-No One's P.O.V-

It's been five days since you and the others have been living in the mansion. So right now, Megumin was playing chess with Darkness, Kazuma was lying on the couch and you were humming to music coming from your head.

Megumin: Darkness! That's not fair! All right, then...Very well, very well. Go ahead and do as you please.

Aqua walked to Kazuma.

Aqua: Hey, Kazuma. Relinquish that spot to me, the exalted Aqua-sama.

Kazuma: Huh?

Aqua: I'm Level 21, the highest level in the party-

(Y/N): Oh? Let me see.

Aqua: Here.

She hands you the card and you looked at it and smiled.

(Y/N): Huh, it's not bad.

Aqua: Hehehe! Thank you (Y/N)!

Aqua says with a happy grin on her face, and her face reminded of you someone you knew very well.

(Y/N): Hey, Check out mine.

You said as you handed your card to Aqua and she looks at her, her eyes had widened.

Aqua: WHAT?! You're level 65!?

You showed a big grin look on your face.

(Y/N): Yep. Did a lot of grinding between me and Jack. Jack is already level 64 and already reached the second ascension. Six levels to go until Jack will get her third ascension. 

Aqua pouts as she handed you the card back. You smiled as you left the living room and went to your room.

Once you reached your room as you looked up above the bunk bed and see Jack already sleeping. 

You smiled at seeing this as you sat down on the bed below Jack and summoned Deadman's Guitar and switched it into Guitar mode. 

(Y/N): Welp, time to play.

After the final strum, you let out a sigh before putting away Deadman's Guitar.

(Y/N): Alright, time to get some sleep.

You said as you turned off the light and went off to sleep.

-The Next Day-

So right now, you and Jack were heading off to the Guild to eat something, Kazuma and the others were minding their own business somewhere else.

While eating, you hear a familiar voice spoke up.

???: Yo, (Y/N)!

You and Jack turned to the source of the voice to see Chris herself.

(Y/N): Oh hey, Chris!

You greeted as Chris waved at you.

Chris: Glad I found you here.

Jack: Huh? 

Chris: Ehehe, I can explain. Have you heard about the Zekken?

You and Jack glanced at each other for a moment before speaking to Chris.

(Y/N): Zekken? Who's that?

Chris: Oh, you don't know? There is this swordswoman who is a badass that someone named them Zekken, and that swordswoman is really tough too.

(Y/N): Tough, huh? Where is she located? 

Chris: Oh? Are you trying to duel with her?

Chris asked with a raised eyebrow. 

(Y/N): Yeah, I would like to experience it for myself since I never fought anyone in a duel before.

Chris: I see. The Zekken's duel location can be found at Windrise, y'know? The big tree one? It is not far from outside of Axel's walls. Every day at 3'o clock in the afternoon. Zekken stands under that tree and takes on any challenger 1v1, and no one's managed to beat her though.

Jack: That sounds impossible. 

Chris: It may look like it. I also heard that Mitsurugi Kyouya had lost against the Zekken. 

(Y/N): Wait, seriously?!

Chris: Yup, what's even more shocking is that the Zekken has a sixty-seven win streak. Every swordsmen and swordswoman tried to take her on but failed to do so.

Jack: Whoa...

(Y/N): I've never seen someone like her would have sixty-seven win streaks in a duel.

Chris: Yeah, it's pretty shocking. Oh yeah, the Zekken heard about your reputation that you defeated Verdia a few days ago and they would wish to fight you.

(Y/N): Huh?! They got their attention on me?!

Chris: Correct. They asked one of the people in Windrise if they knew who you are and everyone answered. I was interested if you can be able to fight the Zekken. What do you say?

You thought about it for a moment before speaking up.

(Y/N): Challenge accepted then.

Chris: Very well. Remember, the Zekken will only appear at 3'o clock in the afternoon. Don't forget that and I'll be arriving at your mansion at that time. 

(Y/N): Sure thing.

Chris nodded in acknowledgment before leaving the Guild. 

(Y/N): (Fighting the Zekken, huh? This might be interesting~)

Jack: Hey mom, are you sure that you're going to fight that "Zekken" person?

(Y/N): Yeah, I would like to experience it for myself. Jack, be sure to stay at home until I get back, okay? 

Jack: Okay, mom. 

-Time Skip to 3:00 PM-

It was now the time to have a duel with the Zekken. You prepared your outfit as you left the mansion and you see Chris outside of the gates waiting for you.

Chris: Ah, are you ready to go dueling? 

(Y/N): I'm prepared.

Chris: Very well then. Let's head to Windrise.

And just like that, both you and Chris went to Windrise to have a duel with the Zekken.

-Mini Time Skip-

About five minutes on arriving at Windrise, you and Chris see a bunch of adventurers, swordsmen, and swordswomen around the battle arena and they were watching the fight with awe looks on their faces.

You and Chris went to the battle arena and see a swordsman fighting against a female with long purple hair.

(Y/N): (Whoa, she looks cute. But her face looks...familiar to me...) So...where's the Zekken?

Chris: You're looking at her. 

(Y/N): Oh, that purple-haired female?

You said, pointing at the purple-haired female on the battle arena.

Chris: Yup.

You laughed sarcastically as you see the purple-haired swordswoman hits the swordman's sword using a heavy attack which knocks them back to the ground.

Swordsman: W-Wow, you're pretty strong! I give up!

He tells her as everyone in the crowd went wild.

M. Swordsman 1: Wow!

F. Swordswoman 1: That's sixty-eight wins!

Adventurer: Can't anyone stop her?

The Zekken turns to everyone and gives a peace sign with a smile on her face.

Zekken: Anyone wants to go next?

The Zekken shoutout for everyone who wanted to fight her next until Chris spoke up to you.

Chris: Come on, (Y/N). You said you wanted to fight her, right? Come on, do it!

(Y/N): Oh dear me...

Chris: Come on~! I'll help you~!

Chris says as she holds your arm and drags you to the purple-haired female as she notices this.

Chris: Yo, Zekken! I brought the guy!

Zekken: Ah! You...must be...

The Zekken's face normal face turned into a shocked face.

Zekken: Oh my god, it is you!

(Y/N): Huh?

The Zekken realized her reaction as she cleared her throat and awkwardly laughed before speaking up. 

Zekken: O-Oh! E-Ehehe, s-sorry about that...! I was kind of shocked seeing the guy who beaten the Dullahan.

(Y/N): Oh yeah, you must've heard of me, yes?

Zekken: Yup! I was looking forward to fighting you~!

She said in her energetic tone which you smiled, but the way how she acted was familiar to you and her voice as well.

(Y/N): Well, alright then. Wanna have a duel?

Zekken: Sure thing~! Do you want to apply rules or anything?

(Y/N): No, no rules. We'll fight fair and square.

Zekken: *Nods* Very well then. Let's get started.

Chris Well, good luck, (Y/N)!

Chris pats you in the back after saying that she went off to the crowd and watch you fight the Zekken.

Zekken: Now then, are you ready?

(Y/N): Oh, I'm ready alright.

You said with a smile as you summoned out the Yamato from your left hand. 

Zekken: You can summon a weapon, huh? Interesting. Remember, this is a duel, don't hold back, got it?

(Y/N): Yeah. Hey referee, we're ready!

Referee: Fighters ready!? 3...2...1...Fight!!

The announcer says as you and the Zekken charged at each other with your weapons out and clashed swords sending a shock wave through the air. You pushed her sword away and slash at her. 

She dodged the attack completely. You ran at her again hoping to land a good hit on her, but as you got close to her as she spun around and then kicked you in the back sending you flying, but you quickly recovered and got some distance. 

Zekken: How's that?

Zekken taunted as you got up and turn around and saw her blade coming towards you. So you quickly blocked it with the handle of your weapon and then kicked her in the stomach sending her to the ground. Zekken endures the pain as she stood up and smiled.

(Y/N): Heh, that's impressive. I'm starting to get really excited here.

Zekken: Me too.

The Zekken rushed towards you, but you got into a stance and said...

(Y/N): Dodge this!

You said as you began to use Judgement Cut on the Zekken, she notices this as she began to dodge every single one of them before you stopped doing the Judgement Cut and chase after her.

The Zekken notices this as she blocked your attack as the two of you keep blocking and attacking, that's when the two of you unleashed a clash.

Zekken: Wow, you're not half bad yourself!

(Y/N): Let's not get ourselves confident!

You said as the two of you started to have a power struggle. That's when you managed to overpower the Zekken and got the advantage. You smirked as you whacked her sword upwards before slashing down on her as the Zekken was sent flying back before she quickly recovered.

Zekken: Damn, you're pretty good!

(Y/N): Ha. Tough girl, aren't ya? Well...

Just then, you hear fast footsteps as you quickly turn around to see Zekken attacking you in the air. You smiled as you jumped high as well as you and the Zekken's blades clashed for a moment before the two of you landed down. Zekken turns around to see you on top of the Tree.

(Y/N): I think I'll have to take you down on a couple of notches.

Zekken: Then try as best as you can to take me down!

(Y/N): Heh, very well then.

You then jumped off the three as you rushed at Zekken again. She smirked as you try to slash at her, but she blocked it with her sword. She tries kicking on your stomach, you noticed this you jumped away. 

Zekken rushes at you and tries to slash you, but you blocked it with your Yamato. You pushed her blade away as the two of you began to clash at each other.

Zekken: Who will win this fight?

(Y/N): Maybe a draw perhaps?

Zekken: Then let's end this!

The two of you charged at each other with your weapons out. They prepared their swords to attack and once they slashed at each other with their blades as they stood still for a moment. The audience was watching this intensely. That's when you slowly stood up and slowly sheathe the Yamato back to its holster.

(Y/N): It's...over.

Suddenly, The Zekken slowly kneels and falls to the ground out of defeat as you look around and see the audience had speechless and shocked looks on their faces until the referee spoke up.

Referee: We have ourselves a winner!!

M. Swordsman 1: (Y/N) won!?

F. Thief: The Zekken had lost!?

F. Mage: I can't believe it!

F. Adventurer 1: He won against the Zekken!?

M. Mage: This is the first time that the Zekken had lost!

The audience roared loudly because you had won the fight against the Zekken. You quickly turn around to help out the Zekken's aid.

(Y/N): Hey, you alright?

Zekken: E-Ehe, I've never thought that you had it in you, (Y/N).

(Y/N): Hm?

The Zekken slowly stood up, looked at you directly, and spoke up.

Zekken: Do you recognize me?

She asked. You were confused for a moment until you got a good look at her again. That's when your eyes started to widen in shock because you immediately recognized this familiar face. 

(Y/N): Y-You...you are...you're Konno Yuuki!

The Zekken's tears started to appear in her eyes and a big smile appears on her face. 

Yuuki: Of course you do remember me, (Y/N)...

She says as she began to hug you and buried your face as the audience went "Ooh~!" You were surprised at this before returning the hug. 

The two of you stood like this for about half a minute before letting go.

(Y/N): I can't believe you're here.

Yuuki: I could say the same thing to you as well. Hey, do you wanna talk? 

(Y/N): Yeah.

Yuuki nods as she turns to the audience and spoke up.

Yuuki: Okay everyone~! That's all for the duel for today!

Yuuki announced as the audience was disappointed on hearing this but they understand as they left back to their respective places.

After that, both you and Yuuki sat down on the tree together until you spoke up.

(Y/N): So, how long have you been alive in here?

Yuuki: I'd say for about a month and a half. To tell you the truth...

(Y/N): Hm?

Yuuki: After your death, I haven't been the same for over a week until I eventually got better and moved on.

This shocked you a little before speaking up.

(Y/N): Oh, I see. I'm really sorry.

Yuuki: It's okay, but that's not it.

(Y/N): Is it about my family?

Yuuki: Yeah. Your mom has been very depressed after your death, your dad has been working hard and moved on, while your big sister has been trying to console your mother. 

(Y/N): Aw crap, did my mom harmed herself?

You asked worriedly.

Yuuki: No, she's been distancing herself from your dad and your big sis.

(Y/N): Damn...

Yuuki: I'm really sorry, (Y/N). We tried to help.

You let out a sigh and spoke up.

(Y/N): It's fine. Aside from my family, how did you die?

Yuuki: Well...I don't know how to say this, but...I got hit by a car.

(Y/N): You got hit by a car?!

Yuuki: Yeah, there was a police chase which I didn't hear about as I eventually got hit by a car by full force, killing me instantly.

(Y/N): Oh my god...

You said as you placed your hand in your mouth out of shock.

(Y/N): Damn, I died by FFI and you got killed by a car in a police chase.

Yuuki: Yeah. After I died, I was eventually met Eris the Goddess of Fortune. We talked for a little bit until I asked her if you were alive in this world. To my surprise, she did tell me until I met you here for a month and a half now.

(Y/N): Heh, I guess Lady Fortune brought us here together again, you know?

Yuuki: Yeah. Say, since we talked for a while, do you wanna eat with me?

(Y/N): O-Oh uh, sure! 

You said with a light blush on your face as Yuuki giggled at your reaction.

(Y/N): But first, I need you to visit my party members and where I live.

Yuuki: Sure thing. Lead the way, (Y/N).

You chuckled as you and Yuuki went back to the mansion to greet Kazuma and the others.
