The aura guardian trio reached Monostoke after a few hours, they reached the hotel to rest before Y/n's gym battle. Isuelt and Igraine getting a new Pokemon each.  Both getting a Pokemon from M/n, Isuelt got a Riolu while Igraine got a Vulpix.

Y/n met with Marnie at the hotel, the duo were discussing about the gym battle ahead. The duo were interrupted by a Alakazam appearing.

The Alakazam belonged to F/n, he gave him a note that said to call his parents after his gym battle.

They decided to leave for Monostoke stadium, meeting Hop along the way. They put on their uniforms and wait for their turns.

First it was Hop, his team did well against Kabu's and managed to score a victory against the fire type gym leader. 

Next was Marnie, at first it look like she was going to lose, but she pulled a impressive  come from behind victory.

Y/n was next, he got ready as rumors say that Kabu is a roadblock for many gym challengers.

Y/n and Kabu stood at their sides of the field, Y/n brought out his Milotic while Kabu sent out Ninetales. 

"Flamethrower!" Kabu called out.

"Hydro pump!" Y/n countered. 

The attacks clashed at the middle, creating a cloud of steam.  

"Aqua tail!" Milotic surrounded her tail with water before swinging it at the fox Pokemon, who countered with a iron tail.

"Flame burst!"  Ninetales let out a burst of flame that hit Milotic, she winched but countered with a Hydro pump that sent the fox Pokemon back to Kabu knocked out.

Recalling Ninetales, Kabu send out a Arcanine. Y/n recalled Milotic before calling out his newly evolved Carkol.  The coal Pokemon evolved before they leaved Galar mine 2.

"Extreme speed!" The legendary Pokemon rushed at Carkol at great speeds, knocking it back before she could react. 

"Stone edge!" Carkol stomped on the ground, causing stone spikes to sent flying at the Legendary Pokemon. Arcanine tried to dodge, but one nicked its leg, causing the others their mark.

The dust cleared to show Arcanine trying to stand, but it soon stayed down. Bring Kabu down to one Pokemon.

Recalling the legendary Pokemon, Kabu brought out his final Pokemon. A Centisckorch. " I must  admit young man, i can see why you're the first Alolan champion." Kabu said with a smirk. " But i'm not going down without a fight, Centisckorch it's time for us to Gigantamax!"

"Gigantamax? Uh oh." Y/n said worried, knowing from the mess at Hulbury, a Gigantamax Pokemon are stronger then a Dynamax Pokemon.  And one trained by a gym leader is going to be tougher than a wild one.

Kabu recalled the Radiator Pokemon to it's Pokeball before charging it with energy, the Pokeball grew to a beach ball sized premier ball before tossing it behind it. It then let out the Gigantamaxed Centisckorch.

Y/n gulped at the sight of the Gigantamaxed Pokemon, he then recalled Carkol, before sending out Gyarados. The crowd  was surprised to see a shiny, Y/n decided to go all out, knowing it may be his only shot.

"Gyarados let's go!" Y/n called out while holding his keystone. Gyarados roared, getting ready as well. The crowd was excited on what the Alolan champion will do.

"You who has the strength to evolve even further. Y/n began. If you lend me your heart and trust, i shall lend you my strength and will!   The mega stone on Gyarados and Y/n's keystone let out four streams of light that started to connect to together as Gyarados's body began to glow and change.  Transcend though the boundaries that keep your true strength hidden away! Beyond evolution, mega evolve!!" As Y/n finished his chant, Gyarados has finished changing, his new form shined as the mega evolution symbol appeared for a second before fading away.

The crowd went wild of what they saw, they heard of mega evolution but this is the first time they seen one.

They decided to end this with one move.

"G max Centiferno!"

" Full power, hydro pump!" 

The attacks clashed, causing a massive explosion. The dust died down to reveal Gyarados panting and Centisckorch back to normal size and knocked out.

After the trainers recalled their Pokemon before meeting at the middle of the field, they both shook hands after Kabu gave Y/n the fire badge, which he attached to the ring.

After they left the stadium, Y/n went to the Pokemon center to contact his parents. He saw F/n's Alakazam next to a video phone.

Y/n called his parents who need his help. At the Unova region, a island called Milos island is dying out, and to make matters worst Tornadus the cyclone Pokemon and Thundurus the bolt strike Pokemon has descended on the island as some idiots broke the shrine wedges that kept them away. They tried to call Landorus, the only one that can stop the two, but the massive wind and thunder storm was making it impossible to reach Landorus's shrine.

Y/n was teleported to Milos after the call ended,  and the was greeted by his parents and the only human that lives on Milos Lewis. 

Y/n created a large aura barrier to shield the other as they make their way to the shrine. The summoning worked and Landorus was called forth.

The Abundance Pokemon tried to reason with the two, but they were being unreasonable, attacking with air slash and  hammer arm, Landorus held his own for a bit , but was hurt after getting hit by a hidden power and thunder.

Y/n was forced to catch Landorus as Lewis has run out of Revival herbs, Y/n used Lunala and Landorus who he used his aura to heal to stop the duo. 

Y/n caught the duo and with Landorus's help calmed them down, and the forces of nature help heal Milos island, returning it to the way it once was.

Y/n was sent back to Galar after things calmed down, he was met with his fellow aura guardians who were surprised of what happened while he was gone.

A few hours later they were on their way to the another wild area, before they were stopped by the first three gym leaders, wish him luck.  

They were on the second wild area and was setting up camp. What will they find in this wild area? Read to find out.
