The weekends passed and Xabara is now standing at front of the Arena. Huminga siya nang malalim bago pumasok sa loob kasama ang mga kaibigan nito. She bid goodbye to her friends as she walk on the other path were the freshmen were sitting.

The Headmistress is now walking in the center holding a microphone in her hand. Tumingin muna si Xabara sa likuran ng may tumapik sa kanya. It was Gabrielle who's giving her cheering signals. Xabara nod to him and smiles.

"Good morning fellow students, now we were witnessing the battle levelling of our freshmen students. Just like before freshmen will be enclose in a cube of magic which I designed myself. They're task is to make their best impact or better itself break the cube. The glass will tell itself what level the student will be. Now let us all applaud to our new students, peers and friends as they will continue our aim, in peace and prosperity!"

The Headmistress words glib the students mind to aim the best they can. Xabara looks at the others and observe that fear isn't visible to their eyes. She can only see determination and greed to prove what they have. However, Xabara is anxious seeing the huge crowds and cheering she felt a sting of fear that she might disappoint her friends. They know how she practices hard for this day and how notable this activity is.

She looks around and found the three Knights in the corner where other 'Rank 1' is sitting. Theodore is in his usual annoyed and glares as he watches a freshman vampire in the magic cube. She couldn't feel herself. He forgot that it's actually starting. But as she observe the people at the top a prick in her heart made a realization call of what she really wanted.

"I want to be there"

Forgotten that she isn't alone someone in her side heard what she dreamt.

"You dream big girl"

Xabara glares at the girl who is observing her a while ago. She notices her stares as she sat earlier but she did not mind.

"Why do you even care?" Xabara's voice is in low character, afraid that she'll make another mistake by hearing her words to the others and probably, making her the biggest wishful, dreamer and think highly student in the Academy.

Strangely, the audience is extremely quite like they were watching a boring entertainment show.

"I just find you annoying and ambitious and I don't like it"

Xabara rolled her eyes instead of answering her. Bumalik ang tingin nito sa gitna ng arena kung saan ang isang bampira ay kinakalaban ang isa pang bampira. She's confused of what's happening. The thought of breaking the wall is easy but having someone to duel inside the cube while doing the real task isn't.

"Multitasking ba ito?"

On the other hand, what use of a vampire to break the cube? Ngunit lahat nang katanangun sa isip ni Xabara ay naglaho ng humugot ang bampira ng isang espada mula sa likuran nito.

"Is that allowed?"

"Yes, the vampires and werewolves are exempted they are more like knights in this game but in a special way if you know what I mean"

"What's so special about them?"

"Duh Knights are just Knights while the Vampires can do both"

Xabara remembered what Mattew said of how being a witch isn't something to brag. But she couldn't disagree more being simply a witch and a knight is more wonderful than being a princes and princesses who were born to have element in their palm. No sweats, no so much hardwork, and no need to be sympathize.

Xabara keep asking the girl who is secretly annoyed to her presence.

"Does everyone have the same obstacle when you are in a cube?"

"What having someone to duel inside while trying to affect the wall?"

Xabara nodded.

"You see that sword is connected to the cube on how much you swing or your strength you're putting, it is the same amount of the impact to the cube. Pagtinira mo ang kalaban parang tinira mo na rin ang cube. In other words the cube and your duel is one but if you could hit both it's a big advantage to your ranking"

"Ahhh" iyun na lamang ang nasabi ni Xabara.

"Ahhh..Why am I talking to you anyway your annoying!" pang-aasar nito kay Xabara.

Natawa na lamang siya ng mahina. She felt a little bit assured that she could grab attention to others even though they found her annoying. She's attention seeker and desperate to be loved and them being annoyed and loathing her is a good way to start.

The person who is in the cube is over and he got a level of 87. He never hit the wall and focuses only to his opponent who is much stronger than him.

When Xabara's turn came her friends shouted so loudly. Some audience who fell asleep woke up from the noise they make. Napakamot na lamang ng ulo si Xabara at seninyasan sila na tumigil.

"WOOOOAAAH"

"GO XABARA!"

"KAIBIGAN NAMIN IYAN"

"NAWATCHMEWEP! NAWATCHMENENE"

Natawa na lamang si Xabara at huminga ng malalim bago pumunta sa gitna. Gabrielle waves her hand to her and smiles brightly. Ngumiti sa kanya si Xabara at nagpatuloy sa paglalakad. Mula rin sa kalayuan hindi matigil ang pagsisigaw nina Alvin at Simon kaya hindi mapigilan ng iba na mausisa kung sino si Xabara.

Meanwhile, Xabara couldn't hear anything as she entered the magic cube. Her heart is thumping very fast as she faces the person she'll duel. A witch on her 20's is now facing Xabara with a stern all over her face. The woman bows her head and so did Xabara do. It was the cue that the game begins.

The woman held her wand in Xabara's front and cast a spell which made her fly away and grunts in pain. She felt the pain in his back and shoulder as she land in a harden wood. The lady cast another spell and made her out of breath.

Ang mga kamay ngayon ni Xabara ay nasa leeg at sinasakal ang sarili. She thinks of using the wood to hover it and so she did. The action made the lady out of focus and Xabara stood up and made her own cue to revenge.

"The strength of which is good as none when evil and I is one"

She remembered this spell from a book she likes it was called "Descendants"

As Xabara pointed her wand upward and chatter the spell the witch grunt in pain and bruise is visible in her arms. A sound of crack in the wall took everyone's attention. The wound made her slip her own wand and land it to the floor. It still a minute passed and she know that she can do better for the remaining minute but the wand already fell off and the game ends. It is a sign of defeat to every witch in the Realm and causes Xabara to win.

The audience roared and her friends jump in their seats and so are the Knights and even Gabrielle. Mattew on the other hand smiling smoothly claps his hands. But no one knows that the happiest person for Xabara's achievement is the Emperor of the Realm who is currently laughing out of joy around the corner where no one could see and know that it is him.

Xabara got the Level of 93 which made her to the Rank 2.
