Teams of two search the large underground storage facility for more crates baring the XCOM symbol. "Got another one!" One shout out as their gremlin goes over to tag the crate. "You think the Ark of the Covenant is here?"

"What?" The other questioned as they continue down their search route. "What makes you think that?"

Before they could get an answer, a thud echoes and the two ready weapons. They see something move along the tops of the crates. "Call it in." They motion before moving up. Before they knew what had happened, a humanoid figure leaps at them and several shots are fired off.

Moments later and Charlotte comes down to find to two and check there pulses. "Nova. I've got two dead here." She looks across to see a trail of green blood. "We've got an invader in here."

"I'm sending reinforcements. Hold tight." Elizabeth radios but Charlotte turns it off and places on her mask. She follows the blood trail, keeping an eye out. She spots something in the darkness and tall humanoid alien jumps out at her. Her rifle slides off under some crates and before she could retrieve it, the alien lunges at her again.

Rolling and pulling out the combat knife at her thigh, slashing the alien wherever she could to injure it. It falls to the ground and she restrains it just as Elizabeth and her back up arrive. "What the hell is that?" She questions. The alien in question was unlike any they've encountered before. "Take it away." Two soldiers go to take the alien away. Elizabeth looks to the Reaper as she removes her mask. "Don't think I've forgotten about you." She walks off with the rest of the XCOM soldiers present.

After an quick examination from one of the field scientists, they approach Elizabeth looking in the temporary holding cell. "The body in the pod and this one are a match." They report, flipping through notes. "From the physical notes, we've concluded this race to be what is referred to as Judjari. The notes also refer to it as an Outsider but any records from the old war say those were purely energy based." Elizabeth looks over to the scientist with crossed arms. "Whoever made these observations say that the Judjari we're once under the influence of something called Mosaic. Tygan is researching into it at base. They were an ally to XCOM."

Elizabeth enters the holding cell and the alien looks up. "My name is Elizabeth Sangthonglang. Leader of Nova Team a division of XCOM."

"Lies." The Judjari hisses. "The ones you attacked and murdered were XCOM. You are the imposters."

"Those people were Neo Exalt." Elizabeth pulls out a chair and sits in it. "They're our enemy just as the Elders and the Invaders are."

"XCOM warned me of you deceivers." The Judjari narrows its eyes on Elizabeth further. "I will not easily believe in your words. If you fight the Elders, why do you use there power?"

"Survive, adapt, win." Elizabeth plainly said and the Judjari huff, rolling his eyes. "We're the good guys here. It was with the help of Asaru that we were about to repel the Invader's occupation on Earth."

"More lies." The Judjari, not convinced at all by Elizabeth's words, stares at her blankly." Asaru Perished with the Saviour of Earth countless decades ago. What you say is impossible."

Elizabeth, annoyed by its stubbornness, gets up and leaves the interrogation room, stopping at Charlotte and looking her way. "You were supposed to wait for back up." She said and Charlotte rolls her eyes.

"Volk says I am to obey but he didn't say whom I must obey." Charlotte retorts, looking back to the door. "Besides, I had it under control. You should be thanking me." Elizabeth lets out a long sigh and walks off to see the progress on cataloging and salvaging anything.
