Kyoko P.O.V

It has been a few weeks since Dojo and I were at Chase's lair. Right now, I was outside doing some Tai Chi to clear my mind, then I heard Dojo calling me

"Hey, Kyoko! You got mail!" Dojo said

"Oh? I wonder from who?" Dojo handed me the unopened letter. I opened the envelope and started reading the letter

Dear Kyoko,

How are you doing at the Xiaolin Temple? I'm doing fine as usual, my business has been keeping me busy. I'm writing you this letter because I'm taking part of this year's fashion show once again with my latest creations. I was hoping you'll be my model for my clothes once again. You were a huge hit from the past fashion shows, so I ask you again, please model for me once again. The fashion show will be in 3 day. Reply to me once you got this letter, I look forward to your response

Your friend, Chiori

After I finished reading the letter, I let out a sigh

'She really likes using me as a model' I thought with a sweatdrop 'Looks like I need to ask Master Fung about letting go home for awhile' I started to head back inside to look for Master Fung

Once I got inside, I almost bumped into Master Fung

"Hello, Kyoko" Master Fung greeted me

"Hello, Master Fung. I was just about to look for you" I said

"Is something the matter?" Master Fung asked

"Nothing is wrong. I was wondering if I can head back home in Okinawa for awhile" I said

"May I ask why?"

"My friend is entering a fashion show and she also asked me to be her model her clothes too" I said

"I see. I'll allow you to go home for the event" Master Fung said

"Thank you, Master Fung" I thanked him

"Perhaps the others would like to join you back to your home" Master Fung said, I turned around and saw my friends including Dojo falling to the ground

"What were you guys doing?" I asked

"N-Nothing! We were just... uh..." Raimundo was trying to think of an excuse

"We listened about your plans of returning home to model for a friend of yours in clothes she created" Omi said, and Raimundo smacked the back of Omi's head

"Kyoko, you didn't tell us you had a friend who design clothes. Who is she?" Kimiko asked

"I think you might've heard of her. Her name is Chiori" I said and Kimiko looked surprised

"No way! Your friends with The Chiori?! The famous designer?!" Kimiko asked with stars in her eyes

"Yeah. She asked me to model a couple of her designs in the past, and she asked me to be her model ever since we were kids. So it became a tradition of hers to ask me to wear her clothes she designs. If she likes it, then I'll wear it for the fashion show" I said

"That's so cool!" Kimiko said

"So, is it okay if we came with you?" Clay asked

"I don't mind. But please don't eavesdrop like that next time" I said and they high fived each other as they let out a cheer

'They're so weird sometimes' I thought as I chuckle

"When are we leaving?" Dojo asked

"We'll leave in 2 days, the fashion show takes time to set up. I should call my family to let them know that I'm coming back home for the event" I said as I started to head back to my room to start packing some of my things

No One P.O.V

A small bug bot was on ceiling recording the conversation of the Xiaolin warriors

"No way... Kyoko is gonna model!" Jack exclaimed as he imagine Kyoko wearing different clothes for villains including her wearing a female version of his outfit "I am so going! Jack Bots!" A couple of his bots appeared "Start packing my stuff! I'm going to Okinawa!"

A crow was flying through the mountains as it makes its way to Chase's lair. Chase was meditating in the air as the crow landed on Chase's shoulder and started to whisper by his ear

"I see. Kyoko is heading back to her home to help her friend with an event" Chase started to float back down and he landed on his feet "I am quite interested to see how it'll go" Chase said as he started prepare to leave

With the Xiaolin Warriors - Two days later

Dojo was flying in the direction where Kyoko lives, Raimundo started a conversation with her

"Hey Kyoko, what is Okinawa like?" Raimundo asked

"Okinawa is coolest place to be at. There are a lot of things to check out, there's culture, beaches, dive sights, fun events, and Dojo will love this one; there are a lot of yummy food" Kyoko said and she noticed Dojo started to drool

"Oh! I am so excited to learn about your home!" Omi said

"I'm excited to check out the beaches" Raimundo said

"I'm looking forward to the grub" Clay said as he rubs his stomach

After some time flying, the group finally made to Okinawa and they were in awe

"This place is so beautiful" Kimiko said "I should ask papa if we can come here for our next vacation"

"I never knew the waters could be so clear" Raimundo said as he looked at the ocean and saw some ocean life

"Right? It's also the best spot for tourists and for summer break" Kyoko said

"Sounds like you had your fair share about that" Clay said

"You could say that. My grandparents runs a business, so I help out during the summer since it's the busiest time of the year" Kyoko said

"Business? What kind of business?" Omi asked

"They run a restaurant. It's also next to a beach with a amazing view of the ocean" Kyoko said as Dojo lands on the sand of a beach. Then they saw the people setting up for the event

"Kyoko, do you know theme for the fashion show this year?" Kimiko asked

"No, the designers are the only ones who knows the theme. Knowing Chiori, she's most likely gonna go all out again. Last year, it was western style" Kyoko said

"Western style? You mean clothes like mine?" Clay asked

"Yep" Then Clay started to imagine Kyoko in western clothes "And the year before that, it was mardi gras. But I was really embarrassed" Kyoko said with an embarrassed look

"For real?"Raimundo asked and she nodded. And like Clay, he imagine Kyoko wearing the mardi gras costumes

"So, where will we be heading?" Kimiko asked

"How about we head to my house? I told my parents that we'll head there once we got here safely" Kyoko said and they all nodded in agreement. Kyoko started leading her friends to her house

After walking for a minute, Kyoko stood in front of a house

"Here we are" Kyoko said

"Wow! Your home is really nice!" Raimundo said

"Thanks. How about we head inside?" Kyoko said as she approached the door and pulled out her key, when she was about to unlock the door, the front door was immediately opened by her little brother, Haru

"Big sis! Welcome home!" Haru said as he hugged her waist

"I'm back" Kyoko said as she rubs his head "Were you a good boy while big sis was away?"

"Yup! I helped grandma and grandpa out a lot!" Haru said

"That's good. Did you listen to mom and dad?" Kyoko asked

"Yup!" Haru nodded

"Oh, Kyoko. Welcome home, dear" Kyoko's grandma said as she stands by the entrance

"Thanks, grandma" Kyoko said

"Big sis, who are they?" Haru asked as he pointed at her friends

"Haru, these are my friends. Omi, Raimundo, Kimiko, Clay and Dojo. Everyone, this is my little brother, Haru" Kyoko introduced

"Hello, Kyoko's brother, Haru. It is so nice to meet you" Omi greeted

"He talks funny" Haru said

"He was raised at the temple, so there are a lot of things he's not used to saying or seeing" Kyoko said

"Kyoko, dear. Let's head inside. It's rude to leave your guests outside waiting" Kyoko's grandma said

"Okay. Let's head inside everyone" Kyoko said as they entered the house. Before Raimundo could take another step forward, Haru stopped him

"Wait! You need to take off your shoes before entering the household" Haru said

"Why?" Raimundo asked

"It's respectful and it's to make sure not to bring in dirt from the outside into a household especially if there's tatami mats" Kimiko said as she took off her shoes and faced them by the entrance. The boys did the same thing as Kimiko did

After they took off their shoes, they followed Haru into the living room and saw Kyoko setting up some tea and snacks

"Make yourselves at home" Kyoko said as her friends sat down on the cushions seats

"Thank you for preparing the tea and snacks, Kyoko. Just like how the girls should do" Omi said, but earned a shock from Kyoko

"What did I say about never judge?" Kyoko asked with a smile, but her aura surrounding her is scary

"I-I apologize" Omi said as he started to shake nervously

"You're weird. If my mom heard you say that, it'll take both my dad and big sis to hold her back" Haru said as eats some of the snacks, while Omi was shaking from fear "Anyway, big sis, did Chiori ask you to model again for her clothes?"

"Yeah. I don't understand why she always ask me to model for her. There are plenty of other people who might be better than me" Kyoko said as she sips her tea and Dojo was happily eating the snacks

"Nonsense!" Everyone jumped as a female voice echoed through the room, revealing a very fashionable girl

(Ignore her swords)

"Chiori?! What are you doing here?" Kyoko asked looking surprised

"Isn't obvious? I need you in my shop. Now!" Chiori said as she grabs her wrist and ran out of the house in a huge rush

"She left the house so fast that she didn't give Kyoko enough time to put on her shoes" Raimundo said

"Yeah. Chiori was always like that, but we got used to it. Looks like I better head to her boutique with big sis shoes again" Haru said as he puts on his shoes, then grabs Kyoko's shoes

"Is it okay if we come with you? I am curious to see Chiori's boutique" Kimiko said

"I don't mind. Come on. Grandma! I'm heading out!" Haru shouted

"Send my regards to Chiori, dear" Kyoko's grandma said

Haru and the Xiaolin Warriors left the house and started heading to Chiori's boutique

They walked into the city, and they saw people bustling through the streets setting up decorations, stands and games

"Wow. This is place always have grand festivals or what?" Raimundo asked as Kimiko took pictures

"I agree. This is more busy like Texas when they're getting ready for a rodeo" Clay said as he whistled

As they looked around, Haru spoke with a loud voice to gain their attention

"We're here!" Haru shouted as he stood in front of the boutique

Haru place his hand on the door's handle and went inside

"Wait for us!" Omi said as he ran inside the shop along with Kimiko, Raimundo, Clay and Dojo. When they got inside, they were in awe. They saw different styles of clothes that are reserved for customers, sketches and many different cloths

"This is so cool!" Kimiko said with stars in her eyes

"Chiori is the definition of a girl" Omi said, and a pair of scissors flew passed him

"Be careful what you say. Just because I design clothes, doesn't mean I follow the old ways on how a woman should act" Chiori said as she looks through her drawers

"She has great aim" Clay said

"No kidding. She threw them without looking away from the drawer" Raimundo said

"You think he would've learned his lesson by now" Dojo said

"That's Chiori for you" Kyoko said from a different room

"You better still be that pose, I still have some readjustments I need to fix" Chiori said as she walks back to the room

The Xiaolin Warriors were about to follow her inside, but the door was locked

"Why is the door locked?" Dojo asked

"No one sees the outfits until the show starts!" Chiori said through the door

"Sorry about that, you guys" Kyoko apologized

"What should we do?" Kimiko asked

Then they decided to do their own thing while they wait. Kimiko was playing Goo Zombies, Clay was playing around with lasso, Raimundo was listening to his music player, Omi was mediating, Dojo was sleeping, and Haru was reading a book

After some time, both Chiori and Kyoko walked out from the room, and the sun was already setting

"You're finally done, big sis?" Haru asked

"Yeah... Chiori is really into this years theme" Kyoko said

"What's the theme?" Kimiko asked

"Free for all!" Chiori said as she pushes two mannequins, one was wearing a kimono dress and one was wearing a short yukata dress

"They look so beautiful!" Kimiko said and she looked at Kyoko "And your going to wear them during the fashion show too! You're so lucky!"

"I wouldn't mind you taking my place, but Chiori won't allow it" Kyoko said and she noticed something "Hey Chiori? Why do I see two designs? The entry is three designs"

"Simple. The last one is a surprise that will forever leave a memory into everyone's minds!" Chiori said looking excited and Kyoko sweatdrop

"Big sis, I brought your shoes" Haru said as he places her shoes down by her

"Ah, thanks, Haru. As always" Kyoko said as she puts on her shoes

"Kyoko! We must head to the stage! We need to get ready!" Chiori said as she puts the mannequins onto the cart and started leaving the boutique

"Guess that's my cue to leave. I'll see you guys during the show. See ya" Kyoko said as she started to run to catch with Chiori

"We should make our way to the venue where the show is taking place" Kimiko said

"Does anyone remember where its taking place at?" Clay asked

"It's by the beach. I remember it while we were heading to this place" Raimundo said

"He seems to remember the places as long its on the beach" Dojo said and everyone agreed

"Hey!" Raimundo was offended

Now everyone started making their way to the beach where the show is taking place

Kyoko P.O.V - Nightfall

I was in backstage of the tent next to the runway. Chiori was putting on some light makeup on my face

'No matter how many times I do this, I still get nervous' I thought

"Relax, Kyoko. There's no reason to be. You've done this plenty of times before" Chiori said as she finishes the final touches, and started putting my hair up in a bun

"I know. But I still can't help but feel nervous no matter how many times I do this" I said as I headed to the changing room and Chiori gives me the kimono dress "But how come you never ask someone else to model for you? There are way better people who could do a way better than me"

"Nonsense. I can see the pure beauty within you including the unique birthmark on the back of your neck" Chiori said

"I guess so. But I cover it with my hair now. I feel uncomfortable when someone mentions about my birthmark or they'll make fun of me for how weird it looks" I said as I remembered the times from my childhood when some kids used to make fun of my birthmark and how I decided to let my hair grow out in order to cover it or wear clothes that covers my neck

"You shouldn't feel uncomfortable about it. If anything, they're just jealous" Chiori said as she tried to reassure me

"Alright folks! It's the moment you all been waiting for!" The MC announced through the speaker

"Looks like its time. Remember, everything will be alright. Walk down the walkway, do a pose and walk back" Chiori said

"I know" I said as I walked out from the changing room

"One last check" Chiori looked my appearance one more time to make sure everything is in place "Alright. You are good to go. I'll put the second outfit in your changing room, so you'll be ready to change" Chiori said

"Thank you, Chiori. I'll try my best" I said as I started heading towards the walkway along with the other models that were behind me

No One P.O.V

The Xiaolin took their seats that's a little close to the walkway. After they heard the MC make the announcement about the show is about to start, they quickly went to find good seats. Once they got to their seats, they were surprised to see Jack Spicer in the crowd. He had his Camera Bot ready to take photos of Kyoko when she walks down the walkway

"Is this dude for real?" Raimundo asked with a sweatdrop

"Looks like it partner" Clay said with a sweatdrop

"Here's our first model! Miss Kyoko Suzuki!" The MC announced as Kyoko started walking down the walkway and did a pose at the end

"Perfect pose!" Jack shouted as his Camera Bot took a couple of pictures of her before she started to walk back

"Kyoko really looks amazing" Kimiko said

"Totally" Raimundo said with hearts in his eyes, while Clay was speechless as hearts was floating above his head

Then after the first round of show ended, the MC gave the models a few minutes to change into their next outfit. Once time was up, the MC called Kyoko's name as she walks down the walkway as she wears a short yukata dress and poses

"Very impressive" Chase said as he watches Kyoko from a tree branch with admiration in his eyes as he watches her walk back

Then the final round came, Kyoko took a deep breath and put on a confident look as she walks down the walkway leaving everyone in awe

Everyone cheered as Kyoko walked down and poses. Then Kyoko walked back, but not before she waved at everyone

Once she got backstage, she let out a huge breath

"That was exhausting" Kyoko said as she took a seat and Chiori handed her a bottle of water

"You were absolutely beautiful, Kyoko" Chiori said

"Thanks, Chiori. But it's thanks to your designs" Kyoko said

"Nope. It's thanks to your natural beauty that completed all of my clothes that I made over the years" Chiori said with a small smile

"Now you're making me feel embarrassed" Kyoko said as she scratches her cheek

After the models finished walking down the walkway. The MC started to announce the winner

"The winner of this year's fashion show is...." The MC paused for dramatic effect "Miss Chiori and her model Miss Kyoko!" The MC said as both Chiori and Kyoko walked back on stage. They were both handed a bouquet of flowers and sashes. Everyone cheered at the winners

After the show, the Xiaolin Warriors headed towards the duo

"You were amazing, Kyoko!" Kimiko said

"I have to agree. It was like you were a professional model" Dojo said and Kyoko chuckled

"Well, I have been doing this for quite a long time, so that could the reason" Kyoko said

"No way. You have natural talent, big sis" Haru said

"Either way, you totally nailed it!" Raimundo said

"Most definitely. You look very much like a girl on stage" Omi said, and Chiori pointed her clothing shears at him

"You should be very careful what you say or something might happen" Chiori said with an angry aura surrounding her and Kyoko as her eyes glowed a electric purple

"He'll never learn" Kimiko said, and everyone heard a very loud growl. They looked around for the source and looked at Dojo

"Heh heh. Sorry about that" Dojo apologized

"Guess it's time to eat dinner. Let's head back home. Big sis makes the best dishes!" Haru said

"I'm good because I have grandma to help me learn how to cook while mom is busy at work" Kyoko said

"I think they should be home by now" Haru said

"Well then, shall we head back?" Kyoko asked her friends and they nodded as they started heading back to Kyoko's house to eat dinner and turn in for the night
