Little Secret: Muichiro Tokito × Reader part 3
You woke up in the hospital in a lot of pain, but that didn't bother you. You pulled out the IV and got up, but you could barely hold up your body. It took you a bit, but you stood up on your own two feet and realized you got attacked last night. You looked to see where you were, and it was the butterfly mansion, thankfully. If you were here, where was everyone else?
"Oh no, Muichiro," you said as you went to check the other rooms while some of the injuries you got reopened, causing blood to drip on the floor.
Tanjiro was fine after you checked to see if he was alive, then found Tokito in the next room, then Genya. You went to Tokito, and you cheddar his neck to see if he was alive. You may have hated him, but you didn't. You just wanted a simple apology that was never going to happen. You hated yourself more than anyone else, even Muichiro. In a way, you felt like the pain you felt you let out on him. You knew he said stuff without thinking, and you knew he probably didn't mean any other those things, but you still slapped him anyway. You never even let him finish his statement before getting angry at him.
Your blood got on his bandaged neck, and you moved his hair off his face, getting more blood on him. You then remembered you had to go home so you went back to your room. You opened the window, leaving a blood trail. You looked at your friends and sighed, hoping they wouldn't follow you. In the shape you were in, it was going to take you three days instead of one day to get home. You could push yourself and make it in two, but your body probably wasn't going to make it if you did it.
You made it out of the window barely, and you noticed you were hurt way worse than you thought you were, but it was a price you were willing to make worse if it meant getting home. You started to head home as fast as you could. A couple of hours later, your friends started to wake up.
Tanjiro woke up and found your bed was empty, making him shocked.
"Y/n? Y/n?" He asked as Muichiro went into your room, horrified.
"In her condition, she shouldn't be moving. How did she even get up after that?" He asked.
Last night, you didn't just pass out; you got up again like a zombie. When the demon split into two, then three. The building collapsed, making him worry about you. He screamed that you were down there, but you came right through the destruction. You were covered in blood, and you weren't happy. You were angry and went to protect Genya from one of the demons. You barely managed to protect him from getting stabbed and started fighting them hard even though you were getting cut up and beaten down. You were finally thrown along with Tokito. You weren't responding to anyone's warnings you were just attacking. It was like it wasn't you anymore, and something else took over.
You were knocked out cold again, and when Tokito came across a demon chasing a child, he was going to let him die when he remembered what Tanjiro told him, so he didn't. After killing it and a strong upper moon demon coming after Tokito, you were there again dripping blood and scorched from a lightning demon. You were barely standing, but you looked at Tokito while he was trapped. You looked at the demon, and then, before you could attack, the demon went after the child. You quickly protected the child from getting spiked like you did earlier. You tried getting up again, but your body wouldn't let you. Once he got free and killed the demon, he pulled out the spikes that were in you.
"Y/n... why, how did you do that? I'm sorry I have to give a sword to Tanjiro. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I'm not leaving you because I don't care, I'm leaving because if I don't give him this sword, people will die. More than there has been. Please just live for me. I'm sorry. I'm sorry," he said as he rushed off.
"We need to find her. I had never seen her fight like that," Tanjiro said.
"I have. When she's like that, there is no stopping her. There was a child involved, I think. She just went ballistic. She got hurt badly but never stopped attacking. Worst of all, she didn't even slice the demons' heads off. She chained it up to a tree and watched the sun burn it. That demon strictly ate children," Genya said as Tokito remembered how you had been buying strictly girl clothing because they were cute.
He thought it was weird that you would do that or when you saw poor children you bought them new clothes and food. He told you it was always a bother to do so, but you always did it. After you leave a place, you get quiet and sad like you are missing something.
"She has a sister. That's where she has been going. She had been buying clothes for her when we went out to the festivals. I thought it was strange because she never told me why she would buy them, and she always took an interest in kids," Tokito said.
"Do you know where she lives?" Tanjiro asked.
"No, she never took me around her parents' place ever. But..." he paused.
"The summer festival is my favorite! I have been going to this place since I could remember!" You said.
"What's wrong? You have been looking over your shoulder since we got here," Tokito explained.
"Oh well, it's always crowded here. Plus, you know how it is. Demons take people all the time, can't be too careful," you said.
"I know what town she visits around this time. Her blood trail might be fresh. Could you follow it?" Tokito asked.
"I can try. You have blood on your face," he said as he looked into the mirror.
"We all have blood on us. She checked on us before leaving," Genya said.
"We need to find her before she bleeds out again," Tanjiro said.
Tokito couldn't stop looking at the mirror and seeing the blood on his face. He kept messing up, and now you probably ran away because you thought he tried to kill you when you were pulling out the spikes. Hopefully, you didn't hurt yourself too badly when you got out.
