* Lora Croffard's POV *

We pulled up in the driveway. We were laughing as he parked in front.

"You know, Liam. You can say whatever you want but I still have better dancemoves than you do."

"Oh, really. I beg to differ," he said, very sarcastically.

"Beg all you want, mister. You know it's true"

"I call for a dance off."

"You sure you can handle the heat, Lockwood?"

"Of course I can. Tomorrow at two, meet me at the skatepark. Find two partners, no preparing. I'll organize judges and a crowd for you, princess."

"Good, and don't bribe the judges."

* Liam Lockwood's POV *

"Come on, Joe! I need a backup dancers. Two actually," I said through the phone.

"Liam, this is ridiculous. It's been like five years since we last danced."

"We still got it, you guys could just follow my lead. Please man, don't let the guys' names down."

"Urg, fine!"

"Thanks man, I owe you."

"Big time, bru'."

"Yeah, don't worry. Chris also agreed. He at least has some moves."

* Lora Croffard's POV *

"Nash!" I yelled knocking on her door. "Common Nash! Wake up!"

"What the hell, Lora! It's like two in the morning?"

"I know and I'm sorry, but this can't wait. There's a dance off tomorrow, girls vs boys. Technically me against Liam, but I need two backups. Please help me out, I know you have some moves."

"Really?! This is your emergency?"

"Pretty please, Nash. I won't let you go back to sleep before you agree."

"Fine, but who else is going with us."

"I don't know yet."

"You don't know-" she sighs. "Who are we going to get reach of at this time of the night?"

"Don't you know anyone? Friend or family? Family of friend? Anyone?"

"Amber." Her eyes lit up.

"You mean like Amber, Liam's Amber?"

"Ya! That girl has moves!"

"You have her number?"

"No, but Daniel should have."

"Daniel should be in bed by now."

"Really, Daniel's a teen, plus it's a Friday night. He won't be asleep. Come on." We snuck around the mansion towards the backdoor.

"What are you two up to?" We both jumped around.

"Dammit, Alex! You scared us!"

"Are you two trying to sneak into the house?"

"We just want to ask Daniel something." I quickly summarized the dance thing before he nodded.

"He's playing games on his TV in his room. Don't be loud."

"Thanks, Alex." we said in sinc and went up the fancy staircase to Daniel's room.

I knock and a few minutes before the door flew open. "Lora? Nash? What are you guys doing here?" he whispered. We walked in and Nash closed the door.

"Daniel, do you have Amber's number?"

"Yeah, but-"

"Please can I have it, it's an emergency."

"Why? Did something happen to Liam?"

"Daniel, just give her the number then I'll explain it to you." he nodded, pulling out his phone and giving it to me. I walked to the corner of his room, placing his device to my ear.

After a few seconds a loud noice came through the speakers. "Hello! Daniel? Something wrong? Hellooo?"

"Amber! It's Lora."

"Hello? Can you hear me? Hello? I'll call you back in a few seconds when I get outside." she hanged up and I stared at the phone. Come on! Come on! Call already! Urg, why is she taking so long?

Eventually the phone rang. "Hello, Amber?"

"Who is this? Where's Daniel?" She sounded worried.

"This is Lora, you know, Daniel's nanny. From the mansion... I'm a sort-of friend of your brother... I think-"

"Yeah Lora, I know. You could've stopped after you said Lora." Her laughter vibrated through my ears. "What can I do for you, Lora? Except giving you my brother's secrets and love-life history."

"I wasn't going to ask for that." I chuckled. "We're having a dance-off tomorrow and I need some backup."

"Dance-off? I'm so in! You can count on me."

* Liam Lockwood's POV *

"Amber! I'm leaving now!"

"So am I." She was wearing white shirt with a knot at front with black cropped jeans and a pair of white nikes to top it off.

"Where are going?"

"There's a dance-off at the skatepark."

"You're also going to support? How did you hear about that?"

"No, I'm actually dancing."

"Wait, what?!"

"I'm backing up for Lora."

"You're kidding me right?" She shook her head. "You're dancing with Lora in the battle?"

"Yeah."

"You know your battling against me and the guys, right?" Shock spread all over her face.

"You're joking."

* Lora Croffard's POV *

"Okay, dancers! It's time to warm up!" a guy said. He's apparently one of our judges. Then there's a girl and a middle-aged man.

"Come on, girls." We went a bit further away from the crowd, starting with some warm-ups.

"So, what are we doing?"

"I actually don't know, whatever it is just follow my lead." They nodded and a whistle went off.

"Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the battle of boys vs girls, but as I heard it's mainly a battle between a boy and a girl. This should be fun!" People laughed, clapping their hands. "Okay, let's get down to business. The rules are as following. Each team gets one song, and one song only. In that song you'll try to win not only the hearts of judges but also the crowd's."Yet again the crowd goes crazy. "Settle down. Settle down. At the end we'll see which team will leave with the advantage at heart and also pride. Let's flip a coin to see which team will go first. Liam, Lora, please step closer.

Liam and I walk over to the guy. Our eyes locked on each other. There's a grin on his face and he gave me a wink.

"Lora, heads or tails?"

"Tails." I said, without tearing my gaze away from Liam's. In the corner of my eye I see the the coin being flipped up in the air and landing back in his hands.

"Heads. That means the guys are up first."

"Goodluck, Cinderella."

"The best for last." I turned around to go to my team mates. We're all wearing black wripped skinny's with white and black shirts that's revealing out stomachs.

The boys took their place in the sentre of the skatepark. I must say, they looked handsome.

"Boys, get ready because your song is..." theres a drumroll by the crowd. "Boys! Your song is Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars! Let's get this party started."

The music starts to play and the boys got their moves together. The crowd cheered and the girls and I gave each other a scared look. How on earth are we going to beat that?!

At least Liam looks hot when he's pulling out his moves and his team following him at the back. Seriously, Lora!

They finally strike their last pose and a loud applause comes from the crowd, the girls obviously screaming louder than the boys.

"Wow! The heat's on! Ladies, you think you can beat that?"

"With our eyes closed!" I yelled back.

"You really think so, Princess?" Liam shouted from the other side of the dance floor.

"What's our song?" I asked before sending Liam a glare.

"Does anybody else feel the heat? I do!" the judge dude said. "Okay girls, your song is... Boom by Major Laser! Take us away, Ladies." We went to our places and I nodded at the DJ.

Our song started to play and I felt the music taking over my hole body. In the corner of my eyes I saw the girls following me and in front of me I saw Liam with a somewhat surprised look on his face.

When the song ended we froze and the crowd went wild. That's what you call a battle! "Girls! Girls! Girls! Girls!" the crowd roars, punching the air with their fists. That was so much fun!

"The judges made their decision! The winners of this battle is..."
