Y/n has reached Monostoke grumpy, he lost count of how many Galarian Zigzagoon had tripped him just to pick a fight.

It got to the point that a Y/n very frustrated got Kommo-o to scare them off by clanging his scales.

Y/n went to the Pokemon center to rest and heal his Pokemon.

At the entrance he met a odd ball who calls himself ball guy, seems friendly enough ,even gave him a friend ball. 

He met Hop at the Hotel they will be resting until tomorrow, however when they reached the hotel they found a group that's causing trouble.

They call themselves Team yell, they reminded Y/n of Team skull, troublemakers at best.

 After making quick work of them, the reason of their actions showed herself.

Team yells was supporting a girl named Marnie, who was also in the gym challenge, although she doesn't want them going over the top.

After scolding them, the trio made their way to the  stadium to sign up for the gym challenge.

After it was over, Y/n was on his way to the Galar mines to get to the next gym.

When Y/n reached the entrance of the mines, he encountered a Pokemon that looks like living coal.

"Rolycoly the coal Pokemon. A rock type. Most of its body has the same composition as coal. Fittingly this Pokemon was first discovered in coal mines about 400 years ago." Rotom informed before going back to Y/n's bag.

Y/n was going to past it, but it seems that this one's looking for a fight.

 "Alright then Raboot, battle time." Calling out his starter.

"Ra!" Raboot cried out, ready for anything.

 Rolycoly used a smack down to try and deal and heavy damage, but Roboot merely jumped out of the way.

"Double kick!" Raboot got closed the gap before kicking the coal Pokemon hard twice.

The coal Pokemon winced, bit stood strong before going for a rapid spin.

"Counter with flame charge!" Y/n called out 

Raboot covered himself with flames before rushing at the in coming Rolycoly.

 The two clashed for a bit  before Raboot overpowered Rolycoly, sending it to the mines.

Running after them he was greeted to the sight if the Rolycoly trying to keep fighting, Y/n smirked knowing he coal Pokemon will be a great team member.

Y/n then pulled out a dusk ball before throwing it at the downed coal Pokemon, 1...2...3 and Ping and with that Rolycoly is caught.

Y/n then scanned his new recruit to learn that, Rolycoly is a female, it's level 10 and it has the ability steam engine, a ability raises the Pokemon speed when hit by a fire of water type move.

After traveling deeper into the mine, he encountered a fellow gym challenger, Bede if he remembered right.

 Y/n doesn't like the guy, one doesn't need to be a aura guardian to tell that Bede is extremely arrogant.

Y/n dislike for the guy shot to eleven when he thinks being connected to the chairman means he can do as he wants, he challenged Y/n thinking it will be a easy victory, but Y/n was going to give him a very hard reality check.

"Hattrem, bring us victory!" A small human like Pokemon that look like it wearing a large hat appeared.

"Hattrem the serene Pokemon. A fairy type. Using the braids on its head,it pummels foes to get them to quiet down.One blow from those braids would knock out a professional boxer." Rotom informed before shutting off.

 Y/n decided to knock his ego down a notch with one of his older Pokemon, normally he won't do something like this, but for some reason Bede really gets under his skin.

 "Drapion battle time!" The orge scorpion appeared with a roar, shocking Bede and Hattrem at the sight of a powerful Pokemon.

"Disarming voice!" Bede commanded, though Y/n could tell that his was not as confident as before.

Hattrem unleashed a sound wave at Drapion, said Pokemon just swatted the attack away with ease shocking both trainer and Pokemon.

"Poison fang !" With surprising speeds, Drapion garbed the serene Pokemon before chomping down with fangs filled with poison.

Since Drapion was far higher leveled, the serene Pokemon was down and out in one hit.

"H..how?" Bede said unable to believe he lost, in one move no less.     

"Next time, curb that ego of yours, there will be always someone stronger, underestimate your opponents and you'll lose before you know what happened." Y/n said while recalling Drapion.

As Y/n walked away form his stunned opponent, he stopped and look over his shoulder to properly introduce himself.

"Oh by the way, my names is Y/n L/n,an aura guardian and the first champion of the Alola region, remember that for our next meeting." Y/n said as he walked away.

If Bede wasn't shocked before, he's blown away at that. He was battling a champion? No wonder he lost in one move.

 Even he could tell that his Drapion was holding back a lot, and was not putting a lot of effort.

 Y/n saw a few Rolycoly and  Roggenrola  around, Rotom had informed him that the two are commonly found.

 Y/n was almost to  Turf field, before he exited the mine and into route four , Y/n was stopped by a voice he haven't heard from since guardian training.

" Y/n? Is that you?" A female voice said from behind him.

Y/n turned around to see a fellow aura guardian, one he's good friends with.

"Iseult? Well i'll be a Aipom's uncle, it's been years." Y/n said with a  chuckle.

Iseult is a 16 year old girl who just as tall as Y/n, light blue hair that was done in two buns at the side of her head. Tanned skin, white shirt,  blue jacket,black pants and light blue shoes. What caught the eyes of anyone who sees her are the two blue gauntlets she wears. These gauntlets are her weapons, they can extend into shields that can block anything. 

She's known for her defense, which are so strong evens master guardians shields are no match.

She revealed that she came to cheer him on,Y/n was happy to have her on board.

The duo was now on the way to Turf field for Y/n's first badge, how will it go? Read to find out.
