Dream Sequence Nightmare...

There he stands, opens his eyes in horror as he is a burning building but that said building is his home, where he and his parents lives at as Grant was just stood there, unable to move or make a sound until...

His eyes were then saw his father on the ground with his wife by his side not moving at all.

Whatever triggered him, Grant then move to the unmoved parents as he saw blood all over their clothes, hands and face as Grant wanted to do something, anything to help them as he reached down he can almost feel his heart racing in fear and anxiety...

Suddenly a hand grabbed Grant's hand tightly as this startled him as he sees his barely alive father with eyes full of disappointment to him.

"Y-you... could have... saved us..." Peter says with no emotion in his words.

As Grant was beyond shock and frightened he didn't have time to think as the room he is in has now changed completely as he is troubled about this and when the room finishes the change Grant once again finds himself standing up straight only to see another unbelievable situation he sees.

If Grant thought that the last scenario was bad, he is gonna get another one that is worse, as he shocked to see that his parents were not bloody anymore but was tied up together in a chair as a dark figure stand in front of his parents and holds a knife.

Seeing enough to know what that person is about to do Grant start running but couldn't move for some reason and when he looked down at the problem, Grant stares in horror for what he has just saw.

He couldn't see his feet as the solid ground he once stood, has now transformed into some kind of a wormhole as it is holding him in place preventing him from doing anything as it is slowly developing his feet and now reaches his knees.

As Grant try's very hard to move from his spot he then tries to use his powers but as he try's to use it, his fists wouldn't be covered in rocky obsidian matter, as he then heard a scream he looked up to see what is happening.

The dark figure has made a cut of his mother's face, and his father was obviously beyond angry at this but soon as he did that the figure started stabbed into Grant's father's ribs as he grunted in pain from it.

Grant is now trying to move around in the trap he is in faster but the more he did, the quicker the swirling ground devoured his half of his body, as Grant is now at the point of emotional suffering as he shedding tears of frustration at his helpless situation as he forced to watch the horrific scene.

As the dark figure finished cutting and stabbing his parents, he then pulled out a bottle of sorts but Grant can barely see the name of it, as his widened in disbelief.

Grant frantically shook his head to not do this to his parents, but he still couldn't for some reason say anything to make this stop, as the figure poured the alcoholic drink all over his parents as he can smell it from his position.

As the guy is done, he tossed it aside and pulled out a lighter in hand, as he flicks it the small fire comes from it.

Grant face is pouring tears now as he begs the person to not do this, but as time moves slowly as he holds it out in front of them.

He drops it and once it touches the puddle of alcohol beer, it instantly becomes fire and at the moment everything envelops in a huge light.

Dream Sequence Nightmare ended...

Grant just shot up from his bed covers as he is sweating in both fear and panting from the dream as he recuperate of his surroundings he remembered where he is now.

As he started to calm down Grant is now reminded of the recent events happen after a few days, minus the mysterious person in his dream, there was a fire and his parents were killed by the cause of fire and since then he is now fully into the new life as a new superhero team member called the X-Men.

Since that he was given a private training by Logan, Grant had suffered some injuries but when he was placed back into the medical room, his injuries was treated by Storm whose real name is Ororo Munroe Grant didn't asked her real name behind the name Storm, but since that he was in the medical room she felt that he needed to know her real name but that was all she could give him. Beyond that Grant could tell she is a nice and respectful person who he learned from the professor Xavier that she is one of the individuals aside from Logan that Xavier trusted.

Now after the day of the said training Grant would have gone back to school after that, but when Professor X talked with about getting rest for about few days from not only the fight he had with a training bot but also to still mourned about his dead parents. Plus he needed to have new stuff for school to take with and since that the stuff he did have was all burned by the fire and because he still needs to recover from both trama and the beating, Jean and Storm was kind enough to help him out by the professor request, they had to ask Grant what sizes that he wears for school and what binders he needs to use for classes he has for his school schedule.

As Grant looks outside as it's still dark and the clouds are about to be a rainstorm of sorts which is very typical for the nature of the weather to act like during the night of that dream he just had.

Grant just sighed heavily as he is his pajamas as he is still in bed he placed both his hands on his face as he is sort of trying to calm his frights.

'It's... it's been 5 days since what happened to my parents. The nightmares just won't let up. Great! This will bother me for awhile tomorrow at school. Oh well. Hopefully things will get better there then it was that night. Better get back to sleep.' Grant thought to himself in depressed as he pulled the covers over him as he trys to sleep again as he is started to get another bad night.

And unknown to him someone in the city is about to have a very bad night than he is right now.

Elsewhere at someone's house...

During the same night after Grant went back to sleep a couple hours later the thunderstorm had arrive but hasn't started raining yet but there in the surroundings of the trees and bushes there is a nice house in the middle of forest as it's not far away from the town but the people live it were decent people and it is host by a family of three, a middle age man with glasses and his wife also the same age, and their teenage girl who is young as a 15 year old girl and together as a family, they are the Pryde family.

As the parents are asleep in their rooms in the other side of the house, their daughter is also asleep too at first as she is in bed with pajamas on with that brown ponytail, but with lighting storms cracked noise outside she seems to be squirming around in her bed as the window in her room was crack open the wind is blew in the room as this made the girl moving around again as she groans from the restless she feels or rather she is dreaming about something.

Dream Sequence Nightmare...

In the dream the girl is having is that she is flying in the air flew past a tall building and as she is flying around the girl looked like she is having a blast as she is a bit confuse but is more giggling as she is having a great time as this seems to be a good dream she is having, then while she flew over another building she then stopped flying in the moment as she is confuse as to why, but no sooner than that the girl is now starting to fall from the sky as the girl is screaming for her life as she doesn't understand why she is suddenly falling.

As the girl is now falling still as she is drawing closer to hit the ground of the middle of the streets as the is still screaming as she hoped that this is all a bad dream and as she brace herself from the landing she would feel from suddenly, everything just went dark.

Dream Sequence Nightmare ended...

"AAAAHHH-OOTH!" the girl had just landed hard on the stern ground and while the girl is still gasping from the nightmare she just had she hasn't open her eyes to notice that she is not in her bed anymore much less being in her own room as she somehow ended up in her families basement room as the unfinished boxes that is still laying around is evidence enough.

As the girl did open her eyes to recognized that she is not in her room as she is already scared and confused to how did she ended up here? She felt like she fall down in the basement but there's no way it could be the case as she doesn't have time to pondered her thoughts on the matter as she heard the lights turned on.

The door to the basement she's in is open as two people are coming down the small steps as she is still panting in fright and the two people that came down from the steps it's her parents as they must have heard her scream as they showed clear concern for her as they walked to her.

"Kitty? What happened? How did you get in here? Were you sleepwalking?" the father of the girl who is Kitty asked in concern as he and his wife comfort their daughter by hugging her as Kitty is still in shock and now upset crying.

"No. I.. I fell! I just-" Kitty begin explain the best she could as her parents can tell that she is in distress. "I-I fell through the ceiling."

As the parents was confuse as to how she fell through the ceiling but they mostly the mother, assumed that she just had a nightmare.

In a sense, they are not far off but closer to the truth than they realize.

Back at the Xavier institute Mansion...

In the library as Xavier was pondering on things he then heard an beeping alert coming from Cerebro and he knows what that means.

As he enter the secret room that has Cerebro he pressed the button and see what it pulls up.

"ALERT! ALERT! DISCOVERY: MUTANT SIGNATURE." Cerebro stated as Charles knew it would be the case as the screen turns into a map as a red dot pots to the north America on the map but on the New York city and the town his students lives in. which made him think who else could it be aside from, Kurt, Grant, and Todd.

"THERE ARE TWO DETECTION IN THE VICINTY." Cerebro stated as this made Charles puzzled at this as he patiently waits for information to process and extrapolation to be complete.

"EXTRAPOLATION COMPLETE. THE FIRST IDENTITY CONFIRMED." Cerebro stated as it pulls a different image as it shows Kitty as Charles looks at her with curiosity as he can now feel what goes on with this girl cause he is already linked in with Cerebro.

"NAME: KITTY PRYDE. RESIDENCE: NORTHBROOK. AGE: 15." Cerebro stated but Charles had decided that he already got enough information about this girl as he removed the Cerebro helmet Charles was able to sense that this girl is quite like Kurt and Grant but mostly Kurt when those two discover about their powers, confused, scared and doesn't know what's happing to her as this Kitty needs help that understands what's going on with her.

But now he needed to be linked in with Cerebro to find out about another new mutant in town as he puts the helmet on, Cerebro pulls up another image and this one, Charles finds odd about.

Back at the Pryde house...

As the Kitty's parents still comfort her as she is still sobbing in her mother embrace.

"Now, dear, I'm am sure you were just having a nightmare. Shushhh!" Kitty's mother tells her in a comfort caring tone but when the father looked up, his eyes were widened in complete surprise as he slowly stood up.

"I... don't think she had a nightmare." Kitty's father said as the mother and Kitty looked up and saw what took them especially Kitty, a complete shock.

As they were gasp in shock at what they saw was Kitty's bed covers hanging in the ceiling stuck there like glue.

They couldn't believe what they are seeing Kitty most of all as she is whimpering from the sight as Kitty truly hoped it was her nightmare that happened, but there's no mistaking it, she did that.

"W... What am I? What's happening to me?!" Kitty asked in fright of what she saw and how it happened as her parents don't have the answer to that as they prayed that there's an explanation to this.

But little did they know, there are people would be the ones that would help them, but this night shows that Kitty Pryde's life will never be the same.

Back at the Xavier Institute Mansion...

As morning shines through the curtains in Grant's room, he still snoring in his sleep then as things just happened, an alarm clock went off ringing on top of his cardboard as Grant's eyes were slightly opened as he tried to reach the alarm clock to silence it then with no control the hand clenched his fist turned it into a Obsidian matter fist and slammed the clock crushing it along with the sound it makes.

As Grant is now wide awake to the noise as he took a look at the clock and then his still rocky fist, Grant groans in annoyance at this as he then concentrate to turn his powers off as the rocked fist is reversed back to a normal hand now.

"Uhh, I just had to do that didn't I? Oh boy, hope that didn't wake everyone in the mansion." Grant said to himself still tired as he pushed out his covers and moves up from his bed then suddenly, he heard a knock on his door and as it opens it reveals Scott still in pajamas.

"Hey man. You alright? What was that noise?" Scott asked his tired friend as Grant sheepishly scratched the back of his head as he turned to what used to be his alarm clock.

"Hehe, yeah, it would seem that this is just one of this mood swings that I just got going on, you know what I mean?" Grant tells him in a somewhat unsure on how to respond but Scott was able to see the issue.

"I take it that you are still getting the hang of your powers right?" Scott asked him as Grant just shrugged at this.

"Well, kinda. I mean, when I am in a fight I seem to got my powers in the zone, but when this sort of thing happen, well anyway yeah I am still getting the hang of it." Grant explains as it was the truth when some of the incidents happen sometimes in the living room, the kitchen, and then most of it happen in the Danger Room.

"Yeah, I get the feeling of what you go through. But you are gonna have to tell me on the way, we got to get ready for school." Scott reminds him as Grant's eyes wide at this.

"School.. what time is it?" Grant asked feeling dread at this as Scott looked at his watch before he reply.

"It's a quarter after 8:30."

Grant groans loudly at this as Scott knows that they need to get to school on time.

"Ahhh darn it! I am gonna be SOOO late!" Grant says in irritated at this but Scott was confuse by this.

"What are you talking about man? School doesn't start until 9:30." Scott reminds him but it didn't ease his worry.

"It depends on the day it is now." Grant tells him as Scott is puzzled by this.

"Uh? What do you mean?" Scott asked him to be specific.

"What is today?" Grant questions him.

"It's Wednesday." Scott answered.

"Knew it! Every Wednesday my English teacher has got her whole to do this project that each of us had to do before we present it to the class. I hadn't had time to figure out what my next idea project is before what happen to my parents, but luckily because professor had me stay here until I feel like going back to school and Jean and Storm was wanting to help get some school equipment replacement, I was able to figure out what my next project could be." Grant explains to his pal of the summary of his English class as Scott was interested but was waiting on the answer.

"That's good and all man, but why the hurry for something like that when we still have time to get to the school?" Scott asked him.

"Because while it's all good and stuff I have to show up for that class before 9:00." Grant tells him as Scott can now understand of the stress it could have on Grant but was curious on what would happen if he doesn't show up on time but his question can wait.

"I see, well all the more reason we need to hurry then. Do you remember where the stuff that Jean and Storm that bought you would be at?" Scott asked him as Grant nod at this as he got up from his bed.

"Yeah man. Their at the closet right?" Grant guessed as Scott nod in replay.

"Good guess dude, well I will leave you to get things ready, I will do the same thing. Kurt and Jean should be getting ready for school too." Scott tells him and with that said Scott close the door to leave Grant alone in the room as Grant makes his way to the closet and gets started to dressed up and pack up.

Few minutes later...

It took Scott a few moments but he has his clothes on, got his backpack, still got his trademark sunglasses, he's ready to go. But he isn't going anywhere without Grant as he is leaned back on the wall waiting on Grant and then as the wait is over the door is open wide.

Grant is wearing his blue trademark T-shirt and got his pants and shoes on and he is showed that he is carrying his Football heavy bag and the backpack on each of his shoulders as Grant looked on his right seeing Scott waiting on him as he got off the wall to greet him.

"Ready to go bro?" Grant asked as he holding up a fist in front of him.

As Scott smirked at this, as he did the same and he fist-bump with Grant.

"Yeah man, I'm ready, but first we got to get a few things taken care of in the bathroom before we leave." Scott tells him as Grant agrees with him.

"Of course, just where is it exactly at? I kinda forgot where it is." Grant asked as Scott has no problems about as he and Grant walked towards the hallway.

"It's down the the hall and at the end we take a right and we should be there. Just hope Jean isn't using it." Scott says it with hopeful wishing as Grant was bit puzzled but come to a realization shortly of the reason, females always takes their sweet time in bathrooms.

As they reach the end of the hall and took a right they the Bathroom door is still open as the both teens just exhaled in relief as they approach the ajar door Scott stopped Grant from going.

"What's up Scott?" Grant asked.

"The bathroom only has one toilet in there, in other words only one person is allowed to go in." Scott explained as Grant just groans at this.

"Oh come on! Really?! Why have one restroom in the mansion with one toilet if there's not enough for anyone?" Grant asked in exaggerated tone.

"Not true Grant. Remember the tour? There are other bathrooms in the mansion but this is the closest we can get up here and we need to finish up here quickly." Scott reminds him as Grant took this reminder to heart as he was shown about that part but half of the restrooms are up here and the other half is down bellow.

"Ok but... whose going in there first?" Grant asked a good question one that Scott is not sure.

As the two ponder on who is gonna be in the bathroom, Grant's eyes wide as he got an idea.

"Hey, I got an idea." Grant says to his friend as Scott looked to him with what is Grant thought of.

"Well let's hear it man." Scott tells him hearing that his buddy is eager to know, Grant turn to face him, and got this trademark grin on his face.

And before he knew it, Grant just put up his fist in front of Scott as he gets a feeling that he may not like where this is going.

"Let's do Rock paper scissors." Grant tells him as this made Scott stunned at this.

"Um, come again?" Scott asked for clarify for what he is suggesting but the look on Grant speaks it all, he is serious about this.

"You heard me dude. To decide on which one of us is to go into the bathroom, we are gonna decide this on Rock, Paper, Scissors." Grant explains to the deal to Scott and while he took a time to think on this, it is a good idea to decide who would go first he knows there's no time to debate on this.

So that in mind and for time sake Scott made up his mind and turn to face Grant with confident smirk of his own.

"Your on."

As the challenge is accepted, Scott put his own fist out in front of Grant's fist.

"Ready?" Scott asked as Grant nod.

"Ready." Grant reply.

"Rock, Paper, Scissors, SHOOT!"

As each hold out different shape hand make, the result who won is...

"Oh man! I got rock and you got paper!" Grant complained as Scott pat on his shoulder for encouragement.

"Sorry dude, as you know, paper covers rock. Guess that means I take the bathroom first." Scott said as this made Grant groans at this as Scott procced to enter the bathroom by closing the door that made Grant to have to wait.

A couple minutes later...

It took a while for Scott to finish up what he needs to do to clean up, but it was a quick one and no sooner that he did got cleaned up Scott open the door to let himself out and let in Grant in who almost immediately got in there and close the door behind him leaving Scott to wait on him too as he noticed that he left his Football gear bag next to the door.

Now with Grant, that is a different story. As Grant is kinda like Scott being a cool guy, Scott didn't waste time to fix up his hair or other stuff that Grant is doing, so Scott is now having to wait on him for more then 5 minutes for him to get finished up and as Scott was about to knock the door, it opened up revealing Grant cleaned up face and stylish brown hair like Scott's, as it shows his teeth has been brushed cleaned like what Scott did.

"It took you long enough man. Just what is it that you need to waste 5 minutes on? It shouldn't take you that long to cleaned up." Scott asked him as Grant just shrug at this as he got his trademark grin.

"Hey, I got to look good when it is to show off the nice girls my charms. It takes time to do this stuff, it just can't be rushed." Grant tells him in a cool tone as Scott sighed from this as he should have guessed from this.

"Well, I hope you finish your 'routine' we got to get down stairs now." Scott said to him as Grant nod as he walked past him to get his gear bag as he and Scott walked out of the corridors about to take a step down bellow using the stairs.

"Hmm, cologne uh? You really are serious about this?" Scott asked after he sniffed something weird about him as Grant tried to look innocent about it.

"Of course dude. Besides it's not like I am the only one with a habit like this." Grant says to him.

"Except I only do this when I am getting ready for a special evening or the afternoon. It's called getting ready for a date Grant." Scott tells him in a serious tone.

"Yes, speaking of dates, have you asked a certain redhead in the mansion?" Grant says it with a tease as this took him by surprise as this heated up his face.

"Wha.. N-no I haven't. And besides she is just my friend." Scott tried to tell him but Grant just laughed hard at this as this made Scott sulk mentally.

As the conversation went on, it stopped when they got off the stairs and went in the kitchen.

As they arrived at the Kitchen, they see only Storm got the lunches packed up as she saw them she gave a gentle smile.

"Scott, Grant. Glad you two have showed up. You just missed Jean." Storm tells the boys as they sit down at some of the chairs.

"Really? So where's she at and Kurt?" Grant asked about his other friends as Storm was getting the lunch box ready for them.

"Well Jean is not gonna show up later at school and didn't Scott tell you about Kurt?" Storm reply back as this made Grant turned to Scott.

"Tell me what? Is something happened to him?" Grant asked him as Scott shook his head at this.

"No man nothing happened. Well nothing bad I should say, but before you went to get your stuff ready, I went back to the room where Professor assigned the room to Kurt and when I got there he was still asleep past the point of getting up early." Scott explains to Grant as this made him puzzled about this.

"You mean you didn't try to wake him up dude?" Grant asked him as Scott nod this statement.

"I did try man. It's not easy to wake him and after doing some thinking, I thought that he should wake himself up since I already did what I could but don't worry about him Grant, he should be up and about before we leave for school." Scott reassured him as this had Grant took comfort in that and Scott is right about that since he remembered how his parents did the same thing before moving to this town.

"But wait, why is Red not gonna be at school until later?" Grant asked Storm as she had given both him and Scott their prepare lunches.

"The Professor needs her to bring in a new young mutant today." Storm reply as this surprise both Grant and Scott about this.

"There's another mutant in town? And by new, you mean..." Grant trailed off in a realization at what she means as she nod in confirmation.

"Yes Grant, there seems to be another new mutant that has recently discover her powers." Storm answered as this made Scott pondered at this while Grant got this look on his face.

"Wait wait wait. 'Her' as in a girl?! Whoa! This is unreal! Is she hot?!" Grant asked in a immature way as Scott shoulder tap him to get him back on track.

"Grant, priorities please." Scott scolded him as he nervous wave his hands innocently.

"Right, right. Sorry. It's just, what are the chances that," Grant was about to rant on until he met the stares of both Scott and Storm as they need him to focus. "Okay, ok! I will just be quite now."

Seeing that Grant got his mind set Scott turned to Storm with a serious face.

"So this girl, how much do we know about her?" Scott asked her as Storm folded her arms.

"About as far as it goes she is just a teenager as I said already she just come to her powers last night. The Professor said that she is scared and is unaware what is happening to her so the Professor will make an attempt to make first contact with her parents, the Pryde family, since she goes to the same school as do you two and the Professor is bringing Jean with him so that Jean could be the one that can brings the young girl to the fold." Storm explains to him and Grant as this got his attention at least as he is wondering about something.

"Hold on, why would she be scared about her powers?" Grant asked her in curious.

"Because she doesn't understand why this is happening to her Grant. She may have felt like it's a curse to what is happening to her. She doesn't understand that her powers could be her gift. Remember of your first time coming to your powers? It was unexpected to as it is to all of when we each first discovered our own powers like she is going through now, she needs guidance to how to come to terms of her powers." Storm explains at how fragile she may be feeling at her powers as Grant at least understood that part as he can see how she may react differently about her powers.

"What is her name exactly?" Scott asked as Storm took a moment like she was trying to remember what the professor told her and for a split second, she did remember.

"Her name is Kitty Pryde." Storm reply as this raise an interest with the boys.

"Hmm, yep. A pretty girl and a cute name like that then her powers is got to be a feline powers!" Grant says in a over confidence boast as this made Scott groans at this while Storm was just gave a friendly smirk like she was amuse by this as the ideas that Grant has never seems to fail to made her smile at this.

"Dude, just because that her name just happens to be Kitty, doesn't mean that she will be a cat-like person." Scott tells him but this made Grant huffed from this like he behave like a child.

"You are just jealous that I can came up with how the names of powers can be match." Grant says to him in a bad tone manner as this made Scott scoffed at this.

"I'm jealous? I was the one that helped you came up with a better superhero name for you!" Scott argued with as this made Storm put her hands out to stop this conversation.

"That's enough boys. No fighting each other ok?" Storm firmly tells them as the two shut it as they took a moment calm of their emotions.

"Now, when the professor told me about the young girl he also had me ready the Blackbird for him and Jean to find the house of the Pryde family to convince them that their daughter would come over to stay here to learn and control her unique gift." Storm continues to explain to them on the important activity that will be going on while they will be at school.

"So what do you want us to be doing until then?" Scott asked her as Grant is wondering about that too.

"You two, including Kurt, will do nothing but pay attention in class and try to enjoy the day. We will contact you if you are needed, through the new phone that I gave to you Grant." Storm tells them as this made Grant pulled out his own personal phone as he showing it off.

"So you got your own phone there, man?" Scott asked his friend as he just does this trademark smirk.

"Yep. It's one of the new stuff that Storm and Jean got me while I have been working out some things. What about you?" Grant tells him as Scott could tell that it must have been the first time has been given an actual phone.

"I do have one, but unfortunately the batteries that runs it have been circuit off when Jean and I was trying to save Kurt and Toad that night." Scott tells him as Grant understood this.

When Storm looked over her shoulder to see the clock she gasp at this.

"Okay you two, you better get going if you want to get on time." Storm warns them as they just saw the clock too.

"Oh shoot! I am gonna be sooo late for that class! Come on man!" Grant reminds him as Scott nod at this as they quickly stood up from their sits.

"Right! Let's get moving!" Scott says as he and Grant are about to make a break to the front glass door Storm rushed behind them as she need to tell them something else.

"Scott! Grant!"

The two halted as they turned to listened what else she wants to tell them.

"If either one of you ran into the girl at school, just make sure that she isn't alone with what she is going through and see if you can help her to understand that her powers are a gift, okay?" Storm tells them as they each give a frim nod at this as she wave them to go now as the two bolted the door open as Storm went back to the kitchen to get Kurt's lunch ready for him.

As the two teens are hustling down the steps Grant then immediately ran for the garage but was pulled to a halt by Scott as he turned Grant to face him as he is confused by this action.

"What are you doing Scott?! Your car is in the garage!" Grant tells him.

"Yes, but the short cut to the school is the other way." Scott tells him as this made him confuse at what he mean by that.

"Come on. I will show you the quickest path that will get us to the school on time!" Scott says to him as he run to the direction with Grant following him as they went past the gates and took a different way then how Grant took on the night of his parents deaths.

Couple minutes later...

As the school bus leaves the area after dropping off the students, everyone has enter the front of the school doors and the bell hasn't ringed yet, but not everyone is here yet as the new student has shown running like his life is at stake.

Kurt couldn't believe that he already overslept but luckily he only needs to get a few things he needed which his notebook and his backpack as he is holding on to it with one hand and the other hand he is still eating his sandwich as he is coming up to the right side of the school as he double check his watch.

"AAH! I'm gonna be late again." Kurt said to himself in being stressed at this as he gobbled the whole sandwich as the bell had just rang starting the school day.

As Kurt heard it he groans at this as he found himself in some the vacant area as he looked around to check if anyone is looking and after a few moments, Kurt made a decision and use his powers to teleport out of the area leaving blue smoke in it's wake.

He reappear next to the cornier near the front of the front door as he dust himself and made a look around to see if he is where he is suppose to appear at, which he did. As Kurt doing a tipping toe slowly to stay alert for anyone in particular a certain principle that be...

"Ahh!" Kurt almost bump into someone and he recognized her, principle Stockholm as she is not happy with him.

"Ms. Stockholm!" Kurt said with his mouth still chewing his food as Ms. Stockholm made no comment as she looked at something in particular she reached to grab his hand which has his watch on namely his holo disguise watch as she is looking at the time on it.

"Hmm, watch isn't slow. Must be you." Ms. Stockholm sternly stated as Kurt is nervous sweat at this as she let go of his hand as he can felt that she had griped his wrest rough.

"Another tardy Mr. Wagner, and I'm enrolling you in my after-school Group. Do I make myself clear?" Ms. Stockholm firmly warned and asked him as Kurt gulped down his food as he nod to her.

Luckily for him, the door opened wide revealing Scott with a serious look on his face when he found Kurt with Ms. Stockholm.

"Hey, light a fire under it, kid. Your teacher sent me to look for you." Scott tells Kurt discreetly as he didn't want the principle to know that he and Kurt already knew each other before as he walked behind Kurt as he grabbed both his shoulders and before he gently moved him forward he made a quick look to the principle.

"Ms. Stockholm." Scott acknowledge her respectfully as he made a move as he started move Kurt forward to door as he now walked in front of Kurt to open the door.

"Stopped off for another breakfast burger gut bomb, didn't you?" Scott asked in a sure thinking of what took him so long aside from overslept.

"What can I say? It's an addiction." Kurt said to him as they made their way inside, they didn't notice that the principle silently glares at them as she secretly plans for evil things that involves not just them, but for Grant Alexander.

As the two enter the hallway walking down a straight line and seeing that there's no one in site to hear them Kurt felt it's best to keep the conversation short.

"So zhere's Grant?" Kurt asked his new friend.

"He went to class almost immediately. We will see him around in school after class." Scott answered him as this surprise that Grant is late too.

"He was late to class too?" Kurt asked but Scott shook his head in disagreement.

"No, he and I got here early." Scott answered as he can see that this surprise him as he shared that expression this morning.

"What?! Then why couldn't he be out there like you were?" Kurt asked as this cause concern as Scott felt that he need to erased the doubt that took place across Kurt's expression.

"He would if he could, but his English class has this project that happens every Wednesday so he needed to be in class before 9:00. So when we got here before you did, it was 8:55 and you really should have seen him hustled to the school and class like that. It was actually funny to see." Scott explains to him as the grin slowly showed on his face as Kurt looks like he has been at eased and when he heard the last part he couldn't help but start to laugh a bit at this.

"Alright, now we can chat in the hallway about how silly that Grant looked when he run, or we can not be late ourselves." Scott remind him as Kurt nod in agreement as they continued to walked in the hall passing the lockers.

Meanwhile at the Pryde family house...

Ever since she and her parents discovered what happened during the night, her parents couldn't know what to make of what happened but they came upon the conclusion, it has something to do with what their daughter did how she did it is something that they will investigate to find out why.

But because that they noticed that what their daughter did disturbed her and frightened her, they talked with her about not going to school today until they figured out how this happened to her and while Kitty didn't say anything about it, they can tell that they thought she understood and wasn't going to send her to school with what is happening to her, but it isn't what she agreed or want.

Sure she is frightened, that she wanted to know what is happening to her, but she doesn't want to be coup up in a house because of what happened last night so during the day she already got her clothes on and her stuff packed and she planned on sneaking out without her parents notice.

She got out of her room as she silently closed it, and she made her way down stairs trying not to make noise that would alert her parents, and as she got off the last staircase she looked around to see if her parents are around and their not.

And with that in mind, she tip toe quietly to the front close door making sure she is not spotted, and just as she thought she was gonna successful sneak out the house as she placed her hand on the door knob, she heard a familiar voice behind her that made her stop in her tracks as she barely opened the door wide.

"Dear? I thought we agreed you were staying home today." Her mother said in confused tone as Kitty silently groan at this as she turned to face her mother with a fake smile.

"Yeah, well, like what's the point, you know?" Kitty asked as this confused her mother.

"What do you mean what's the point?" Her mother asked what troubles her as Kitty is not putting a fake smile as it shows that she is discomfort about this.

"What I mean is, you guys just don't want to talk about it or pretend like this didn't happen last night, and I'll like, totally go crazy just sitting around here." Kitty tells her mother as she can see how the expression and stress frustration matches her words carry.

"But sweetheart, should you really be at school?" Her mother asked Kitty to be certain that if she really want to be at school as she isn't blind to what is bothering her as she and her husband is gonna want to talk about what should be done about what is happening to their daughter but before Kitty could answer, a familiar voice calls out in the other room.

"KITTY? Honey, where are you?" Kitty's father called out in worry as the mother and Kitty looked at the direction which the voice comes from and seeing that Kitty doesn't want to be caught by her dad, she turned to her mother.

"Please mom. Dad'll make me stay." Kitty pleaded with her mother as she took a moment to think about it as she turned her attention away as she can see that Kitty wanted to go and after giving some thought, her mother made a decision as she look at her daughter again.

"Alright. Go on." her mother said to Kitty.

Kitty smiled as she is grateful for her mother as she blow a kiss to her goodbye as she makes a hustle out the house and head straight to the school.

Kitty's mother knew better than to say no as she would go to the school regardless but she couldn't help but feel worried about the new problems that her daughter is going to have to deal with other than school she hopes... Well she can't really worried about that right now as she still stares at the direction that Kitty disappear from.

With Professor X and Jean Grey in the BlackBird flying in the skies...

Since he called Storm to prep the Blackbird to takeoff for him and Jean to take a trip in, he also let Storm know that Jean is needed to come him and only her because of her skills and that she could easily get in touch with this Kitty so right now since Jean got in the Blackbird with him they had the jet already out of the secret cave which connects to the Mansion and because the cave is also has a hanger in it so the Blackbird is in the sky above altitude so they wouldn't be detected by the military as both Jean and the Professor are in the pilot seats.

"Why just me? Why not all of us?" Jean asked the Professor as she still doesn't understand why she is needed for this.

"Because you are the only one that can connect with this girl. And Grant needs to be in school to have his mind calm and not drifted to his nightmares." Professor tells her as Jean knows about this a little too well about what goes on with Grant and that he does need to go to school and hope that this ease him down from the train and nightmares he has.

It is only the other reason that she doesn't understand how she could be any help to this girl as she sighed from the thought she had.

"I hope so." Jean says to the professor but then she realize something that the professor also mentioned he told her about this morning.

"But then how are we handling the other kid cerebro spied out? The one in the foster home?" Jean asked about the other new mutant kid that the Professor mention as he turned his attention to her on the topic.

"Yes. Lance Alvis. Let me worry about that. I'd like you to just keep your focus on Kitty's parents." The professor says to her as she nod at what he suggest as she may not sure of what help she can give to the girl but Jean will give her best to help however she can.

"Remember, you're a model of what we're offering them. No pressure." the professor remined her as this made her do a nervous laugh at this as this is made it a bit hard to do but she will help out as she may not like what she is presenting as a model as she doesn't think to herself as such.

"Heheheh. And to think, I passed up a nice, relaxing midterm for this." Jean said to herself sarcastically as he heard from this Xavier has no worries about this as he kept steering the jet he also notice that there's something else goes on with her other than this.

"There's something else that is troubling you isn't?" the Professor asked her as Jean sigh as she knew that he would tell about what she is worried about or more specifically who.

"Yes Professor, there's something else that bothers me." Jean answered honestly as Xavier can guess on who she is worried about.

"It's about Grant isn't?" The Professor asked as this made her nod as he slowed down the jet a bit for him to give her his full attention as he looked at her as he wanted to have this discussion too.

"I'm worried about him. His nightmares is getting worse." Jean tells him as this doesn't fazed him as he kept the neutral expression.

"It will be okay Jean. Grant will be fine." Xavier said with no worry as this made her turned to face him with a disbelief on her face.

"Fine? With all due respect, did you not felt his pain? Did you not feel the tremendous sadness in his dreams as he feeling suffered? The trauma in his dreams that he is feeling is anything but 'fine'." Jean express good reason of her concern to the Professor as he nod and didn't change his expression.

"Jean, I felt it all the things Grant feels in his dreams and his mind." The Professor tells her as she still got this expression that he hadn't seen since he first found her.

"Then Professor why aren't you doing anything to help him?" Jean questions him.

"I am helping him. I instruct Logan to help him through the process of self discipline and control to help his psychological wounds in his mind." Xavier explains to her but Jean doesn't look convince about it.

"Professor, I been down at the medbay room after Grant got his 'Discipline and Control' he barely got up from the beating from that Robot. You don't usually do something like this Professor, why does Logan need to keep doing this to Grant?" Jean asked him to be frank with her and he will as he sighed from this before he got this stern look.

"I asked Logan to keep having Grant to go through this because it's the only way to get Grant to help past the wounds that I found buried in his subconscious mind. My efforts alone won't help but make the matters worse on Grant." Xavier explains to her but is not done yet.

"Do you remember when you and Scott first met Grant and he helped out Todd from Duncan and his powers emerged during the fight you explained to me last week?" the professor asked her as Jean did recall the night his powers did powered up during the fight.

"His traumatic nightmares and his powers is somewhat related to Grant's psych in other words for Grant to be able to heal and for him to not have nightmares like you and I been feeling from him, he will have to go through the intense training like the one he had with the boxing robot that is on a difficult level for him to not only have him to think with his mind, but he will gain comfort in the fight and it will slowly help him to heal and because he needed this." Xavier explains to Jean as she is letting all of the words to sink in as she understands this but she wish that Grant doesn't have to get himself hurt on the training program.

"But Professor-" Jean was about to say something but Xavier placed his hand on her shoulder to comfort her worries.

"Not to worry Jean. If things goes out of control, I will put a stop to it immediately and I will find another way, do you understand?" Xavier ease her doubts as she smiled at this then she nod as this conversation is done, he turned to the controls and reassumed course to the Pryde home.

"It's just that, I still can't believe that he lost his parents the way he did." Jean says to him as he slowly nod his head at this as he wished it didn't happen, but it did.

"I know Jean, I know." Xavier said softly at this as he is left to his thoughts as they are almost to their destination.

He will never do anything that would put his life in real danger, and he wished that there is a better way, but this is the way it must happen, at least until he finds another solution if the program has done harm than good.

At the Pryde house a couple minutes later...

As the Blackbird is cloak as they landed in a small plain area, Jean and the Professor X made their way to the Pryde house as they are in front of the door Jean press the little white button that rings the doorbell and not after a moments later they were greeted by the parents that open the door and their confusion is understandable as these two don't know who Jean and Professor X is so as Xavier is the first to explain who they are and they know who their daughter is their expected expression is...

"What are you talking about? How do you know Kitty?" The mother asked as she is confuse as to the father is suspicious of the two as he doesn't already trust them seeing that they already begin to being confuse and suspicious Jean wanted to reassure them that they could have this conversation inside.

"Please. May we come in for a moment? We'll answer all your questions and anything you need-" As Jean is wanting to generously ask if they could talk private but the father shook his head and stared sternly at the two as he moved next to his wife.

"Excuse me miss, you can talk to us, out here." Kitty's father firmly stated as they can tell that he is serious and since that they wanted to talk out here might as well get started at explaining who they are as Professor X will start.

"Very well. I think, you know Kitty is going through a very unique transition. We simply want to help her through it." Professor X explains to them honest as this surprise the parents that he knows what is going on with their daughter they didn't show being surprise yet but both Xavier and Jean can sense that they are surprise.

"Why don't you tell us about last night?"

Now that, did surprise them as they are showing worry and confusion as they looked each other as to who are these people and how could they have know about what happened as the father is now showing great distrust to the two in front of him and his wife.

"Listen! I don't know who do you think you are, but what happened last night is none of your business!" Kitty's Father said angrily pointed his finger at the Professor as he withdrew his finger.

"Now please, just leave me, my daughter, and my wife alone!" the protective father said warning them as he and his wife went back in their house not before the father shut the door leaving Jean and the Professor alone.

"Heh, next time, let's just give them a call and get hung up on. Less hassle." Jean suggested as she figure that this wouldn't win good favors with the parents as she folded her arms as the professor turned his wheelchair the other direction as he still has the neutral expression as he knew that this would happen fortunately he he had already came up with a plan B in case this wouldn't work as he turned his attention to Jean.

"You'll need to make contact with kitty directly, at her school." The professor X said to her as Jean her head in agreement as they left the Pryde property as they make their way to the Blackbird hopefully, Jean or any of the young X-men can make a connection with her but if anyone can make a good connection is Jean Gray.

Back at the X-mansion...

It was a pain in the ass to deal with the kid and his problems but he can see why Charles asked him to help through the ordeal of his traumatic nightmares and to deal with the loss of his parents Logan is outside cleaning the windshield of his motorcycle as he is pondering of his thoughts about how to come up with a next lesson for him to get the kid on his feet.

It was impressive that he can hold his own against the Boxing Robot at it's max brutal level, but it also left Logan to see of the gaps and flaws of Grant's fighting style as he behave like he was a brawler street fighter as Logan knows a thing or to about them but it seems that Grant is a left handed fighter which means Logan is gonna get something going about that part and he also notice that Grant can ditch out the pain of his body which is good but he notice that he wasn't putting any defenses in his style with he would definitely be thinking on how to work with that as he will make note that he will have to show to the kid that sometimes taking all the pain and turned into power is not always the best way to win a fight, he learn that the hard way a long time ago and the only reason he is still standing and alive it's because his healing factor and without that, he would died in a miserable death he deserve.

Logan sighed heavily at his thoughts as he just finished cleaning and is now fixing anything that may have slip up before he got here which was a long drive which he is used to.

The thoughts that is bothering him now other than how to toughen up this kid and help him to heal as Charles put it, is what happen to his parents.

Sure, the news say they died in a accident fire, but that's their point of view. from what things that Charles told him in private a few days ago about this Peter Alexander which isn't much, but told enough that this guy is anything but stupid enough to cause a accident like that, Logan isn't ready to make assumptions but he couldn't help but think that maybe-

Logan can hear that running motorcycle like he knew who would ride such a bike as he continue to stare at the distance as he needed to get a higher ground to smell fully of this scent he is smelling about because if it's who he thinks this scent belongs to, then this will be a LONG day.

As the man kept riding fast on what look like a horse powered bike as it's big as the man riding it as he makes a straight forward on what he seems to be looking for something or someone.

Back at the X-Mansion...

As Logan somehow got on top of the mansion as he had his eyes closed and listened carefully and taking a couple of sniffs of the scent, he now understands the scent and it is indeed known to him who this scent belongs to, as he opened his eyes is fueled with a fierce anger as this scent could only belong to one person, a mutant, but has some similar abilities as him, and this mutant is his rival, his name is...

"Sabertooth." Logan growls underneath his breath as he stared at the same distance he was staring at and knowing that his enemy won't stop looking for him and that he must have followed him back home, so the only way he can do is to meet him in the city while he is still tracking his scent.

outside of the gates Sabertooth wearing the bike helmet just ride past the X-mansion as he rides back into the city looking for his nemesis as he is riding still, underneath his helmet he got the same scent he been tracking here as he is taking a sniff he growls like a lion.

"Wolverine." Sabertooth growls at the scent he smelled as he still couldn't pick it up as he figure that he covered his tracks well and now he is gun hulling to the city where he will wait for him as he knows what would happen if he doesn't shop up in the city as he rides straight to the city.

Near the gates of the X-mansion...

"Easy shortcut my butt! Some of those potholes nearly trapped me dude!" Grant complained as he, Kurt, and Scott are walking home from the early time out class schedules and they were just come out of the walkway from the two tallest trees.

"Hey, I didn't say it was an easy shortcut, you know? And besides, we would have taken the usual route with no potholes if you didn't have the project stuff going on in your English class." Scott countered as this made a short laugh mark on Grant as it doesn't sound much funny to the two.

"Buddy, your lucky that you didn't share my English class or else you would have been saying a different tone set." Grant warned him as this made Scott to waved innocently at him defensively.

"Okay, Okay, you got me there." Scott agrees with his friend as he knew the reputation of the English teacher as her kindest is out of this world, her coldness towards students that doesn't complete their assignments is match to the principle.

"So what kind of project did your teacher had you and the class made today?" Kurt aske him as he kinda understood the importance of why.

"Well, the teach had us pair in two groups to combined ideas of the structure of mixed ideas would be. Me and my partners project is kinda a mix volcano with park in it." Grant explained to his friends of his todays project as two were awed that he was able to make such a thing.

"Wow, man. That's awesome! Must have taken the entire class period to make it." Scott says with respect as Grant nodded at this as he was right about that.

As the three almost approach the gates Kurt rushed to the gate and turned to face his friends.

"So guys, what do you want to do for fun today? Can we do something fun that I haven't seen yet?" Kurt gleaned at his questions to them as the two shook their heads at this.

"Sorry, but not today." The two guys said it together as this made Kurt confused at this.

"But why not guys?" Kurt asked them.

"Well we still got to finsh the todays homework and I need to take Grant somewhere." Scott tells his reason to Kurt.

"Which is at the hospital buddy, but even after that I'm going to be at the soccer tryouts later in the afternoon." Grant explains his reason and this is unheard of for Kurt to hear that he will be going to the hospital.

"To the hospital? How come Grant? You ain't sick aren't you?!" Kurt asked in panic worry as this made Grant shook his head at this.

"No, no, no, buddy. Nothing like that at all. It's just, I need to pay my respects to the jerk that is on my Football team." Grant reply honesty as Kurt sighed in relief but was confuse to who he means.

"Jerk? I don't understand Grant." Kurt said to him.

"Before you came to our school here, on the football game night, Grant accidently hurt Duncan Matthews the football captain of the team while Grant and I were in a private fight to help out Todd." Scott explains to him as Kurt's eyes widened at this as Grant remember well that night.

"Really? So how hurt is he?" Kurt asked as the two shrugged at this.

"We don't know. But I did heard a crack when my obsidian fist connected his chest but, we really can't know for certain until we check it out." Grant explains what he remember about what happen when he connected his fist and it wasn't a good site.

Seeing that this is an important matter Kurt decides to not continue it as the two walked up to him and Grant placed his hand on Kurt's shoulder.

"Don't worry about any of it. Because once I do get back, I will introduce you to one of my favorite games." Grant reassured him, as this cheered him up as he remove his hand, Grant, Kurt, and Scott open the gate and made their way to the mansion.

In the Garage...

Now, he knows that his enemy is here but doens't know where he is at that will wait for him in the city, he will need to ride out and deal with him once and for all. But first he will need to put his own X-men outfit as he got both his gaunlet gloves on, he cliped both his boots on, he got hislowler outfit pants on, to go with it he cliped around his waist with a X-men belt on, got his X-men outter armor shirt that is not only sleaveles with added shoulder bads on, and for the finishing touch he put on his Wolvrine mask on.

As he is ready to go out to defeat his enemy, Wolverine has put his Motorcycle helmet on as he got on the bike and starting to revving it up s its engines is rumbling and it's ready to go, it's tires making loud screech noise as he now rides out of the garage, as he rides picking more speed at the start as he enter the courtyard and made past Grant, Kurt, and Scott as they just moved out of the way as they saw him now ride out through the gates as they just stared in confuse by this.

"Whoa, who is that just ride past us?" Grant asked as he is more interested as to where he seen that person before.

"That was Logan, Grant." Scott answered his question as his eyes widened at this.

"That's Logan?!" Grant says with surprise as he just stared with awed.

"What's wrong?" Scott asked as to why he was surprise by on how Logan looked in that outfit.

"It's just, I think I seen him in that outfit somewhere..." Grant says as he ain't gonna get the answer right away.

"Nevermind about that, what's up him to just take off like that?" Kurt asked as he is more wondered about that.

"That's a good point. Scott have you seen him take off like a man on a mission before?" Grant asked in a curious tone.

"Not very often. But that man is packing some serious attitude." Scott answered as he was impressed by this as this got Grant thinking on that with pride.

"You telling me! That's some ride that Logan has! He is holding back on us from not having something like this!" Grant says with a interested tone the two can tell that Grant really likes that ride.

"But what should we do? Should we follow him to see where he is going?" Kurt asked as this made Grant not only got him focus but got this grin on his face as Scott shared the same grin.

"Of course we are going to follow him! Let's go!" Grant says with confidence as Scott his head in a agreement.

"Then what are we waiting for?! Let's go!" Scott says as he, and his friends rushed to the garage as Scott clicked the button to open the door it's slowly open up and revealed the same car that Scott is using.

"So this is where you keep your car at, huh?" Grant asked as he still grinng.

"Yep. But don't think you are driving this baby. My ride, so I'm driving." Scott tells him as this made Grant groans at this as Kurt just walked next to it as he was admiring the work.

"Oh man. This is still a sweet ride Scott!" Kurt says with appreciation.

"Hey, hey. Don't touch the paint job okay? I just got this painted from last week." Scott tells him as he noticed that Kurt was about to touch it.

"Ooh. Sorry. My bad." Kurt apologized to him.

"WHOA!" this caught the attention of both Kurt and Scott that they see Grant is staring the van, known as the X-Van.

"You guys had this in the garage?! What is it called?!" Grant asked almost demanding as this made Scott sweetdrop at his friend admiration of the X-van.

"That is called the X-Van Grant. Didn't Logan or Storm showed you two about this in the tour?" Scott asked the two as Kurt nod at this.

"Logan did showed this, but Grant was tunning out because..." Kurt tells him as this made Scott realize at the reason as he just groaned at this because he didn't think at part of what could bother Grant, he was still reeling from losing his parents.

"So why can't we take this awesome X-Van?!" Grant asked as he was still not pay attention which is okay as Scott shook his head.

"We can't, well we CAN, but we need to keep this on a lower profile. Which is why we need to take my car for this." Scott tells him as this made Grant sighed in defeat as he knew he was right.

"Oh well. Next time then." Grant says as he walked to the car next to Kurt.

"Alright, let's get rolling!" Scott says as he rushed to the car and hop in the drivers seat and had his keys turning the car on and it's purring with it's engines as he noticed that Grant got in the second front seat as he is checking through his backpack.

"What's up man?" Scott asked as Grant is looking through to see if it's in there and when he saw something, he smiled to himself as he found it.

"Checking to see if Storm had got me a certain something that we MAY be using today. So, it's all good." Grant answered him as Scott has a feeling he knows what he was talking about and smiled at this then he noticed that Kurt is not in yet.

"You coming with us?" Scott asked as Kurt responded by teleport from there to the back of the seat as he got his seatbelt on as he grinned at the two in front.

"Okay guys, hit in!" Kurt says to the two as Grant smiled too as he and Kurt fist bump each other and then to Scott as he rides out o the garage as he and his friends are now past through the gates and tried to follow Logan to the city to figure out what has gotten him in such a mood.

Back in High School...

The school bell rungs signaling the end of a period and having students to go in the next classes before another bell rungs which won't be for very long, as Kitty is still walking through the herd of students as she is trying to get to her locker to put her stuff in because the next class she is taken next is the jumping lunges outside with the gym class students.

She got to her class late and when she explains why she came late, the teacher was less believe her story as she only told her to take a seat and since then, it was a normal class but she was less focus on what her class is learning because she is still thinking about what's going on with her, as she still doesn't understand what's happening to her, which made her depress all day.

As the herd is becoming crowed in the hallway, she found where her locker is at because of her lock as she is unlocking her locker so that she can put her stuff in and which she did and while she is putting her stuff in, she was being watched by several young teenage ladies which is two, one is blond and the other is brunette they were watching her without her knowledge them being here and they are no friends of hers.

"Riley, check the kitty pity party Pryde." The blonde lady says to the brunette lady who is confirmed as Riley as she chuckled at the name calling as she noticed that Kitty is having a rough day.

"Heh. Dreading P.E., no doubt." Riley says as the blonde laugh softly at this then the two heard soft footsteps behind them as they looked to see another girl that's around the same age as the two, as the two were wearing a pink short sleeves shirt and the other is wearing a red dress shirt, the girl who is wearing an interesting shirt, it's short sleeve shirt of blue and it has a face of Grant Alexander on it and has some word on the shirt and it says 'I love Grant' as the short haired girl is clearly a an fan girl to Grant.

"Hey girls, what are you checking out?" the raven harried girl asked the two.

"Just thinking on how poor kitty cat is dreading on about going to P.E.. What about you June? Got to see the hotest guy in school?" Riley says as the girl named June just giggled at the comment of the thought of Grant.

"Ooooh. I wish, but me and the other girls were trying to find him all day but we couldn't find him. Oh, he must feel lonely without me!" June says as the two girls were disappointed too as they are also a fan but didn't join a fan club that supports Grant Alexander.

"Oh, that's too bad. Must have early class out today." The blonde says as Riley is back to focus on Kitty who is almost done.

"Okay girls, we need to think on HOW we can HELP out the poor pussycat." Riley said to the girls as the two nodded as they look at Kitty with a not good scheming across their faces.

"The poor girl is the only one that is not pretending about how she really feels in class." June says as the two nod then the blonde got this weird gin on her face.

"Let's, uh, give her some time off, right girls?" The blonde asked with a suggestion as the two shared the same grin at the same thought as the three tip toe quietly to make sure Kitty doesn't hear them, not that she can as she was too busy about thinking on what is she going to do about this-

Kitty felt a strong shoved to her locker as she was lock in by the girls as Kitty is taken complete surprise by this.

"World closing in on ya, Kitty?" Riley mocks her as she lock her locker with Kitty inside as she and the other girls laughed hard at this.

"How does it feel that you just lost one of your nine lifes, miss Pryde?!" June asked a mocking question as this made the girls laughed hard as they make a quick run the other direction leaving Kitty trapped in her own locker.

This made her furious as she recognized those voices as they are the female bullies, especially June as she was a real prankester to her life here, she wasn't a big deal but when she and other girls joined this club that supports this guy name Grant, she thinks that Kitty wanted his attention which she knew what June meant, which made her disgusted about it.

Kitty only saw Grant once, while he is attractive, he is above year on her and she noticed that he is a friendly guy and someone that famous in school wouldn't want to talk to someone like her. Why would he anyway?

But that is besides the point, as Kitty is brought back to reality which is to get out of her own locker as she is furious as she begin to bang the locker door hard.

"Hey! Let me out, you jerks! Aah!" Kitty frantically yelled as she kept banging the door hoping someone would hear her. But so far, there's none that heard her as this is turning out to be a bad day for her to deal with.

"Open this door now! Get me out of here! June, I know you were up to this too, get me out NOW!" Kitty yelled out for the ones that put here but no one heard heard her as she now bang both her fits on the door as she can feel the numbs on her hands.

"Somebody open this door now! Anyone?! Someone?! Get me out of here! AAAAAHHHH!" Kitty let out a loud yell of her frustrations as she stopped banging the door seeing that it's no point trying as she waited inside of her locker uncomfortable as she probably won't be out until the end of the school, or so she thought.

In the boys bathroom across the hallway, a teenage boy took a peak through the crack open door to see if anyone is around, which there isn't anyone around and with that he open the door wide, got this can sprayer in hand and from the looks of him, he got this bad boy vibe written all over him as he got this smirk as he shook the sprayer a little to get it ready and he throw it to his other hand to give it another good shake he walked to the lockers and he begin to whistling sound as he started to spray the red line across and down and up without looking as he continued to walk forward.

As Kitty continued to wait inside of her locker, she open her eyes when she heard someone whistling and realizing that someone is in the hallway as she stood up listening the sound as it definitely someone here in the hallway as the sound is getting closer.

"Huh? Hey! Is someone out there?!" Kitty shouted to whoever is out there but it seems that person still didn't hear her as she is reassumed to bang the door locker to hope to grab attention.

"Can you hear me?! I'm trapped here! Please get me out of here!" Kitty pleaded as she bang the door as the boy is about to pass her locker but then...

"Let me out of HEREEEE!" Kitty is about shout but she somehow started to phase THROUGH the locker door and bumped the kid down across the floor with her down too.

Kitty is slowly got up but still have her knees on the ground and she is confuse again as she is wondering in shock to how she got out of the locker as she look at her hands as this is somewhat similar as to what happen last night, she went through the celling, and now she went through the window.

The boy got on his hands and knees to see what happened as he couldn't believe what happened, this chick went through the locker door, and it only means one thing she has powers, and not to mentioned this person that did it happens to be a girl.

'Not to mention cute and good looking too.' the boy thought to himself as he got this red sprayer line across his face when she and him tumbled on across the ground, as he got some ideas on what he and she could do but first, he needs to earn her trust as it begins now.

"Hey, you see what you just did there?" the boy says to her as this made Kitty startled as he had just saw what she didn't mean to happen as she is thinking on how to lie about this.

"What? I- I, like, just fell out. That's all." Kitty said a lie as she and the boy stood up from the ground but this excite the boy as he knows what she really did.

"Yeah, man, right through the door." the boy says as her lie didn't work and what's worse is that him saying it, terrifies her as he looked back at her locker then back to her with that wide grin.

"That is so cool!" the boy says with excitement as this made her step back from him as she is thinking that he is nuts to think that what she just did was cool.

"You're, you're crazy!" Kitty said with a scared tone as she was about to run but her hand was caught by him to stop her from leaving.

"No, no. Wait a minute." the boy tells her as she is looking at him with filled with plead to want him to let her go but was curious to what he wants to say.

"It's nothing to be ashamed of. I'm the one guy around here that gets the beauty of it all, cause you're just like me!" the boy explains to her as this made her confuse to what he means by THAT.

"Just like you?" Kitty asked in curious tone as he nod at this.

"Yea! Really!" the boy confirms but this made her disbelief this as he looked around to check if anyone is watching which there isn't as he turned his attention to her as he let go of her wriest as he took a step back to give space for whatever he is about to do.

"Alright then. Check this out." the boy said to her as he close his eyes, spread his arms out, tighten his fists, as she is getting nervous as to what he is about to do.

He then started to shake his entire body as he now open his hands as he growls as his eyes were wide open as his eyes were rolled the back of his head, and when he started to shake, Kitty can feel the hallway, the lockers, maybe the whole school shook trembling like an earthquake, as proof some of the lockers were forced open as Kitty could only stare in shock belief that he is doing all this, as some of the stuff were fall out of some of the forced open lockers.

He continued to do this what feels like a minute before the school slowly stopped shaking as the boy too is started to have his body to stop shaking too as the school, and him just stop shaking as the boy had his hands on his knee caps as he was breathing heavily as Kitty could only still stare in complete shock at this.

"Getting the picture yet?" the boy asked in a cool way to put it but Kitty can only shook her head at this as she still having a real hard time to believe someone could have that kind of power.

"No! You're just, like, some freak!" Kitty says in fear of him as he grabbed her hand again only this time, she pulled away from him as she took a step away from him.

"Just leave me alone!" Kitty yelled as she high tailed out of the area as he watched her run away as he walked forward to her direction that leads a different area.

"You can run, but you can't hide from me cutie. Cause I'm gonna rock your world." the boy promised as this boy is not only proven himself a mutant, but he also revealed himself as the same teenage boy that cerebro had detected from the same night that found out about Kitty being a new mutant, which means that this boy is known as Lance Alvis.

At the other side of the school at the tryout field...

As the new student females of different teams are either jogging or doing some stretches they been at this for a while now as the two same ladies from the hallway, the blonde and Riley as they are wearing gym outfits for girls as they are currently doing stretches.

"And, 1, 2, and 3.." Riley said to herself as she was doing good stretches as she was finish warm up she then was greeted by June who too is wearing gym outfit as from the looks of it, she been jogging from all the sweat she been doing to herself all class.

"Hey girlfriend, you been finishing up?" June asked her friend as she stood up and they did a handshake of greeting.

"Just did. You been jogging?" Riley asked her as she just swat her hair back as she wipe the sweat from her forehead.

"All class. Now, you wouldn't believe who just got here." June says to her as she folded her arms.

"Isn't your hotest man in school?"

"I wish, but no. Someone unexpected." June tells her as this pecked the blond interest as she stood up to chime in.

"Who is it then?" the blonde asked her as June pointed behind her.

"Take a right and check it out, Amy." June tells the blonde who is now confirmed as Amy as she and Riley glanced who got here as they smirked as to who it is.

It's Kitty, and she is wearing her gym outfit too as she is pacing to look for her gym coach, but she won't have to look further as she and every female in the field heard the whistled blow by the coach as she is stern and intimidated figure of a mid woman.

"Pryde, your late." the coach firmly told her as Kitty is pacing to head where the coach is at and when she got there, Kitty is breathing hard from the running he had to go to find the field and to change her clothes in the gym locker room.

"Sorry, coach. I was, like, having trouble with my locker." Kitty explained to the coach while glanced behind her the three lades that was smirking at her as June is laugh softly at this.

"Alright, you four, to the long jump." The coach stern ordered them as the three lades behind Kitty got moving to the long jump.

"Pryde, since your tardy, you will be going first." the coach tells her as this made Kitty depressed at this as she was walking to the long jump, she then felt that she step on something weird, and before she knew it a loud fart was made as this caught the attention of her, and everyone here as Kitty slowly look down and seems to be a fart toy but not everyone saw what she saw as they laughed at her as she not only felt embarrassed by this, she is angrily at who could have done this.

As Kitty look ahead at the one namely JUNE who is standing there acting innocent at this as the two friends of hers just laughed hard as Amy just high five with June as she is just stood there smirking, almost like she is daring her to do something about it.

It took every ounce of willpower to not go charging at her, because she is already have enough bad day and she doesn't want to add this to her consciousness too as Kitty suck up, and continued to walk to her assigned place.

Somewhere near the same field, the two guys just jumped off the trees and landed on one of the buildings and rushed to the square entrance block as one of the guys is doing a searched around it like he is checking something out, as he was on his knees to things out the other guy is still standing looking down at him but the guy just noticed him there and pushed him away from his personal space.

"Shut up with the clottin around." The guy with the cap on backwards said as this made him peeved about as he squat down and whack him in the head.

"Stow it, Griff! Can we bust in through here or not?" the guy reply as the other guy who is now Griff just shook his head at this.

"Not. It's wired into the alarm system." Griff said as this made the other cruised under his breath as he look up to the third guy that is looking at the field.

"Well, now what, Alvers? We got like, no way into this stinking office, and Mid-terms start in the morning." the guy asked Lance as he and Griff stood up and walked to where Lance is at as the guy walked next to him.

"Yeah, and exam answers ain't exactly gonna fetch a prime price after the test." Griff backed the other guy on this topic as Griff then got this smirk going on as he walked next to Lance who is still looking at the field.

"Can't you just, you know, make a door?" Griff suggested as got his arm land on Lance's shoulder which he pushed it off as he got this angry look at him.

"Sure. And let the entire school know we were in? They'll change the tests!" Lance tells them as they winced from the tone Lance used as he doesn't like anyone else to know what he can do, then he turned his attention back to the field with a smirk on his face.

"Besides, I got a much sweeter idea on how we get in without the hassle." Lance says to them as the guys follow Lance's glance as he was looking at Kitty down at the field where she is getting ready to do a jump back flips.

"Her. With the ponytail." Lance said confirm the answer on how to break in and the guys are confused and almost wanted to laugh at this.

"What? Are you gonna have her long jump through a wall hoping she doesn't get splat? Come on, get serious here!" Griff says smarting mouth to Lance which is a big mistake on his part as Lance just grabbed his arm roughly as he stares straight at Griff being intimidated as this frighten both Griff and the other guy.

"You riding me, Griff? Huh?!" Lance dares him to answer as the boys can feel the roof trembling slowly as Lance is the one doing it as Griff's arm can feel his bones in his arm about to break as he is just scared to answer.

"Are ya?!" Lance dares again as he pulled Griff the other right side next to the other guy as Griff can only respond to him quickly before Lance breaks his arm.

"S.. sorry man! I was just-" Griff was about too apologized as the roof is now stop shaking.

"Whoa, whoa. It's cool, Lance. He didn't mean anything by it." The guy got Lance to let go of Griff's arm as Lance can stared at the two in anger as he pulled off the guy holding him.

"You two stooges, just line up with the customers. While I snatched the answers." Lance insulted them in a nasty temper as the two leave Lance to stare at the field namely Kitty as she is about to make a break for a start.

Kitty is now running across the long jump sand and as she was about to try at least do a long jump back flip, she stumble a bit as she couldn't kept her balance as a result, Kitty fill in the sand face impact first before the rest as the lades that was watching, laughed at her poor attempt as Kitty try to get up, she then was gotten her face splash by water that came from under the sand as this took her by surprise as this made the viewers laugh at this.

As Kitty watched her face with her shirt, she yelled in frustration as she punched the sand as Kitty breathed heavy at this as she turned around to see June and the girls laughing at her.

"Oooh, what's the matter, kitty cat? Got a mix sand water in your face? Thought that cats don't like water." June mocks her as Kitty's face is red angry as she was about to pounce at her for what nasty trick she just pulled, but the coach hold her back.

"Pryde that's enough! Calm down!" the coach stern talked her as Kitty is angry at her as she kept a brave face as the coach looked at her direction.

"Davina! Did you do this?" Coach called out to June's last name as she then played the innocent route.

"Oh no coach. I was shock that water is in the sand as much as anyone! I was concerned to Miss Pryde fear of water." June says in a fake tone that Kitty struggles in the coaches grip.

"She's lying!" Kitty's yelled at her as it doesn't fazed her.

"Pryde! Lower that tone, now!" Coach tells her as a warning as this made Kitty stopped moving and seeing that Kitty is not acting in rage to cause a fight, she let her go and looked to June with that stare of hers.

"And YOU, I know about your reputation to the strange things that happens to certain people like Pryde here, if I see another one of those things pop up to any other students here, you will be sent to the Principles office for detention for a tenth time! Do I make myself clear?!" the coach warned her as June did this cross her chest area like she make a promise.

"Cross my heart, and hope to get the hunk of my clubs dreams!" June swears as while the other girls awed at this, the coach huffed in disinterest and if Kitty had the energy she would want to vomit in disgust.

As Kitty gets to the other side away from the girls as Amy does this imitation of a cat screeching to mock Kitty more not that Kitty would even bother to pay notice at.

"The Kitty cat's got a huge temper alright." Amy says as a insult to Kitty as Amy and June high five each at this as Riley makes her turn to the starting line.

"Take notes Pryde, this is how athletes do it." Riley tells her making a statement as she got to her starting position as she got her stance wide as she got this concentration look going on as she pivot her right foot in a right spot took a moment took get ready.

And off she goes as her lady friends except Kitty of course, is cheering for her to do it as she hustles to the second white line, and while Lance has watched the whole thing, he knows how he thinks will score him some trust points with the girl that was humiliate and mocked, he stretched his arm out at the long jump course, he starts to growl as he rolled his eyes to the back of his head as his body shakes and as the roof he stands not only rumbles, he is concentrate the ground bellow and makes a straight earthquake line to the long jump as it grew closer to it without anyone to noticed, as Riley made a big jump before making the white line while she is in the air before landing, Lance thrust his left arm up and as he did, the earthquake got under the sand and the pillar of sand engulf the surprise Riley as she was sent the other side the sand hard as this surprise the audience as sand covered her.

"What the- RILEY!" June yelled in concern as she makes her to Riley but Lance saw her coming and makes another earthquake straight line rumble and as she was about to reach her Lance does a thrust up with his right arm as the earthquake got under the sand again only it makes to pillars in front and back on her as she screamed as she too was covered by the sand hard.

"Huh? What is going...?" Kitty was about to asked herself as she did a look around to see the building which Lance is standing on was the one that did all that to Riley and June as he waved down at her as Lance smirked at her and does this wink at her as this did very little to make her blush as she knows how dangerous he can be as she whimpers taking a step back as she without thinking, starts to run the other way with her eyes closed.

As she was running without looking she bumped into someone as she open her eyes to see Jean and she didn't want to apologized as she run the other direction leaving Jean to stare in worry about her as Jean makes her way to follow her to where she is going.

Kitty doesn't know where she want to go or where she is going, she know she just wants to get away from that guy, and as she approach the door opening it and enter after closing it behind as she is a huge room as it looks like a play stadium as Kitty was slowing down she walk through a fake play half work done without a door as she was walking by the table and then out of anger she kicked the red chair across the room and then without looking she decided to sit on the table which cause her to almost fall but regain balance but table had a bowel of fruit and it was flown in the air as the fruit fall around Kitty she was about to catch the bowel but both her hands was phased through the bowel as it lands unshattered as this made Kitty gasped again as it happen again.

As she had a thought about something, she then got on her knees to touch the bowel like she was testing something, she did a few taps and her finger didn't phased through like before. Kitty looked at her hand for a moment as she figure that if she can concentrate to make it happen then she might, be able to know how to do on control then just happen on random incidents, and so she has her hand hover over the bowel she then close her eyes for a moment as Kitty is concentrating and then she slowly push her hand forward and then it phased through as she was succeed at what she did.

'It worked.' Kitty thought to herself as she is a little happy that she did it but then she heard a voice.

"Kitty?"

This startled Kitty as she pulled back her hand as she followed the direction where the voice came from, and saw Jean walking to her as Kitty got up quickly as she hope that Jean didn't saw her do what she just did.

"Kitty, are you all right?" Jean asked her in concern as Kitty didn't respond as she took a step back to fake building wall as Jean can sense that she is scared of what she would find out and she now understands why the Professor wanted her to be the one to connect with her and that's what she will do.

As Kitty noticed that she is a high up class woman like Riley and June she gave a sink eye at her as Jean drew closer to the stadium.

"That Rah-rah Riley and pristy June friends of yours? Cause, you know, like, I had nothing to do with what happened to them at the sandpit." Kitty tells her with no caring if she believes her or not as Kitty reached the left to grab a mask that was hanging there and Jean can sense that bitterness in the girls voice as she would not blame her for thinking that way as she walk up the steps.

"I know. And I'm not Riley's and June's friend. Especially what June did to you." Jean said with honest kind tone as Kitty was a bit surprise that someone actually knows it was June that did those tricks.

"Huh, so you know it was her?" Kitty said in wonder as Jean walked up to the table to get the towel that was left there as she pick it up and handed over to Kitty.

"I don't know what her issues is with you, but believe me, I don't know her nor would I ever be a friend to a bully." Jean tells her Kitty can almost believe her but made no reaction as she took the towel from Jean and use it to wipe her face with it then toss it aside.

"Can I ask what isn't between you two that distrust each other that much? Why does she hate you that much? It almost seem personal." Jean asked her as this made Kitty scoffed at this as she almost gripped the mask hard.

"You mean you don't know? June doesn't like me and pulled these tricks on me because she thinks I got a thing for this famous football player name Grant." Kitty tells her as she was a bit surprise that someone like her didn't know as Jean's wide as a surprise at this.

"Grant? What does he have to do with this?" Jean asked as to what she thinks she knows about her new friend.

"Plenty. June wasn't a big deal of a prankster but when this guy came to this school and making big wins for this football team other than that jerk Duncan, she and any other girls automatically fall for this guy and made this club that is dictated to him. They all got these weird sort of ideas none of them that gross. But when June heard about him and joined, she really became crazy after joining and got ideas that I don't think I can stomach it, and when I saw him talking with some of the guys of his team as he seemed friendly enough, and even talked too confidently on the same lengths as Duncan as I thought he was the same as that jerk, but when June found out, she made her personal mission to make my school year hard on me. Because she thinks I got a crush on him." Kitty explains the history as this got Jean peaked at this club part cause she never heard about it and notice that she got some of the wrong facts about Grant.

"A club? is it a secret club?" Jean asked her as Kitty was again surprise by this.

"Not exactly a secret club at first, but once it was authorized it became popular to hear in classes." Kitty says as Jean figures as much as she was focus on studies to pay attention on gossip talk like that.

"Did you had a crush on Grant?" Jean asked as this made Kitty almost took by surprise by this as she shook her head.

"NO! Of course not! I only saw him once and learned enough that he is the same as Duncan even though he is friendly than him." Kitty said as Jean can tell it was the truth even though she can know enough without her psychic powers as she shook her head at what she said.

"No Kitty. Your wrong. Grant is not like Duncan. It's true, that he does like to show off to the crowd every once in a while, but he is not a jerk bully like Duncan. They don't even like each other and disagrees a lot of things." Jean tells Kitty truthfully as this rose a eyebrow on this.

"Really? How would you know? You his fan? or his friend?" Kitty asked in curious tone doesn't believe a word about this as Jean try to think a best way to answer that.

"I'm kinda his fan but not in a way you think Kitty, and yes I'm his friend." Jean answered truthfully as Kitty turned from her attention and looked at the mask she is holding.

"Really? Well, I can believe that someone like you can be his friend and possibly more than that." Kitty said in bitterness as she is holding the mask in front of her face like she is trying to hide from her as Jean sighed at this as Jean move two steps in front of her.

"Kitty look. There's no need for mask. And I'm really just Grant's friend but I'm not here to talk about him, I'm here because I know what's going on with you and I can help you." Jean tells her kindly but this frustrates Kitty at this as she removed the mask from her face.

"You, like, don't know anything about me at all! And neither does that creepy guy out there!" Kitty shouted at her as this made Jean puzzled about this.

"Who? Lance?" Jean can guessed o whom she is refering to as shesit on the table to give Kitty her full attention.

"Look just forget about him. And forget about June. This talk isn't about either of those things, this is about you. You and your wonderful new gift." Jean tried to cheer her up but this made Kitty gloomed at this as she is not even gonna pretend to what she means by that as Kitty just snorted at this.

"I don't have any gifts, just a curse."

Jean just looked sad when she said it as she almost made Jean think on how she first found out about her powers, as Jean is not going to let Kitty to think that way the way she did when she was younger then her.

"Only if you'll let it be." Jean said in grimace as Kitty said nothing about it as Jean is gonna try to get through to her.

"I'd like to help you understand it. together we can..."

"Look lady! I don't want this! I don't want any of this, or what it is you think you can get out of! It's, like hard enough to be, just being normal without all the problems that I have to deal with in this school, you know?!" Kitty cut Jean off the conversation as she just rant her frustrations as Jean can feel the out of control emotions from her, and she needs to think of something to get her to see what's really imortant about her gift then having it to think it's gonna be a new found problem to think about, and Jean has one thing to get her to see past it.

"Kitty, look, I want to show you something and watch me for a second. Please?" Jean plead with her as Kitty took a moment of silence and then she looked at Jean as she nod her head as this made Jean leaned up from the table and looked at the mask Kitty is holding, and Jean raise her hand with a open hand as she is concentraing on the mask as it moves out of Kitty's hand as she watched in amazment as the mask is slowly placed back on the wall as Kitty turn to Jean looking at her differently as she stared at Jean in shock at this.

"How, how did you do that?" Kitty asked her in curious tone as Jean knew she made the right call as she walked up to Kitty as she placed her hand on her shoulder in comfort.

"The same way you can pass though walls and objects. I started out the same way you did, only as a little girl. One morning I woke up, and have this telepathic power. And trust me I hated it too." Jean explains to her as she almost chuckled at this as Kitty is listening to this, but she then doesn't want to believe it but inside her mind she did.

"I...I... I don't believe you!" Kitty said to her as she swatted her hand off her shoulder as she is looking up at Jean still showing distrust, but Jean knows better than her eyes see.

"This is a trick!" Kitty says but Jean doesn't believe her as she can feel that Kitty believes her words and action.

"No. No, you do beileve me." Jean said with certainty as this confuse Kitty with wide eyes.

"What? How...?" Kitty startled at this but a Jean looks at her with a serious yet kind look on her eyes.

"I know because of my other Telepathic ability. I can read your thoughts." Jean tells the truth as this was a mistake as panic spread across Kitty's face as she tried to placed both her hands on each sides of her head to try to block out reading her mind.

"No! Get out of my head! NO!" Kitty got away from Jean as she is concern for her as Kitty rushed for the door exit.

"Kitty wait!" Jean tried to call her back but it was too late as Kitty already left through the door, as Jean sighed softly at her failed attempt to reach with, to reason with her. As jean thought that with Kitty left she was left alone, she was not.

As felt a tugg turned her around in surprise to see Lance here and he is mad at her as Jean was backed up against the fake wall sett up play.

"Piece of advise, Red." Lance got near her face in a threating manner as Jean stood calm at this position as she is listening what Lance want to say.

"I'm the only friend that chick's gonna need. And I'll be the one that will teach her what's what. So you stay out of my way and her's because if you screw up my chances with her, I will not hesitate to bring you, and this darn school down." Lance warned her as he finished his statement to her as he brushed past her as she watches him exit out of the door.

'I better let the professor knows about this. I saw what he did at the sandpit. There's no telling what he will make her do if he bonds with her and has her do something she will regret forever.' Jean thinks to herself as she makes her way out of the stadium room and plans to make a private phone call to her Professor on wat she will do about this. Just hope the guys are doing okay then she is doing.

"WHOOO!" Grant wooting as he and his buddies are having a blast as they had already make some pit stops as he and Kurt were laughing on some joke as Scott was in on it for while as they kinda lost track of Logan a while ago, but when they did Grant had the car stop for the arcade and while Scott didn't agree to this, it was out of his hands when Grant and Kurt made a break for it.

As they were in there, they were wining games and getting gifts of different kind of toys as they were stuff animals but the one that Kurt like was the squid, and the one that Grant got was this Godzilla animal which as a matter a fact, is the joke that Grant was having with Kurt and Scott in the car while they reasumed driving.

"You not serious Grant!" Kurt said in between laughing as Scott was holding back some of the laugh as Grant is laughing his butt off.

"I'm freaking dead serious man! When Godzilla, was about to take the battle, to this ugly monster that you wouldn't believe seeing, Godzilla was, just SOMEHOW got in the air with his, his, TAIL RIDING LIKE IT'S A FREAKING JET!" Grant explains to him as he laugh really hard at this as Kurt joined in on the laughing party as Scott sinker at this.

"In that defense, the creators back then wanted to give something entraining to the viewers back home in the sixdes or the fithdes, because the movies of Godzilla were always serious destrution and always battling monsters or destroying the cities all that stuff." Scott explains to the two as Kurt had hold back his laughter at this.

"Maybe they wanted to give an improvement character to his fighting style." Kurt said in sugestion but Grant got this joyful look on his face.

"Or maybe, the creators, were just, FREAKIN LAZY!" Grant blurted out as he and Kurt started laughing hard as they continued on their search to follow Logan as Scott groans at this.

'I sure hope Jean is having an easier time then we are.' Scott thinks to himself as he past through the green light as he and his friends trying to find Logan and Scott better hope they find him quick cause he's not sure if he can take much more of this playful banter jokes.

Back at High School in the Hallway...

After Kitty left the room after a hour because she will need to still go class, Kitty had already been to the girls locker room and changed back into her cloths, Kitty went to get some books for her next class as she was trying to forget the conversation she had with this upper-class woman and she can't ignore the fact that she did believe what she says is the truth but still crazy to hear, hopefully her next class will help her get this off her mind as she is going through her locker in the hallway, as she took some books out and looked through them to see if their what she needs for her next class.

But unbeknownst to her, someone crept up behind her as that person tap her shoulder this quickly made her startled as she not only drop her books but also turned around to see that guy again from the field as Lance hold up his hands up innocent as Kitty thought she was getting bullied again as she almost punched him.

"Easy, easy. I won't shake things up again. I promise." Lance said as he slowly got down to pick the books she drop and picks them in an order and hold them in front to her as a peace offering as Kitty looks at him suspicious as she doesn't believe him for a second.

"We didn't introduce ourselves before right. My, my name is Lance. Lance Alviers. We should really talk." Lance introduce and made a suggest for conversation as this made Kitty scoffed at this as she is not interested to hear what he wants nor does she wanted to talk to him as she is dealing with enough on her plate today.

"Uh, God! Why can't everyone take a hint and just leave me the heck alone already?!" Kitty exaggerated as she swipe the books from him and turned to close the locker door behind her, as this made Lance winced at the sound.

'Darn, she's even cute when she's mad. Better get her on my side of things before I lose her.' Lance thinks to himself as Kitty is about to walk away.

"You feel sick inside every time you think about it, don't you?" Lance tells her as this stopped her in her tracks as he kept going on as he caught her attention now.

"You want it to go away, you even wish it to happen to anyone else, but you can't. Your afraid of what might happen if you lose control in public. Your parents are clueless to what is really bothering you, probably don't want to find out how to get rid of it much less how to help you through it. Their probably ashamed of what you are becoming too."

His words hits on every negative dread emotion that Kitty realize that Lance is right on some levels, Kitty does feel like she is sick inside from having this power to worry about, and she does feel afraid that she might lose control over it, and her parents are probably ashamed of her from having this power as she looks down at the floor pondering with her thoughts as Lance kept talking.

"You even wanted to be left alone with it and don't want anyone to help you out. But the thing is, being alone with your problems that you have no clue how to deal with, won't help you either."

Kitty's wide at this statement as she did feel like that she wanted to be left alone with her problems. It's almost like Lance knew what she is feeling inside but how could he know that. As her eyes then narrowed in bitterness as she turned to face him.

"What? Are you like, reading my mind too or something? How could you know anything about where I am going with this uh?!" Kitty says in spiteful as this made Lance shook his head as he waved his hands innocent.

"No way! I kinda know what's going on with you because, I just went through the same thing too." Lance said as this surprise Kitty that he experience what she is going through too.

"Y-you went through the same thing?" Kitty asked in wonder as Lance nod his head at her question.

"Ya, Recently I got this power and when I told my folks about it, they just kicked me out because it." Lance told a bit of truth on that as for a moment Kitty felt bad for him as she felt real sorry for him.

"And even after that, I'm still going through it myself after being kicked out." Lance says as he took a two step forward close to her as he didn't want her to walk away yet.

"As you know, trying to work things out, with powers and everything else. Figure out why you and I have these powers. But I was able to control it well as you seen me do it several times now." Lance tells her and after hearing enough from him, Kitty decides to continue her path to the next classroom alone with her thoughts and what Lance has told her.

"If you wanted to find me, to learn how to control it, meet me outside of the office building in the hour. And I will show you how." Lance informs her as she only heard the first and middle parts as she already off from ear shot.

Somewhere in the city, outside of the Museum...

After Xavier and Jean took the blackbird and return to the mansion to get the Bentley as s subtle vehicle to take her to school which took an hour to drop her off and when Jean got to school later Xavier took the day of his own way on trying out to learn about stuff in the history which is the Museum, and he spend some hours in it learning a great deal about then he has in the mansion and about a few minutes after, he got a call from Jean about the situation she encounter as Xavier is listening on how she explains over the phone as Xavier wheelchaired out the front of the museum.

"I see. It's unfortunate, but I'm happy that you are not harmed." Xavier says to Jean over the phone as he is getting a picture of the trouble with Kitty problem.

'I'm fine professor, but I'm worried about Kitty.' Jean says to him as Xavier is to finding this a bit, troubled as there is another mutant like Toad, is going to use powers for the wrong reasons.

"Indeed, it sounds like Lance could be trouble. If he gets her to bond with him and he with her, we may not be able to reach her or make her realize what things she won't know what she is making under Lance's influence." Xavier warns her as Jean is fully aware of the worst case in the situation.

'I agree. And what's worse, is that he is reaching her.' Jean tells him as this made Xavier frowned at this as he is serious on this.

"You have to stay with it, Jean. We can't lose her like this and I don't want to lose her. Whatever obstacles get in the way, they can be over come." Xavier remind her as this did very to restore faith as this made Jean nod as she thought about something else.

'Okay Professor, but I will need help if I happen to be in a fight with Lance. I have seen what he can do if he get's in a situation that could put Kitty and the school in danger.' Jean tells him as Xavier got the message loud and clear on that part as he is afraid that could happen, he knows that he will come over there after notifying Kitty's parents, but Jean will need help so he will ask either Scott, Kurt, and Grant if should the situation grows dangerous.

"I understand Jean, I will get the boys down to help you as I am on my way to the school. But Jean, you will have to deal with Lance if neither of them can help, understand?" Xavier warns her as Jean can understand that she may have to tackle this on her own.

'I understand Professor.' Jean said with a hint of worry but Xavier has confidence that she will help and save Kitty from the mistake she is making with Lance.

"Xavier out." With that said to her, he put up his phone away in his pocket as he now looks at the situation he got himself into.

"Though, some obstacles are more irritating than others." Xavier said to himself as the statement is more true that most people believe as he needs to figure out how to get to his ride, down the long steps, while on his wheelchair.

'I probably should have stayed looking through my books back at the mansion if I am gonna get calls like this more often.' Xavier thinks to himself as he makes his move to get himself out of the situation.

Somewhere in the city with Grant, Kurt, and Scott...

"Alright, there he is! taking a turn to the left!" Kurt said as Grant looks and place for Scott to turn and so is he but they barley saw the biker.

"Okay Guys, hang on!" Scott warns them as he made a huge turn to the left as he got the car in facing the direction which there is no sign of the biker anywhere.

"Uh, Kurt? Where's Logan?" Grant asked as he and his friends are looking any direction but then the two in front heard Kurt groaned annoyed.

"He's over there." Kurt said as he pointed straight at the right side as the biker looks nothing like Logan.

"Um, buddy I don't think that's what Logan looks like when we last saw him the afternoon." Grant tells him as this made Kurt groaned in agreement.

"I know! ARH! Darn it!" Kurt says in frustration as he accidently hit the right side of Scott's car.

"Hey ,hey! Come on now! I told you to watch out hitting my car dude." Scott reminds him as Kurt sheepishly rubs the back of his head.

"S-sorry. I thought it was him." Kurt apologized as Grant placed his hand on his shoulder for comfort to relax.

"It's okay Kurt. Everyone can make mistakes." Grant reassured him as this cheered Kurt up a bit.

"Just don't do it again man. That is the door panel you just hit. The paint job is one thing, but those are smudge resistant, their not made dent resistant." Scott informs him as Grant is looking around to see who they are following.

"Let's just focus on finding him. I mean, how hard can it be to find an anger management old man?" Grant tells his friends as they both nodded their heads as they looked around the area that's a lot of parked cars and couple of buildings on the right and a few on the left.

As Scott was about to call off the look out, Kurt saw someone up as he pointed straight up.

"Not very hard Grant, look there!" Kurt tells them as Grant and Scott shared the direction and they did find who their chasing but Logan is in a different area point.

They saw what it seems to be a indoor parking lot, (Or it's a parking garage. Which ever suit you guys.) as it is the tallest one they seen yet as it may have like 16 or 12 level floors that has parked cars in it and at the very top, they see Logan in his Wolverine outfit as he is almost like he is waiting for something or someone as he looks up the sky, as his motorcycle is next to him and the back is a small shat building as Wolverine pay no attention to the new arrivals down bellow.

"I think it's him alright." Kurt said as he saw him the different uniform as Scott noticed Grant got that look from before they saw Wolverine left the Mansion.

"Hey, what's up man. You look like you saw a ghost." Scott asked him as Grant got away from the figure up there but then they heard Kurt yelp all the sudden.

"Gah! G...G...G...ghost?! Where?" Kurt says in panic as Scott and Grant chuckled at this.

"No man, there's no ghost. Scott here is saying it metaphorically speaking." Grant tells him as this made Kurt calm down and ease up as he turned to Scott shaking his head.

"No, not a ghost dude. It's just I swear I saw him before." Grant says to him as this made Scott puzzled at this.

"Before? What do you mean?" Scott asked but Kurt shushed them for some reason.

"Guys, quite. I think Mr. Logan is hearing something up there." Kurt alerts them as they watched what's going up there as they see Logan looking down in both right and left as he is definitely searching for something.

Wolverine is now hearing the same noise engine cycle from before and so does spectators as he quickly turned to his left to see who is been waiting for just ride up from the small shat building and landed roughly and without stopping as he almost ran wolverine over if he hadn't doge the other way as he crouch down as he stared intense at the biker as Sabertooth as his bike turned a screeched noise as he turned it to face his rival.

"Unfinished business, Runt." Sabertooth growls under his breath as Wolverine's eyes narrowed at his rival.

"Bring it on, pops." Wolverine challenged him as he unsheathed his three adamantium claws through his fists.

"Bring. It. On." Wolverine dares him one last time.

Even though they don't know what's going on up there, Grant got a good feeling that a fight is happening, and when he look to Scott as he did the same.

"Dude." Grant states but Scott nod his head as he knows what he is gonna say as he look at Kurt in the back.

"Kurt, is our 'stuff' in our bags?" Scott asked as this made Kurt grin at what he means as he nod his head.

While they are doing a check through their bags, Wolverine up top of the Parking Garage got up and ready to fight Sabertooth and a few moments later, Sabertooth reeve up his bike as it sped up straight at Wolverine, but he was ready for it this time as it got close enough for him to dodge and at the same time sliced the bike in half, as Sabertooth was about to go overboard with his mess up bike he got off just in time for the bike to fall over the three teens.

"OH CRUD!" Grant yelled in surprise as he and Scott about to brace, Kurt in his quick thinking grabbed his friends and teleport them out of the car, as the bike crashed on top of it, as they reappeared next to Scott's car as they were still holding on their backpacks.

"Ahh! My car!" Scott exclaimed at the lose of his car.

"Our stuff from the arcade!" Grant is too expressing a lose of the things they got from the arcade before they got here as the two boys looks at Kurt as he was nervous on how to respond.

"Um, well at least we didn't lose our bags which has, you know what in it." Kurt offers a good point to ease up as the boys see reason at this, as Grant look up to see Sabertooth was hanging on and jumped the 15 level to the one above.

"Okay, it's personal. Let's suit up! I always wanted to say that." Grant said before he kinda ruin the moment as the boys get their stuff out of their bags.

As Wolverine got up from dodging that one, and he notice that Sabertooth had gone off the ledge, at first he gets a breather but Wolverine gets a unexpected surprise as he felt the ground shaking as he immediately knows it's him as he sees the ground about have something pop through and before he could do something, he was then left from the ground as the car came through the ground as Wolverine is still having his balance trying not to fall off it.

But he lost his balance as he was thrown to the ground on his back, and he knew that Sabertooth is using the cars to get at him at top as he has no time to waste as Sabertooth on one level bellow got ahold another car and pushed through where Wolverine is at again as he was thrown to the other side by this action again as he was rolling over some of the cracks as soon he was, the ground gave out as he was falling down to the same level as Sabertooth is waiting on him.

As he fell down hard with rocks came down on top of him he was slowly got up to his feet, but failed to see a car coming at him as soon he saw it, Wolverine saw it is Sabertooth pushing the car against him as he got Wolverine trapped between the car and the rock pillar that holds the top level ground as he is trying to get out but Sabertooth got him trapped as he is growling in pain from the weight that is pushing against him.

"One shall fall by the other's hand, our destiny demands it. We can't change it and you know it." Sabertooth rant as he kept the pressure up on Wolverine as he is still struggling out of the car.

"Grr, I didn't know, you were into that philosophy mumbo jumbo crap." Wolverine insult him as he was pressed further against by the car then suddenly a voice called out.

"Hey, Hairball!"

This caught the attention of both Sabertooth and Wolverine as Sabertooth stop pressing the car and turned to see two teens namly Cyclops and NightCrawler both in their uniforms of the X-Men as Kurt is in his true blue form.

"I got your 'Destiny' right here!" Cyclops tells him after press the buton of his visor and shot a red beam straight at Sabertooth point blank as it threw him across the large area filled with cars as he was thrown against the car of a big hit and he got on his knees from that attack, this gives Wolverine a chance to get himself off the car as he did he was letting his healing factor kick in.

Nightcrawler took this opprentunty to come at Sabertooth as he leap in the air to teleport from there to where Sabertooth is at as he already got up from that beam as Nightcrawler reappear and coming at him, Nightcrawler was bumped against the tall figure as he was land on his butt unexpected.

"Typical." Nightcrawler said to himself from the stupid move he did and as he was staring at the figure that was about to bring down both his claws at him, a voice caught his attention.

"HEY PUSSYCAT!" this grab his attention as he saw an incoming jumping kick coming at him.

"HEEYAH!!" As the view came as the kick turned into an obsidian as Sabertooth was hit by the face hard as it threw him across the car again as he got his knees, again and as the person landed next to Nightcrawler as he looked to greet a friendly face.

"It looks like your idea work, Mein friend." Kurt says to Grant who is looking very sharp in a new uniform he got from Storm after she and Jean came from shopping a few days ago.

As Grant is indeed is wearing a X-men uniform, his got some style as there is red mix orange stripes next to his upper and middle suit as it continues his tight suit pants as he got hard lined black boots as the rest of the color of the suit and his long suit sleeves is black blue color as there is a X-men symbol on his belt in the middle down his waist and got that collar almost covered his neck he doesn't have a mask yet, and it didn't came with gloves but he will fix that later.

"Ya, sorry we decide you be bait." Grant apologized as he offered his hand to Nightcrawler as he accepted it as he pulled him off ground as he turned to the Sabertooth as he cracks his neck side ways as he spit out the broken tooth as he stare dangerously at Grant.

"Grrr, Who the hell are you suppose to be, boy?!" Sabertooth demanded as Grant got his game face on as he step forth toward him.

"Well Bigfoot, my friends call me Grant," He started pointing himself and then he pointed at Sabertooth who is getting up his feet. "guys like you can call me, the Obsidian Man."

Sabertooth does a loud roar as he charges at him.

"Stand back guys! I got this!" Obsidian Man tells his friends as he charge at the rampaging opponent and just as the creature about slash him with his claws, Obsidian Man ducked and does a few hard shot punches to to him as this made Sabertooth reeling but backhand him threw him in the air as Nightcrawler got there by teleport and disappear with Obsidian Man and reappear again next to Cyclops.

"You were saying?" Cyclops asked as Obsidian Man stood up and shake off from the hit.

"Yeah, maybe I spoke to soon." Obsidian Man says as they saw Sabertooth coming at them.

"Does anyone have a plan?!" Nightcrawler asked for suggestions as Obsidian Man step forward.

"Yeah, I got a plan. ATTACK." With that he rushed at Sabertooth again.

"Grant, WAIT!" Cyclops called out to him as it was to late as the two gone at it again.

As Obsidian Man done a bit thinking by trying to block his opponent's attacks with his rocky matter fist as some got him the ribs as he hold it out and does a uppercut that hits Sabertooth square in the chin sends him back but stood his ground as Sabertooth just growls at him and as Obsidian Man got close to try a double punch Sabertooth counter it by hugging him up then threw him across the area bumping some cars.

"Cyclops, we got to help him another wise he's cat food!" Nightcrawler told him in concern as he got some thinking then, he got and idea.

"I got it. Obsidian Man!" Cyclops called out to him as he barely dodge that huge strike as Grant turned to look at him.

"I got a plan! Follow my lead!" Cyclops tells him as Obsidian Man agrees with him, as this is getting a bit intense with this crazy guy.

"Okay!" Obsidian Man reply back as he turns to see Sabertooth hold out a car and throws it but rolls the other way for it to crash other cars.

"Hey kitty stuck in a tree, catch me if you too much of a pussycat!" Obsidian Man taunts him as he just roared at him as Obsidian Man just starts running with Sabertooth tailing on as he hassle the fast he can with Sabertooth just lung at him and when he thought he had him, Obsidian Man just duck down as Sabertooth miss a landed some other cars as he roars in annoyance as Obsidian Man just stick his tongue out at him.

"Come on you milk cat! You ain't so bad! You ain't so bad!" Obsidian Man just taunts him some more as veins pops his forehead as he is already mad enough as he just charges at him on four arms like a lion as this made Obsidian Man took off again leading him the other direction and when he got far enough and see where the surprise is he smirks and stopped and turn at the charging villain.

"Oh, what's the matter? You more use to fighting old men then against young handsome devils like me?! Come on! My grandma could have caught me by now!" Obsidian Man taunts him the last time as Sabertooth roared bellowed as he lung at him as he still got this smirk on his face and when Sabertooth got close, Obsidian Man crouched down revealing Cyclops pointed his visor at Sabertooth and before Sabertooth realize this, Cyclops shot another red beam point blank at him, sending him straight where an elevator is open as Sabertooth was forced in it as he hit it's wall hard and when he saw Wolverine was closing in on him, the elevator door close just in time.

His claws stab through it as the elevator has already started go down taking Sabertooth with him, by the time Wolverine shred the the metal door in pieces Sabertooth is already gone bellow level as he watched it disappear not before a voice from Sabertooth is heard.

"A TASE OF THINGS TO COME, WOLVERINE!" as it was the only thing to be heard as the teens walked next to Logan looking down where the elevator went.

"Booyeah! That's right, run with your tail between your legs kitty cat!" Obsidian Man cheered as the rest of the teens shared the same feeling of victory.

"Yeah, that's right! We are the X-Men!" Nightcrawler says with feeling as Grant turn to Cyclops and the two high five and did the same with Kurt.

"heck yeah! Scott that idea was brilliant!" Grant complemented as he nod his head at he smirk at this.

"Thanks man, but you were doing most of the work here." Scott did his complement but he shook his head as he shared the smirk to.

"No, no, no. You deserve the most credit for coming up an idea like that." Grant complement back but Kurt rase his blue hands of three fingers.

"Mein friends, I believe that ser Logan deserve the most credit for facing him by himself before we got here." Kurt tells them this made Wolverine turn with a stern stare.

"That fight, wasn't yours to get involved in." Wolverine tells them as he didn't like seeing them here at all.

"Wait, what? Come on Logan! We just won a fight here as a team." Grant tells him as this look at Grant intensely as this flinched him and the other two.

"And you, what the hell was that you did?" Logan demand as this made him puzzled about.

"What do you mean?" Grant clueless to what he meant as did the other two, before Cyclops got an idea of what before Logan spoke.

"YOU just ran at someone that's 10 times the league level then you and the rest of you here! You could have gotten yourself killed for doing that!" Logan lectured him and the two as Scott did see Grant reckless move on Sabertooth.

"But-"

"Shut it and listen!" Wolverine cuts him off with firm tone that gotten the teens winced about.

"I don't fight your battles, so don't you ever fight mine again. It was my fight to win, not you, or anyone! Alexander, later today you will report to the Danger Room for another today's lesson and I expect you to be there. Double time boy or so help me..." Wolverine angrily stern talk them and Grant as the teens shurded as the Wolverine walks past them and as he was about to leave Grant's eyes widened in realization.

"WAIT!" this made him halt his tracks as he look over his shoulder as his friends look at him strangely.

"That guy, he called you, Wolverine right?!" Grant asked as his friends puzzled at this.

"What of it?" Logan says without a care the Grant did as big smile at him.

"Grant, what's up?" Scott questioned him.

"The guy called him Wolverine, that what's up! I knew I recognized him from somewhere!" Grant says it in ecstatic as this rase an eyebrow on Logan.

"You mean, you meet Mr. Logan personally before?" Kurt asked him as this made him shook his head.

"Well, no not personally. But I did hear stories about him from Georgia." Grant said as this raise some questions as did Logan which surprise him because he hadn't been in Georgia in a long time.

"What kind of stories?" Scott asked in curious tone.

"GREAT stories man! This guy was able to stop the most criminal activity in my old town, and he was able to save lot of lives there! The news didn't know who it was that stop them because they didn't have the personal info about him, but some guys that I used to hang around says it was him! Wolverine the Hero!" Grant explains with pride in his voice as the two was surprise and was interested and smiled at what he said. Logan on the other hand, said nothing about it.

"Wow! Logan really did all that where your from?!" Kurt was beamed by this as much as Grant is as Scott too is impress to what Grant said.

"Not bad. Hey Logan, did you really... huh?!" Scott was about to ask him, but Logan walked away as the other teens saw him walk off as they were confuse as to why he won't talk about this topic.

"Why did he walk off like that?" Grant asked as this is a good question to Scott to as he gets a feeling that Logan knows there's more to these stories that involves him.

"Nah, it's his way of saying he loves us." Kurt said it in a positive way as Grant looks at him with his arms folded.

"Even though he just threathen us a couple minutes ago?" He asked him.

"Yep."

"And also accuss me being reckless and not being a team player?"

"Well, I wouldn't say you weren't being a team player, but he got the reckless part right." Kurt says in honesty as this made Grant sighed as this made Scott placed his hand on his shoulder.

"It's alright Grant, Logan is not use to feeling the heart to heart talks, he will tell us whenever he wants to." Scott reassured him as this cheered him up a bit, but got his eyebrow raise at his statement.

"Did you just try our Professor impression dude?" Grant as a grin slowly appear on his face this made Kurt snicker as Scott try to hide it but fail.

"Well, um, maybe?" Scott said honestly as this burst in laughter of two teens as Scott was embarrassed by this.

"Well thanks man." Grant said to him as he and Scott shook each other's hands as they broke it up, Kurt then pop up a question.

"Um guys?" the two teens look at him.

"How do we get out of here?" Kurt asked a good question as their ride was trashed and they got no other means, wait.

Grant groans at a realization as he looks at Kurt as he was suppose to know the answer.

"Dude, your powers? Teleport to one place to another? Do you know where our home is at?" Grant says to him as Kurt facepalm his head at this.

"Duh! Of course!" Kurt said as he grab the both his friends as he teleport them out of there.

Back at the High School outside of the office building...

As the sun is setting, every student must have gone home by now, all but a few students, namely Lance Alviers as he leans against the wall as he is waiting on Kitty to find him if she wanted to know how to get in touch with control or at least how control can be overate as he is planning on showing her how after, he gets her to have him break into the office to steal the test answers without her knowing and if she did, he maybe able to convince her that the people running the school wanted to use her and how she thinks, and who knows, maybe and Lance hoped he could get this chick to go out with him, stealing the test answers and helping her on how she should really use her powers is only a bonus, getting her to like him and go on a relationship maybe is the punch liner.

As he waits patiently he heard something in the bushes, he look to see the person he is waiting on as he got off from leaning the wall.

"How- how do you take control of it? You know, your powers?" Kitty asked as he smiled mentally as he can tell that this does mean to her and he is gladly gonna help her out about this question.

"It's rather easy actually. By admitting something that we don't want to admit honestly, to how to cop to, that we are outsiders, that others were right about one thing that there is something wrong with us." Lance said to her as this made Kitty had her close as some tears drip from her eye lids as Lance took this moment to wipe the tears off as he didn't like to see a pretty lady like her cry about this.

'It doesn't suit that pretty face of hers anyway.' Lance thinks to himself as he got her to open her eyes as he wanted her to pay attention to what else he need her to hear.

"Hey, don't fret about it, don't hide from it and don't run from it. Embrace it. When I was kicked out, it took me a while to realize it, but it's the truth that I found out about and not run away from it anymore, and that is how I took control, and so can you." Lance said to her as her eyes wide at this and maybe he was right, no he is right as she did want to run from it, but it wouldn't go away and so if she is to live with it, Kitty need to embrace it.

Then she notice how close her face is to his as a small blush appear on her cheeks a little but shook it off.

'B.. besides, he just talks, the right way, is all.' Kitty thinks to herself as Lance was waiting on her to listen, and he knows that she is listening again he continues.

"From the way I see it, fate dealt us winning cards... if we play them together." Lance said to her as she looks unsure now as she understood little now by what he meant.

"Nothing is making much sense to me." Kitty said as she turned her back to him as he can tell that he is getting closer to what he wanted as she still has doubt.

"That's why I'm here, to light you the way to what I mean, to your path." Lance says to her as he place his hand on her shoulder as she is still unsure though.

"And the first step leads us right into that office." Lance tells her as he step aside to point the building in front of them, as Kitty looks at it as Lance walks behind her having both his hands on her shoulders for comfort.

Kitty then took a deep breath before she gather the courage to make a decision as she now got this brave face on.

"Okay. I'll do it. I will take control." Kitty said as he let her go as he got this winning smirk without her notice as she walks up to the wall, she looks back to see Lance shows his support as this made her continue as she look the wall again as she raise her hand as she brought it slowly toward the wall as she took a breath her fingers now starting to phase through and she look as this made her cheered herself as she is proud of herself.

'H... he was right!' Kitty thinks to herself proudly as she look to see him walking past her.

"Your doing great Kitty! Keep going! I will wait outside of the office door." Lance said to her as this comfort her to keep going as she is now going forward through the wall as Lance smirk to himself as he rushed inside.

As Kitty phase through the wall completely as she found herself in the office room as she jumped up and down as she is proud of herself that she actually had control by accepting it as a part of her.

Kitty heard a knock on a door as she rushed to the door knowing who it is as she got to the door, she unlocked it, opens it and there Lance is as he said he would, in her happy moment she just hugged the boy that helped her come to terms of her powers.

"Your right! Did you see me do it? Did you Lance?" Kitty as he hugged her back and as they let go of each other, she walked the other letting Lance in the office as he close it behind him.

"I sure did. Wow, Kitty. How did it feel when you took control?" Lance asked her as she was jumping up and down feeling pride about herself.

"Oh, it was, like, totally unbelievable Lance." Kitty says as she turned to hug him again as he return the hug back feeling great about this too.

"You're making it yours, Kitty. Once you own it, no one would want to own you. Not me, no one." Lance says to her as this made her happy that someone like him was able to help her how to handle her powers, maybe he wasn't all jerky after all.

Back outside of the school with Jean Grey and the Professor X...

Outside of the Office building and the School Jean had already meet up with Professor X and she had already in her X-men uniform as she and him are at the side walk waiting for Kitty's parents as Xavier already told them of the problem and to meet them here, and soon enough the car came to view.

As the car pulled up next to the sidewalk, the first person that got out of the car is the father follow him by his wife as he made a dash as he is extremely worried about his daughter.

"We got here as soon as we heard Kitty is in some kind of trouble. Where's she at? Where's my daughter?" The man asked them as his wife caught up to him as she walked next to him.

"Kitty is in the office. She broke into it." Jean answered as this surprise the parents by this news.

"She's... She's never done anything like this before. Kitty wouldn't do this! Why would she do this?" The woman says with pure shock and worried for her little girl as this made the father shook his head to hope this isn't true but it is and somehow, this is something to do with him.

All because he didn't want to think his girl having powers is real and he didn't want to think anything about it as he looked guilty about this.

"Go with them Jean. I'll catch up with you in a bit." Xavier ordered her as she understands as she and the parents rushed to the office building to hope they can save her from making a big mistake.

As the three went inside, Xavier pulled out his phone from his coat pocket as he dials a new number and as he is listened for the person to pick up, he heard it answered.

'Hello? Who's this?' answered by Grant on the other side of the phone as Xavier is glad he answered.

"This the professor Grant, we got a situation at the school." Xavier told in a serious tone as he can tell that this surprise him.

'Trouble? What kind prof?' Grant asked him to go in detail.

"There's no time to explain. Jean is going to need our help with Kitty. I need you come at the school as quick as you can." Xavier frimly told him.

'Wait what?! Jean? Kitty? wha..'

"Now's not the time Grant! Can you get here?" Xavier asked one last time as he didn't have to wait long for an answer.

'Sure professor, I'm still wearing my hero suit. Just need to get a favor from my main ride. See you in a second.' Grant answered as this cuts off the phone line as Professor calmy puts away his phone.

And not a moments later as he promised, a smoke teleport revealed both Grant and Kurt as he is still wearing his uniform and Kurt include.

"Woah! Thanks dude." Grant thanked his friend as they did a fist bump as Kurt waved to the professor and teleport out of there leaving Grant and the professor.

"Okay, now what's this about Jean need help and what does the new mutant chick got anything to do with this?" Grant asked for answers as Professor is more than willing as he started his wheelchair heading toward the office building.

"Time is of the essence Grant, hurry we got to meet up with Jean and Kitty's parents. I will explained on the way." Xavier tells him as Grant can tell this is serious as he got his game face on again as he and the professor hurried to find Jean and the parents to the office building.

Back with Kitty and Lance in the office room...

Lance is sitting on the chair as Kitty was confused to what he is doing but he is typing some buttons as the screen on the computer lit up showing the exam test answers as Kitty saw this and is more confused as to why he pulled up the exam test answers and she didn't have to wait that long as Lance type one button and soon enough the test answers are copied.

"Ha Ha! Test answers present and accounted for." Lance said out loud as the data drive disk square just pop out with the answers copied as Lance grabbed it.

"Wait, that's why you wanted to help me? You were using me to get you inside and help you cheat the exam tests?" Kitty asked in shock at what she saw him did and didn't like the fact that he used her but this made Lance frown at this he showed this to her.

"Hey! I never used you. All of that was me getting you accept the power that is apart of you. I never made you do anything, I just opened the door to you and you made that choice yourself." Lance tells her which is kinda the truth.

"And the tests? Why want to cheat?" Kitty asked innocently.

"These tests here, where kept under lock and key because this crummy school wanted us to be kept down. Because they think can be in power over us." Lance tells her as he put the disk away in his pocket as he now got this grin that made Kitty having a bad feeling about.

"Not anymore though! We can be in control." Lance says to her as Kitty now noticed that he is now talking crazy and before she almost believed what he said to her, but now...

"Now, let's see if we can modify some grades here. Starting with you." Lance said in a good mood like it's a good thing but to Kitty as she shook her head in surprise to him as he turned to the screen for a moment as he started to type in.

"Kitty Pryde. P-R.."

"NO!" Kitty yelled at him as she stopped him from doing anything about her grades this had Lance grab both of her wrests as he got up from the chair as he staring down at her he got her backed from the desk.

"Look! There's no victim here. We're just evening the score." Lance reasure her as he let go but Kitty is starting to see what's really going and now doesn't want anything to do with it as she shook her head at him.

"This doesn't feel right. I... I've changed my mind! I don't want anything to do with this! I want no part in any of this!" Kitty declared as she was about to leave but Lance wasn't going to let her as he got of hold of her close to him.

"Whoa. Whoa, cutie. What are you doing? You don't have to leave. Come on Kitty." Lance tried to smooth her as this made her blush as to what he said but shook it as she is struggling to get free.

"Don't call me that!" Kitty yelled at him and before he could say anything, someone open the door wide as the two look to see Jean and Kitty's parents at the door.

"Hey you! Get your hands off of my daughter now!" Kitty's father demanded as he was about to rush at him but Lance has other ideas.

"That's far enough old man!" Lance threaten him as he stretched his arm out and does a rumble at the area that stop Kitty's father his tracks and soon enough the staircase of books was knock to the side come on top of him as Jean and Kitty's mother gasped in shock as the staircase has gotten her father trapped his legs with books scattered all over next to as he was on his arms hold him steady.

"Daddy! No! Leave him alone! Stop it!" Kitty tells him as she struggled more but Lance gruffed at this as he pulled her with as he walked to the wall next to him and her.

"They are just gonna confuse you, Kitty." Lance told her as he is in no mood to try talking as he walked up to the wall he stretched his arm again at it.

"We're out of here!" Lance says as he started to do another earthquake rumble to shake the wall down.

"Kitty, please!" her mother begged her daughter as Jean use her psychic powers to move the staircase off of Kitty's father and move it to the other side.

"We can work through what you are going through together! Don't go with that boy!" The mother try begging her daughter and even though Kitty wants to, she can't get lose his grip as Lance's powers continues to shake the wall and soon enough, it started to have large craks on it.

"Let me go! Now!" Kitty demanded but he didn't listen as the wall has been shattered to pices creating the escape.

"We're in control now. We make our own path." Lance said as he pulled Kitty close to him as he hold her by both his hands.

After Jean was able to get the staircase of books off of Kitty's father, the woman who is Kitty's mother had rushed to her husband to check on him as he was slowly getting on his knees and hands to push him up from the ground as he looked to his daughter with eyes of regret and plead.

"Kitty, I'm sorry. I said that we would look for a solution, but I lied. I lied because I wanted to pretend like nothing is wrong and nothing had happened and to my selfish and fear I pushed you to this. I know." The father said as this made Kitty to him with eyes in shock as her mother got to her husband level to comfort him.

"I didn't want to believe everything had changed and nothing is wrong. I know that I made a wrong choice, I know that. I'm not perfect... I'm learning how to deal with change. Just like you are trying to learn how to deal with change." The father said with honest as he got up with his wife holding him as Kitty was beyond speechless as tears came down from her eyes.

"Daddy?"

"Forget them!" Lance pull her attention from them and on to him as he is furious as he had enough of the family drama.

"Come on! I'm bringing this place down!" Lance declared as he started using his powers to shake the whole room and possibly the building and as he is doing it. A bunch of rocks came down from the ceiling and as the rocks came down from shaking earthquake Jean Grey is using her telepathic ability to create a force field around her and Kitty's parents as the two were holding each other hoping not to get hit.

"You once told me, that you called your gift a curse, if you go with him I can guarantee you it will be." Jean tells her as Kitty is shock but is unsure what to decide what to do, as Lance frowned at Jean for what she said.

"Kitty please! Listen to her!" Her mother pleaded with her daughter.

"Sweetheart, we love you!" Her father begged his daughter too as Kitty mind is swelling with emotions as she came to a decision on what she should do.

"They're too late. Your with me now." Lance said as he is pulling her with him as he and her was about to walk through the escape hole, Kitty's hand phase out of Lance's grip.

"NO! I'M NOT!" Kitty yell as she got free from him and as she was making a break for it, Lance in his frustration has let loose his full force of the shaking as above Kitty the ceiling has made large crack as a large part of it blocked Kitty's way as this made jump back as this scars her and Lance took this time to leave not wanting to see her fate.

"KITTY!" The parents yell in concern as Jean is doing her best to hold the field around her and them from the incoming rocks, Jean can't help Kitty even if she can as she has got her hands full, if only there's someone else that can help her.

On the other side of the building Obsidian Man rushed to the wall to press his ear to the wall to hear if his friend and some people are still okay.

"Jean! You okay girl?!" Grant called out as this opened Jeans eyes for a second as she recognized the voice.

"Grant?!" Jean exclaimed as it made her lose a bit concentration before it was quickly regained.

"Don't worry Red! I am coming in! Hold on!" Grant tells her as he took a step back as he clenched both fists forming his rocky Obsidian matter and then he raised both them over his head as he gets ready to bring them down at the wall.

"Wait Grant don't! The ceiling won't...!" Jean tried to warn him but was too late as Obsidian Man had breached through the wall on the other side which is where Kitty is at as Grant made a hole, he stepped in looking at Jean on the left.

"Jean! Are you..?" Grant was cut off when he saw more rocks coming down on her as the field is still steady as he can see this is really taking it's toll.

"Hold on Jean! I'm coming!" Grant says as he was about to make his way but was halt when he heard a voice in his head.

'No Grant. I will assist her in mind to mind. You need to help the girl Kitty, quickly. Jean will be fine.' Xavier firmly told him as Grant reluctantly agreed as he did what he was told as Grant turned to start his search and he didn't need to look far.

"AAAAAHHH!" Kitty scream as Grant saw her being trapped by the boulders as she was stuck and Kitty tried to phase out but her ankle is hurt as she was frightened as the ceiling above her is starting to crack.

Time seems to move slow, as Grant eyes widened in complete shock, as he can feel his heart racing as the rush of intense memories draw in his mind.

The death of his parents, the burning house, the grave stones, and the nightmares that plague him.

'You could have saved us'

Kitty can only watch as the large rock began to fall on her as she closed her eyes to wait for the end, but it never came as she opened her slightly and when she saw what prevented her end Kitty gasp harshly and eyes widened in surprise shock.

It was Grant as he straining hard as he was holding the boulder that is crushing his shoulders as he got his obsidian fists holding it in place he is currently over Kitty as he trying really hard to pushed it off him.

"G-Grant?!" Kitty said in complete surprise as this sure surprise him too if he can show it but was still showing intense pain.

"H-hey there. You, kinda got me, a disadvantage since this is the first time I seen you, but your welcome sweetheart." Grant complemented her as he is now being pressed by the rock as he got on one knee as Kitty is extremely worried about him.

"Look it's okay! You don't have to do this! You could get yourself really hurt!" Kitty tried to tell him not to strain himself more just to save her but he shook his head.

"Nope, can't do that. Can't have this rock squash a good looking girl like you because if I did, I wouldn't be a man." Grant says to her as Kitty couldn't believe that he is finding this funny.

"This isn't a joke! Your body won't take it! Please I don't want you to get killed!" Kitty said in a scared tone as this frustrated Grant as this made him somehow have the strength to lift it up a bit as he is on two feet as he is still crouched not dropping this rock.

"Listen, I won't let this rock crush you! I will save you! This is what I always wanted to do, saving lives!" Grant declared in determination as this shock Kitty by his words.

"Saving lives?" Kitty asked as this made Grant nod his head.

"Yes! Save lives! Because I have been given this power to help people! I couldn't save my parents when they needed me, and if I couldn't save you or anyone else, then what is the point of having this power in the first place?!" Grant yelled with intense emotions tone that Kitty was visibly stunned at his resolve as he is now mustering the strength he is holding back and now unleashed it as he breaking a sweat drops as he started to pushed the rock straight up in a unknown direction and finally gotten it off of him as Grant is shaking heavily at how hard he have to lift it as Kitty is now showing a smile at him.

"Grant... thank you." Kitty said to him as he waved at her to hold her thanks.

"Don't thank me quite yet, we still need a way through the boulder in front of us, but first let's get you free first." Grant said being modest as he used one rocky matter fist to broke the binds off of her feet as Kitty hop off the hole and rushed to hug him which takes him by surprise but returned it and they shared it for a brief moment as they look at the boulder in front of them.

"Right, as I would try my luck against this boulder, I am not sure if I can lift it." Grant said as this made Kitty got this lit about her.

"You won't have to." Kitty said to him as this made Grant puzzled at this.

"Why's that?" Grant asked her.

"Because it's my turn to save you now. All you have to do, is to take my hand." Kitty said to him as this confused him more.

"Um, okay. Just long as it doesn't get weird." Grant said as this made Kitty infuriate her.

"Just take my hand." Kitty told him in commanding tone as this made Grant Compelled as he grab her hand as she lead him to the boulder as they walk.

"Now whatever you do, don't let go." Kitty tells him as he nodded at this as Kitty is the first to phase through with Grant following behind her as he was phased through too.

When the structure couldn't hold it much longer it collapsed as the boulders covered the side of the office as Xavier has finally arrived in time as he been in contact with Jean since he had sensed that Grant saved Kitty just in time, and when got into position he now placed two fingers of both his hands on his forehead to continue talking with Jean.

'Jean. Your powers. Use your powers.' Xavier contacts her as she is still steady her telepathic force field as she is struggling a lot trying to protect the parents while being worried about Kitty and Grant.

'I'm trying Professor. It's just too much.' Jean replied to him in her mind as he can sense that she is unfocused as he will hope to change that.

'I'll assist you. But you must keep your mind clear.' Xavier tells her as she was feeling unsure at this.

'But Kitty and Grant..' Jean wanted to tell him but he won't let this distract her as the two are fine.

'Keep your mind clear.' Xavier firmly told her as he is assisting her in telepathic ability of his own aiding her powers combined as she understands now as she is coming into focus as she isn't straining as she was before.

"No! Kitty." The mother says in shock as when the boulder came down the parents thought their daughter was crushed by it as the parents huddled together in sorrow.

"My little girl." The father says the same tone saddened by this as he and she were feeling the weight of guilt that this happened and just when they assume the worst, the unexpected happened.

One of the rocks shows that a hand is phasing through and soon enough it revealed that Kitty phased through along with Grant as he and she hop down the ground as Grant was shock but awed by this.

"It.. it worked!" Kitty said as Grant shows a grin to her.

"Girl, that was awesome! Let's do that again!" Grant says in ecstatic tone as this made Kitty bit surprised that he thinks so as she was glad that he thinks it's cool.

"Maybe later." Kitty said as he nodded his head at her as he and Kitty make their way to Jean and Kitty's parents as the mother and father saw them walking to them.

"Kitty..." the mother said in happiness as tears swelled down as Kitty hugged her parents as Grant was checking Jean to see how she is handling.

"Wait, who is this?" The father said as Grant was startled by the guy's suspicion as Kitty step in between the two.

"It's okay dad. He saved my life." Kitty tells him as the older man looks at Grant with appreciation.

"Okay, like everyone hold on to me. I will get us out this." Kitty tells them as the parents, Grant, and Jean hold on to Kitty she leads them out.

As Xavier is sitting in his wheelchair waiting on them as he saw them phased out of the rumble thanks to Kitty as this pleases Xavier.

"Yes Kitty. It is a gift. And Grant is right, the powers that you, Grant, and Jean has are given to help people. And you used it well." Xavier said in great wisdom as Kitty smile at this then turn to her parents with disappointed look on her face.

"Mom, I'm so sorry." Kitty said to her mother as she hugged her as she returned the same for a brief moment and then Kitty turned to her father.

"And Daddy, these people, they, like, want to help me. I trust them." Kitty said to him with admiration for them as her father nod in agreement.

"I know sweetie. And so do I." Her father said as he placed his hands on her shoulders for reassuring her as he them go, he looked at Xavier as he has a knowing look.

Professor, I think we have some things to talk about." The father said to him as Xavier nodded his head knowing full well of this.

"Yes, we do." Xavier reply to him.

"But first, I wanted to say something to one of your students." The father said as he approached Grant as gave an approval nod.

"Thank you, for saving my daughters life." The father said as he holds out his hand for him to shake on as Grant replied by shaking the mans hand.

"It was no big deal, your welcome." Grant says in a modest tone but the father shook his head.

"No, it's a very big deal to me. My daughter means the world to me, and you came in time to save her even when you're own life was at stake. I owe you one young man." The father said to Grant with great respect.

"It's really okay, I'm just glad I was able to help her out." Grant says to him as the father understands this and knows he can trust this boy.

As the father and the mother left in a private discussion with the professor, Grant is greeted by Kitty as she is looking nervous to talk with him but when Jean gives a okay look, Kitty took a breath before speaking.

"I wanted to thank you and Jean for helping me out." Kitty said to him as Grant is sheepishly scratched the back of his head.

"It was no problem at all." Grant reply as he felt great to help her out as he always said that being a big superhero is what he wanted to do.

"Now I believe proper introduction is in order now that you are part of a team now." Grant says to her as Kitty was a bit confused to what he by 'team' he then put his hand in front of her for to shake on.

"My name is Grant Alexander. But I guess you somehow know who I am. What is your name sweetheart?" Grant complimented as this made a blush on Kitty as she shook it as she gave him a greeting smile as she shook his hand with her own.

"My name is Kitty. Kitty Pryde." Kitty introduce herself to him as Jean watch as this would turn out to be an interesting friendship between the two.

Sometime later as Grant and his friends cleared out, the ambulance and fire trucks had pulled in to help the injured as Lance walked up the hill as he couldn't believe that the perfect idea he had just went up and smoke.

As he was looking back at what used to be the office building, the principal came out of the bushes and stood across Lance as he saw her in surprise that the principal is out here.

"After that stunt you pulled, I'd say you've blown your chances at this school, haven't you?" The principal asked in a stern tone as Lance was giving her the dirty look.

"And you are...?" Lance asked the principal as she chuckled a bit.

"Your new advisor. I've made an opening for you at Bayville high." The principal stated as this surprise Lance at this.

"I have much to teach you, my young Avalanche." The principal said as she finished her sentence, she shaped shift into her true form before him.

Whatever plans that she wants from him, it will no where be good, for the X-Men and Grant Alexander.
