Chapter 18 (Edited)

I groaned as I was tossed against the wall. "Seriously?" I asked, glaring at Julian. "Again?"

"Yes," Julian said, nodding his head. He had a satisfied smirk on his face, causing me to growl out in anger. His face paled a bit, and he looked rather nervous. "Um..." he said, hesitantly. "I love you?"

"She can't shift, remember?" Justin said, causing me to shoot him a glare. "Though, I am sure she still can do some damage." 'You are still scary as fuck,' he linked me, causing me to give him a satisfied smirk.

"Then why don't you fight her?" Julian asked, watching as I stood up again.

"I am not the one that had taunted her," Justin replied. "That was all on you."

The door to the training room opened and Xavier walked in with TJ, Clara, Parker, Dr. Trent, and Bryson.

"Baby!" Julian said, making his way to my son. "Come to Uncle Julian."

"No, we are not done yet, Julian Abrams. No baby until we do the best out of five. We had only done two battles."

"We only had done two battles, and I am not done being thrown into a wall," Julian mocked, causing me to growl again. His face paled slightly, and he took in a gulp of air. "Goddess, you are still scary," he said.

"Circle. Now," I said, walking to the circle. I almost punched Justin when he touched my shoulder and let him pull me into a hug. I buried my face into his shoulder and closed my eyes.

"Remember what Commander had said. Use your emotions to your advantage. Don't let them cloud your thoughts or your judgment." His voice was soft as he talked in my ear, making sure that I was the only one to hear.

I nodded my head and took in a deep breath as I relaxed. I offered my brother a smile as he pulled away, causing him to smile and nod his.

"Kick his ass," he said, loud enough to cause Julian to gasp out loud.

"What? Did my ears actually hear what you had to say?" he asked. "Did you just tell our sister to kick your own flesh and blood ass?"

"Yes," Justin said, nodding his head. He walked over to Xavier and took Bryson from him. "Besides, the baby loves me more than you."

"Cassandra," he whined. "Get him."

"Not until I am done with you," I said, causing him to widen his eyes in shock.

"But, aren't you scared that the enemy will know your weaknesses and use them against you?" he asked, nodding his head to both Parker and Xavier since today was the day that I was supposed to fight seven people and then the Gamma, Beta, and Alpha.

Xavier growled out a warning and narrowed his eyes. He set his jaw, and I could tell that he did not like Julian's answer.

"He doesn't mean it like that," I said, causing Xavier to look at me. I offered him a small smile. "He means that you could use my... weaknesses against me tonight in battle."

"We... don't have to do the thing tonight, do we?" Parker asked. He looked rather worried, and I could tell that he did not like the fact that I might not be able to actually win. "I know that we already set it up, but... I don't know if you will be able to handle it." He looked at me.

I shrugged my shoulder. "I will be able to," I said. "I want to get this over with." I narrowed my eyes at my brother. "You aren't getting out of this."

Julian groaned. "Fine," he said. He placed his hands up, pouting. "Don't kill me?" he asked, causing me to roll my eyes.

"You should have thought about the consequences when you kept throwing me into a wall."

"After this fight, I want you to take a break. No matter who wins or loses, ok?" Dr. Trent said, causing me to nod my head.

I took a deep breath and let it out as I walked into the circle. I nodded my head to my brother, causing him to nod his head.

Julian was the first to move. He lunged at me, causing me to duck out of his reach before landing a kick on his back.

"What was that?" Justin asked.

"It's an "I am sorry, please don't kill me"," he said.

"I can't. You already know that," I said. I ducked underneath his punch. "It is against the code."

"Well, you can still send me to the hospital," Julian said. He again lunged at me, again causing me to move out of the way and deliver a kick to his back.

"Yes, but that is only because you are acting like a dick," I replied. "So, shut up and fight me, Bitch."

"Yay! She finally called me a bitch," Julian cheered, causing me to roll my eyes. "I am so happy!"

"Why?" Parker asked.

"Because it has been too long," Julian said, dramatically. "For me to hear something so provocative coming from such a beautiful mouth."

"Shut up," I said. "And let's get this over with."

"Fine," Julian said. "But you owe me ice cream for breaking my heart."

"Whatever," I said, rolling my eyes.

And with that, we both started to fight each other, this time not joking around as we tried to see who would come on top.

I did it, barely, but I still did it. I won the battle between Julian and I.

I had him on his back with my arm on his throat and my legs trapping his arms against his waist.

Julian struggled and tried to get out of my grasp but failed. He huffed loudly when I put a little more pressure on his throat and stopped moving. "Fine," he complained. "I submit. Let me up, Freak," he grumbled, playfully.

I rolled my eyes at him and got up, making sure to put some pressure on his dick causing him to groan out in pain.

"I hate you," he said, clutching his private area. "Why did you have to squish my baby maker?"

"Because it was in my way," I said. I limped over to where we had water bottles waiting for us and took one that wasn't opened. "Why else would I do it?"

"I don't know," Julian said. He sat up, and I could that he had caught me limping. "Are you ok?" he asked, furrowing his brows. "Did I hurt you?"

I shook my head, taking a sip of water. "My left leg just doesn't want to work right."

"If Dr. Trent says that you can't fight tonight, then we will not fight," Xavier said, watching as he walked over to me. "We will do it tomorrow."

I hesitated but nodded my head. I was nervous, to be honest. I had no idea if I would be able to do it if I didn't do it today. I knew that my health was more important than this, but I wanted to prove myself to myself that I was strong and that there wasn't anything wrong with me, mentally and physically.

Dr. Trent took the water bottle from me and guided me to the center of the training room. "Lie down," he said, causing me to lie down. "Leg."

I gave him my left leg, knowing that he wanted the one that was giving me problems. I had no idea what was wrong, but I hoped that he would be able to help.

Dr. Trent pushed my leg towards my chest. "Tell me when to stop," he said.

"Stop," I said when he started to push it closer to my head. I gritted my teeth and closed my eyes as I took in a deep breath to stop myself from cussing.

Dr. Trent nodded his head. "Bend your leg as low as you can," he said, tapping the part he wanted me to bend. "Tell me when you can't."

I nodded my head and bent my knee as far as it would go. "Ok," I said, closing my eyes. "That is as far as I can bend it."

Dr. Trent hummed and nodded his head before letting go of my leg. "Ok," he said. "Stand up."

I did what I had said. I placed my hands on his shoulders, knowing what he wanted me to do. This hadn't been the first time that I had done this, and I trusted him enough to know that he wouldn't do anything to hurt me.

He placed his hands on my hips, causing Xavier to growl softly. "Twist," he said, ignoring the Alpha.

I did what I said, letting out a slow hiss.

"Well, it looks like you might need to take it easy after the fights. I am going to need you to stretch those muscles. For now, I think icing will work until you are finished with them."

"Are you sure?" Xavier asked. "She could get hurt."

"She is a Guardsman, Alpha," Dr. Trent said. "She is used to this." He looked at me. "I will see if I can't get something for you. We're going to have to see what dosage now that you don't have a wolf, but we can do something."

Relief filled my body as I nodded my head. I was grateful that they were going to find a treatment for me because there was no way in hell I wanted to see my uncle limping.

"Do what?" Parker asked.

"We have something called a "Quick Fix"," Justin explained. "Sometimes, Guardsmen get injured on the go, and they use it to help boost a Werewolf's healing process."

"It's basically a shot," I said. "They test everything before giving it out to the Guardsmen to see if there are any side effects."

"It's part of the care package that all Guardsmen receive," Julian said. He snapped his fingers as if something went off in his head. "Which reminds me, they had given you a new one, and I just remembered it. I'll be back." And with that, he raced out of the room, causing me to shake my head, silently.

Goddess, help him.
