* Liam Lockwood's POV *

We all ran up the staircase that lead to the waterfall. Lora and I were at the back, but suddenly Lora stopped. I turned around and she was a few steps below me. Her face took  in our surroundings.

"Whoa." I could see she's in awe of the sight.

"I know right."

"It's beautiful." She leaned over,  with her arms on the railing. Her soft white dress lifted a bit, revealing her upper legs. I couldn't help but stare.

"Yes, it is."

"Hi!" Joe called. "Are you two slow pokes coming?"

We nodded and ran  to the water. It's sort-of a small beach but then there's rocks that goes into a pond. Across a small bridge there's a waterfall splashing into the water. The water was bluer than blue. It's breathtaking.

I took Lora's hand and we walked to where the others were getting ready to go in the water. We took off our clothes and followed them into the pond.

We swam and played water games the whole day long. After a while Lora and I walked on the bridge, away from any curious ears. At the edge of the bridge we sat down with our feet in the water and watched the small fish moving on schools.

"Lora?"

"Yes, Liam. You can continue the conversation that we didn't get to earlier."

I took a deep breath and exhaled. "Okay, well. I guess what I wanted to say was... You know I like you. Wait, let me rephrase, I love you, Lora. I've never in my life liked somebody this way, nor did I love anyone else. Lora, tell me now if you don't feel the same way that I do."

"Liam, I-" I can see the hesitation in her eyes and it's killing me.

"Please, just tell me how you feel about me."

"I do like you, Liam. I have feelings towards you. I have since the beginning."

I felt the slight relief of my body, but my heart's still heavy. "I've asked you this already,  a few times, but I can't take it anymore. Lora, I'm asking you once again. Please consider it this time." I looked deep into her eyes, taking her hand once again.

* Lora Croffard's POV *

"Will you be my girlfriend?" Those the loveliest words I've heard in a very long time... A very long time actually.

Maybe I should do it. I mean, I'm obviously in love with him. I couldn't hide it and somehow everyone could see it except for me.

"Liam, I'm scared. I'm scared of getting hurt again. I'm scared of things turning out the way the way my life did-"

"I won't do anything to hurt you, you know that, right."

"Let me finish. Even though I know what can happen when things take a wrong turn, I can't hide my feelings towards you. So... Yes, I will."

"You will? As in you will? You will be my girlfriend?  You will be mine forever?"

I laugh. "Forever is a long time, but yes. I'll be you girlfriend."

His face lit up, there's a sparkle in his eyes that I haven't seen in a long time. He pulled me closer towards him and our lips made contact.

"Cinderella finally got her prince," he whispered in my ear after we pulled away and I giggled like a little toddler. "Come on."  He pulled me up and put my one hand around his shoulder and he took the other in his hands. His free arm swung around my waist, securing me  tightly agains his body.

And just there we started to dance. The ocean's waves the only music. It's the best music I've ever heard in my life. I'll never forget this moment. Ever.

He twirled me a few times and dipped me. Then we continued our dancing on the little bridge.

The water has never was that blue. The sun wasn't that bright and the tree weren't that high and green. How was it that everything is more beautiful that it ever was. Even the guy who's holding me so tightly.

It's weird to think that he's mine now and we're a couple now.

I jumped into the water and a few seconds later I heard another splash- Liam. We came up for some air and laughed. We took  each other's hands and then went underneath water again.

At the bottom of the pond, it's luckily not that deep, he took my face in his hands and brought his lips closer to mine. I've never thought I could, or even would, kiss anybody under water. It didn't last long though, because of the lack of oxygen.

"Who knew it's so hard to kiss under water," Liam said and it made me blush. He jumped on a rock beside him, whiping his hair out of his face.

I swam closer and pushed myself up to give him a kiss. "That's much better." He smiled, placing a kiss on my forehead.

"We should probably get back to the others."

"Ah, really?"

"Yes, really. Come, let's go, lazy ass."

"Yes, your majesty." He stood up and pulled me out of the water.

"Jeez, it's freezing."

"Here." He wrapped his arm around my shoulders, I could feel his body heat coming over to fill mine. I smiled at him.

"Much better." We walked along the coast, the waves rolling over our feet. There wasn't a lot waves, but the little that's here is more than enough.

* Liam Lockwood's POV *

"Hi, look!" She threw my arm off of her and ran further. " Look over here, Liam. " I went closer to see what she's holding in her hands. It a shell. "I love shells. They're so small but so big in beautiful. Nothing can ever beat it's beauty. Look at every thin detail on it, and not one is the same."

"It really is something."

"I'm going to get some for the kids. Here, put it in your pants' pocket. Don't let them get crushed."  I did as she said.  She didn't have pocket because of her swimwear. My pants luckly had two pockets.

She ran from shell to shell, studied it and ran off to next one. When her hands were full, she put emptied them carefully into my pocket. When my one pocket was full, she started filling the next one, until we reached the others.

* Lora Croffard's POV *

"What the hell, Liam.  What is up with your shorts?" I burst out in laughter,  knowing that it's my fault he's looking like a gorilla.

"My girlfriend has decided to open up a shell store." I grew silent and so did everyone else. This is it. Our relationship is now announced. There's no more turning back now.

"What?!" That's River. After this everyone started talking over each other.

"Stop!" I called everyone to order.

"Are you two a thing now?" Chris asked. Liam and I both nodded.

"Really?"  asked Lily. We nodded once again.

"Well, finally!"  Amber jumped up and came to hug me. "Congrats,  now we're one step closer to being sisters."

"Whoa,  not that fast."

After everyone congratulated us, we opened up the picnic backet, revealing loads of food.

We ate and had fun the whole day long. When the sun started to set we cleared up. Everyone went in their own directions.

At my car, River climbed in and Liam walked me over to the drivers seat, holding me back when I wanted to open the door.

"I'll call you later, okay."

"Okay." I stood on my toes to kiss him goodbyes.

"Goodnight, Cinderella."

"Goodnight my knight in shining armour." I climbed in and took off. In my mirror I could see him still standing there, watching us drive away.
