Two introverts: Tamaki × reader part 5

Weeks passed, and you were training. You saved people, and you weren't going to hide anymore. You had your best friend's playlist playing while you were training to be better. You walked with Tamaki a lot and let him talk and almost talked to him a couple of times, but you still couldn't bring yourself to do it. You didn't know what to say to him. Thank you; I didn't seem to cover what you wanted to say at all. He inadvertently saved your life and gave you that spark you had been missing for years.

Some people didn't bother you as much anymore since you were fighting back and doing everything you could to prove that you were done with their bull shit. No more hiding, no more thinking you murdered over a thousand people. It wasn't you. It wasn't, and you were never going to let it happen again. No more mopping around and no more feeling sorry for yourself. No more being stuck in the past. The way was only forwarded now.

You were pushing around a one-ton boulder as part of a test. You weren't going to use your wings or your armor. You were going to push it as is with a blindfold on, so you couldn't see the line. You weren't going to stop until you had no more strength left, and even if you didn't, you were going to keep going until your legs gave out. Even if that happened, you were going to find a way to push it.

"Hey y/n it's okay if you can't push that thing or move it don't know why they even have us doing this," Tamaki said as Mirio managed to move it and so did Nejire.

"It's a test to prove intelligence. If you can't push it, find a way to move it from that spot," you wrote as you gave it to him, then got out a blindfold.

"Um, blindfold?" He asked as you put earbuds in and nodded.

You went to the Boulder and put on a blindfold confusing a lot of people, but it was you.

"I can move mountains if I push through the obstacles. Out of sight out of mind. There is no line. You move it like you are moving it to save lives," you muttered to yourself.

Then, you started pushing it.

"Um Y/n that's enough," Tamaki said as you moved it from its spot, but there were lines on the floor for throwing things.

You only had to move it a couple of feet, but you weren't going to stop there.

"Y/n?" He asked if you were pushing it and leaving footprints on the floor from the sheer force you were putting behind it.

"Wow, she's going. Where is she going; exactly; she can't see...," Mirio said as class one came to see you all training and Eraserhead, and all might be shocked seeing you push it across the entire gym floor, which was two football fields long.

"Holly shit you see that?!" Kirishima asked as everyone was shocked. Tamaki was trying to get you to stop pushing it, but you weren't listening to him.

He even got in front of it to stop you, but you were taking him with you.

"Stop! Y/n stop!! You are going to hurt yourself! Stop it!" He begged as you dug deeper and pushed it more and harder.

You fell to your knees but caught your breath. Your body slammed that bolder and pushed on.

"Keep going. You are almost at the end of the gym!" Kirishima cheered as Decku stood there paralyzed with fear.

He didn't know what was driving you to do this, but whatever it was, there was no stopping you.

"Keep going!" Bakugo screamed as others started cheering to get you to keep going.

"Y/n! You're done! You moved it!" Tamaki yelled as he got out of your way as you hit the wall, making everyone scream in excitement!

You were trying to go through the wall and started cracking it so Tamaki took off your blindfold and took out your noise-canceling earbuds.

"Trying to destroy the place?!" He asked as you looked behind you to see how far you pushed it.

Your friends were cheering, and the teachers were shocked seeing you move that with only strength and none of the other parts of your quirk.

"Um, pass...," Fat Gum said as he was puzzled and shocked too.

"Holly shit! That was awesome!!!" Kirishima screamed as you sat down.

"Now what?" Tamaki said as you looked up at him.

"Thank you," you said softly as he sighed.

"No problem but -" he paused as he heard you say something.

"What did you say?" He asked as he looked at you wide-eyed.

"Thank you for saving my life, for never giving up on me, and for being my first friend in years," you said as he was taken back by you just speaking.

"You just talked," he said, "to me."

"About time, right?" You asked.

"I didn't do anything," he said.

"Yes, you did, and I'm living proof of it," you said as you got up and hugged him tightly.

"I know what you did to my pills. You put yourself in my shoes. No one has done that for me, ever," you said as he hugged you back.

"This is embarrassing," he said as his face turned red.

"It's only embarrassing if you make it. Come on we have a long way to go," he said.

"What about this bolder?" He asked.

"We can push it back," you said.

"We?" He asked.

"Don't worry, I'll do most of the work," you said as you turned into your Valkery armor and got on top of the rock.

You pushed it away from the wall and got behind it.

"Coming?" You asked as he blushed.

"You are making me feel weird about this," he said as you chuckled.

"Really?" You asked.

"Feel like you are going to kill me if I try to help you," he said.

"I won't come on," you said as he got behind the rock, and you kissed his cheek, making him dart out from behind the rock and immediately try to hide.

"Stop it!" He said as his face was so red he almost looked like he got punched in the face.

"Fine, just trying to boost your confidence. Mr. Shy. It's really cute. You're shy, by the way. I'm surprised you don't have a girlfriend," you said as he looked away.

"It's embarrassing! Plus, they scare me," he said.

"So I scare you?" You asked as he got behind the Boulder again.

"No, you just... make me feel weird. Mostly embarrassed," he said.

"Good weird or bad." You asked.

"I don't know. I haven't decided it yet," he said.

You two pushed the Boulder back and started talking immediately as you got there and took the notepad from Mirio and ripped it up.

You and Tamaki started talking with each other and sending texts back and forth at night. He didn't realize you were like Miro, but you were still somewhat introverted. You took him to a dinner that Leon and you went to often, but you stopped going to since he passed away.

"This is good," he said as he was shly eating his food.

"I'm glad, this was my favorite place to go after a tough battle. I should stop by my parent's place and tell them I decided to talk to people again. But she might think you are my boyfriend if I tell her I decided to talk to you first," you explained as he nearly spat out his food.

"Boy- Boyfriend?" He asked.

"Well, yeah, I never had one, so they will think you are. The only male friend I had was Leon," you said.

"I thought since you two were so close, he was your boyfriend," he said.

"What?! That man is into men. He's also like a brother to me. Well, he's actually into both but more men than women," you explained.

"Oh..." he said.

"What's wrong?" You asked.

"Nothing," he said.

"Tamaki, what's wrong?" You asked.

"Nothing... do you see me like that?" He asked softly.

"As a brother?" You asked.

"Yeah," he said.

"I'm not replacing Leon with you if that is what you are asking me. He's gone, and I know it. Nothing can replace him, not even you. I see you as my friend. I care about you, and if things change later down the road, then they do. I don't think I could date just yet. Sure, I'm fine now, but... I don't want any guy I date. I feel like I'm comparing them to him. I need a little more time. He was a huge part of my life, and I still have to figure out how to live without him," you explained as you felt a shiver go up your spine. Your hair started to stand up on your arm, and you immediately went to the window.

"Tamaki, get everyone out!" You screamed.

"What do you mean?!" He asked.

"This happened last time! He's coming back! That monster is coming back! Everyone out!" You screamed as you called Kirishima.

"The demon is back!!!" You screamed as your phone blew up in your hand and you turned into your angel armor and covered Tamaki.

Glass shattered as a blue light exploded and a massive shield came up Leon rolled outside of the shield as the massive demon stood in the center of the shield laughing.

"Nice try you pathetic excuse for a hero!" He bellowed as he looked around.

"Two years and yet again, no hero's in sight," he laughed.

"Y/n?" Leon asked as he weakly got up.

"No, this isn't right... where is my friend?" He asked as he realized he was outside the shield with perfect buildings inside.

"What happened to me?!" He asked as he tried to run, but he couldn't.

"No! No! Y/n Oh God, what did I do?! Y/n! I was gone just for a second, I swear!!!" He screamed.

"Leon?!" Kirishima asked all the heroes to start coming to the area.

"Who the fuck are you people?!" He asked.

"We are Y/n's friends," Kirishima explained.

"No I would know I'm her best friend she tells me everything!" He yelled.

"You have been dead for two years," Decku explained as he looked at them confused.

"No, I was gone for a second.... just a second. I had to push her out of the way her attack wasn't strong enough to stop him," he said as tears ran down his face.

"Wait, where is she?" Kirishima asked as people started to come to the shield.

"Don't let them touch the shield it devolves human flesh!" The outside is fine but not the inside!" He yelled as people were about to touch it.

"Don't touch it!" You screamed as you went to the shield and picked up a stick.

You touched the shield with it, and it immediately started dissolving it.

"It's just us," you said as you looked at Tamaki.

"We can't...." he said.

"I know.... we have to keep him in here until they break the shield. They break the shield, and it will take him a while to make a new one. Get all the people into the basements if you can or into one place. I'll hold him off," you said as he grabbed your arm.

"No, y/n... you can't," he said.

"I can't lose you like I lost Leon. Just keep everyone safe for me," you said as you saw your friends trying to break the shield.

"Why won't it work!" Decku yelled.

"It took everything I had as well as blue speed, and Valkery. I got hurt badly and I can't stay in this for too long. We need to find a way to break it again," he said as you walked into the middle of the street and saw the demon you were fighting two years ago.

"All healed up, two years I was stuck because of your fast friend. Well, I guess his sacrifice wasn't enough to hold me. I grew stronger, Valkery. All those people I consumed made me stronger, you won't walk away alive this time, little girl," he chuckled.

"I know, but neither are you," you said as you got ready to fight him.
