400 years ago.

"We are gathered here today to keep the God of death from entering our land. We have gathered the eldest children in the village. One male and one female with the strongest chakra. With their blood sacrifice, we shall have six months of peace," the leader said as you looked over at your boyfriend.

"Are you sure you want me to do this? I can't guarantee you will live through this," you said.

"This has to stop. You're stronger than I am. I'll hold them off while you seal that thing away. No matter what happens, I will always love and be by your side. In life and death," he whispered as you held his hand.

"Okay. If you die, how will I know it's you in my next life?" You asked.

"I'll keep you from doing something stupid, or I will be a teacher. I always wanted kids," he said as you nodded.

"I love you, Isic," you said.

"I love you too. Goodbye, see you in the next life," he smiled as guards made you both walk up to the altar.

He quickly broke away and started fighting your people. You quickly went to the preaist and stabbed him in the throat.

"You killed everyone!" The man said as the portal started opening, and the sheer force of it ripping open made you afraid, but you started to do a sealing ninjitsu.

The temple started rumbling, and people started screaming as they were finally going to put a stop to this. Isic saw people about to kill you, so he quickly went to your side and was impaled by spears as words started wrapping around your body. The pillars started shaking, and everyone started running away in pure fear.

"I will... be a teacher.... I will be... I will be... here for you always," he said as he fell dead next to you, and blood started coming down your face.

Your body started getting cuts as you were sealing the monster away. The building started shaking violently, and the roof started falling in.

"See you in hell!" You yelled as the monster screamed violently, and a bright light came from the firey vortex lighting the whole temple up. Then you turned to stone slowly, making you smile.

"In death and life, I will keep you sealed. No more needless deaths, no more terrorizing my people!" You yelled as the temple started sinking into the ground.

"Thank you, Isic, for loving me and for being my strength. I will find you in my next life," you said as you fully turned to stone and then closed your eyes.

400 years later.

"Hey Sakura, check this out!" Naruto said as he was trying a new ninjitsu, but he failed, which caused a massive explosion.

"Stop it, you idiot! You are going to take down the mountainside! So why are we going to this village? I mean, I never even heard of it," Sakura asked.

"The Village of The Stone Wairrors is not big, but it has a vast knowledge of ninjitsu. None of it is written down. Some of the course has been lost to history, but they are the melting pot of all nations put together," Kakashi informed them.

"None of the Ninjitsu is written down?" Sakura asked.

"So why are we going to this village?" Naruto asked.

"Vacation, they have the best hot springs here," Kakashi smiled.

"That's all we are here for?!" Naruto asked.

"Yes, you all have been training so hard. I thought a short trip would be nice," he said as he was here to get some books that they sold here that were not for kids.

"Wow," Sakura said as they entered the village.

In the square, a girl in the center of town with sacrificial words painted on her body was doing a pose. There man lying at her side with arrows sticking out of his body. He had the same words painted on his body.

"What is this?" Sasuke asked as Kakashi pulled up the booklet he had for the village.

"This is the statue of Y/n and her fallen lover Isic. Y/n was said to have the strongest Chakra in the land, and it was so strong that she was able to seal away a demon of mass destruction at the cost of her life and her lovers. The village thought she was condemning them, so the villagers killed him for it while she sealed it away. Four hundred years ago, these people believed in human sacrifice, but thanks to her and her lover, they stopped, and since then, they stopped doing human sacrifices. I don't think she sealed away a demon, I think this just represents her willingness for change. Thanks to her fighting, they stopped and never continued," Kakashi explained.

"That's so sad her boyfriend died," Sakura said.

"Who cares? She probably wasn't even real," Sasuke informed.

"Hey! It's still sad!" She said.

"It says here that four hundred years ago, they would sacrifice the firstborn children. These two were firstborns, and due to their ritual, they did they married once at the age of ten. Geeze, anyway, both died at the age of twenty with no children. The sacrificed children commonly had children and were raised by the village once the parents died. The firstborn child would always be taken away and trained with their counterpart and then sacrificed. They believed back then that the more Chakrayou had, the fewer people you had to sacrifice. They had signs of when the demon was coming back, so within one week, they had to do another sacrifice to keep it happy," Kakashi said.

"That's awful," Naruto said, "good thing they finally stopped it."

He bowed respectfully to pay his respects and looked around at all the people that were in the village thinking about how many wouldn't be here if they didn't do something about it.

"You know that guy kind of looks like you, Kakashi Sensei," Sakura said.

"What a coincidence," he said as they continued to walk through the town and buy things.

They went to the hot springs and relaxed a bit. It was a nice change of pace rather than training all the time, but at the same time, relaxing was boring. But then they visited a monument with thousands of names of people who were sacrificed over a thousand years. Your name and Isic's names were the last ones on the stone tables. Where the temple used to be was covered in lush green forests.

"This is where the temple used to be. It collapsed and got swallowed up by the land," Sakura said as she got out her booklet.

"Sweet! Ha, in your face, no more sacrifices for you!" Naruto laughed as Sasuke looked annoyed.

"It probably never happened!" He said.

"It's still a good story," Sakura said.

"How about we do some survival training," Kakashi said.

"You said this was a vacation!" Naruto complained.

"I did, but why not any time is a good time to train," Kakashi said as the three kids sighed.

"Fine," Naruto said as they went deep into the woods.

Naruto started practicing his Ninjitsu as well as Sakura and Sasuke.

"Come on guys, you can do better. If you don't do better, you are all going to stay here all day!" Kakashi said as Naruto was trying to, and then he unleashed a lot of Chakra at once by accident.

"Whoops," Naruto said as he took down some trees and laughed a bit as Sasuke and Sakura looked at him, horrified.

"Are you trying to kill us?!" Sakura yelled as the ground underneath him collapsed.

"Naruto!" Sasuke yelled as all three of them went to get him. Traps started going off as he fell, making Naruto use his ninjitsu as fast as he could to avoid being killed by the traps.

"What the hell?!" Sakura yelled as the roof closed, and the tunnel slanted before they hit the bottom hard.

"Ow," Naruto said as the other three nearly fell on top of him.

"You idiot!!!!!!" Sakura yelled as Kakashi made light with his Chakra, and he sighed, seeing dead bodies lying around.

"What is this?!" Sasuke asked.

"Looks like we just found the temple, and that tunnel was activated by Chakra," Kakashi said.

"Great, how do we get out?" Naruto asked. Seeing the way they came in was no longer there.

"We have to find the way out. Temples had several exits. If anything, we can blast our way out," Kakashi smiled as they lit torches.

They walked over the skeletons that had several arrows in them. They walked around for what felt like hours dodging traps where they could and brute, force the traps to stop.

"Man, I'm starving," Naruto said as Kakashi felt something was off, so he pulled Naruto close to him.

Arrows started coming through the floor as well as the walls and ceiling.

"Wow, sensei, that was amazing. How did you know?" Sakura asked as he looked at the walls.

"I don't know," he said as Sasuke burned all the arrows, and the trap stopped working.

"These pictures... are these real?" Naruto asked as they depicted a monster grabbing the sacrifices and leaving.

"This is intriguing," he said as Sakura saw a rock floating.

"Hey, look at this," she said as Sasuke found bodies that were crushed by pieces of roof.

"The earth swallowed this place, right?" Sasuke asked.

"Yeah, at least that is what happened in theory," Kakashi said as he poked the rock.

"This temple is real," Sasuke said as she pulled out her pamphlet.

"So if it's real, does that mean the monster and Y/n is real?" Naruto asked.

"It's just a story! This temple was probably for human sacrifices, but that doesn't mean the monster is real or she is real," Sasuke said, hoping it wouldn't be true.

"We aren't supposed to be here. If it is true, if we somehow free the monster, then we won't be able to stop it," Sakura said.

"I don't think it's real," Kakashi said as he didn't feel any Chakra here or any evil energy.

He saw a place to put his torch, so he put the torch in the little holder and immediately the fire lit a trail which ignited the whole room.

To their horror, skeletons were floating as well as prices of the ceiling around your body. The whole room was in disarray and falling apart, but you were somehow holding it together. You were a stone statue with your eyes closed floating in the same pose you were so long ago. A man that looked like Kakashi was lying by your feet with spears in his body lying by your feet with sacrificial markings on his body. He looked the same as the day he died due to being so close to you. You were standing on a piece of floor.

"Oh my god!" Sakura said as they saw the words you used to bind the demon to the realm he came from; were moving around your body.

"Oh no, this is real....," Kakashi said as he grabbed all three of the kids and slowly started backing away.

There were so many dead bodies in this place from people trying to get into steal stuff, not knowing it was a death trap if you didn't know how to get through it.

"We need to try to come back the way we came. Don't touch anything," he said as the words on your body froze.

Your stone body started cracking, revealing you underneath it. Your stone covering quickly cracked, and all the floating rocks and bones started falling to the ground. Kakashi quickly went to you and grabbed you before you hit the ground, and Naruto quickly saved Isic's dead body from becoming buried under the ceiling. The whole place started coming down.

"We need to get out!" Sasuke yelled as they saw an opening and took it.

The ground quickly caved in, and they barely got out, and the forest started filling up the temple.

"What did we just do?!" Sakura asked as Kakashi was holding your limp body and found out you were alive and breathing.

"We should take them back to our village before she wakes up. If she finds out he's dead, she might lose it!" Naruto said as he checked Isic's pulse he was gone, but his body was still warm like he just died.

"Here, Naruto, I'll... I'll carry him, you take care of her," Kakashi said as Naruto put his body down.

Kakashi started pulling out the spears, and Isic started bleeding, which made Kakashi check to see if he was breathing again, but he was gone. There, Chakra must have done something to break the seal, and now they were going to have to stop the monster themselves if you died. Just what exactly was the monster they were facing?
