Y/n was in the locker room sorting which of his Pokemon he will use against Nessa, after picking the six he'll use, he took a deep breath as he was called. He met with Nessa in the middle of the battlefield to shake hands.

"Let's have a good battle Nessa."

"Likewise."

After they went to their side of the battlefield, both sent out their Pokemon.

"Toxtricity battle time!"

"Golisopod go!"

"Discharge!"

"First Impression!"

Golisopod quickly dashes right in front of Toxtricity  so fast it seems to disappear for a second. It then strikes Toxtricity  with one of its claws. This caused Toxtricity to be pushed back before he unleashed a barrage of lighting bolts at Toxtricity . The hard scale Pokemon back suddenly went back to it's Pokeball and a Pelipper was sent out in it's place.

"Emergency Exit...."  Y/n thought, having faced a Golisopod before. 

Due to Pelipper's abilty Drizzle, it began to rain.

"Thunderbolt!"

"Taliwind!"

Pelipper flaps its wings, creating a swirling whirlwind around Nessa's side of the field before getting struck by a bolt of lighting, knocking it out.

Neesa recalled it before sending out a Barraskewda.

" Barraskewda, the skewer Pokemon. A water type and the evolved form of Arrokuda.  It spins its tail fins to propel itself, surging forward at speeds of over 100 knots before ramming prey and spearing into them." Y/n's Rotomdex beeped.

"Thunder punch!"

"Drill run!"

Barraskewda rotates its body quickly, with white lines swirling around its body, and charges at Toxtricity , the punk Pokemon tried to intercept with thunder punch  but the skewer Pokemon was far to fast, he was struck multiple times hit and run style before he was knocked out.

Y/n recalled Toxtricity. "With tailwind and swift swim, it's too fast for most of my Pokemon, in that case..." Y/n thought.

"Tyranitar battle time!" Y/n sent out his newest Pokemon he caught at the Dusty bowl before the finals.

Tyranitar sand stream caused a sandstorm to start. 

"Thunder fang!"

"Liquidation!"

Barraskewda became covered in water before charging at Tyranitar, the armor Pokemon managed to endure the hit before biting down on Barraskewda with fangs filled with lighting.  Tyranitar then tosses the skewer Pokemon back to Nessa knocked out.

After recalling Barraskewda, Nessa sent out her Seaking.

Y/n recalled Tyranitar before sending out his Lucario.

"Thunder punch!"

"Aqua ring!"

Water droplets form around Seaking's body, and they combine together to create three rings of water that surround Seaking's body. Lucario then quickly struck it with lighting covered paw, knocking it back, paralyzing it.

"Thunder punch once more!"

"Smart strike!"

Seaking's horn glowed and it tried to charge at Lucario but was stopped by it's paralysis and was struck by another thunder punch, knocking it out.

Recalling Seaking, Nessa once again called out her Golisopod.

"Swords dance!"

Lucario and Golisopod closes their eyes and meditates. Several blue glowing swords circle them and cross together. Lucario and Golisopod then glows red, raising their attack power.

"Liquidation"

"Block it, then calm mind!" 

Golisopod creates a sword of water in between its hands. It then slashes Lucario with the sword. The aura Pokemon blocked i before meditating, raising his special attack and defense.

"Meteor mash!"

Lucario's paws glowed white as he punched Golisopod into the air.

"Steel beam!"

An orb of bluish-silver energy forms in front of Lucario's hands. He then fires a beam of energy from the orb at the hard scale Pokemon before it can activate Emergency Exit. The attack hit it's mark, and sent it to the ground locked out.

Nessa then recalled Golisopod. "Looks like I'm down to one last Pokemon. I've been saving the best for last!" She then sent out her Drednaw.

Y/n also recalled Lucario to allow him some rest, he then sent out Lurantis.

"Flood the stadium and make it our ocean! Drednaw, time to Gigantamax!"

She then returned the bite Pokemon to its Pokeball, she then charged the ball with energy causing it to turn to a beach ball sized Premier ball before throwing it behind her. It then let out the Gigantamax Drednaw who roared.

Y/n copied her, he returned Lurantis to her Pokeball before charging it with energy, it turned to a beach ball sized Premier ball. He then threw it behind him letting out a dynamaxed Lurantis. 

"This is a little gift from us... I hope you can take it! G-Max Stonesurge!"

Gigantamax Drednaw slams its forelegs into the ground, creating a shockwave that travels towards Lurantis. When the shockwave reaches the Bloom Sickle Pokemon, a strong wave of water bursts out of the ground from underneath her, doing a solid amount of damage.

"Max Darkness!"

"Max Overgrowth!"

Gigantamax Drednaw releases a massive burst of dark energy at Lurantis. While Dynamax Lurantis summons multiple giant mushrooms around Drednaw. The mushrooms then release a bright light before exploding.

The attacks caused a massive explosion, kicking up a large dust cloud. When it died down, both Pokemon was back to normal, Lurantis was on her knee while Drednaw was knocked out.

The crowd cheered as both trainers recalled their Pokemon. They then met at at middle of the battlefield to shake hands.

"Congrats, once again you proven why your a champion."

"Thanks, your not so bad yourself."

"By the way, i heard from Sonia that your struggling to find balance between your roles as a model and a gym leader, try not to worry about it, just relax and be yourself, it'll be easier that way."

"Guess your right, thanks, i needed to hear that. Good luck against the others, i'll be cheering you on."

After he returned to the locker room, he saw his next opponent was Bea.  As he got ready for it, he could only wonder what the future holds as the championship continues.
