Kyoko P.O.V

We were out in the courtyard for another lesson, except... my friends at the moment are busy doing their own thing rather than paying attention to what Master Fung is teaching us

"Today's exercise requires one to choose complementary Shen Gong Wu and work in unison to fight a common foe. I trust you are ready to demonstrate great focus" Master Fung said, but soon notice that no one is paying attention. Raimundo is listening to music, Kimiko was doing her hair, Omi staring at a bumble bee and Clay was craving a cow on a piece of wood. I noticed that Master Fung's eye was twitching

'He should drink some tea after this' I thought

"On the count of 3" Then Dojo dropped the training dummy that was hanging on the tree branch and immediately fell asleep "3" Master Fung said, and my friends who weren't paying attention, pulled out the Shen Gong Wu of their choice

"Uh... Ruby of Ramses!" Clay shouted as he pulled the Wu and put his wood craving under his arm

"Uh... Ow! Sword of the Storm!" Raimundo shouted, but he ended up hurting himself when he tried to take off his headphones off his ears

"Thorn of Thunderbolt!" Kimiko shouted

"Wushu Helmet!" Omi shouted as he put the helmet on his face

I was about to pull my Wu, but I saw everything going down hill for them. Raimundo lost control of the Wu and created a small tornado, but that resulted Clay accidentally using the Ruby of Ramses on the others, then Kimiko's chose of Wu pointed at the tornado which started heading towards them, and Omi used the Wushu Helmet to protect himself, but they ended up falling into the pond along with Dojo. I let out a breath and helped them out of the pond. After I helped them out, I turned towards the dummy and pulled out my chose of Wu

"Eye of Dashi!" I shouted and I destroyed the hanging dummy

"Well done, Kyoko" Master Fung said

"Thank you, Master Fung" I said as I bowed and he turned at my friends

"Your choices were far from complimentary, and the dummy would've remained intact if Kyoko didn't finish it off" Master Fung said

"Yes, yes, I remain intact" Dojo said, still out of it for a moment then he woke up "Wait, what?"

"Apprentices, you are too easily distracted" Master Fung said as my friends went in line as he walked by and taking their distracting objects "Raimundo with you 3pm platyer. Kimiko, doing your hair. Clay, playing with your little cow. And Omi, you with your bumble bee" Master Fung grabbed the bumble bee and placed it near a patch of flowers "You must not let your mind wander"

"But my mind was made to wonder, how else can I ponder the greatest mysteries of the universe? Like how can bees fly when their wings are too small to lift their bodies" Omi said

"He said wander, not wonder, Omi" I said and Omi blushed in embarrassment, then the bumble bee flies over Omi once again and Master Fung sighed

No One P.O.V - Jack's lair

Jack laughed evilly as he walks around in his latest invention, which looked like clear sphere that resembled a hamster ball, but human sized

"My rolling shield is complete! Now to test it, Jack Bots!" Jack called out to his bots, but none showed up. He grew annoyed and headed in the direction where the bots are "Megan! I told you not to play with my stuff!"

Sitting on a chair was a little girl with blond hair and blue eyes and wears a pink bow and dress

"Shhh! You're ruining our tea party" Megan said as she pours tea into the cups

"Thank you, Lady Megan" The Jack bot said as it takes the cup of tea

"Jack! We need to focus here!" Wuya shouted and Megan looked at Wuya with a disgusted look

"Yuck! That ugly witch is back. Do some tricks ugly witch" Megan demanded

"Like making yourself less ugly" Jack suggested and Wuya grew angry

"One more word out of your little cousin and I'll turn her into a pig!" Wuya threatened

"I hear you bark little doggie, now let's see you bite" Megan said looking unafraid of the threat. Then Wuya let out a loud roar, but Megan let out a yawn "I knew it, you can't do nothing except look ugly!"

"Girls, girls, let's not fight here" Jack said as he tried to calm down the situation, then Wuya let out a loud gasp

"A new Shen Gong Wu has just revealed itself on the island of Java, the Mind Reader Conch" Wuya announced

"Let's roll!" Jack said

"Whatever you say Jack" Then Megan pushed the sphere, making it roll

With the Xiaolin Warriors

Dojo flew through the skies, he got an inch that he couldn't reach, so Omi helped scratch the spot

"Lower, lower, lower" Dojo said

"Sorry, Dojo. I haven't much to earn you a scratch. After all, I am an apprentice" Omi said 

Dojo saw the island where the Wu is located. When he landed, he went back to his original small size, he grabbed a piece of a broken branch and used it to scratch his back

"Oh, yeah, baby. Magic fingers" Dojo said looking satisfied and it grossed out the monks

"Come on, crew, where's the Wu?" Raimundo asked

"The Wu as you call it, is the Mind Reader Conch" Dojo said as he pulled out the scroll and showed us the Wu "By holding it to your ear and aiming it, you can hear the thoughts of others" Dojo explained

"In Clay's case, I guess you can just hear the ocean" Raimundo said as he let out a chuckle and Clay looked at Raimundo with an angry look

"So, where's the Wu, Dojo?" Kyoko asked

"It's... that way!" Dojo pointed in the direction, when the group walked in the direction and were met with a sight of countless conch shells laying on the beach

"There's so many..." Kyoko looked speechless

"Take your time. The lady dragons love a guy with a tan" Dojo said as he sets up an umbrella and wears a pair of sunglasses

Everyone started picking up one conch shell, and if they picked up the wrong conch, they'll throw them into the ocean. Raimundo picked up a conch shell, but ended up getting his ear pinched by a hermit crab that made the shell its home

"Relax, fellow apprentices, my keen instincts will lead us to the Mind Reader Conch" Omi said as he an unusual conch shell

"Yeah, your instincts are keen all right. Except when it comes to haircuts" Omi heard Raimundo's thoughts and got angry

"You are all over the line, my friend! Your garbage talking about my haircut is most unappreciated!" Omi exclaimed as he threw away the conch and Raimundo looked confused

"Nevertheless, little pal, you might wanna put on a hat. I think the sun's been baking your potato too long" Clay said

Raimundo picked up the unusual conch shell and placed it by his ear carefully

"That Raimundo thinks he's all this" Raimundo heard Omi's thoughts

"It's all that, Omi" Raimundo corrected and Kimiko looked at him with a confused look

"What's all what?" Kimiko asked and Raimundo let out an agitated sigh "It's not all what, it's all that! Of all people, you should know that's all that" Raimundo said as he tosses the conch

"Dagnard. You folks sound like were kicked in the head by the family mule" Clay said as he picked up the conch that Raimundo tossed

"I wonder why boys are born without brains?" Clay heard Kimiko's thoughts

"If I was born without a brain, little lady, how come I'm the one who figured out that this is the Mind Reader Conch" Clay said and he handed Kyoko the Wu, when she placed it by her ear

"Ha! Kyoko has the Mind Reader Conch! If I could find a way to take the Wu, maybe I'll even get a chance to hug her too!" Kyoko heard Jack's thought

"Looks like we have an unwanted guest" Kyoko said as the group looked up and saw Jack with his bots "And there's no way you'll get a hug from me!"

"Come on, Jack. You promised you'll let me drive" Megan said

"I lied. I'm a evil boy genius remember" Jack said

"A promise is a promise" Megan said as she covers Jack's eyes

"Ah! I need reinforcements! Jack Bots! Attack!" Jack ordered as the bots started charging towards the Xiaolin Warriors, while fighting the bots, some of the bots crashed into some of the monks while fighting

"Dragon X Kumei Formation!" Omi, Kimiko, Raimundo and Clay said in unison

"Ruby of Ramses!" Clay used the Wu to get the Mind Reader Conch, then a Jack Bot quickly flew down towards the floating Wu

"Thorn of Thunderbolt!" Kimiko shouted, she meant to aim at the Jack Bot, but ended up aiming at the Mind Reader Conch and now in the Jack Bot's grasp

"Great teamwork, not!" Raimundo said and he pulled out his Wu "Sword of the Storm!" The powerful wind knocked the Wu out  of the bot's hands, but the powerful wind including the Mind Reader Conch was charging towards the group

"Wushu Helmet!" Omi shouted as he put on the helmet in time before they were hit by the impact and luckily the Wu landed in Kyoko's arms, but the wind created a huge sand storm, covering the entire beach

For Dojo, he finished adding tanning lotion on his body

"Perfect, every scale is evenly greased with tanning oil. Now all I gotta do is avoid the sand" Dojo said as he leans back on his lawn chair, but he an upcoming sandstorm heading his way "Not good" Then he buried under the sands, he stuck his head out from the sand "Hmph, this has Xiaolin Apprentices written all over it" Dojo changed sizes and entered the sandstorm and grabbed all the Xiaolin Apprentices and started to fly back to the temple "Not bad for 1500 year old dragon. Do I hear a thank you for my brave and valiant rescue?"

Everyone thanked Dojo, but Kyoko placed the Mind Reader Conch by her ear to hear her friends thoughts

"Ugh! Enough out of you!" Omi thought

"Oh, shut up!" Kimiko thought

"Stupid dragon" Raimundo thought

"Put a dadgarn sock in it" Clay thought

"Guys! Be nice!" Kyoko shouted as she glares at her friends

"Sorry" The apologized

Xiaolin Temple

When they returned to the temple, Kyoko handed Master Fung the Mind Reader Conch and Dojo explained what happened to Master Fung

"Used wisely, the Conch can prove a most valuable tool. But until you learn to focus, it's best that I lock it away in the temple vault" Master Fung said

"We are very sorry, Master Fung. In the future, we will do our best to rise above our petty differences" Omi said as he bowed

"I'm with the little feller" Clay said

"Me too" Raimundo said as he let out a sigh

"I'm with Omi too" Kimiko said

"You already know I won't misused the Wu" Kyoko said

Omi smiled at his friends, then they went to their separate ways

"Yes. Togetherness" Master Fung muttered

Night time

The night was calm, the monks were resting in their rooms for night... or it seems. In the shadows, Omi was making his way to the temple's vault. When he got there, he unlocked the vault and took out the Mind Reader Conch

"As long as I am here. I will test my ability to use the Conch wisely" Omi said and placed the Wu by his ear "Mind Reader Conch!"

"I'll just tell Omi that I went out to mediate. He believes everything he's told" He heard Raimundo's thought

"People tell me all the time that I don't believe everything I'm told... and I believe them!" Omi exclaimed as he puts the Conch back in the vault and leaves the temple "Oh, that Raimundo!" Omi jumps on the roofs

Sneaking inside the temple's vault was Raimundo, like Omi, he also used the Mind Reader Conch

"I am still most uncertain of Raimundo's trustworthiness" Raimundo heard Omi's thought, his eyes widen and growls angerly, but before he put the Wu away, he used it again

"Is it me or does my shirt feel tight than usual? Did I grow again? Guess I better do some shopping with Kimiko" Raimundo heard Kyoko's thoughts and he turned bright red. He put the Wu away and quietly sneaks out of the vault

When Raimundo left, Kimiko sneaks inside and uses the Wu

"I can't believe the way Kimiko threw a hissy fit today. She gets angrier than a cat in a hot tub water. Why can't she be calm as Kyoko?" Kimiko heard Clay's thoughts and grew angry

"Angry? Me? I am not angry. I'M THE LEAST ANGRY PERSON I KNOW NEXT TO KYOKO!" Kimiko shouted, but immediately covered her mouth and hoping no one heard her. Once she put the Wu back, she quickly left the vault

In the bushes, Clay was hiding in the bushes except his cowboy hat was showing. Once the coast is clear, he entered the vault

"This place id colder than a hound dog's nose after sniffin in the fridge" Clay said and used the Mind Reader Conch

"If I hear one more lame-o down home saying... ahhhh!" Clay was sadden when he heard Kimiko's thoughts, and decided to use the Wu again

"I wonder if  Master Fung has a book on Tai Chi? I heard it's both relaxing and good for fighting" Clay heard Kyoko's thought, he felt better after hearing voice even if its her thoughts. He put the Wu away and left the temple's vault

For Kyoko, she asked Master Fung if he has a book on Tai Chi. He handed her the book from the temple's library, with the book in hand, Kyoko went back to her room to read the book. On the way to her room, she suddenly felt a pair of eyes staring at her. She looked around, but couldn't see or find anyone. She increased her speed and made back to her room

'That was weird... Who was watching me?' Kyoko asked herself, looking worried

The next day

The Xiaolin Warriors were crying, the reason for that is simple. They were cutting onions, kung fu style. While they were cutting the onions, Dojo started acting funny

"My Dojo senses are tingling! Feeling a strange rumbling" Dojo said

"Yeah, me too" Raimundo said, then the ground started to creak. The creak was heading towards the temple's vault

"We must investigate. I will lead the way!" Omi said

"Why? Because you don't think anyone else can handle it?" Raimundo said with an annoyed look

"What do you mean?" Kyoko asked looking confused, and Omi walked towards Raimundo

"No. It is only you who I have doubts" Omi said as he pointed at him

"Omi, that's about as lowdown as a snake's bellybutton" Clay said

"Snakes don't have bellybuttons!" Kimiko shouted

"I have no idea what's going on, but can you guys please save the arguments for later!" Kyoko shouted as she started running towards the temple's vault

"Wait for us!" Raimundo shouted as he ran to catch up with the girl, then everyone else followed after them. When they got to the vault, they saw Jack Spicer in his latest invention, a new drill machine

"Jack Spicer!"

"That was my old name. From now on, I go by Jack Spicer, Dark Prince of the Universe!" Jack exclaimed as he brought the cover down and escaped through the wall of the temple. The Xiaolin Warriors looked through the hole that Jack created

"We are most lucky that Master Fung does not believe in corporal punishment" Omi said

Kyoko P.O.V

After informing Master Fung what just happened, Raimundo, Clay, Kimiko and Omi were being scolded by Master Fung

"Your infighting has cost us dearly, but if you open up your minds, it can also bring you enlightenment. By pointing out each other's shortcomings, you help each other improve and grow. Both individually and as a team" Master Fung said

"So, you're saying we should thank each other for the insults" Clay said

Omi looked at Raimundo as he sat up

"Thank you for insulting me, Raimundo. I am most appreciative" Omi said

"Oh, no. Thank you for humiliating me" Raimundo said

"Hey, I reckon I owe you a big thank you for making fun of the way I talk" Clay said

"It's a pleasure. And thank you for pointing out my many anger flaws" Kimiko said, and they did a group hug with a forced smiles

'Really?' I sweatdropped at them

"Now go, young warriors and fight together" When Master Fung looked away, my friends glared at each other, but put back on those smiles when Master Fung looked at them again "Using what you've learned from the Conch against your enemies" Master Fung said

Jack Spicer's house

After we finished preparing, we went to Jack's house which became heavily guarded (for some reason) by his bots. We snuck passed the bots and stayed away from the lasers on the ground. When we got on the roof, Clay opened the window and went inside. As we walked through the hallway, we heard something rolling down towards us, we went into our fighting stance. As the sound came closer, we put our guard down when we saw a little girl in a giant hamster ball

"Hi. I'm Megan" The little girl named Megan introduced herself

"Huh, there's something you don't see everyday. A little girl in a hamster ball" Raimundo said

"Are you looking Jack Spicer and the ugly old hag?" Megan asked and we nodded "My stupid cousin Jack thinks he could lock me up inside this thing, but I found the door" Megan opened the door and stepped out

"Excuse me, Megan. We're not only looking for Jack, we're also looking for-" Megan cut me off in my sentence

"All the cool stuff he stole? I'll tell you where it is if you let me play with your dragon" Megan said as she looked at Dojo

Dojo looked nervous and Kimiko grabbed Dojo

"He's yours!" Kimiko said as she gave Megan Dojo

"What?! Don't I have a say in whether or-!"

"No!" We all shouted

After Megan told us where Jack kept the Wu, we started heading down to the basement and sitting on the table was a bag of the Wu he stole

"Do you know what I am thinking?" Omi asked as he was about to grab the bag of Wu

"They might not, but I do!" Stepping out from the shadows was Jack Spicer and in his hands was the Mind Reader Conch "You were thinking 'This is way too easy' and you were right. Guard Bots! Attack!" Jack ordered and his bots started attacking us

"Dragon X Kumei Formation!" Omi shouted and they went into their formation

As we fought, we couldn't land a single hit on them. It was all due to Jack using the Mind Reader Conch, with the Wu in his grasp, he'll be able to hear what our strategies are gonna be

"Guard Bots! Finish them!" Wuya ordered

"Hey! Never tell my Guard Bots what to do! Guard Bots! Finish them!" Jack ordered and we were surrounded. I thought we done for, but Megan comes rushing in while in the giant hamster ball. She ran in circles around us as the bots shot their lasers, but they were deflected by the hamster ball and destroying all the bots

"You may have defeated my Guard Bots..."

"As usual" Wuya said as she rolls her eyes

"But I still have the Conch!" Jack said as he pulled out the Wu and placed it by his ear "Mind Reader Conch!" Jack smirked evilly and ran towards the bag of Wu and both him and Omi grabbed hold of the bag, and it started to glow

"Jack Spicer, I challenge you to a Xiaolin Showdown! My Silk Spinner against your Mind Reader Conch for this bag of Shen Gong Wu!" Omi said

"Fine. And the game is... first to cry 'uncle' loses!" Jack said

"Let's go! Xiaolin Showdown!"

"Gong Yi Tanpai!"

When Omi won the showdown, we put the Mind Reader Conch in the bag

"Thank you, Jack's cousin Megan" Omi thanked her

"And?"

"And thank you, Lady Dojo" Kimiko said and Dojo realized that he was still wearing the bonnet, he immediately took it off and changed his size

"Thank you again, Megan" I thanked her

"Bye bye! Come back again to play some time!" Megan waved goodbye and we headed back to the temple
