-No one's P.O.V-

About a day or two has passed and you've never heard anything from Darkness. It worries your and the others a little...but right now...

Megumin: EXPLOSION!!!

Megumin casts an explosion as she collapses on the ground. You see, I'm still with Megumin's daily explosions. 

(Y/N): (We've been casting explosions everyday. Out of a sudden, I have lost all the interest in walking the path of explosions, but I still stayed though.)

Megumin: What do you think of this lovely rainbow?! I give it 120 points!

(Y/N): Eh, I'd say I give it 130 points.

You said until you and Megumin's stomach started to rumble.

Megumin: A-Ahaha...I guess we're hungry...

(Y/N): Yeah, no kidding. It's a good thing that I brought a picnic basket with me. Hey sweetpea, can you help me up with this?

Jack: Mm~! Sure thing, mom.

Eventually, you and Jack set everything up for the picnic.

...

(Y/N): Alright, this should do. 

You said with a smile on your face as you looked at your picnic set up. There was a basket filled with food on your right and collapsed Megumin on your right who was laying on her back.

Megumin: I really can't move, but you'll feed me, right?

(Y/N): I know, I know. Jack, feel free to eat on whatever is in the picnic basket.

Jack: Really?! Thanks, mom~!

And just like that, Jack grabbed a fresh apple in the basket as she started eating. You let out a chuckle as you grabbed a good sandwich in the basket as you lifted Megumin's head so she can bite it.

(Y/N): Here you go...

Megumin then takes the bite of the sandwich as her face was delighted by the taste.

Megumin: Mmm~! That's pretty good~! Can I take another bite?

(Y/N): Sure, sure.

The three eventually eat some delicious food before heading back home.

-With Yuuki and (Y/N)-

The next day, you and Yuuki were on a quest on defeating a bunch of Goblins that were infesting the village. After that, the two of you were a bit exhausted and sat down on the bench.

Yuuki: Geez, Never would've thought these Goblins would try to ambush us from the beginning!

(Y/N): Yeah, no kidding. It was a pain though.

Yuuki: Say, let's get something to eat. I've got something!

She pulled out two homemade sandwiches.

Yuuki: You can have one of these here.

She says handing you an extra sandwich, which you take from her.

Yuuki: Hehehe! Thank you for the food!

Yuuki then began to chow down the sandwich. You watched her eating the sandwich with a delightful expression. You smiled and began to eat the sandwich as well.

(Y/N): They taste great, Yuuki. I guess you made sandwiches on your own in the Inn?

Yuuki turned to you with a nod.

Yuuki: Yeah! I made these since we haven't hung out for a while. So I decided to make one for you.

You were surprised at her words, but yet you still smiled at her.

(Y/N): Thank you, Yuuki. I feel appreciated.

Yuuki blushed after hearing that you thanked her. She then scratched the back of her head awkwardly before turning to you with a smile.

Yuuki: You're welcome, (Y/N)!

You nodded as you and Yuuki eat the sandwiches. 

-Time Skip-

Sometime later, Kazuma picked up a quest that said to Investigate Keele's dungeon because Luna said the information to him.

Aqua: For a lowbie dungeon, it's annoyingly far from town.

Megumin: Being this far from civilization, I can blow up whatever I want!

Kazuma: We're going underground, so you'd better not. Seriously, don't. Maybe someone should stay here and keep an eye out. 

You then spoke up.

(Y/N): Megumin, Jack, and I will stay outside. 

Kazuma: Good idea.

Aqua: No! We need you with us, (Y/N)!

Kazuma slapped her in the head.

Kazuma: We can deal with this and someone must protect our atomic bomb. She's useless after on explosion, remember?

Megumin: I'm still and I heard everything.

Kazuma: I know.

Megumin: *Pouts*

Rin: I should come along too. Just in case if you guys have any trouble defeating monsters in the way.

Kazuma: I guess that works out fine. Alright, It's decided. (Y/N) will have to stay with Megumin and Jack outside. Rin, Aqua, and I will go to the dungeon. Do you understand, Aqua?

Aqua: Oouuh...Fine!

Kazuma: *Nods* Good.

Rin: Alright, let's head in to find some treasure~!

-10 Minutes Later-

Kazuma, Rin, and Aqua were exploring the dungeon, Megumin was training her incantation and you were sitting under the tree while Jack was petting Chomosuke. 

Megumin: My power. My weapon...? My madness? Let my madness manifest! Explo-

(Y/N): Don't you dare.

Megumin: I know, I know.

-Dungeon-

Kazuma was holding a map of the dungeon as the three ventured down deeper into the dungeon. 

Kazuma: This is it...

He touched a brick and the hidden door opened.

Aqua: So this is where the unexplored territory starts, huh? Maybe it's littered with treasure!

Rin: Hey, careful now. It's gonna be a bit dangerous if can't be careful enough.

Aqua: Oh come on~! I'm sure we'll be perfectly fine~!

Kazuma: I doubt it and we're gonna be trouble if it's not. All right, come on.

-Outside-

You were getting bored and that goes for Megumin and Jack as well.

Megumin: I'm bored. Hey (Y/N).

(Y/N): Hm? What's up?

Megumin: Can you play us a song?

Jack: Yeah, we're quite bored of staying out here.

(Y/N): Well, alright then.

You then summoned out Deadman's Guitar and started playing.

After the final strum, both Jack and Megumin clapped together.

Jack: Wow~! That was quite relaxing~!

Megumin: I agree. Can you play another one?

(Y/N): Sure, but I'll sing this time. 

You then continued to play another guitar song and started singing.

 I was saddened that my reality

Goodbye

After the final strum and you can hear both Jack and Megumin almost crying their eyes out.

Megumin: W-Whoa...that was...so sad...and it was so...heartbreaking...

Jack: It's like...you wanted to spend time with everyone again...

(Y/N): It is.

Jack: Mom?

(Y/N): Hm?

Jack: Can you stay by our side until the end?

You gave Jack a gentle smile before patting her in the head.

(Y/N): Of course. You're still my little girl and I'll stay with you.

Jack then gave you a hug as she wraps her shoulders around you.

Jack: Thanks, mom...

(Y/N): You're welcome.

-Meanwhile with Kazuma, Aqua, and Rin-

While Kazuma, Aqua, and Rin were heading deeper into the dungeon. That's when they get attacked by a Gremlin. However, Rin took care of it easily is by shooting three bullets out of her fingers as the Gremlin slowly dies from the bullets. 

Rin: That'll teach you!

Kazuma: Whew, thanks...!

Aqua: That's a low-level demon called Gremlin. You sometimes get weak demons in dungeons like these.

Kazuma: Wait, so you can actually see pretty well in the darkness?

Aqua: As well as I can in daylight.

Kazuma: You said before that you'd heard me rustling around when we were sleeping in the stables...

Aqua: I didn't see what. Once I heard you rustling around, I turned the other way to try and sleep.

Aqua explains as Rin and Aqua seeing Kazuma blushing.

Kazuma: Thank you for that, Aqua.

Rin then realizes what Kazuma was saying. 

Rin: (Wait, Did he...?)

She thought to herself and started to imagine it but quickly snaps out of it as her face turned red.

Rin: (Gah! What am I thinking?! This isn't the time to be dirty!)

-Time Skip-

A few hours later, you and Jack were sleeping together on the grass with Chomosuke on your stomach. 

Megumin: He should watch our stuff and protect me, but he's just...sleeping.

She smiled while looking at you.

Chomosuke: Meow...Meow...

(Y/N) & Jack: Zzz...Zzz...

Megumin: They looked so peaceful...It's kind of a shame to wake them up. Well, if you can't beat them, join them. Hehehe. Excuse me, Chomosuke!

Megumin said quietly to prevent you and Jack from waking up, as Chomosuke moves aside and letting Megumin sleeping with you, as she lays her head on your chest.

Megumin: Wow...the weather is so nice up. I could just...drift...off...

And just that, Megumin fell asleep with you.

-Dungeon-

Aqua: Hey, treasure! There's a treasure! A treasure chest! We did it!

Aqua says enthusiastically, but Kazuma stops her. 

Kazuma: Hey, slow down! Obvious treasure chests like that tend to be. Yeah, my Enemy Detection skill is going off.

He threw a rock at the chest and a big mouth with eyes appeared and started eating the rock which horrifies Kazuma and Aqua. 

Kazuma: D-Disgusting!

Aqua: I remember the Guild people saying to be careful of Dungeon Mimics...Some of them even pretended to be humans in order to prey on other monsters.

Kazuma: Monsters, too?! Talk about nasty!

Rin: It's really obvious when you encounter something like this in every RPG game. I'll have to get rid of it, just in case.

Rin says as she fires a large bullet towards the treasure monster, killing it instantly, which also caused the area to shake.

Rin: Whoops, I should've used bullets instead, ehehe...

-Somewhere-

Darkness: S-Stop that! Don't! You can't! Trying to put me into something so shameful...Curse you! I'll kill you!

-Dungeon-

Aqua, Rin, and Kazuma were fighting off the undead and that means for Aqua's Turn Undead skill. After that, Aqua sniffs around because she smells an undead presence. Suddenly, the wall she leaned on magically disappeared.

: Hey, are you okay?

That's when a voice spoke up. 

???: Is there a priest among you? 

Rin: Whoa, who are you?!

Rin asks as she went on a finger gun stance and was ready to fire magical bullets towards to the talking skeleton. 

Keele: My name is Keele. I built this dungeon and kidnapped a noble's daughter. I'm an evil wizard.

-Keele's Flashback-

A story about love, kidnapping a noble's daughter being actually good and...

Keele: So I say to him and run off with her!

Kazuma: In other words, you're not an evil wizard but a good one?

...

Keele: That being the case, I have a favor to ask you.

Rin: What kind of favor?

Keele: Yes. Would you purify me? The young lady is a priest with enough power to do so, correct?

...

Kazuma: (It seems that Keele was gravely injured while protecting his lady, and in order to keep her safe he abandoned his humanity and became a lich. And in spite of myself, I thought that this lich was a pretty cool guy.)

Aqua: Okay, everything's ready.

Keele: I'm really grateful. Unfortunately, the undead can't do anything as surreal as killing themselves. While I was waiting to slowly decay, I sensed a tremendous holy power and one power that I can't describe, and I was snapped out of my long slumber!

Aqua: Arch Wizard Keele, who forsook god's law and willingly became a lich...in the name of the goddess of water, Aqua, your sin is forgiven. When you awaken, you will likely meet a goddess with unnaturally large breasts, named Eris. A difference in age doesn't matter to you or the trappings of man and woman and you'll accept whatever form it may take. Then ask for her help in meeting you're beloved again. I'm sure she'll make your wish come true.

Keele: Thank you so much.

Just then, Aqua began to chant her spell on Keele...

And just like that, Keele disappeared into the afterlife to reunite with his wife. 

Rin: Well, I guess that's that. 

Kazuma: Let's go back.

Kazuma, Rin, and Aqua got the treasure loot from Keele because he was nice enough to take the reward. 

After that, Kazuma used "Lurk" as he disappears out of Aqua and Rin's sights because he knew Aqua was the one who lured the undead to her. After he disappeared, Rin quickly gets rid of them easily because Aqua couldn't handle them all other than her skill "Turn Undead" to get rid of the undead.

-Outside-

You felt a weight on your body as you woke up to see Megumin and Chomosuke lying on your body.

(Y/N): They didn't even ask, Geez...

You sighed as you decided to gently wake up Megumin and Jack.

(Y/N): Megumin. Jack. Wake up now.

You said as you gently shake Jack and Megumin as they finally woke up and rubbed their eyes.

(Y/N): How's your sleep?

Both Megumin and Jack got off of you and looked at you with sleepy eyes.

Megumin: It's fine...

Jack: ...and it's comfortable.

Rin: We're back!

You then see Rin and Aqua coming back, but without Kazuma.

(Y/N): Hey, where's Kazuma?

Kazuma: Lurk.

He was standing behind you with a smile.

Jack: Ahhh!! Don't do that!!

Kazuma: Sorry, sorry.

Aqua: You left us in the dungeon you damned NEET!

Kazuma: Don't blame me! It's your fault for being catnip to the undead! 

Aqua: But I am born brimming with such divine life force. You can't blame me for it! Are you saying that I should dim down my divine halo and end up like Kazuma who stays at home and lives off his parents? If that happens, my devoted Axis Cult all over the world will be devasted.

Kazuma: You are not repenting at all. Learn properly from those two and try to understand that kind of purity! 

Both Aqua and Kazuma started arguing with each other while you, Megumin, Rin, and Jack were watching them with deadpanned faces.
