Conner looked like he had been hit with a bullet.

"Conner." Xavier's voice was a little loud and stern, but calm.

"Xavier, bro look, that Sophia girl was lying! I swear she was after my money! She was a liar!" Conner kept on ranting.

"After your money? What do you mean? "I asked him, my head started to hurt, I guess all those shots were getting to me. I gripped on Xavier's arm tightly, he looked at me and held onto my waist with a concerned look. If I was sober, I would've slapped his hand away, but right now I was thankful to him for helping me. I was just exhausted and my mind was not letting me focus on the situation very well.

I knew drinking was a bad idea!

''Damn it, guys! Why do you care for that lying bitch anyways!'' Conner yelled. Xavier and I both glared at Conner whilst Alisha was busy trying to stand still because she kept on stumbling.

''Private room. Now.'' Xavier commanded in a stern voice. Xavier helped me walk in there with Conner following. I turned around to find Alisha drinking from my shots that were left. I sighed. I really wanted to stop her but I was feeling dizzy and weak at the same time.

''Don't worry, the bouncer won't let her leave without us, she's safe,'' Xavier spoke in my ear. I looked at him and nodded. We all entered a small room which had a sofa, a pole in the center and a small stage. Xavier kept me on the sofa like I was made of glass. Well right now, I guess I am.

"Now Conner, spill," Xavier said with his arms crossed.

"Xavier, I swear this Sophia girl was lying! She was after my money and told me she was pregnant, I know she was lying. I just know it! '' Conner said in one breath.

''No she wasn't lying! She was pregnant!'' It was my turn to scream! How dare him!

''Conner I want the whole story,'' Xavier spoke.

Conner sighed before beginning, ''One day I got a call from Zayn, telling me to come to some random address, from the way he spoke I could sense his anger. So I knew it was important. I went to the given address and there was this Sophia girl who told me she was pregnant with my child.'' He darkly chuckled, ''Could you believe it? How low can these wannabes get? She wanted to be my wife, she wanted my money! I knew it! She looked like a slut anyways, so I told her I'm not going to give that thing my name and I left.''

I was speechless. I was shocked. Conner, who I thought was my friend turned out to be such a low grade. Such a bastard! I hated Xavier for years but he was the one who destroyed my sister's life! He was the culprit! And Sophia told me Xavier was the daddy and....WAIT A MINUTE!

Sophia told me Xavier was the father when she knew Conner was the father! What the hell! Why did she lie to me? Why did she take Xavier's name?

''Xavier did you know anything about this.'' I looked at Xavier who looked equally shocked as me.

''No! I didn't know about anything related to this!'' Xavier hissed. I didn't really care because he wasn't mad at me and I knew it.

''He's right, he didn't know, it was me, that Sophia, her friend and Zayn,'' Conner whispered.

''How dare you!'' Xavier roared making me flinch. He started making his way towards Conner with his fist clenched.

''Xavier no!'' I shot up from my seat and grabbed his arm preventing him from moving any further, which was a bad idea because i instantly felt my legs give away.

''Erica leave! This guy has lost it!'' Xavier again charged at Conner, making Conner take a few steps back.

''Conner is not the only one at fault here!'' I whispered. Xavier snapped his eyes from Conner towards me.

''What do you mean?'' He raised his eyebrow at me.

''Sophia lied to me as well...'' I trailed off

''Meaning?'' He asked.

''Told you she was a lying bit-'' Conner was cut in by Xavier, ''Conner shut up!''

Conner huffed and crossed his arms over his chest.

''Erica, what do you mean?'' Xavier asked. Guilt washed over me, I hated him for years and that too for something he didn't do. I hate myself, but right now I hate my sister more. If I could call her that anymore.

''Wait a minute,'' I grabbed my purse and took out my phone. ''What are you doing?'' Xavier asked irritation clear in his voice.

''It's time for us to know the real truth,'' I told him, my voice soft.

''What is going o-''

''Xavier please..'' I kept my finger on his lips and put the phone on speaker with my other hand. Though I was drunk, I couldn't ignore the butterflies I felt in my stomach when my fingers touched his soft lips.

''Hey Erica! What a good surprise! How come you called me?'' My sister snickered.

''Sophia Dixon, who is the father of your child'' I asked her, my voice was loud and clear. I was getting angry. She didn't speak for a minute like she was thinking about something and I knew exactly what she was thinking.

''SOPHIA SPEAK!'' I yelled.

''I-I told you be-before, it's Xavier.'' She whispered. I couldn't believe it, my own sister is lying to me. She lied to me all along!

''WHAT?!'' I heard Xavier yell.

''Sophia, why?'' I sighed. ''Why did you lie to us? We were family, we were supposed to protect each other, love each other and of course, help each other.'' I stifled a sob, ''And don't bother calling mom, I'll be telling her the truth too.'' With that, I hung up. I was crying by now. Tears didn't seem to stop anymore and my heart ached. I loved Sophia, I still do. But it's of no use to stick around for someone who is not honest with you. I felt bad because all this time, my hate for Xavier was not justified.

''Erica.'' Xavier whispered.

''Xavier, I ne-need to go home. I really do.'' I sobbed. Xavier looked at me with hurt in his eyes. I know he felt sorry for me, I know he felt the pity, but I don't need it.

''I'll drop you home.'' Conner suddenly volunteered.

''No I will!'' Xavier growled, never taking his eyes off me.

''Come on bro! That bitch was lying! I was not the father!''

''Just because she said I was the father does not mean you're not the father!'' Xavier held my arm lightly. ''Conner Manhattan, I guess you're off the Williams contract for a while.''

''What!'' Conner took a step forward! ''You're kidding me right?''

''Do I look like I'm kidding!?'' Xavier roared ''Go home now.'' He said rubbing his temples. Conner muttered something under his breath and turned on his heels leaving us alone.

''Erica let's go.'' I looked at him, put my phone back in and sighed. Why is my life so damn difficult? We both went out and the club was quite empty. I looked around and spotted Alisha with Eric. What is he doing here? I rolled my eyes when I saw him and he gave me his infamous smirk.

''I guess your friends busy.'' Xavier chuckled making me blush. ''Yeah, let's get going,'' I grabbed his hands and took him outside. I know Eric's a douche, but he'll take care of Alisha. And I'm in no mood for a drunk girl who'll probably kill me for taking her away from her so called love. I stood there waiting for Xavier to get his car. It's really cold out here. I turned to my left when I heard a loud engine roar. Xavier was in his new red Lamborghini. God this sexy guy and his sexy cars! I opened the door and got inside. Xavier smiled at me, which I returned as well.

After driving for an hour in silence, we reached our destination. Xavier stopped outside my house. He was about to unbuckle his belt when I stopped him.

''You stay here. I'll be heading home and there's no reason for you to get out.'' I was serious. It's damn cold outside.

He gave me an are-you-crazy look and chuckled.

''Fine ma'am.'' He held his hands up in surrender making me laugh.

''Xavier? '' I whispered.

''Yes Erica?'' Xavier whispered back.

''I'm sorry. Sorry for hating you for years and that too for something you never did...''

''It's okay, it wasn't your fault actually,'' Xavier smiled and I smiled back. I was happy that he was so understanding. I nodded and got out of the car. I shut the door and started walking inside when I heard a horn from behind. I turned around and saw Xavier smiling at me. I raised my eyebrow at him.

''Nothing just wanted to know if you're coming to my house tomorrow.'' He asked casually.

''Your house?'' I asked him. ''Yeah, mom's bugging me to bring you home. Geez did you cast a spell on her or something?'' He chuckled making me giggle as well.

''Sure,'' I smiled at him, but then I realized something. ''No, actually I'm not sure,'' I spoke a little soft.

''Because I need to tell mom about Sophia's big lie. I don't know how she'll handle it.'' Xavier nodded understandingly. ''It's okay, I understand. Just let me know, okay?''

I nodded.

''Bye Erica.''

''Bye Xavier.'' I turned on my heels and heard the engine roar. I turned the knob and to my surprise, the door was already open. I quietly entered making sure I didn't wake up my mother. I really don't want a spanking at this age. Plus tomorrow's a big day for me. I have to tell mom the truth.

Now all I got to do is go upstairs and ch- ''MIND TELLING ME WHERE YOU HAVE BEEN YOUNG LADY?'' Mother's voice echoed through the hall making me freeze in place.
