While exploring ice cavern, she comes across a blue and white egg. When she searched for the mother, she finds her body torn apart and about a few meters away from the nest. Garnet grabs the egg and takes it home with her and waits for it to hatch. When the egg hatches, she thinks that Garnet is its mother and clings to her. When Garnet is on a mission with the reader, she is attacked by a bull corruption and gets the reader to a safe spot away from the fight. During the fight, the bull knocks Garnet off the side of a cliff. The reader then jumps after her and starts to evolve into a noivern and catches Garnet on her back. Once back on land, the reader uses sonic boom from her ears to make the corruption confused and attacks it to the point that the corruption poofs.
