"Ring is online!" An engineer calls out as Lily goes through a few last minute checks. Around the same time, Damian enters and the screen flickers on. One half had the Reapers leader, Volk, and the other had the Spokesman shrouded in darkness. Lily and her engineering team leave quickly for them to speak.

"The peace talks could of gone better." Volk began, leaning across the table with interlocked fingers. "But at least now the Skirmishers are for once talking with their mouths and not their guns. My Reapers will do what we can to find the lost Skirmisher."

"We are still working on contacting Betos and the Skirmisher's HQ." Damian informs quickly. "Once that is secure, I'll inform them of your agreed help." Volk nods at this then looks off camera as his side of the screen goes dark. The Councilman enlarges on screen. "Any news from Strike One?"

"Regrettably, no." The Councilman responds which is concerning. For the past few operations Strike-One, lead by the Commander, has been deployed they've been reporting exclusively to the Councilman. As of late they have gone radio silent. "But there is another matter I wish to discuss. The data Phoenix Team extracted from Neo Exalt's servers marks a previously unknown facility dating to before the 2015 Invasion. Why they are interested in the site is unknown. I am sending what I was able to decrypt."

Deeper within the base, an engineer salvaged parts from Advent Mecs and a few beyond repair Sparks. "Alexander?" He looks over his shoulder to see Elizabeth standing there. "Still working on that robot of yours?"

"Unity is more than just a robot." Alexander steps down from the ladder and his smile fades when he notice her avoiding his gaze. Alexander holds her chin and moves to kiss her. "I've missed you."

"I've missed you too." Elizabeth grins before being pulled back in for another kiss. There is a light cough from behind and the two part to see Kris with a raised eyebrow. "Uncle!" Elizabeth panics slightly as the two of them create some space between them. "I was just, uh..."

"Right." Kris nods, unfolding his arms and looking to Alexander. "Leave us." Alexander quickly nods and leaves. Elizabeth sighs and lowers her head. "Boyfriend?" She nods. "Does Chailux know?"

"He's been too busy lately to even notice." Elizabeth rolls her eyes as she falls onto a large box. "Mom too." Kris shakes his head and sits with her. He pulls out two beers and hold one out to her. "I'm 19."

"Legal in Australia." Kris gestures to the flag on her off-duty jumpsuit and she laughs. He dents the bottle next to her and cracks his open. "I know my brother can be a pain. But I would be dead if I let his daughter date an engineer." Elizabeth looks to his inquisitively. "Engineers are the new rockstars." Elizabeth quickly punches her uncle in the arm and he spills a little beer.
