Also in this one, this is after they go across the ice.

     It had only been a day since all the animals had heard the news of the future flooding. They were all moving together in a large herd....well most of them. There were 2 groups together and a loner that was separated from everyone else. The loner though was none other than (y/n).
     She had left her pack long ago, tired of how her alpha had run it. She was only the first of many who left the pack, but that never stopped her from tracking the other animals to stay near them.
     Currently, (y/n) was trudging along a dirt path, following the mixing scents of two possums. Usually having a lot of energy to hunt, today she was feeling quite tired. She kept waking up throughout the night, feeling as if she was getting hit in the head with little rocks. Though in the morning, her thoughts were true as she noticed multiple tiny rocks surrounding where she had slept, along with the smell of possums drafting over them.
     Hearing voices up ahead, she crouched slightly as she looked through some bushes. As the wind hit her face, she perked up catching multiple scents; mammoths, sloth, possum, and another saber.
     Flattening her ears, she shook her head a little in disbelief. It had been a while since she last saw another sabertooth, but despite her excitement she was still hungry. Looking ahead in the path, she noticed two mammoths walking away while the saber and sloth followed after two possums.
     Licking her fangs, (y/n) turned and trotted along the bushes after the saber, sloth, and possums. Keeping her eyes on the possums, she failed to notice how the other saber looked back.
     Diego hummed softly as he furrowed his brows catching a faint glimpse of (f/c) fur. Frowning slightly, he looked around a little before looking at Sid, Crash, and Eddie. His ears twitched a little as he could hear a almost silent patter of feet near them, heading towards Eddie and Crash.
     Picking up his pace, his eyes narrowed a little as he ignored Sid. As he heard the other mysterious pair of paws, he growled slightly before yelling to the possums, "Get down!"
     The two stopped a moment looking at each other confused, "Hu-Aahhh!?" The two looked up screaming, hugging eachother tightly as a (f/c) saber tooth leaped from the bushes at them. Her roar echoed around them before being cut off as she was tackled to the side by Diego.
     The two rolled over a little before it ended up with (y/n) pinned on her back. Shaking her head, the female looked up at the tan saber growling softly, "What was that for!? Now my dinner is gonna get away!"
     Raising a brow, Diego leaned down slightly and growled back at her, "Oh yeah? Well too bad kitty, cause those possums aren't gonna be you're dinner. But you could try to eat something else."
     (Y/n)'s ears flattened as she squirmed herself out from under him sighing, "Don't call me kitty... Even if I were to find something else to eat, what would it be?"
     Stepping back a little from her, Diego motioned to his right walking a little, "Follow me. I can lead you to some berries."
     Raising a brow at him, the (f/c) furred female gaped a little, "Berries!? What kind of saber eats berries!?"
Rolling his eyes, Diego focused his hazel-green ones with hers, "A type of saber that wouldn't want to starve. Now follow me if you don't want to be hungry."
     Huffing softly, (y/n) hesitantly followed after him. Her paws dragging softly, leaving a little trail behind her as she followed Diego through bushes into a different area, leaving Sid, and the possums to watch in fear and interest.
     Hearing her paws dragging, Diego looked back and finally took notice of how tired (y/n) looked. Frowning softly, he slowed down his stride to walk next to her, "How long has it been since you last eaten?"
     Looking up at him, (y/n) shrugged as she lowered her head yawning, "Probably 2 days ago. If I had gotten more sleep last night, then I probably could have hunted better today."
     Frowning slightly, Diego stopped next to a bush of berries, "Well, these blackberries should fill ya up, maybe even give you more energy."
     Pricking her ears, she raised her head as she looked at him then the berries, "Hopefully." Reaching out, she grabbed a berry before eating it.
     Watching her, Diego tilted his head a little as he sat down, "So? How does is taste?"
     (Y/n)'s ears pricked softly as she turned to him smiling, "I-It tastes good!" Looking back at the bush, she started eating more, feeling less hungry than she did earlier.
     Diego chuckled softly as he took in her appearance, finding her to be quite cute, "That's good."
     She nodded before eventually pulling away from the bush, licking her lips of any extra berry juice, "Yeah. How did you know these berries would help me?"
     He smiled as he scratched behind his right ear, "Because sometimes when I get hungry, I would wat blackberries. It helps calm my hunger when I'm around my herd."
     (Y/n) perked up as she looked at him confused, "Your herd? How did you manage to join a herd? Wouldn't they just run you out?"
     Diego shook his head as he stood stretching his back, "A normal herd would. But this one, we are friends, we protect and help eachother."
     She frowned softly as she was drawn back to her past for a few seconds, "Heh. Sounds nice to have a herd."
     Thinking, Diego smiled as he walked, standing himself in front of her, "How about you stay with me?" Realizing his words, he coughed, "Like-Join the herd. Then you would get to know what it's like to be part of the herd."
     The (f/c) furred female giggled as she stood, leaning forward to gently nuzzle him, "I think I like the sound of that."
     Diego's ears perked forward as he chuckled nuzzling back, "Good." Pulling away, he started leading her back to the others, "You're gonna love being part of the herd."
     (Y/n) giggled softly as she walked alongside him, gently nuzzling him as the two walked back, "I don't doubt that I will love it."
