I ran towards the border of the ground where Camen had set up camp, crying. I was barefoot and had on a pair of short shorts and a night shirt to look like I had been kicked out of the pack before bed.

Two men stood at the border both of them being from my old pack. They looked shocked to see me as if they were lead to believe I was either dead or killed by the man that they served.

I was stopped by the shield and "panicked" as I broke down into tears. "Please, help," I cried. "Please, he's after me. He's going to kill me!" I banged on the shield, shaking.

'Fuck, I forgot how good of an actor you are,' Charlie said, causing me to mentally smirk at him. Anger filled his voice, and I knew that he was mad at Xavier.

"Get Camen," one of the men said to the other. "Go! Now!" He was very concerned, and I could tell that he hated seeing me like this. "Alpha Cass? Calm down, who is after you?" he asked as the other ran off to get him. He didn't move towards me, and I had a feeling that he couldn't.

"X-X-Xavier Langham," I sobbed. I fell to the ground and tried to get through the force field. "H-h-h-" I couldn't finish as a strangled half scream/half sob left my lips. My whole body shook, and I made sure that they could tell I was "scared."

The male stiffened as soon as his name left my lips, and he growled, causing me to flinch away from him. "How the hell are you still alive if you were with him?" he asked, spatting the "him" part. "You've heard the rumors, Cassandra. Your uncle warned you not to mess with him."

I had to hold myself back and bite my tongue as soon as he said that. I wanted to tell him that he had warned me about Camen, but I didn't. I, also, wanted to tell him that my uncle was wrong, but I didn't tell him that either.

"Well, well, well," Camen said, coming over to where we were at. His voice sent a chill down my spine, and I could tell that he was very pissed at me. "Look at what the wolf dragged in. Did he get tired of you?" he asked.

"I don't know," I whined. I didn't look up, but I could tell that Joel and Tito were standing over me as well. "H-he took me on d-date yesterday. He had been acting strange before then, a-and..." I shook my head. "H-h-he kissed me, and I felt nothing, so I admitted that I-I was still in love with you."

"What else did you do?" he asked, his voice turning a shade darker. "Did you have sex with him, Slut?" he asked.

I shook my head, staying silent.

"Let her in, Antonio," he said, his voice turning darker. "Now!"

Tito muttered something under his breath, and the shield "disappeared" which lead me to fall halfway through it.

I gasped when Camen grabbed my hair and pulled me all the way in. I reached for his hand to make him let go which caused him to get angrier.

"Make sure she can't escape the confines of the camp without me by her side."

Tito did what he was told to do, and I could feel the spell closing in on me, making me feel trapped. "It has been done," he said.

"Good," Camen said. He threw me at the barrier and a wave of pain ran up my back and head as I hit the barrier hard.

"Si-" Tito started when Camen grabbed my head and started to bang it on the barrier with Joel and the other male watching as well. He stopped talking as soon as he saw my look.

Camen stopped banging my head on the barrier and turned his hard gaze to Tito. "What?" he asked. "Can't you see that I am doing something?"

"I am aware, and I apologize for stopping you, but don't you want to hear what else she had been doing without your knowledge?"

Camen narrowed his eyes and scowled. He tossed me to the ground and ignored the soft whimper of pain that escaped my tight lips. "Well?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "What have you been doing, my little Pet? Have you been doing anything that will make me angry with you?"

I didn't reply. I knew that whatever I had done would make him angry because I was not with him.

"Come on, Little Pet," he said, kneeling down. He grabbed my face roughly until I looked at him. His soulless brown eyes stared in my eyes. "You already know that I am going to be mad. The best thing that you can do is tell me everything. Do you understand?"

I tried to nod but couldn't because of his hand on my face.

Camen brushed my cheek roughly, causing me to wince. "Will you be a sweet little girl and tell me?" he asked.

"Yes," I replied.

"Everything?"

"Everything."

Camen squeezed my face roughly before letting go. "Good," he said. "Now, get started."

So, I told him what had happened to me, but I only told him what he wanted to hear.

He wasn't the only one good with words.

I wove a story that made Xavier seem like the bad guy and how Camen was the best thing that had happened to me. I made sure that Camen couldn't tell that I was lying to him because what I was saying made me sick.

After I finished my tale, Camen backhanded me across the face, cutting my lip in the process. "That is for leaving and going straight to him," he said, ignoring the fact that I had never met him again after he left the prison. "I can not believe that you did that to me."

"I know, I am sorry," I said, looking down and curbing my anger. "Forgive me?"

"Of course, my little Toy," he said. He grabbed me roughly by the arm and pulled me into a standing position. "You came back to me, and that is the best thing you can do right now."

I didn't reply feeling sick. I knew that it wasn't the best idea for me, but I did it to protect the ones that I loved.

"Now, why don't you be a good girl and go back to my tent. I made sure to... bring your bed with me. We don't want you getting any ideas, right?"

I nodded my head, staying silent.

"Good, go to my tent and get naked. I think it is time for you to remember who you belong to. Do you understand?"

"Yes, Alpha," I said, nodding my head. I was about to go the way where I knew his tent would be but stopped when he said "Little Pet."

Camen was scowling and holding out his hand when I turned to look at him. "I want your precious dog tag," he said. "I am surprised that they even gave you another one. You are too weak to be a part of them."

I didn't reply and made sure that my face was blank as I took off the dog tag, flicking the small switch to give off my location before giving it to him.

'I got the signal. They'll be here soon,' Charlie said while Camen took it from me.

"Destroy it," Camen said, handing it to Tito. "Is that all?"

"Yes, Alpha," I replied, robotically.

"She is telling the truth," Tito said when Camen looked at him.

Camen nodded. "Good, now go to the tent and wait there naked for me. It's the biggest one. I am sure that you already guessed that, Little Pet."

"Yes, Alpha," I said and numbly walked to the tent. I grunted when Tito shoved me hard and took what he offered me.

"Freak," he grunted.

I didn't respond but walked away, knowing full well that Camen didn't care about his treatment of me.

I couldn't wait until he was dead, but I knew that I had to wait. The time wasn't right, not yet.

I made it to the tent and pushed open the curtain to see how he was living lavishly while the others weren't as lavish as this.

A soft plush carpet was underneath my feet and covered the whole length of the floor. It was this cream-colored white, and it made me feel a bit sick because it reminded me so much of my wolf that it wasn't funny.

On the far side of the tent, a bed sat in one corner covered in the most comfortable fabric and looked like his bed back at the pack house. On the other side sat his desk papers strewn over it and caught my attention.

Curiosity filled my body, but I made no move towards it as I inspected the rest of the tent and making secret hiding spots that I would be able to use for my stuff.

I pursed my lips when I caught sight of my "bed," a bloody and torn blanket that laid on the foot of my ex-mate's bed. The sudden urge to tear up and burn the pieces was strong, but I didn't do it as I made my way to Camen's desk.

Slowly, I opened my hand and looked down to see Tito had given me three items after he had shoved me.

One item was this slim sheet of what looked like Listerine, but I knew that it wasn't. On the sheet of paper it was stuck to said that I wouldn't get pregnant unless I was marked by someone, which was something I was grateful for.

I picked the little thing off the piece of paper and placed it on my tongue. It dissolved quickly and caused me to shudder as I felt the magic take effect on my body.

The second item was this bracelet that would allow me to cross through the border with Camen not with me and let me be "trapped" when he was.

"Thank, Goddess," I whispered, putting the bracelet on and watching as it disappeared. 'Are they close?' I asked.

'Not yet,' Charlie replied. 'They will be soon.'

I grunted in response as I studied the third item he had given me.

It was a black dot the size of a speck of dirt. This dot had a smaller dot blinking, and I knew that it was recording everything.

Slowly, I pulled the small dot off of the piece of paper and stuck it to the underneath side of his desk before tapping it twice.

'It's up,' Charlie said. 'And some crossed the border. They will be there soon.'

I grunted in response as I tore up both pieces of paper and tossed them to the ground. I watched as they disappeared before they hit the ground and sensed someone behind me.

Quickly, I turned around, knowing that it was a Guardsmen and opened my mouth. "Let m-" was the only thing I got out before everything turned black.
