the guardians decided to have dinner. As they ate, Y/n could only wonder what the future holds as the journey continues.
