Top 5 Classic Cartoon Network Shows
I did say I was going to get to this at one point.
Time to go back in time before Cartoon Network didn't air constant reruns of Johnny Test or Teen Titans GO!
Here are my Top 5 Favorite Classic Cartoon Network Shows.
Note: these shows are programs are no longer airing on Cartoon Network, but may be airing on its sister channel, boomerang, just not making new episodes.
5) Johnny Bravo:
I never really understood this show as a kid, until I entered high school when I realized the joke was Johnny never got the girl...Ever! I also thought this show made a whole generation of what I like to call, Douche Bros.
4) Chowder
Before CH Greenblatt created Harvey Beaks, he created chowder, a show about a young chef who possibly also had a eating disorder because he eats......EVERYTHING! I wish I was joking but I'm not.
3) Dexter's Labratory
(That is the Banned Episode, rude removal that [adult swim] uploaded a few years ago and has been on the internet ever since, when you watch it you get why it was banned.)
Dexter is a young boy genius.
So basically it's a 2D version of Jimmy Neutron?
No, mainly because it aired 3 years before Jimmy Neutron, the parents don't know of his lab, and lastly, Jimmy was an only child, Dexter has an annoying Older Sister DeeDee.
2) Codename: Kids Next Door.
I already talked about this in my journal, but, basically this was a show about Kids Taking on Adults. And also some insane kids, especially one of the Main Bad Guys, The Delightful Children from Down The Lane.
Also a couple of years ago this was uploaded to YouTube by the creator of the show for a sequel:
Anyway, Cartoon Network won't greenlight it, we all know the reason, but luckily there is a petition to help change their minds, I recommend you look it up to see.
Honarble Mentions:
I got nothing, I''ll get back to this another time.
1) Ed, Edd, and Eddy:
This was, and still is, Cartoon Network's best tv show, in my opinion. I honestly think Cartoon Network wouldn't be the network it is today without this show.
This was actually made entirely in Canada, but weirdly enough, takes place in the US, I think they never really explained where it was set in. Also no joke, I still find myself calling a turkey baster, a Canadian Squirt Gun.
Don't take any offence to that my readers from Canada, I like about 99% of what you guys make, the 1% is Justin Bieber and Johnny Test, that I know you're not proud of either.
Those are my picks for the top 5 best classic Cartoon Network, shows, if I missed something, tell me in the comments. I''ll See you next time.
