Y/n was at class with the others, today they had a special guest, the kahuna of Akala island, Olivia. Though clumsy, shes great with Pokemon as no Pokemon is on guard around her, not even Ash's Litten and some of Y/n's legendaries were on guard around her.

Later, Olivia finds herself crying having learnt that Litten had gone through a lot before it had met Ash. Lillie hands her a handkerchief to dry her eyes which she does, and then blows her nose, much to Lillie's dismay, which Lana finds interesting. Olivia then tells everyone that their Pokemon are all lucky to have such great partners. Also, as a reward for telling her about all of their Pokemon, Olivia says she in return will tell them about Akala Island.

 As she begins her talk on Akala Island, she asks the group if they know who the Guardian of Akala Island is. In reply, Ash states that it is Tapu Lele, and then Olivia describes that Tapu Lele is known to scatter its glowing scales from time to time, and that whoever the scales touch will be healed. She also finds Y/n interesting ,as Tapu Lele never took anything before, let alone A Z ring to give a trainer, or take interest in said trainer.

They were about to take a cruiser to Akala island, but Y/n's Rotom phone suddenly rang. Picking up, he saw it was Palutena.

"Y/n, are you available? I need help at Sinnoh."

"I am, but i'll have to confirm it with my teachers first."

After confirming with Professor Kukui and Olivia, Y/n teleported to Sinnoh due to Palutena's Gardervoir. Y/n soon found himself at Lake Verity, at the center of the lake was a cave. He knew it was where the legendary Pokemon Mespirt resides. 

He sensed his teacher inside but was hesitant to enter as from what he learned from Cynthia, no one must enter the chambers of the lake Pokemon. Seeing this, Gardervoir gently nudged Y/n forward, this caused him to calm down, knowing his teacher knows what's she's doing.

Entering the cave, he was greeted by what looks like a Goodra, Pulling out the notebook, he found out it was Hisuian Goodra. Seeing it's red eyes, he knows it's a Alpha Pokemon.

"Goodra, The Shell Bunker Pokemon. Hisuian form. A Steel and Dragon Type. Able to freely control the hardness of its metallic shell. It loathes solitude and is extremely clingy—it will fume and run riot if those dearest to it ever leave its side."

Dodging it's incoming  horns, Y/n sent out Regidraco.

"Earthquake!"

Regidrago stomps the ground, causing it and the cave to shake, damaging Goodra and causing Y/n to stumble.

"Yikes, bad move to use in a cave, dragon dance!"

Regidrago's body becomes surrounded in orange energy and it spins around several times, enhancing its attack power and speed.

"Now dragon claw !"

Regidrago's "arms" glowed green before striking Goodra, knocking it back. Goodra then fired a dragon pulse, knocking Regidrago back. 

"Dragon energy!"

Regidrago positions its arms on top of and underneath its body, forming a dragon's head. The "mouth" of the dragon's head then opens, forming a purple orb of energy in front of Regidrago's body. It then fires a purple beam of energy from the orb at Goodra. It knocked Regidrago back to it's trainer.

Seeing the Shell Bunker Pokemon is weakened, Y/n threw a Ultra ball at it.

1..2...3 and Ping. And with that, Goodra was caught.

"How'd a alpha Pokemon get here?" Y/n asked to himself.

"Perhaps it was appointed as Mespirit as a guardian, the incident with team galactic was have awoken it along with Mespirt." Palutena said as she entered.

"Master Palutena."

"I apologize for not aiding you or informing you of what's going on Y/n, but Team galactic was trying to capture the lake guardians to search for their missing leader Cyrus, i was busy with their members."

"It's alright Master, we should hurry to the other lakes." 

She agreed, but before they could, suddenly, from the puddle of the cave rose the emotion Pokemon itself.

"Mesprit, the Emotion Pokemon. A Psychic type. Mesprit is called "The Being of Emotion." Legends say it introduced people's hearts to feelings, like joy and sadness." Y/n's Rotom phone beeped.

"Interesting, it may be curious about you. You defeated it's appointed guardian, and i think it can sense the aura's of the legendaries you captured." Paluena said as Mespirt flew around Y/n in curiosity.  "But we must be going, i know our comrades can handle them, but we better hurry before team galactic tries something underhanded."

Y/n nodded, but before Palutena could order Gardevoir to teleport them , Mesprit beat her to the punch by teleporting them to Lake Valor.

Soon they arrived at the Valor Cavern, there they saw many galactic grunts on the ground poisoned. Nearby, they saw a high ranking member facing a alpha Pokemon.

Searching though the notebook, Y/n found out the alpha was something called a Overqwil.

"Lets see.. Overqwil, the Pin Cluster Pokemon. A Poison and Dark Type. And the evolved form of Hisuian Qwilfish. Its lancelike spikes and savage temperament have earned it the nickname "sea fiend." It slurps up poison to nourish itself."

"Y/n, handle Overqwil, i'll have a little "talk" with this commander."

Y/n nodded before thinking who he has currently that can handle the Pin Cluster Pokemon before getting a idea, he sent out Mew before having her hold a ring target.

"Trick!"

Mew's eyes glowed before her held ring target attached itself to Overqwil.

"Now psychic!"

Normally a psychic type move would't effect a dark type like Overqwil , but the ring target removes that immunity. The attack sent the Pin Cluster Pokemon crashing to the wall.

Taking the chance, Y/n quickly tossed a dusk ball at Overqwil.

1...2...3 and Ping. And with that, Overqwil was caught.

After picking up the dusk ball, Y/n saw that Palutena was already done capturing the commander. Soon after, from the puddle of the cave rose the willpower Pokemon itself. Like with Mespirt, it was flying around Y/n curiously.

"Azelf, the Willpower Pokemon. A Psychic type. Azelf is called "The Being of Willpower." It is said to have given people the strength of mind to deal with life's difficulties." Y/n's Rotom phone beeped.

Mespirt soon revealed it had followed them, it and Azelf then teleported all of them to Lake Acuity. There, they saw many grunts on the ground terrified out of their minds. It didn't take long to see the source, a Hisuian Zoroark.

Y/n was about to send out a Pokemon, but stopped when Palutena began play a song he recognized as oracion.

Cue the music oracion

The Hisuian Zoroark soon began to calm down, Uxie had emerged from puddle of the cave and was dancing to the music with the other two.

Paluneta then held out a Pokeball, the Hisuian Pokemon touched it and allowed itself to be caught. It was soon sent to the guardian school.

" Uxie, the Knowledge Pokemon. A Psychic type. Uxie is called "The Being of Knowledge." It is said to have given people the wisdom to solve life's problems." Y/n's Rotom phone beeped.

The lake trio played with Victini as Y/n and Paluetna healed and captured the grunts that was effected by Zoroark's powerful illusions. As they captured the last grunt, the lake guardians each pulled a cherish ball from Y/n's bag, the cherish balls glowed slightly before they tapped the buttons, allowing themselves to be caught.

"What happened?" Y/n asked confused.

Uxie then let itself out before speaking to them telepathically, slightly surprising them.

"We have made it that we can still continue our duties even within our Pokeballs." Uxie explained. "This way, we can explore how the world has changed while keeping doing our duties of keeping balance."

"I see, welcome to the team." 

The guardians then returned to the others, Palutena  followed as she wanted to discuss something with professor Kukui and Olivia. Here Y/n learned of Ash's connection with Azelf when the willpower Pokemon was happy to see the trainer from pallet.

As Y/n listened to Ash about his past adventures, Y/n's legendaries Pokeballs was being customised by Palutena to match the legendary they hold. Y/n could also wonder what the future holds as the journey continues.
