The Prostitute: Kyōjurō Rengoku × Reader part 2

Rengoku was in a hot spring with Giyu, Obanai, Gyomei Himejima, Sanemi Shinazugawa, Tengan, and Tokito, who had just become a hashira a couple of weeks ago at the age of fourteen.

"There have been more demons recently," Obanai commented.

"Yes, there has been, but don't worry, we have help now," Rengoku said happily as a crow came in with a letter.

"Tanjiro, you mean and the others?" Tokito asked.

"They are very helpful," Gyomei informed.

"We will see they aren't Hashira yet," Tengen informed.

"They are stupid. They won't live long," Sanemi informed them.

"I wasn't talking about them, I made a friend at a brothel. I spent the night with her and asked her to watch out for demons," Rengoku informed.

"You slept with a prostitute?!" They all asked, shocked.

"No, we didn't sleep," he chuckled.

"There is a child here," Tengen said, shocked.

"We played Go, and I'm sure she saved some people from getting hit," he said.

"So you are romanticly involved with a prostitute, I give it a week," Giyu said.

"I'm not romantically involved with her. She did, however, kiss me and turn my hair black so thieves would think I went somewhere else. I just wanted to ask her a few questions, and I don't think she knows demons are real," Rengoku said.

"I already don't like her," Tokito said.

"She could be a demon," Obanai informed him.

"She did say she ate a lot of men, but she isn't a demon. She can walk in sunlight," he smiled.

"So she's a cannibal?" Tokito asked.

"That's not at all what that means," Tengen said.

"That's disgusting! How could you be friends with someone who talks like that? She is not a lady," Gyomei informed him as he teared up.

"She's very kind. Also, we share the same interests," Rengoku informed them.

"If she is a demon, I will string her up and hang her," Sanemi said.

"She isn't a demon," he said as he opened the letter.

He could smell your perfume, and so could everyone else.

Tricky Samurai, let me know when you are going to be around next. I'll keep my room for you. Also, if your friends are around, let me know. I'll let them stay with me as long as they don't sleep with me.

Love Y/n,

Ps. Thank you for our night of fun. I never had so much fun with a man. Tell me what you like to eat and I'll make it for you next time you visit.

Rengoku smiled as everyone was trying to read over his shoulder.

"She smells weird," Tokito said as he read the note.

"Is that lipstick," Obanai asked.

"I think it's because she kissed me," he smiled.

"I used to know a girl named Y/n. She had a mean left hook and was equally as mean. She drowned in a river before she could be married off to one of my brothers. She wasn't obedient in the teachings, and I think that my father drowned her because she refused to follow the way the female ninjas were raised. I'm glad she went out that way instead of being beheaded," Tengen said.

"She did knock someone out, and I dropped him off in the ally for her," he smiled.

"She punched a guy that hard?" Obanai asked.

"Yes, before she head-butted him," Rengoku smiled.

For a whole month, you had been writing back and forth to each other, and you never felt better. He made the whore house you worked better in some weird way because he made you happy. You got a letter every other day to every three days depending on if he was busy or not. You kept every letter hidden, knowing if you fell in love with a man, you would probably be killed, or you would have to go on the run.

You had been standing at the beginning of the bad part of town; waiting for a visitor, but not just any visitor. It was Muichiro Tokito, one of Rengokus's friends. You and Rengoku never talked about work, so you two didn't know what you two did for a living. Sure, you were a prostitute but Rengoku saw more than that in you, thankfully. When you saw a boy with a sword and blue tired hair, you knew it was him. He was going to walk to town, but you got in his way.

"Move," he said as he looked at you with dull blue eyes.

"No, Rengoku told me you were coming and told me to show you the same curtsey I showed him. Hungry?" You asked.

"So you're the prostitute," he said as you smiled weakly.

"Yeah, I'm here," you said.

"I don't like or trust you," he said, making you smile.

"Good, then we have an understanding, don't we? " You asked.

"How so?" He questioned.

"Trust is earned, not given freely. I trust you because Rengoku does, and he had more than enough time to take advantage of me when we were alone together. He never did, so he earned my respect. So prove me right," you said.

"I still don't like you," he said.

"I don't like you either, but that's because I don't know you yet," you said.

"I should have taken the long way," he sighed.

"You don't have to stay with me. It's an option I'm willing to give you," you said.

"I think I'm going to go," he said as he was about to leave, but he looked at you and was kind of confused.

You didn't look like a prostitute nor did you act like one either. Rengoku seemed happy to get letters from you, so he wondered how you could make him happy if you were a prostitute. You didn't seem to talk dirty to Rengoku it was quite the opposite. It was boring stuff like the weather or Sumo wrestling matches. You two never talked about work ever, yet you talked about everything else. Plus, you sent him stuff all the time. It was the most healing herb since she thought they were regular Samurai warriors. You never asked for money or anything like that either.

"Okay, it's up to you," you said.

"I changed my mind. I will stay with you," he said as you were about to leave.

"Okay. Want me to make you something to eat?" You asked.

"You cook?" He asked.

"Yeah, Rengoku didn't tell you?" You asked.

"You can't cook! The only thing you are good for is sleeping around with men and draining them dry you whore!" His crow said making you ignore her.

"Don't you ignore me you-" she paused then screamed as you grabbed her out of the air.

"I'm sorry did you say something?" You asked.

"You heard me! Let me go, you filthy human!" She yelled.

"Well, I might or I might put you in a stew. Here's the deal I know my worth, and as a prostitute I do that at least to get laid and have thumbs. You may have wings, but you are useless when it comes to hand-to-hand combat. Also, may I add you are appernly slow. You're lucky I don't kill you, but since you are his pet, I won't. Insult me again, and you will end up in a stew," you smiled.

"You can't talk to me like that!" She yelled.

"Just did. You're annoying now shut up before I make you, I bet he found you on the side of the road because that's where most accidents happen nowadays, shut up or get eaten you little bitch!" you said as you looked at the bird with the most serious face scaring the bird.

You let her go, and she took off. You looked back at Muichiro and smiled.

"Come on, we will eat, and there is a festival we can go to," you smiled.

Muichiro was shocked that you grabbed his crow like that and even talked back to her to make her shut up. You had fast reflexes and mean comebacks. You meant business and weren't going to take anything lying down.

"This is good," Muichiro said as you smiled.

"Thank you, I got a whole day planned for us if you're interested. Boys should be having fun instead of being kept inside all day. Also, some of the girls are working right now. I would rather you not hear that," you said.

"Hear what?" He asked.

"I'll tell you when you're older," you smiled. You two were about to leave to go to the festival. He hid his sword in his clothing, and you got a long red string.

"What's that for?" He asked as you two were outside ready to go.

"Just a percussion. There are predators around here, and I would rather you not get taken, especially because you look like a girl from behind. They won't care," you said as you tied the string to your wrist.

"I can take care of myself," he said.

"Doesn't matter, my village, my rules," you said as you tied the string to him.

He was going to protest more, but there was no way you would be convinced. He sighed and walked close to you mostly because you had your hand on his shoulder. About halfway out of the bad part of town, a man approached you both, and you immediately put him behind you.

"Since when do you have a kid?" The man asked as another man showed up with an evil grin.

"My nephew, not my kid. Go before I make you," you said as Tokito was about to get out his sword.

A third guy tried to touch him, and you took out a knife that was in your hair and threw it into his shoulder. It wasn't enough to kill him or cause serious damage, but the position you put on it sure was going to make him hit the ground in a matter of moments. He fell to the ground unconscious, and the two men came after you, so you punched them both in the face as hard as you could, knocking out a tooth and making them both lay in the street unconscious. You picked up Muichiro like he was a small child and put him on your hip.

"Men suck, don't grow up," you said as he looked back at the men and was surprised you had that amount of strength in your punches especially punching two people at the same time like that.

He had a newfound respect for you and now knew you were going to have his back no matter what. You went to the festival then played some games and got sweets as well as toys. He said he was too old for toys, but you reminded him that he was still a kid and needed to be one once in a while. You came back after about six hours of fun and went back to the brothel before it got dark. You made paper planes with him and other origami things, including a crane. He threw the plans off the balcony, and you threw them right back. He seemed to be having fun, but his expression was still dull a bit. You knew why and weren't going to force him to be friends with you. People who went through a lot needed all the love they could get, and you knew it. When it got dark, you made shadow puppets on the wall and showed him how to do some as well while you talked about life and stuff like that.

"So how did you learn how to punch like that?" Tokito asked as he was getting ready for bed.

"Honest answer?" You asked.

"Sure," he said as he brushed his teeth.

"My dad used to hit me a lot as a kid. I was carefree, loved people, and trusted everyone when I was young. About the age of five, he made sure I knew never to trust anyone. Once I got big enough to fight back, I did. I learned how to punch him and how to get away if I ever got pinned or grabbed. He may have been an abusive ass who killed my best friend in front of me, but I learned how to be tough. By the way, my best friend was a bird a crow actually," you said.

"Have you ever thought about leaving this place?" Tokito asked.

"Yeah, but there is something I have to do first before I can ever leave this place. This is only temporary until I figure things out. Here, put this in your ears. This will drown out the sound of things you shouldn't be hearing," you said as you gave him earplugs.

"Thanks," he said as he put them in and went to bed since you wore him out.

You stayed up all night and covered up his ears a couple of times while you put your makeshift map out and a candle tracking people disappearing. So far, twelve girls have gone missing since you had been here, which was too many, but you didn't know where they were going or even if they were missing. Sure, you asked questions, but there wasn't much to go on. You heard a noise and immediately got out your crossbow, which had arrows dipped in poison, and hid it behind your back as you left the room.

Something was off, and you could feel it, but after looking around, you went back to your room and hid your crossbow again. You looked at the map and saw where girls were disappearing and tried to see if you could find the hot zone of the activity.

"Where are you hiding?" You asked softly as you heard moaning from the room next to you.

"Women also suck," you muttered as Tokito started moving in his sleep, so you put the map away and blew out the candle before giving him a stuffed animal that he won at the festival.

You smiled, seeing how adorable he looked, but today, you were never going to have a kid. You wanted one, but no guy was going to be willing to touch you after this. Oh well, at least you still had demon hunting.
